PHOENIX — It's time to pull out the stars and stripes and the red, white, and blue because America's Independence Day is today!

No matter how you celebrate America's birthday, dozens of cities and towns around the Valley are hosting their own festivals that culminate with dozens of fireworks launching into the sky. If you're not planning on celebrating at home or are looking to head out to watch some fireworks with friends and family, we've gathered all the fireworks shows in the Valley we could find.

Light Up The Sky at American Family Fields of Phoenix (July 3) *FREE

Head over to the American Family Fields of Phoenix, formerly called Maryvale Baseball Stadium, on July 3, 2019, to watch a free fireworks show. There will be live entertainment and family activities. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:10 p.m. More information. More information.

Fort McDowell Casino's Red, White and Boom Celebration (July 3) *FREE

Fort McDowell will host a free Independence Day outdoor concert and a firework show on July 3, 2019. One of These Nights, an Eagles tribute band will perform from 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Fireworks will start at 9 p.m. After, The Thaddeus Rose band will perform until 1 a.m. A spokesperson said the outdoor concert and fireworks are open to everyone. Anthem Independence Day Celebration (July 3) *MOSTLY FREE

Anthem's annual Independence Day festival and fireworks will take place on July 3, 2019, at Community Park, 41703 Gavilan Peak Parkway. There will also be rides, water slides, inflatables, and festival-style food and drinks. Admission and parking are free, but the activities do come with a cost. Wristbands are $20 and will be sold at the event. The event runs 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. More information.

Celebrate America! at Pleasant Harbor (July 3) *NOT FREE

Those looking to spend a day out on the lake and watch fireworks at night may want to head up to Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant. Parking is $20 per vehicle and $50 for those hauling boats and trailers. There is also be live music, food trucks, and free kids activities. More information.

Fireworks at Hurricane Harbor (July 3 & 4) *NOT FREE

Hurricane Harbor will have two firework displays for its water park guests on July 3 & 4. The show will start around 8:45 p.m., about 15 minutes before the water park closes for the day. Daily water park admission varies between $23-$46. More information.

FreedomFest at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess (July 3-6) *NOT FREE

The Scottsdale resort will have three nights of concerts and four nights of fireworks, July 3-6, for its Fourth of July FreedomFest. The party is free for those staying at the resort. Diners who eat at one of its restaurants -- La Hacienda, Bourbon Steak, Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar or Ironwood American Kitchen -- and spend at least $75 will receive four wristbands to the concert and fireworks. Additional wristbands can be bought for $25. On July 4, there will also be a vintage air show. More information.

Fabulous Phoenix 4th (July 4) *FREE

The City of Phoenix will host its 34th "Fabulous Phoenix 4th" fireworks show at Steele Indian School Park, near Third Street and Indian School Road, on July 4, 2019. There will be two stages with music and entertainment, vendors with festival-style food, inflatables and rides for the kids, and a classic car show. The event is free and runs from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Fireworks are expected to start at 9:30 p.m. More information.

Mesa Arizona Celebration of Freedom (July 4) *FREE

The City of Mesa will host its yearly Arizona Celebration of Freedom festival and fireworks show on July 4, 2019, at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre. The free event runs 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. There will be three stages with music, an indoor laser light show (7 p.m., 8 p.m., 9 p.m.), a BMX stunt show (6:30 p.m., 7:20 p.m., 8:10 p.m.), reenactments of the Revolutionary War, and inflatable replica of famous U.S. landmarks, including the White House, U.S. Capitol Building, and Washington Monument. Tempe Town Lake Fireworks (July 4) *NOT FREE

Tempe's annual Fourth of July festival and fireworks show will take place at Tempe Town Lake on July 4, 2019. People can walk around the park, listen to music, watch dance performances, and eat and drink in the food court. There will be a kids areas with inflatables and a rock climbing wall. Admission is $7-$10. VIP tickets are available for $30-$60, plus $6 processing fees. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:20 p.m. More information.

Chandler July 4 Fireworks Spectacular (July 4) *FREE

Chandler's Tumbleweed Park will light up the sky on July 4th for its annual Independence Day fireworks show and festival. The Arizona State Fair will have games and activities for the kids, and a local radio station will take care of the music. Businesses will be there will food and drinks for sale. The event runs from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. There is no cost to get into the festival. Parking at Tumbleweed Park is $5 cash. More information.

Scottsdale 4th of July at WestWorld of Scottsdale (July 4) *NOT FREE

Those looking for an indoor and air-conditioned Fourth of July festival may want to head over to Scottsdale where its annual event will be held at WestWorld of Scottsdale, near Loop 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. This year, the event will have a "Fortnite Experience" with laser tag and Nerf gun target practice; a DJ dance party, stunt dog show, 20-foot Ferris Wheel, obstacle course, petting farm, bull riding, and appearances by Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Curious George. The festival runs from 4 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. The outdoor fireworks is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Tickets vary between $15-35, plus taxes and fees. A fireworks-only ticket is $25. Parking is $5. Fourth of Zooly at Phoenix Zoo (July 4) *NOT FREE

The Phoenix Zoo's annual Fourth of July event involves a catered barbecue dinner, animal encounters, carousel rides, bounce houses, and access to Stingray Bay, before watching the fireworks over Tempe Town Lake from the back of the zoo. The event runs from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Tickets are $35-$45 per person. The event does has sold out the last couple of years. More information.

