KLM to Extend Widebody Fleet with Two More Boeing 777 Aircraft

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands, intends to expand its Boeing 777 fleet by two more 777-300ER aircraft already placed on the order list.

The value of the new deal is $751 million at current list prices. In the statement Boeing noted that the order was previously listed as from an unidentified customer.

KLM, the world’s oldest airline, is strongly committed to Boeing aircraft. The carrier operates 29 777s, including 14 777-300ERs. It also flies 747s and the 787 Dreamliner family.
