I loved this read. It was one of my first ever reads when investing in a kindle. Simon is seriously HOT. Lucky for Kara he was in love with her. He is very protective of Kara, watched her from afar but unable to get close as he believes she wouldn't be interested. He has a horrific past that he doesn't like to share and likes to do things certain ways, that is until he finds himself looking after Kara and she manages to open up his heart. He realises he can't live without her but he is set in his ways and well Kara is a stubborn woman, she is not about to be bossed around. She is very independent, losing her parents at a young age. This is a fantastic read, a beautiful love story to fall in love with. Simon is definitely MINE!. Author J.S.Scott writes the most amazing stories involving Alpha males that I am sure everyone will love.

Mine For Tonight was an amazing read. It was one of those books that left me just absolutely speechless at the end. Once I finished reading, I thought to myself, "Did all that just really happen in one book? And did I really just read all of that in one sitting?"

Kara is one strong and very independent young woman, who deals with all life's struggles on her own. Going to school and working is what her life consists of. Taking care of herself is a daily struggle.

Simon is a billionaire, who designs computer games. He's sweet, protective, and so caring. And, did I mention he's secretly obsessed with Kara?

Simon ends up saving Kara more than once from many obstacles that get thrown in her way. He's such a caring guy. Reading this book, I fell so in love with Simon's character.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves billionaires, sweet men, romance, and lust. I know I absolutely loved this book and I'm already halfway through the next one. Five, well deserved, stars!

La storia, che è stata spalmata in tre parti di cui questa è la prima, racconta le vicende di un milionario nerd molto prestante con manie di controllo e con un bagaglio di problematiche che affondano le radici nel passato, che si invaghisce della cameriera che lavora nel locale di sua madre e la tiene d'occhio per un annetto fino a quando la fanciulla non crolla in mezzo alla strada per un malore improvviso, in piena notte ed in un luogo poco raccomandabile, dovuto al super lavoro che sta facendo per potersi permettere gli studi di infermieristica. Il salvataggio arriva a proposito dato che nel frattempo la ragazza con cui la nostra eroina divide l'appartamento (e che non paga l'affitto da mesi) se l'è svignata portandosi via tutte le cose della coinquilina. A parer mio la scrittrice non poteva studiare un personaggio più jellato. E questo è probabilmente il solo motivo per cui Kara accetta l'ospitalità di Simon in cambio di un notte di passione (ma la ragazza non stava male?) ed un nuovo guardaroba. Le premesse non sono incoraggianti e non si può non avere il sospetto che lui si stia approffittando della situazione.
Siamo per lo meno di fronte ad un rapporto sbilanciato fra due persone con seri problemi e non vedo come l'aggiunta di due ulteriori parti possa migliorare l'impressione.
Poi magari a qualcuno il genere piace.....

This was a free download from Amazon and My heart was racing through this story. Kara Foster is a nursing student by day and a waitress by night working 80 hours a week. She works for Simon Hudson's mom Helen Hudson. After her parents died it has been a struggle but she was nearing her last four months of nursing school. She and Helen were friends and when Simon asked his mother about her she was concerned why. What was his intentions toward her. Simon was infatuated with her for some reason and had been for over a year, following her home many nights staying out of her sight. She was walking home from the restaurant on night and got dizzy almost falling down. Simon was watching her as usual and stepped in to help her. He took her to his condo and called a doctor who determined that she was not over her virus and needed food and rest. Simon made her stay in his guest room and had his assistant go to her apartment to get her some clothes. What she didn't know was that her room mate was evicted and she had taken every thing the Kara owned. She couldn't believe it when Simon told her and broke down. Simon a very handsome billionaire who was a computer genius developing many computer games. He had deep feelings for Kara at least he wanted her one time. And as she cried he comforted her and told her she could stay there and that he would help her but she had to quit working. Here she was in financial ruin with no place to stay and all her clothes and furniture gone. He said he wanted to help. She couldn't understand why but she sort of was stuck. Either stay with him or be homeless and drop her last four months of nurses training. She chose to stay. All she had on was his robe which he said looked better on her than it ever did on him. While in the kitchen he started kissing her and gave her the best orgasm she had ever had just using his fingers. He told her she was so beautiful and wanted one night with her in his bed but that his help wasn't contingent on that. He told her he wanted total surrender for one night. She thought about it not knowing what total surrender meant. He bought her a total new wardrobe, i pad, laptop, you name it he spent so much money on her and even put money in her bank account. She began cooking for him and one night she went to see him in his computer lab. They began talking and he let her play his newest game. Then she remembered why she went up to ask him what he wanted for dinner. He said he would join her help fix it. They did and after they ate he said he had something for her and she said no more she wouldn't take it. Then he handed her her mothers ring that her roommate had pawned. She was so grateful to him. And she sat on his lap and they began kissing. Finally she said she would take him up on his one night with her. He could not believe it. He took her to his bed and gave her one glorious night of pleasure. She felt it was a life changing experience but didn't say anything. He then carried her to her room and put her in her bed thanking her for the one night. She felt miserable . Didn't he want her anymore. End of book 1. My heart was racing so fast it hurt. I cried with Kara. Because I always insert my self in the stories and I feel what they feel. And in this case I felt what Kara felt. This is not a story for anyone under 18. It is an adult story with steamy sex scenes and will make your heart race. Great story, I loved it.
