A wild Texas cowboy has finally met his match in this sizzling, small town romance from bestselling author Kimberly Lewis.

For years, Karlie Kyle has had it bad for Luke McKade, wishing he’d see her as something more than a shy girl in braided pigtails. But now that she’s all grown up, she’s ready to stake her claim and brand the heart of the sexy, smooth-talking cowboy who "can't be tamed."

Luke doesn’t do commitment, but when Karlie shows up on his family’s ranch—with dangerous curves and a tempting proposition he just can’t refuse—he quickly finds she’s got a way of getting him to do things he swore he’d never do…like wanting to break all of his rules and never let her go. Can he keep things casual when their temporary agreement starts getting cozier by the minute? Or will the pull of something deeper convince him that love is worth the risk?

All Karlie Jo wants out of life is for Luke to fall in love with her. She has had a huge crush on him ever since she was little, and now she thinks she loves him. Coming back to her hometown to intern with horses, she ends up interning at Luke's family ranch.

Luke can't believe Karlie Jo is all grown up and has the confidence of a woman. He starts to lust after her right away and they start a fling that isn't supposed to have strings attached.

This one was just too sweet for me. Sometimes I felt like Luke and Karlie Jo had the same personality. I needed a little more cowboy grit and to go more in-depth with the characters. I liked Karlie Jo - her character had some depth. But Luke didn't do much for me. That makes me a sad cowgirl.

Audiobook Review: Luke (The McKades of Texas, #3) by Kimberly Lewis (Author), Tiffany Williams (Narrator)

Luke is a smokin' read and an even hotter listen. Lewis and Williams work well together. Lewis provided the words that grab ahold of your heart and Williams gives them the voice that brings them to life. Karlie has waited on the sidelines for years, waiting for the guy of dreams to take notice. Now it's time to claim her man. Luke never knew what hit him. A tempting battle of hearts that is worth every minute.

Luke is the third book in the McKades of Texas series by Kimberly Lewis. It is a fun, light-hearted and romantic story- with a generous serve of spice that really heats things up. Even though it is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone- but be prepared to find yourself intrigued enough that you will want to go in search of the other two book in the series, too.
I can always count on Ms. Lewis to entertain me- she has a way of enticing you further and further into her stories- getting you hooked and keeping you glued to the pages- right through till the end, and this story was no exception. I fell in love with the characters and found myself investing in them and their story- rooting for them the whole way through.
Karlie is a sassy, confident and determined to get her man. Luke is quite sweet really- but he’s not going to know what hit him when Karlie, all grown up and such a sexy young woman now- comes back into his life. What happens makes for some funny, witty, and very entertaining reading. There were a few times that I wanted to shake Luke and tell him to get his act together, where he frustrated me no end- but it added to the tension and gave the story some added drama.
A great read!

Thank you, Ms. Lewis!

Luke and Karlie's story provided a much enjoyed easy and light-hearted read, with just enough drama to keep things moving. I loved Karlie's confidence and her flirty fun attitude. I adored Luke's protective instincts and how when he fell for Karlie, he fell hard and it didn't matter what his past was, he was all in. The family bonds and interactions provided some hilarious comic relief.

And I gotta say, this story made me want to go out and find a horse to pet and ride.

This was my first book (audio) by Kimberly Lewis and I'm looking forward to backtracking some and getting the other McKade's stories when looking for a palette cleanser story.

btw, the narrator on this book - absolutely terrific!!

This is the third book in this series but can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed this story, it pulled me into the story with ease and held my attention to the end. Karlie and Luke have such chemistry that I found myself hoping they would find their HEA. What will happen when Karlie makes a proposition to Luke that he can't refuse? Is this just a fling or is it something more? They are great characters, connectable and lovable. I highly recommend this book.

Luke (The McKades of Texas #3) by Kimberly Lewis was a wicket, fun, hot read that should not have read in 30+ weather.

Oh boy oh boy! Where do I start? I'm going to skip my normal opening rant, lets jump in, shall we?

Right from the opening, Karlie's voice was clean, and it oozed confidence. When she was recanting her past, you can hear the resolve in her characters voice. She wanted Luke, and she wasn't going to stop until she had him. She was bold, sassy, and a perfect mix of cowgirl and girl next door. I loved how she fit into the McKade's family dynamics. How they couldn't tell she was head over heals for Luke, is it's own mystery.

