Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

Carter Cross is one sinfully addicted alpha!

Merciless is exceptional. Carter is sexy, powerful and dangerous. I love it. It is a book that captures your attention and doesn't let you go. I couldn't help but to fall in love with both Carter and Aria. Page after page, word after word of complete brilliance.
I didn't know what to expect with Merciless, but what I got was so much more and everything in between.

I can already see that the Cross men are going to be an addiction to readers. I for one cannot wait to see what else is in store!

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend…”

Aria Talvery is the daughter of the most violent crime family around. She becomes a casualty when she is abducted and then given to Carter Cross to start a war.

Carter sees an opportunity to get everything he’s ever wanted when an enemy of the Talvery family approaches him. He agrees to help the faction but only IF they meet his demand.

“The best laid plans…”

Carter does not do anything without a reason. He is cold calculating and merciless. But, he starts to change his plans the more time Aria spends as his unwilling captive. He realizes how broken she is but he cannot and will not let her go. As days pass, Aria works her way under his skin. His cool demeanour thaws while the passion between them explodes. But, passion does not equal love or freedom and that’s what Aria needs and wants most.

Will Carter ever become merciful enough to set her free?

This book was phenomenal! It is a darkly thrilling, exciting and engaging read. It is told in dual POV. The pace is perfect and the story flowed so well, upping the angst and the thrill as it progressed. I was riveted. It is a little different from this author’s normal writing style, leaning more towards “romantic thriller”, but I relished it nonetheless. It is also the second book in a series of standalones that are interconnected.

Time ceased to exist as I read this book. I was consumed throughout. There was so much tension in this book that you could cut it with a knife. The desire between the characters was palpable.

The writing pulled me in and kept me engaged. In alternate parts of this book, my breath came ragged and shallow due to the anticipation while others I held in my breath with dread. Not to mention fanning myself from the scorching hot sex scenes!

As for the characters, Carter was a sexy, obsessive and possessive man. He was more of an antihero but I loved his character and his possessiveness. Aria is broken from a past trauma and she is a strong as she can possibly be, considering. Her character was well-written and I found myself feeling for her plight and having my stomach drop in fear for her.

This is an all encompassing read about setting yourself free and facing your fears. The story resonated with me. What Carter does for Aria and how this author wrote it was masterful. I absolutely loved it!

At the end of the book, I felt at odds with myself. I didn’t want this story to end and I guess I got what I was looking for because of the cliff-hanger ending but GRRR!!! I don’t want to wait! I’m so excited to continue their story in the upcoming book Heartless!

Recommended to those who like passionate romance with a dark thrill.

I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Where to start? Carter captivated me from the very start. Merciless is without a doubt one of my favourites books of 2018.

Carter is the head of his family business. He's cold-hearted, ruthless and always gets what he wants. And he wants Aria.

Carter and Aria's story isn't a straight forward one. There is sadness, fear, attraction and plenty of fireworks. I read this book from start to finish. I had to know what was going to happen between the two of them and I wasn't disappointed.

We met Carter briefly in Poessessive and I was looking forward to learning more about him. He didn't disappoint me. Dominant, protective, ruthless and driven. He knows what he wants and he doesn't stop until he gets it. I was enchanted by him. He is so intense.

Aria is strong and defiant. She resents being taken but finds herself drawn to Carter even though she doesn't want to be.

I didn't see where the story was going and I loved it. I can't wait to see what Willow writes next.

Willow Winters has done it again and this book is going down as my early favourite of 2018. This book is gripping; an astounding mix of cruelty, brutality, beauty and frailty combining to produce a story that will leave you shellshocked and wanting more.

Carter Cross is the dark knight who works to ensure that his world does not slip from his tight control. Aria Talvery is his songbird, beautifully broken by a world in which women are only pawns. Both are connected, haunted by a past that they will not share. These characters bleed from the pages as Willow Winters demonstrates her absolute mastery as a writer and you can't help but relate to their most dark actions, feelings and desires. Merciless is an amazing novel not just for the intriguing interactions between Carter and Aria but also for the secondary characters that surround them and the world that Winters is building. This book carries on from Possessive and while it can be read alone it will be much richer if read as a series.

