I have to say bayou and Phoebe wasn't what I expected, the blurb was a little misleading but it only added to the excitement and I enjoyed every minute of this book. Usually you're watching one of the main characters fighting the chemistry or breaking up during the story. This story? Yeah they fight
their attraction but it's a story of real unconditional love and complete acceptance.
I have loved every single book by LLV but this one really and truly does take the cake. It's fast paced but acceptable as the characters have history.
Brielle is a wild card and I'm a little disappointed that you don't get to see more of her or what happens to change her in the epilogue.
I cannot wait for the next book.

This book resonated with me on so many levels i could relate to it so much because the subject matter is close to my heart. Bayou and Pheoby story was one full of exceptance amd understanding. The heart wants what it wants no matter age creed or disability. I highly recommend this book. It was written beautifully and Lani did it justice.

Phoebe never forgot Bayou as a fifteen year old and now that he’s back in her life because of Pru and Hoax, things come to a head!

One Chance, Fancy is the fifth book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series by Lani Lynn Vale, and this series has become one of my all-time favorites from her. Like the overwhelming majority of Lani’s other works, this book stems from another series, or two actually. While not technically a spin-off of either the Heroes of the Dixie Wardens or the Freebirds series, it does expand on them as it features both a hero and heroine who are the children (or grandchild) of characters in those series. The thing that sets Vale’s work apart from everyone else’s is that with each new book Lani releases, she builds upon those original worlds, further developing not just the characters that the current book are introducing, but older characters as well. The result for her readers is a very distinct, unique-to-Lani reading experience that is essentially the literary equivalent of a long-running, daytime soap opera—but without the infidelity and divorces. What’s even more impressive about this, though, is that Vale has somehow managed to craft her stories in such a way that new readers can pick one up at any point and ease into this inter-connected world from that book onward.

One Chance, Fancy definitely packed in the feels with a different kind of hero and the woman who fell for this unusual man as a teenager. Vale managed to capture all of Bayou’s insecurities spectacularly, and in doing so, she not only created a hero who was authentic, genuine and real, but she also gave her readers a heart-tugging, sexy and satisfying romance between a couple that readers will be rooting for from the first page in this teenage-crush-comes-to-life love story. Vale’s creativity knows no bounds, and she displayed that well here by weaving an imaginative, intriguing suspenseful arc into the storyline. Love and laughter are key elements in all of Lani’s books, and that was evident in both Bayou and Phoebe’s sexy, sweet romance and in the way that Vale copiously shared her wonderful sense of humor throughout this story. Entertaining, amusing and completely engrossing, Vale’s writing never fails to pull me in and keep me there while I devour her words. Yet another fantastic story in another fabulous series, I finished this book already longing for the next one. Five smooches from me for One Chance, Fancy by Lani Lynn Vale!

Yet another fantastic read from Lani Lynn. Think this book is truely one of my favortis from her. She never fails to amaze me with her awesome writing style and humor. This book is just awesome in everyway.

Benson Bayou Beauregard . Is just amazing if you think about what he as had to overcome and works on in this book. He stands out to me as one of the best men Lani has writin ever! He is hot as is a pretty much standard in Lanis world. Hot, beard and somehow sweet to pretty much only Pheobe Really. And that 3 year old little girl! He is very protective and in to rutine. His family is everything to him. He is protective and it is a fast pace they take WHEN they start talking really. Bayou is the Pres of the Bear Bottom Guardians . Tho we do not get to really see much of the clubs life in this book. That was fine since we still get glimses off everyone we love from the world Lani has created. I loved that! I loved when we got his pov . He was very relatable, that might make me weird. but loved it!

Now Pheobe is a little bit of a wacko. But looking at who her parents are ( Sam and Cheyenne from Boomtown . Freebirds #1 ) So she stood little change of being not a little crazy . Phoebe is an interevert to a piont. She is not very much a huge fan of big parties or being around to many ppl. Rather just stay at home with a good book or her pets. She loves her family tho she likes to push there bottons I think a little to much. She is very independed when it comes to what she has to work for. Her and Bayou have history from when they were younger. That seems to have stuck with them both. Not saying more since that would kind of be a big of a spoiler. This book was just awesome. 5 stars!