Luke, oh Luke you poor soul. He didn't know what hit him when Karlie walked back into his life, all grown up, and like I said, oozing sexy confidence. I like how the POV switched back a forth because, I loved reading his inner conflicts. Then wanting to smack him silly, and tell him to get over himself. Luckily, Karlie did that for me. I got a kick out him, his smooth banter, cocky ways and of course, the quick fire banter between, not only him and Karlie, but his family. (It reminded me of how me and mine get alone. )

He wasn't your typical alpha male, sure he did reek of it, but the way he carried himself, and the respected his showed everyone that deserves it, made him stand out. He wasn't controlling of Karlie, and at no point did he make her feel lesser then him. He praised her and her dreams. I hate to say it, but he was a true souther gentleman. (I want one!)

Overall this book was, for me, outstandingly good. The writing was smooth and easy to follow. There was a good balanced between dialogue and story telling. No filler, and no lulls; I had this read in on one sitting. Everything was entertaining and kept my mind engaged right until the last page. I would also like to point out, that all side characters were great. Each had their own personality, and voices. They rounded out an already amazing story, and added a layer of complexity making you almost believe that this story did in fact happen.

This book is a super high recommendation from me, it's that perfect summer read that will have you laughing, grinning, angry, and giddy all at the same time.

Happy Reading

Ok, ya’ll are going to love this just as much as I did, I promise ya’ll! Sticking to the sweet southern love theme, I will go ahead and overuse ya’ll in this review as much as I have always wanted to! I adored this sweet romance from Kimberly Lewis. This is the third book in The McKades of Texas series from her. I don’t believe that it is necessary to read the books in order or before this one in order to enjoy it. I can see where it can be read as a standalone, but being as it was so good, ya’ll should just one-click the whole series that is available right now!

I have really grown to love the sweet and innocent way that Kimberly Lewis can weave a love story. I quickly found myself falling for the characters as I read each of their stories and by the end of the novel I was sad to see my new friends go. I look forward to more hints of where they are in the future novels to come in The McKades of Texas series.

Karlie is not your typical female damsel in distress love interest sought after by the typical alpha male. These two are so much more. Karlie is a confident and independent woman. She has a strong sense of self and knows exactly what she wants and how to go about getting it. For the purpose of this review and story, let’s just say what she wants is Luke.

Luke breaks the mold of the typical alpha male lead in most romance novels that I read. He stood out as a charming and handsome man. He knows that he has what all the girls want but he also knows his manners. Can we say epitome of a southern gentleman. Even when he did become too alpha in his actions, Karlie was quick to reprimand and put him in his place.

I found myself completely satisfied with these two and how their journey came about and played out. I loved every moment of my time spent with these two and the McKade family. I can’t wait to see what will come next in the series and in future works from Kimberly Lewis. I quickly finished this book, and would suggest setting aside a few hours where you can devour this in one sitting uninterrupted for the best reading enjoyment. Most of all ya’ll enjoy and have fun reading all about Karlie and Luke!

Luke (The McKades of Texas #3)
By: Kimberly Lewis
5 out of 5 stars

The story Luke (The McKades of Texas #3) by Kimberly Lewis is a contemporary romance book. It has a wonderful mixture of horses, cowboys, and romance. Once I started reading this book I was drawn in and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. I loved the characters of Karlie Kyle and Luke McKade. Karlie is a young woman who is good working with horses. She is beautiful, sassy, and a tomboy. She has always had feelings for Luke that have never gone away or been revealed. Luke works on the family farm. He has never been one to date or commit to a relationship. Once he sees the young woman that Karlie has become he finds himself unable to stop thinking about her. He also begins to have feelings that he has never had for another before. I loved reading about how they banter and flirt with each other. There are some scenes between them that will make the temperature rise in the room. The attraction/chemistry between them is undeniable. They agree to a no-commitment/no-strings summer fling. What will happen when their emotions turn it into more than that? Will Karlie get Luke forever as she has always wanted? Read this book to find out what happens and if this couple end up with broken hearts or an HEA. There are many other characters that you are introduced to in this story. There is a feeling of warmth and family when you read about them. I loved reading about the way that they interact with each other, Karlie, and Luke. The teasing that goes on had me with a smile on my face and sometimes laughing out loud. This is a well-written book that any lover of romance will not want to miss out on. It is the third book in a series and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