Merciless left me speechless. It is an unbelievable read and I would highly recommend everyone meet Carter Cross.

description~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
I will be honest, I am struggling a little with how to rate this book. On one hand, I enjoyed it a lot. The writing was fantastic. The pace was perfect. The plot was super engaging and kept me turning the pages like a crazy person. I just couldn't connect with Carter and Aria as a couple. I read (and love) a lot of dark romances so I don't always expect my heroes to be sweet upstanding citizens, but generally, there are moments even in the darkest of books that I feel the hero cares (even if it is in his own twisted way) for the heroine. In this one I just DIDN'T. Most people wouldn't treat their pets as awfully as Carter treated Aria. I just never understood the reasoning behind why he had to treat her so badly to get what he wanted? He wanted to break her? Why? Surely he could have gone about it in a less harsh and cold way? And from Aria's side, I just felt like the poor girl had Stockholm Syndrome so bad she would have done anything Carter said to stay out of the cell he kept her in. In any case, this one ends on a cliffhanger so I am hoping maybe we will get a bit more background on the "WHY" Carter did what he did in the next book.

~HERO~
CARTER...Carter was a bit of a mixed bag. He was sexy. He was domineering. He was charming. I love how close to his brother's he is. That said, the way he treated Aria was just really abysmal. Since we don't get a lot of background info (IMO) on WHY Carter is doing what he is doing with Aria, it just felt like he wanted to break her and didn't care how cruel he had to be to get it done. Like I mentioned above though, I am hoping we will dive a bit more into his reasonings in the next book. So I have my fingers crossed he can be redeemed.

~HEROINE~
ARIA...Sigh. I honestly just felt so sorry for this chick. She stayed strong for as long as she could. Even the most strong of spirits are going to break when being kept in a cell with a thin mattress. With very little sleep. Very little food. No place to bath, and having your mind f-cked with continuously. There really isn't much more I can say about her because her character was pretty much a victim for the entire book. Hopefully, in the next one, we see a stronger, tougher Aria.

description

~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~
This one was pretty light of secondary characters. Mostly we just see Jase (Carter's brother), and a little of Daniel, (Carter's other brother) and the hero from the previous book. All the brothers intrigue me so I can't wait to read their books.

~HEAT LEVEL~
Low. There are couple moderately spicey sex scenes in this one, but I wouldn't say it was overly erotic or kinky. There was some spanking. Handcuffs. That sort of thing. That said, the frequency and heat felt organic to the story.

~ANGST LEVEL - SEXUAL HISTORIES~
High...Most of the angst in this one came from the way Carter treated Aria. There was no OW or OM drama. Neither were virgins, and there isn't a single mention of either of their past sexual experiences.

~IN THE END~
So yea, I don't know. Like I said, on one hand, I pretty much inhaled this book in one go. So obviously I liked a whole lot about the book. I adore this authors writing. It (more often than not) is top notch. The pace was good. The plot engaging. Mainly, I just struggled with the way Carter treated Aria for the entire book. I needed some "softer" scenes that showed he actually had genuine feelings for Aria. Or at the very least more explanation for his harsh actions. Hopefully, the next book will address both those things. I know I will be waiting not so patiently to get my hands on it. So, for now, I am going to go with a 3.5 Stars rating with the option of changing that as I marinate on it more.description

So....the alpha H needs to own the h... abducts her (allegedly to protect her from a mafia war)... decides he wants to break her (that is always a lovely way to phrase things)...locks her in a cell with no shower/food/bed/windows to achieve the "breaking"
Then in my opinion he waits until she develops Stockholm syndrom and agrees to kneel to him...then they have sex a lot lot lot.... and finally He turns her into a murderer to cure her from past trauma and help her get revenge...and cliffhanger!
I don't understand why I read that until the end...the writing probably.😇

This book saddened me. This wasn't a romance novel, there was nothing romantic or sexy about this. This was all Stockholm syndrome and broke my heart. The reviews I read made it sound dark and romantic. it wasn't. The poor girl was locked in a cell and told she could never leave because she belonged to the main character. Abused when she expressed her need to go home. Manipulated to the point she believed she needed and loved her abuser.

This is a real page turner! I couldn't flip the pages fast enough. Carter Cross is one of Willow Winter's most enigmatic characters yet. And the ending... ABSOLUTELY MIND-BLOWING!

