Paul Gallagher
Paul embarked on his career as a consultant in 2007 after 15 years as a journalist. He has coached business leaders, economists, analysts, politicians and diplomats in dozens of countries around the world for media interviews and public engagements. A regular communications consultant and trainer for the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and the Thomson Reuters Foundation (TRF), Paul has worked with the World Bank, the United Nations, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) as well as with CEOs and management board executives at blue-chip companies. As a journalist, Paul reported on politics, international relations, human rights, business and finance in nine countries. He interviewed dozens of major world political and business leaders at Reuters, Bloomberg and The Irish Times, covering US Presidential visits to Europe by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. He led Reuters’ coverage of the war crimes trial of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic. He holds an MA. Paul speaks German, Dutch and French.
