She didn’t believe in fairy tales… until she fell for a prince.

He isn’t.
He should be as arrogant as the rich elites she despises.
He isn’t
He should be easy to walk away from.
Oh, boy, he isn’t.

My heart. Oh my heart. It cant take this kinda thing. This book. Sighs. Just wow. The words cant come. I was blown away by this story. The amazing characters. Just everything.
Leia has lead one crazy life. Trying her best to make it as normal as possible for her and her daughter after a brutal upbringing.
Prince Oliver was known as a playboy. Until he met Leia.
This story is so good. I was hooked. Totally mind blown an absolutley loved it. Book 2 needs to be out asap. 5/5.

This is the first book from this author that I have read and I enjoyed it. Oliver and Leia were such a great couple. The chemistry between them was really good. Fun royal and commoner romance who are really opposites but that doesn’t let them stop finding each other. This book does end on a cliffhanger so if you are not a fan of cliffhangers, then this is not the book for you.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

If it can happen to Cinderella, it can happen to Leia...Or can it?

For the naysayers, and I hope there aren't many - In the UK we have two very modern thinking princes' because they were raised by a 'normal' woman. Both those princes' went on to marry 'commoners', neither of their wives come from royalty or even the gentry. What Anna has written here is a believable story if you remember our current monarchy's situation.

Now, on to my review...

When we first meet Leia there is one thing that struck me the most. She's clumsy, she has a terrible dress sense, she's late, she's sassy, she's...normal! Leia is a normal and very relatable individual who I loved from the beginning. She speaks as she finds regardless of the recipient of that honesty.

Prince Oliver is cheeky, lost, not sure of his desired path in the world and craving some normal. He reminded me a lot of our Prince Harry, to be honest, and I loved him, too. He is a well thought out and rounded character.

I enjoyed the easy writing style of this book, I wanted to turn the page and find out what was going to happen next, and I haven't felt that about a story in a while. It's a story of 'what if?' but it's not all plain sailing for the couple. I absolutely got Leia and her fears. Those moments of doubt made her 'real' and I thank the author for keeping to that strategy when writing. We need retellings of some our most loved and classic fairytales but they need to be rewritten for 2019 (nearly 2020) and Ms Bloom has captured that essence perfectly. Well done, and thank you for giving me that reading buzz back. Highly recommended.

This book took me on such a wild ride. If you love a royal romance then please allow me to introduce you to Prince Oliver *swoons* On the outside this man would appear to have it all but in reality that’s not the case. Enter Leia. This girl had me laughing from the outset, she is hilarious and says exactly what she thinks, and I just loved that about her. Theirs is a story of opposites attract. Their lives couldn’t be more different, yet they couldn’t be more right for each other. I can’t wait to find out what happens in SCANDAL QUEEN.

One kiss. A first kiss. Everything. Breath stealing. Heart breaking. Soul corrupting. It tore me to pieces.

Tabloid Princess is a modern fairy tale that spun me under its spell right away. It felt real and raw, it was heartwarming and entertaining. This book has everything a romance readers heart wishes for.

I might be a prince. One day I might be king, but beneath all that I'm still only a man.

With captivating characters and a beautifully woven story Anna Bloom spins off the Tabloid Princess Duett that leaves you breathless. It's a roller coaster of emotions and happenings that keep your mind spinning and your eyes glued to the pages. A page turner par excellence.

Could I deny the prince of my heart, even if the cost was my soul...

This is my first Anna Bloom book and it will not be the last. I was utterly blown away with this story!

Tabloid princess follows Leia a single Mum who works at a charity that is very close to her heart, while she raises her daughter Daisy. Leia is clumsy and I just love her, she’s so down to earth, and I think a lot of us would identify with her. Prince Oliver shakes things up when he walks into her place of work. Leia’s reaction to him is absolutely brilliant!