When he was introduced at the end of Possessive, I wanted his story immediately!! In Merciless, we come face to with the hardened Mafia boss and witness his merciless nature first hand. This isn't a sweet and cuddly romance, folks. The title and blurb are spot on. Carter is cold-hearted and ruthless. Nothing stands in the way of what he wants. And Aria is who he's set his sights on.

Merciless is grittier than the previous book in the series. Carter is darker, more dangerous, and he's definitely on a mission to steal my heart!

When I read the blurb to Merciless I knew I needed to read it. I enjoyed Possessive by this author and was very curious about Carter's story. While I am (fanatically) obsessed with dark mafia type stories I just could not really connect with Carter and his relationship with Aria. As a result, Merciless was sort of a mixed bag for me.

When Carter Cross kidnaps Aria Talvery in a deal with an opposing family, no one could imagine the consequences or the war he would be causing. While I enjoyed this story, I couldn't really feel any other emotion from him other than possessiveness for Aria. Likewise, her fear of him was so deep that it was hard for me to see or feel any other type of emotion she might have had for him. This was Stockholm Syndrome on another level.

I'm still not sure how I feel about Carter to be honest as he was not very likeable. He was sexy and charismatic, yes. But I also found him to be without any redeeming qualities. I had hoped the author would delve into the meat of Carter's history with Aria but we never really got a glimpse into who he was inside but rather just his need to break Aria and ultimately own her submission. Here lies my problem with the story. When you read dark romance, there is an inevitable turning point where the reader can actually feel the emotion or love from the respective hero and heroine. But in this case all I felt was a deep possessiveness and obsession from him and fear and obedience from her. At times I had tears in my eyes over how he would treat her more like a malleable doll instead of a person. She went from being her Father's princess kept in a gilded cage to Carter's songbird kept as a slave and told how to feel.

Don't get me wrong - I WILL read Heartless but I wish it was on a happier note. I feel distraught and disturbed after reading this book and feel like this was more of a psychological story versus a romance as fear and the need to possess kept them together. This story is also a cliffy *beware.* All in all, while this story was not a favorite, I am curious to see the progression of Aria and Carter's story. 3 stars, Ratula

This book is no romance. This is about an abusive relationship where the man is mentally ill.

I want to say I hate Carter. He is awful, like maybe the worst. But is it right to hate him? Considering the fact that he is terribly sick? At this point, I even think his psychological disorder is beyond treatment, so can I actually blame him for his behaviors? He just needs treatment, asap.

And the funny-sad part about the book is that it isn't even dark. While all this madness is going on, everything feels very casual. Perhaps this is the biggest reason I couldn't vote for this book any higher because I wouldn't expect a book with these sensitive topics to be so cheesy. Well, this is basically a psychological thriller, but it rather feels like a chick-lit.

The way she is treated, how he manipulates her, the fear she has, Stockholm syndrome born out of her desperation… She has been abused, assaulted (sexually and psychically), and bullied (all by none other than her so-called significant other).

Poor Aria, a genuinely nice, innocent, kind-hearted baby. You deserved none of them. I think she did everything with her survival instincts so that I can’t judge her decisions; I can’t call her stupid, naive, or weak. Because how can I? How can I expect her to have a clear mind after everything she has been through? The saddest part is that the healthy partner becomes sicker than the sickly manipulative partner when it cannot be intervened at the end of this kind of abusive relationship.

And here at the end of this story, all I can say is Congratulations Carter, you created a woman like yourself, completely broken, unhealthy, sad, mad, and crazy. Now she needs serious and immediate treatment as well.

I think this book should be observed and studied psychologically.

And I could've still rated this book with high rates. Assuming how good the abusive relationship was portrayed. Even 5 stars, really.

If I were not aware of the existence of future books and this couple's happy ending. As if it could happen...

And to be honest, this book ended perfectly. The end was total madness, and It could’ve stayed like this. The rest would've been unknown, left for the reader’s perception. But again, I already know this isn’t the end, so I just can't vote higher. I can’t because this is a false advertisement. This story can't have a happy ending or happily ever after. It is wrong.

So

If it were up to me. This would've been a stand-alone, and maybe only I would’ve added an epilogue or sth like below to this end.

1) After losing herself, Aria can’t live with her burden, and she harms or kills Carter and run away (extra burden, extra madness) but end up dead or in rehab and sentenced to many years in jail.