Review For Audiobook:

Luke is the first book that i have listened to by this author and I loved it. It was a sweet and funny story that i found both heartwarming and hot hot hot. The author did a wonderful job at capturing my attention and keeping me interested til the very end.
Karlie is our MC and she just graduated from college. Luke is a sexy noncommittal cowboy that Karlie has known her whole life and she has loved him for as long as she can remember. She has decided to take an internship at Luke's family's ranch for the summer to make her job resume look better to future employers. When Luke sees Karlie for the first time after two years he is extremely surprised that little Ms.Karlie isn't so little anymore. The banter between the two of them is hilarious and i just love that Karlie is a little firecracker. Will a relationship bloom between them or will they remain family friends like they have always been.
I thought the Narrator was the perfect choice for this book because she was able to make a different voice for all of the characters and that made it easy to listen and follow along. I think my favorite voice she did was Luke's Momma! She sounded EXACTLY like a southern momma should.
I think both author and narrator did an awesome job and I will definitely listen to more books by both of them!

Luke by Kimberly Lewis is the third book in The McKades of Texas series. This book can be read as a standalone, although if you are anything like me you will want to go back and read the rest.
Karlie has always had eyes for Luke and only Luke. But she knows that he only sees her one way – as a cute, shy little girl. He doesn’t think of her as a woman, as much as she desperately wants him to. However, she has grown up and is ready to disabuse him of the image he has carried around for years.
With a proposition all laid out for him Karlie sets out to get what she wants. But while she is aiming for forever, Luke is working on a temporary basis. Can Karlie change his mind? Or is she destined to have her heart broken after all.
This was the first book I had read in this series and it is one that I enjoyed immensely. I always like stories where the h surprises the H when she has grown into a woman. And poor Luke just didn’t stand a chance. I liked their interaction together, it was believable and well put together. The author really let the story flow well and it was easy to read page after page. I will certainly be going back to add on books 1 & 2.

Luke: The McKades of Texas, Book 3 by Kimberly Lewis

5 Stars

This is my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it!! I had no problem reading this as a standalone but do want to go back and read Zane and Norah’s stories because I enjoyed this one so much. I love cowboy stories and this one was perfect. I fell in love with the characters..All of them...I loved the interaction between them all and Karlie’s spunk was awesome.

I read this in one sitting because it flowed so perfectly and although it was somewhat predictable I don't even care, I loved everything about it. I was so angry a few times at Luke but then he did something that will go down as one of my favorite scenes ever, I had big old alligator tears rolling down my cheeks and I felt like I was right there watching it all play out. This could be a movie, there's no doubt about it and I can not wait to go back and read the first two, as well as check out what else this author has available.

This was awesome and I highly recommend it, it just has that feel good vibe and I just know I'll read this whole series again and again.

Ever since Karlie Kyle was a kid she has had the biggest crush on family friend Luke McKade. Now that she’s graduated college and moved back home, she’s hoping Luke will finally see her as a young woman and not a little girl.

Luke has never wanted to settle down with one woman. Unlike his happily married siblings he doesn’t see the appeal to only being with one other person for the rest of your life. Even the beautiful and tempting all grown-up Karlie can’t tame him. Knowing the attraction is there, she makes an offer of having a summer fling. He doesn’t see the harm with that, so long as no one knows about it. But as they spend time together in and out of bed, he starts to feel something more for Karlie. What happens when she is offered a job opportunity on the other side of the state? Will Luke admit to his feelings and fight for her to stay or will he let her go?

This is book 3 of The McKades of Texas series. I haven’t read the other two, but this can be read as a standalone. The other siblings, Zane and Norah, were in the book and I will now have to go back and read books 1 and 2 to see how they got their happily ever after!

I listened to the audiobook version of this book.
As a proud native Texan, I can't help but adore that this book is set in the great state of TEXAS! <3

I am not the sort that thinks cowboys/country boys are very appealing. However, this book could definitely make me think twice about it. The author writes this romance in such a way that it is super easy to fall in love with Luke too. Then, once she has you super attached to this dreamy cowboy (just like Karlie), the author nearly tears your heart out and then kindly gives it back by giving us in a happily ever after ending. It was fantastic! This is a romance that is full of emotion and passion. I am new to this author, but am now a fan of her excellent writing.

