The Terracotta Army was created during the reign of the first emperor of China's Qin dynasty (221-207 B.C.), to protect the emperor's tomb. 700,000 people probably worked on the site, near the city of Xian, for almost three decades. More than 8000 figures have been excavated so far. The tomb has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Recorded October 2015 in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100.