2) Aria finally finds a way to break free and runs away give in to the police and sign up for rehab tries to start fixing her life, on the other hand, Carter also goes into rehab and starts his treatment. All the Cross family, including him, end up in jail for life, for everything they had done.

3) The readers have a glimpse of Aria's life. Nothing actually changes; she continues to live like this; she is totally submitted to Carter. The focus is on her, and the reader can see her unwillingness of life, the shock, the terror, the madness in her eyes.

Etc, etc.… Unfortunately, I am not a writer.

Sorry, Miss Winters, but for this story, maybe it triggered sth in me. I dunno but yeah, I can’t give more than 2 stars.

PS: I know I said I can't judge Carter. But I have to add this. He makes her kneel before him, yep, all the time. Where is this Khaleesi complex of yours coming from, man? I think I was done with this book with this fact.

With all due respect to the MAD Queen.

Carter and Aria's story is way dark and intense. And not over. So much of this is waiting as she slowly breaks- this girl is super strong-willed and fierce. A good match for him. These brothers are really something, quite a power family. I hope they all get a story!

Carter can be pretty ruthless and scary. I wouldn't mess with him. There is so much more we need to know about him, their connection, the war, just everything! The end of this book was way shocking! I hope I don't have to wait too long for the next book and find out how everything turns out for these two.

3.5 stars - I listened to the Audible version and I think that I would've liked the book more if I had read it versus listened to the audiobook as I could barely stand Aria's voice. I had the impression of listening to a whining baby from beginning to end. :(

That being said, I wasn't quite sure what to expect as Merciless is my first book by this author. This turned out to be a good read although there were few things that bothered me. I enjoyed the premise of the story, the plot was interesting and the execution was good. What didn't quite work for me and took the shine off was that I didn’t feel the connection between Aria and Carter, neither the sexual tension between the two. Even though this book didn't blow me away I will definitely read the rest of this series and check out more books by this author.

ARC BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-15/5/18

I really enjoyed "Merciless" Willow Winters new book and while at times I did wonder about the reasons behind Carter's cold and calculated facade; and his abysmal treatment of his enemy's daughter Aria; It was not enough to bother me and turn me away from this intriguing piece of fiction.
So after having, Aria delivered for his own personal obscure reasonings.
Carter sets out to break her to his will and I'm not exactly sure why.
There a lot of mystery surrounding his internal thought process; even when we are are listening to things from his POV.
It's almost like Carter is the only one fully aware of the intricacies of his mental reasonings.
I mean locking her up in that cell with the barest of necessities does seem a trifle overkill in my opinion.
tenor.gif
I'm also not fully sure why he wants Aria to Kneel and obey him so much; other than the obvious of course.
And there were almost times when it seemed to me that Carter believes he is actually saving her.
I can only surmise; From her family's ultimate fate.
There are some clues to a shared past as well, but mainly at this moment, everything seems to be clouded in a mist of obscurity.
I'm assuming Carter has his reasons for his heinous behaviour and we will eventually be let in on his full agenda in the next book.
Fingers crossed there.
Aria herself, well I just felt really sorry for the poor girl.
What a crock of crap shes inherited just by the accident of her birth.
The daughter shall pay for the fathers sins is a very apt observation here.
Aria has definitely gone into survival mode and has formed an unhealthy attachment to her Jailor Carter, but Carter ultimately is her heaven as well as her hell.
Her downfall but also her salvation.
And I've got to admit I'm partial to a bit of stockholmy type behaviour; its a secret weakness of mine; so I was quids in here.
anigif_enhanced-buzz-3956-1389989779-3.gif
"Merciless" was fast-paced and easily kept my attention.
It was dual POV and had minimal secondary characters.
Mainly just Daniel and Jace; Carters Brothers.
there was no OM or OW drama and it had just the correct balance of intimacy while still focusing heavily on its addictive storyline.
So I was rocking along nicely at a four-star rating then.
OMG!!!
89089837-omg-reaction-.gif
That bloody finale, what a finish folks.
That ending nicely catapulted this up into a different hemisphere totally.
Making what was for me a great read into a fantastic one.
Can't say how much I adored it.
So, in conclusion, this was a really enjoyable read and I so can't wait to read the next instalment here.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "Merciless" of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Wow

Typically a wow is a start for me to rave about a review but this one was just bad. I like mafia stories, I’m totally down with kidnapping the forced proximity and the general lack of morals these stories come with. But this isn’t that. It’s just abuse, it’s just rape. There is no morally grey, it’s just the single shade of evil, no in between. There isn’t a single redeeming quality to carter. And aria is a weak idiot. Together I don’t get what’s compelling about them.

