First Japan Airlines A350 XWB Debuts in the Sky

Japan Airlines (JAL) is about to receive its first Airbus A350-900 which has already successfully performed its maiden flight over France.

The initial flight set the beginning of the last phase of production which includes cabin completion, as well as further ground and flight tests leading to customer acceptance and delivery.

The first A350 XWB is planned to be deployed on major domestic routes, with a three class configuration seating 369 passengers.

Altogether JAL has ordered 31 A350 XWB aircraft, comprising 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s).