Now when I’ve read of Princes in books before, they’ve always been stuck up and snobby. Oliver surprised me. He isn’t like that at all. If I could meet my own prince - he would be what I’d want!

Tabloid Princess is a real page turner I loved the twists and I loved how stubborn Leia is, and how determined Oliver is. Really enjoyed Anna’s writing style, it kept me glued to the pages, it made me giggle and tear up. Now I need more! I can’t wait for the next book. I need to know what happens next!! Five stars!

Oh, yes, yes, yes!
But no... How the hell do I review something so epic? I love and hate it when a book is this good that it literally leaves me speechless, and anyone that knows me knows that it takes a lot to shut me up, especially when it comes to a book I love. But then I get a book that knocks me on my ass, and completely blindsides me and leaves me speechless, which is what Ms. Bloom has done with Tabloid Princess... But I shouldn't have been surprised!

I went into this book knowing I would love it, I have loved each book this author has published, and this one was just as amazing as her others, if not better! I went in expecting one thing and I got something completely different. Which either way wouldn't have been a bad thing and isn't a bad thing. Once again, Anna Bloom slayed and delivers a plot so addictive, so consuming and so enticing that I couldn't put it down.

This story focuses on Leia and Oliver, and what a pair these two made!

Leia was awesome, she is a single mom, she was outspoken, she was witty, fun, honest, and not afraid to be herself and not afraid to voice what she believed in... She was someone that loved to help others and would go to great lengths to help someone in need, she lives a less than mellow life, trusting a selected amount of people and always putting others before herself. She has a past, she has baggage and there are reasons why she only trusts a selected amount of people. She truly was an amazing character, she hadn't had the best upbringing but she had turned into an amazingly strong woman that loved her daughter and others around her.

Oliver? Well damn... Firstly, Oliver is a name I LOVE LOVE LOVE :D but oh how I loved him as the hero. He's a prince, he's charming, he's sweet and he's just perfect! He is about to turn 30 and is looking for a charity to be amongst his people and he actually wants to help, so when he goes looking for one he comes across Leia's. The author didn't write this prince in as being a snobby royal prince, he was truly a man who wanted to help.

Leia does not like Royalty, she doesn't like anything to do with that world, so you can imagine what it is like once she is working with Prince Oliver. Oliver finds Leia intriguing, she isn't like others, she isn't out to impress him and she stays true to herself... Something The Prince isn't used to. But as the book progresses, the couple does too. It is certainly not an insta love, it is more of a slow burn that had me flipping page after page.

I loved how the author played these two. They are complete opposites and at first, I personally didn't think they belonged together but as it developed and they become closer, and that push and pull between the two of them only intensified, I found myself utterly obsessed with them and cheering them on! Ms. Bloom has that ability to write characters you can't help but fall deeply for and she spared nothing with this book or these characters!

I expected this book to be the typical Prince charming kind of book, but it was SO SO SO much more. It was so much deeper than that and it hit some pretty deep topics.

As I neared the end of the book I knew I needed more, and I cannot wait for book 2, I cannot wait to see where the author goes from here. One thing I do know is that I will love it and it will be as epic as book one!

This book gave me all the feels! It was happy and fun in some parts and other parts it tugged at my heartstrings. If you are a fan of Tears of... series, I highly recommend this book!

Absolutely slayed it!

6 Stars, 5 is not enough!!

I’m in love. I’m in mad, crazy love with a hilariously funny, feisty young woman called Leia, who against all the odds is living her best life, helping others & navigating her way through her own brand of crazy AND one swoon worthy Prince called Ollie, who by a surprise turn of fate, learns that the life he is living, is nothing but a bland palette of grey, waiting to be brought to life by a walking, talking explosion of colour.

Their story from start to finish is so much more than I could have wished for. Flawlessly funny, heart achingly emotional & sweet & sexy to boot. I loved how their personalities sparkled when together, I loved how they both discovered that life could be better if you were brave enough to take chances, but mostly I loved how much their genuinely loving, caring nature’s shone so brightly from the pages.