Merciless by Willow Winters
GENRE: Dark Romance Suspense
NARRATION: Dual POV
BOOK DETAILS: Book #1 of 4 in the Merciless Series
AUDIO AVAILABLE? Yes

THE STORY:
Aria Talvery is daughter to a powerful crime family. War is brewing amongst three criminal families in a fight for territory. It erupts when Aria is abducted by one enemy and given to another. Carter Cross.

Carter is a cold, calculating criminal who is about to test the limits of Aria’s strength. He will be ruthless in his control and the longer he keeps her prisoner and the harder she fights him, the sweeter her submission will be.

Some wars are worth the fight. Possession becomes Obsession, and there will be no Mercy!
"She's the reason I lived and turned into this. I don't just want her at my mercy. I want everything she has. I'm not going to stop until I have her and her everything"

description

MY THOUGHTS:
To say I loved this would not do it justice enough. This is exactly the type of book I'd been craving. I have recieved a lot of contemporary romance ARC's, so I have really been missing my Dark Romances with their brooding dominant alpha Male and strong defiant heroine. Merciless did not disappoint.

Willow Winters has a way of making you get inside of her characters minds, feel their fear, lust and heartache. A master storyteller, she is unafraid to step outside the boundaries, test her readers, and leave a mark on you with her unabashed stories. To me that's what makes a good author great.

I loved Aria's strength and strong will. She fought with everything she had which made her submission in the end so much sweeter. Despite her cage this little song bird sang a loud tune.

Carter Cross is the perfect dominant devil, he is bold in his actions, imperious, calculated and authoritative. He is a man you’re going to love to hate. He is merciless!

This is a deliciously dark story that will have you suspended in time whilst you devour every page. I cannot wait to get stuck into Heartless Book 2 in the series.

Warning: This book contains triggers and sensitive subject matter.

MY RATINGS: (All ratings are out of 5)
HERO RATING: 5
HEROINE RATING: 5

Narrated by: Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood
Length: 6h 57mins

Jacob Morgan was the perfect Carter Cross, his smooth authoritative tone portrayed his character perfectly. At times my skin crawled with his venomous tone he used. He narrated his dominant and dirty words with such an edge it brought me chills. Jacob's narration in Merciless was exceptional.

Savannah was brilliant, devastatingly brilliant. There was a desperation in her voice that captured me, you felt every emotion she portrayed. Her narration was spot on for her character.

Together Jacob and Savannah's narration made the story come to life. I cannot wait to hear the next audio book in the series Heartless.

I'll start by telling all the people who haven't read this twisted book- do yourself a favor and don't start read this shit.
I have never written a review on a writer, always on the book she/he wrote. But for the first time, I feel like I have to write about the writer personally. Who the fack are you, Willow Winters? How could you write such a twisted, disgraceful book with zero respect for women? You tried to describe in romantically and seductively way, a completely twisted story of a sociopath who mentally tortured a woman until she submitted to him. I have to repeat myself. What the fack is wrong with you, Willow Winters? Although it goes without saying, I'll say it nevertheless -there is nothing romantic about the kidnapping. Yes, even if the kidnapper is in love with a kidnapped girl. I'm sure, Willow Winters, that if your daughter had been abducted by someone, you wouldn't have written such a twisted story. Because it's not nice. Not romantic. Not desirable. Not tempting. Not sexy. Nothing else but pure, repulsive horror. And to all the people who loved this offensive book, I hope you educate your children differently.

Stop calling abduction and Stockholm syndrome “dark romance”. It’s fucked up.

Usually I’m not here to kink shame but someone needs to explain to me what is so “sexy” about pushing a woman to the point of mental breakdown so she loves her abductor? It’s gross.

WHAT. WAS. THAT!? I am absolutely devastated that there was an end to this book, I could read about Carter and Aria all day, everyday! I swear I'm not doing this on purpose.....I don't plan on saying this after every Willow Winters book but it's the truth.....AHHHHHH this is my FAVORITE yet!! I mean, how is she DOING this EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!????