This narrator has a whole lot of talent. I think her performance was spectacular. She was able to bring out the passionate connection between Karlie and Luke as well as emphasize the perfect amounts of emotion at key points in the story. The narrator's performance easily intensified this excellent writing. This was a pleasure to listen to from start to finish.

I received a review copy at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Luke (The McKades of Texas #3) by Kimberly Lewis
4 out of 5 stars

Luke is the third book of the Mckades of Texas written by Kimberly Lewis and it’s the first book that I have read by this author. The characters are well written and it pulled me into the story with ease and held my attention to the end.

All Karlie Jo wants is a life with Luke she want him to fall in love with her and have a happily ever after she has had a crush on him forever. Now Karlie Jo is back in town all grown up and she has plans for Luke.

Luke is shocked when he realizes that Karlie Jo isn’t a little girl anymore. What surprise’s him the most is the lust he feels when he sees her again. Karlie Jo comes up with a proposition he can’t refuse because he is really happy to oblige even if it’s temporarily.

Karlie is willing to play along, for now but her heart is set on forever. As raw desire sparks something deeper, can Karlie convince Luke that rules are meant to be broken? Or will their passionate summer fling end with broken hearts instead?

This is a great read and I highly recommend it…

Luke (The McKades of Texas #3)
By Kimberly Lewis
5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by this author and what an introduction! I loved every minute of this book. It was well written, had a great pace and flow, a brilliant storyline and characters I fell in love with straight away. The chemistry between Karlie and Luke was just amazing and I knew that I would be rooting for them to get their happily ever after all the way through. I LOVED that Karlie was an almost alpha female, definitely made it interesting to read – I don’t often read stories when the female lead is so dominating but I loved it and thought that she was great. She knew what she wanted and that was Luke!
I really liked Luke too, I’m not quite sure he was prepared for Karlie but as I mention before their chemistry was amazing.
The dual point of view definitely added more to this story and probably more for Luke – I felt like I really got to understand him.
This is a definite one click recommendation from me and I can’t wait to read more from Kimberly Lewis in the future.

Luke by Kimberly Lewis is book three of The McKades of Texas. This book can be read as a standalone but it characters from books one and two show up in this book as well. I didn’t read the first two books and was able to follow along very well with the story line but I will definitely be going back to read books one and two now.

Karlie Kyle has loved Luke for as long as she can remember but she’s never been able to get him to notice. Luke runs into Karlie at a diner and can’t stop thinking about her. What he doesn’t realize is, it’s about to get harder to stop thinking about her.

Karlie and Luke decide to be together for the summer. Karlie’s heart is all in though. Will their summer end in heartbreak or will Karlie get everything she’s ever wanted?

I absolutely loved this book. It was a great story and the characters were amazing. Karlie is so strong and independent! She is truly an inspiration. I couldn’t get enough of this book and am definitely going to go back and read the first two books. I absolutely recommend this book!

Luke by Kimberly Lewis is the third book in The McKades of Texas series. I ended up going with the audiobooks which was narrated by Tiffany Williams.

If you haven't listened to an audiobook before having the right narrator is extremely important. If it's the wrong narrator then it could end up making a well written book not as enjoyable which has happened to me in the past. I'm very happy to say that this was not the case this time.

Karlie comes home after she graduates from college and one of the first people she runs into is Luke. They have known each other all their lives, he sees her as a little sister, she sees him with hearts in her eyes. Their story is very sweet and I enjoyed reading it.

Tiffany William's did a great job bringing each one of the characters their own personality. She had the Texas drawl down and I liked that like here in Texas not everyone has a thick accent.

I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Lewis and find more audiobooks narrated by Ms. Williams.