Anna has done an amazing job & bringing their story to life, making you feel their highs as well as their lows & so effortlessly lets you get swept along in their fairytale. Now I can’t wait for book 2, to see how their story ends & if my man of the moment & the girl of his dreams gets their utterly deserved HEA.

This is my first story by this author and I'll definitely be looking for more. We meet single mom Leia who is stubborn but strong and smart. And we meet Oliver, also known as Prince Oliver, future king. He's charismatic, handsome, and once we get to know him, completely taken with Leia. Their chemistry is very back and forth and I just wanted to shake them to get them moving along faster.

The story for me moved kind of slow, but when it picked up, I couldn't believe how things turned out. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more.

Anna Bloom writes the most amazing stories and Tabloid Princess is up there with my top favourite reads. I don’t think I can write a review that will give this book the justice it deserves. I want to talk to you about everything I have just read but I can’t because I don’t want to spoil a single thing for you, so instead I am sitting here trying to put the words together that tell you just how much I adored this story without spoilers. Tabloid Princess is incredible, and I desperately want you to read this and experience all the emotions that I have felt whilst devouring this wonderful story.

The story focuses on two main characters Leia an Oliver.
Leia – I adore this young woman. I love that she isn’t afraid to voice her beliefs and opinions which are often aimed towards helping others, and she remains true to herself by never changing to be someone other than who she is. She puts others before herself and leads a quiet life only trusting a handful of people who are close to her and when you read the book you will discover why.
Oliver – Anna Bloom certainly knows how to write a leading man that I can’t help but fall in love with. I absolutely adore Oliver. OMG you must meet him and I dare you not to fall for him too!!

What I really enjoyed throughout the whole book is the couple’s interactions. I often found myself sitting with a huge smile on my face whilst reading scenes when they were together. I loved this!! I also found that I couldn’t stop thinking about the story when I was away from my kindle - it had that effect on me. I was intrigued to find out more about the characters and desperate to find out what happens next with them both. There are lots of obstacles for the couple to overcome in order for them to find their HEA together which you will discover as their story unfolds. This is an emotional roller coaster ride that you must embark on, and I promise you won’t regret it. I’ve laughed, cried, my stomach has been in knots and my heart has been broken too….. it is perfect!!

If you have read any of this author’s previous work you know that you are in for a real treat. As I said in the first line of my review, this book is now up there with my top favourite reads and one that I definitely recommend to you. Enjoy every single page….. I know that you will.

What can I say? Complete and utter perfection. Leia was such a great heroine, spunky and outspoken, and Oliver was pure dreamy!!! I read this book on a weekend away and read every chance I got, even hiding in the corner in the middle of a big author event, this book (and the great company) was the highlight of my weekend.

I’m seriously swooning all over just thinking of this story. It couldn’t have been any more perfect. Anna Bloom has mastered the ability to write books that keep you gripped, make you laugh, have you falling head over heals in love, and leave you desperate for more. I’ve loved a lot of books by this author, but Tabloid Princess is without a doubt my absolute favourite!

While have I waited so long to read Anna Bloom ?? I really don't know.. but I wish I hadn't!!
This book has everything... I was chuckling pages in and continued to love everything about it until I turned the last page !
Ollie.. is to die for ! Prince charming at the extreme, willing to risk it all for his very own Princess Leia.
Clandestine meetings can't keep the press away and Leia feels the heat as they ramp up their pursuit to try to get a story causing her to push away the only man who has ever broke through her very own castle walls built to protect her and Daisy.
What is in most people's mind a fairytale, was brought to life in this story.
Lots of funny, angsty, steamy moments together make this a fantastic read and I cant wait to read the next instalment !!
Now to go read some more Anna books !!