Carter Cross is not a man you'd want to cross, he's the text book definition of take charge. He's a ruler, he's head of the "family business" he's the oldest of 4 brothers, and he always gets what he wants. Now, at first I wasn't too sure how I felt about Carter. I wasn't quite sure what his intentions were, if he was cruel just to be so, if he was redeemable or if he was the devil himself. Slowly, I began to see that every calculated move had a purpose and I was unwittingly drawn into his dark side, a place I never want to leave.

"I want to consume her every waking thought. I want her to live and breathe for me and my desires. And maybe this is the cost of it all. That I can have her during her days, but her nights will destroy her."

Aria Talvarey is a pawn in a game she never signed up to play in. All she knows is that she now belongs to Carter. She is his. Her mother is gone and because of her father's decisions she is in the middle of a war. Right now her goal is self preservation, and survival. She doesn’t know who she can trust and lack of sleep due to night terrors isn't helping. He comes to her everyday. Carter. Whatever he wants Aria isn't going to give. Ever! But.....some of the harshness in his words are doled by the softness in his eyes. What is his end game?

"The last thing you should know, and the most important of them all, is that I refuse to break. I don’t give in and I don’t back down. Not for anyone, and especially not for Carter Cross."

HOLY armadillo droppings the writing was so damn crisp, precise and intense. My heart was POUNDING!!! This world that Willow has created, with these characters? It's honestly something I wasn't quite expecting but I'm so grateful I got to experience it. A top read this year for me and goes on my list of one of my favorite dark romances.

“I won’t let you ride my cock until you tell me how badly you want to cum on it.” I hold her fiery gaze as I ask, “Do you understand me?”

“Humor me, Aria. I already know you’re strong.”

“You make me weak.” Her voice breaks and the tension from the other day returns in full force. She steadies her trembling lip between her teeth.

“Is that what you’re afraid of? Being weak?” She nods her head slightly, ever so slightly. And I can see the last bit of her walls crumble for me. Crashing down to the ground in small, insignificant piles of rubble. “I don’t want you weak.” I lean forward, whispering against her lips, “I want you mine.”

4.5 STARS

My Willow Winters binge continues and OMG I'm so in love. It's been YEARS since I've read anything in the captive/captor trope and I forgot how deliciously forbidden it all feels. This one was SO good, so dark, so hauntingly decadent. I'm in love with the Merciless world, with these characters and I'm not coming up for air anytime soon!

1/2 A STAR

Have you ever read a book finish even though you don’t like it...Just to know were its leading to? MERCILESS to me is the type of book. I dunno if i read the same book with everyone else cuz this book is utterly STUPID!!Yeah I know its supposedly meant to be a dark romance but all I see is Madness and big time Foolishness in the highest order... I dunno why some Authors thinks its okay to make their heroine fall in love or be so sexually attracted or even feel safe in the hands of someone that is out to kill or assist the murder of your family.

This book started with Carter(H) already plotting the kidnapping of Aria(h). Next Chapter after all Aria blah blah blah she got kidnapped because she wanted to get her sketch pad from a friend that took it without permission which made her find herself in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I can’t even write anything...

This book has been in my Kindle for a long time and i decided to give Willow Winters a Chance and now am utterly disappointed.

Merciless by Willow Winters. This is the story of Carter and Aria.
There is a fight brewing between three mafia members. Carter is the head of one and Aria father is the head of another one. Carter wants Aria for his own and another gang trying to make a deal with him takes Aria and give her to him. Carter is hard on Aria making her break but their attraction is one that takes over for them.
Aria is learning to deal with being owned by Carter and the up and coming war that he will ensure kills her father and friend. Although Aria isn't close to her father she has mixed feelings dealing with what is to come.
This was a really dark romance but one that I couldn't stop reading. I can't wait for the next installment in their story.

THE STORY
Aria Talvery is daughter to a powerful crime family. War is brewing amongst three criminal families in a fight for territory .

She's the reason I lived and turned into this. I don't just want her at my mercy. I want everything she has. I'm not going to stop until I have her and her everything

MY THOUGHTS

I cannot wait to get stuck into Heartless

Narrated by: Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood
Length:
6h 57mins