Luke: The McKades of Texas by Kimberly Lewis
4 out of 5 Stars
This book is sassy. I love friends to lovers books, but I love it even more when one is so deeply invested in the outcome of their forever.
Karlie Kyle loves Luke McKade, has for years. But all Luke sees is his mother’s best friend’s daughter. Determined to change how he sees her, Karlie returns to her hometown, to Luke family ranch to be specific, to do an internship after college. Luke is gob smacked at how just not so little Karlie is any more.
Convincing Luke to be her summer fling isn’t as hard as Karlie thought, but convincing him to be her forever….well that is going to take nothing less than a miracle.
This is a dual POV book. The flipping viewpoints allows us to see both perspectives of the story from both dynamics. Karlie is fierce and independent and knows exactly what she wants and what she will do to get it. Luke is a typical alpha, southern male who is struggling with changing his commitment phobia ways to obtain his happily ever after.
This is easily a 4 out of 5 stars!

I typically do not like Western Romance. I'm from the Northeast and sometimes Western Romance seems so exaggerated that it takes me out of the story. That is NOT the case for Luke.

Book 3 in the McKades of Texas series can absolutely be read as a stand-alone and the secondary characters with previous stories are well explained and there is never any confusion or feeling like you've stepped into a story mid-chapter.

The story is light and sweet(ish). It's low on angst and strong on family and just general good ole' romance. The characters are simply developed, there is not a ton of complexity which made it a super easy, pleasant read. The story is well plotted and has a very clear beginning, middle and end. There are other characters who intrigued me in this story (what's up with Cody?) and I will stalk to the author to see if their story gets written.

I recommend this book and happily give it 5 stars.

Luke is book three in the McKade’s of Texas series by Kimberly Lewis. I cannot believe this is the first time I have read this author's work. I will be rectifying that immediately. What a delightful story this was and I cannot begin to express the complete pleasure I experienced when I read this book.

Luke, the easy going, laid back cowboy that he is, was so enjoyable to read about. The story evolved like a slow burn, building in intensity so sweetly, I savored it like a piece of the finest chocolate money can buy. His story just moved me so intimately. So profoundly. I cannot even explain why or how. Karlie was Luke's perfect match, and witnessing their blossoming love was a sight to behold. I read until the words blurred, and thought about the characters when I wasn't reading. From start to finish, these characters owned me. The feeling of complete contentment I experienced was both beautiful and powerful. 5 stars.

Luke is the 3rd book in the McKades of Texas series and can be read as a standalone. This is the first book I've read in this series and didn't feel like I was missing something by not reading the other two but I liked it some much I want to go back and read them.

Karlie has known the McKades since she was a little girl. Her mother and the McKade's mother are best friends. She has been in love with Luke McKade since as long as she could remember. He was it for her but he only saw her as a little sister.

After college Karlie is back to do an internship on the McKade ranch and Luke is knocked on his butt on how much he wants her. Can he put his playboy ways aside and grab a hold of love?

I loved this book! It was sweet and Karlie has sass which I love. There are parts that pull your hearts strings but your heart heals in the end. Kimberly Lewis writes a beautiful seamless story. I can't wait to go back and dive into books 1 and 2!

Luke: The McKades of Texas, Book 3 By Kimberly Lewis. I read this book as a standalone without any confusion but I’m definitely going back and reading the others after this amazing story. From page one I was completely hooked and drawn into this stories world. I simply couldn’t put it down, it’s everything I was looking for in a romance story. Karlie is fresh out of college and knows just what she wants out of life and that includes who she wants to be with. Luke is a bit stunned when seeing Karlie for the first time in a while. These two characters instantly pull you into their world and I found myself forgetting I was reading. Their banter back and forth is fun to watch and their chemistry is all the charts. I love characters that have fun together. The storyline is well written and paced nicely. The characters are complex and connectable. I can’t wait to read more from this author. I’m giving this book a five star review and adding it to my read again list for sure.

This is the first book that i have listened to by this author. Even though is the 3rd book in the series , it can be listened to as a stand-alone. . You get to hear about other characters that are secondary in this one but you can guess it’s from the other two stories.

Hero is Luke Heroine is Karlie.
This is a sweet romance. You get to see what a sweet female does when she has her heart set on her hero , and her hero is Luke . Karlie comes back into Luke life all grown up . Karlie has decided to take an internship at Luke's ranch for the summer to make her resume look like she’s more trustworthy for the future. Luke can’t believe how grown up Karlie is. When Luke plays it cool , Karlie decides to go after him herself , make the first move . Grab it and see if Luke finds out how he feels about Karlie . Does Karlie's plan to go after him work .