Peoria All-American Festival (July 4) *FREE

Peoria's annual Fourth of July festival and fireworks show is free this year. It will be held on July 4 from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. at the Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Avenue. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m. There will be music from Cadillac Angels and Surfin' USA, a Beach Boys tribute band; a cornhole tournament, two water zones, and food-eating contests. Now, the kids activities -- rock wall, inflatables, mechanical bull -- are not free. Those require a $5 activity wristband. There is also a $30 VIP option, which includes special seating to watch the fireworks, a dinner buffet, private bathrooms, and access to a cash bar. More information.

Gilbert Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration (July 4) *FREE

Gilbert's annual Fourth of July fireworks show will take place at Higley High School, 4068 E. Pecos Road, on July 4 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. There will also be food trucks at the high school. The fireworks can also be viewed from Centennial High School, Legacy Traditional Academy, and the Higley Unified District administration building, according to Gilbert's website. More information.

Westgate Fireworks Fest (July 4) *FREE

People can head over to Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale for a bite to eat and then stay for a fireworks show and game. The venue will have two stages with music performances, a beer garden, water and foam zones, and games and activities from 5 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Admission and parking are free. People are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets. More information.

Surprise Fourth of July (July 4) *FREE

Those in the West Valley can head up to Surprise to watch fireworks on Independence Day. There will be music, food trucks, yard games, and contests. The free event runs from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to start at 8:40 p.m. More information.

Goodyear's Star-Spangled 4th (July 4) *FREE

Goodyear Ballpark will host Goodyear's annual Independence Day festival and fireworks show on July 4. There will be live music, inflatable waterslides, bounce houses, zip line, and carnival swings. The event starts at 6 p.m. The fireworks show is scheduled to start at 9:05 p.m. More information.

Fourth at the Fountain (July 4) *FREE

The Town of Fountain Hills will host its yearly Fourth of July fireworks at Fountain Park, the home of its famous fountain. There will be live music, bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, a DJ, and vendors selling food and drink. The event runs from 6 p.m - 10 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. People are asked to bring chairs, blankets, and food. More information.

Red, White, and Boom at The Wigwam (July 4) *FREE

The Wigwam will host its yearly "Red, White and Boom" fireworks show on July 4. There is no admission cost, but a wristband is required to play on the bounce houses and water slides. Wristbands are $12. There will be also be a DJ, and food and drink available for purchase. People can bring their own blankets, chairs and towels. The event runs 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. More information.

Maricopa's Great American Fourth (July 4) *FREE

Maricopa will host its yearly Fourth of July festival and fireworks on July 4 at Copper Sky Regional Park, 44345 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The food trucks, inflatables, water slides, and DJs are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. A motocross show will start at 7:45 p.m. Fireworks will start at 9 p.m. Admission and parking are free. An activity wristband for the water slides and inflatables are $5. New this year, people can buy a $30 permit to tailgate in the parking lot. More information.

Buckeye's Old-Fashioned Independence Day Celebration (July 4) *FREE

Buckeye will light its Fourth of July fireworks on July 4, 2019 at Youngker High School, 3000 S. Apache Road. There will be live music from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., family activities, and free watermelon. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Event starts at 6 p.m. More information.

Apache Junction Fourth of July Fireworks (July 4) *FREE

Apache Junction's Fourth of July fireworks can be viewed at Apache Junction High School, 2525 S. Ironwood. The free event starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. There will also be games, bean bag toss; a bike, wagon, and tricycle float contest, and live entertainment. Schnepf Farms Fourth of July Fireworks (July 4) *NOT FREE

Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek will host a 30-minute fireworks show on the Fourth of July. There will also be live music, and food trucks, a beer garden, and vendors with items for sale. Admission is $20 per car. That includes parking and access to the vendors and fireworks. VIP tickets are $45 per person (not per car). VIP includes access to the air-conditioned barn, a catered meal, private bar, front-row seats, and lawn games. More information.

Arizona Diamondbacks Fireworks Spectacular (July 5) *NOT FREE

Why not celebrate the Fourth of July with a hot dog, a plate of nachos, baseball, and fireworks? The Arizona Diamondbacks will host the Colorado Rockies at Chase Field on July 5. First-pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. After the game, the lights will dim for a fireworks show above the stadium. At last check, tickets start at $22. More information.

Civana's Spectacular Aerial Drone Light Show (July 6) *MOSTLY FREE

Those looking for a unique show to watch for the Fourth of July may want to head up to the Civana resort near Cave Creek and Carefree. The wellness resort is bringing back its Independence Day drone show. One-hundred custom LED-lit drones will take to the skies on July 6. The 15-minute show is scheduled to start at 8:45 p.m. It is open to both resort guests and the public. The show is free. Parking is $25 for non-resort guests, however. Resort guests who stay overnight at the resort will have special seating, unlimited wellness classes, free parking, and two tickets to the VIP Pool Party. More information.