Tiffany Williams was excellent telling this story . Her voice is strong, clear and smooth. Tiffany was a Gem

Luke :McKades of Texas, book 3 by Kimberly Lewis is the third book in the McKades of Texas series. Although this can be read as a standalone I do recommend reading the first two books in this series as well. I truly enjoyed this story I mean what's not to like, cowboys and romance and horses. This story is about Luke and Karlie. Karlie loves working with horses and she very good at.She is a smart, sassy , tomboy who has had feelings for Luke for ever. Her feelings for him have never gone away. Luke is not one whom commits to relationships or even dates. He see's the woman Karlie has grown into and he finds himself having a hard time not thinking about her.Luke finds himself having feelings he's never had before. Can these two have their HEA?I highly recommend reading this book.i cant wait to read more from this author.

Luke by Kimberly Lewis is the third book in the McKades of Texas series and offers a great in sight into the lives of Luke and Karlie.

This book offers a great love story with very steamy sections and is a girl move away, girl comes back to her home town and sees the man she gave up kind of story. Luke's character is sweet and sometimes too sweet for my liking but overall you feel his true dilemmas in certain situations.

Karlie is a smart, sassy, independent gal who I would love to be best friends with, take into account she going to make Luke's life hell with pursuit of him but this just made for a great read.

I believe this can be read as a stand alone but with the other characters and the fast pace of the book, I would accept you will be downloading the other books in this series to read.

I have only listened to about 4-5 audiobooks before I downloaded Luke. I love childhood crushes turned to adult romances so I decided to give it a go. At first I thought that I would be annoyed by the southern twang but I LOVED it and felt very connected to the woman's voice who read the book. I felt like I was right there in the story and found myself wanting more quiet time to listen to this book.
In this book you have Karlie and Luke. Karlie has ALWAYS loved Luke but she was much younger than Luke. Fast forward years later Karlie has graduated from college and ends up doing an internship at Luke's family's horse farm. Luke and Karlie start a secret relationship because they don't want to upset their families that are really close. I really enjoyed this book and now want to go back and read about the rest of the family!

Luke (The McKades of Texas #3) by Kimberly Lewis is a sweet contemporary romance story. It has a wonderful mixture of horses, cowboys, and romance. I was drawn in and didn’t want to put it down until the last page. I mean who doesn’t love a beautifully written and sexy smexy cowboy romance. The chemistry between the main characters and their undeniable attraction steam up the pages. She’s known what she’s wanted since she was little. He’s only just realised that she is no longer a little girl. I loved the teasing and the way they interact with each other and it had me laughing out loud. Of course there is a little twist that throws everything in to question but this is a beautiful romance you will not want to miss out on. I am looking forward to reading the next book in a series.

Luke is book three in the McKades of Texas by Kimberly Lewis. The book can be read as a stand alone but i will definitely be going back to read the rest! I am such a sucker for a cowboy love story and this was everything and then some. I loved everything about it! The chemistry between these characters was amazing. Karlie Jo has been in love with Luke for as long as she can remember. She is stubborn and knows she will get what she wants, she just has to play his game. The characters are witty and have the best friendship since they’ve known each other for years. I know nothing about horses but boy did I love reading about Karlie and her awesome horse training. You should read this because I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

Luke- Kimberly Lewis

5-stars

This book has been added to my list of favorite romance reads! It’s the third book in the McKades of Texas series and my first book by this author! Having said that I can honestly say that it can be read as a standalone as there was so much detail I was able to jump right in. From the very first chapter I was hooked, I loved all of the detail, the characters both main and supporting and Luke made for a perfect book boyfriend. He’s handsome, charming, hardworking, romantic and a true southern gentleman, what more could I ask for?

Now that I’ve read this one I will definitely be going to read the first two books to read more of the McKades siblings. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for their next romance read!

I did not read the first 2 books of this series but I want lost as they follow different couples.
This follows Karlie and Luke.
Karlie has been in love with Luke for as long as she can remember but he doesn't see her as anything more than the young girl she is. As they get older and Karlie graduates college, she gets an internship.
What starts out as fun for the summer turns serious and causes panic in Luke, who never wanted to settle down in life.

What a must read! I need to read the first 2 as those characters are in this book and I need to know their stories. But these two characters caught my kindle on fire a few times!