Oh my goodness this book is just my perfect cup of tea. I absolutely adored it and cannot wait for book 2. This is the story of Leia a working-class girl who evidently has a lot of baggage, and the heir to the throne, Prince Oliver. The premise of the story is one that you might consider you'd read or heard before, but Anna Bloom surpassed any expectation I had for this storyline. Her writing of these two characters is perfection. I felt Leia's pain and anxiety about her past, her present, and her possible future and loved her funny, feisty character all the more for it. As for Prince Oliver, he was one of the most swoon-worthy heroes that I have read in a long time. He wasn't an in your face, alpha, troubled, angry male he was exactly how he should have been - strong, loyal, loving and sexy, and yet still came across as regal. Anna's characterisation of both main characters was impeccable and I couldn't help but fall in love with both of them. Theirs has the ability to become one of the greatest book love stories ever written, but we can only wait and see in book two as book one is left with an open ending. Also, don't be fooled into thinking this is just a love story, because Anna has included some serious issues in this book, and it's evident she has garnered a great deal of knowledge due to the quality and detail of her writing. For me, this is one of my favourite reads of 2019. It's not only an emotional read but it's funny too and I urge you to read it. A definite 5 stars.

I'm still unsure how to rate this book but I've definitely loved and enjoyed this read! It's also a story that makes you dream of something more, about a fairytale romance that seems to not always be out there for everyone but if and when you find it, it's something worth fighting for! I loved the easy chemistry between Leia and Oliver and I am so anxious to read the next one 'cuz I'm dying to know what happens next...

Leia has been through a lot and is trying the best she can to do the everything to provide for her daughter. She doesn't have much time for anything else and doesn't trust easily. When Prince Oliver comes into her life, there's something underneath that makes her feel things she hasn't felt in a really long time. Even though there seems to be something more than chemistry between them, Oliver is still a Prince and next in line for the Throne but you can't deny with you feel and it'll get harder for both of them to keep their distance. Will they find a way or will everything fall apart around them?...

WoW, just WoW. I loved this book. It brought me everything that I loved in my stories. Romance but not the obvious one, and this was the one that brought to me all characters that were not what they seemed at first.
Leia is a girl that wants to live her own life and raise her daughter to be the best person she can be. But coming from not the best background can be a deal-breaker in it. She thinks all royals don't know what is going one where charity is needed the most. When she met Prince she will maybe try to help him to raise awareness of the problems, but will she manage to pay the price?
This is not an easy story or romance, it's complex and has many layers that are needed in every story as it brings it to life.
I need nook 2 ASAP!

I have to say this book held me captivated from the first chapter! I love Leia her character is spunky, strong and so many other things I can’t find the words for. Ms. Bloom made this book believable and fun . I loved every conversation that Leia had with co workers Nana Bill and of course Prince Oliver. I was upset when I actually had to put it down to go to sleep. I would recommend this book to all of my friends. I’m eagerly waiting for Scandalous Queen. Thank you Anna for giving me the opportunity to read and review this Awesome book!

Another winner from Anna Bloom. I love the way she writes, making you feel connected to the characters from the very first page. Leia was fabulous - feisty, strong and a fantastic mother to her little girl. She's learned never to expect a fairytale ending in life... until she meets Prince Oliver.

Ah, Oliver. He's perfect. He's a prince who cares, can cook and best of all he falls for Leia the first time they meet. But this is a real tale of opposites attracting -- and as the book continues we're left wondering whether the two of them can build a bridge between their very different worlds, or if the forces trying to pull them apart will win.

A five star read for me!

This is a real 'what if?' scenario here - a prince, next in line for the throne, and a commoner - not even a well educated commoner, but someone that has to think carefully about how she spends her money, a charity worker, with a difficult upbringing. What if a prince were to meet and fall for a girl like Leia? How on earth would it work? The press would go mad for this story wouldn't they? Anna Bloom has made this unlikely scenario a possibility, and put herself in Leia's shoes to write an amazing and thought provoking book. To me, the monarchy are there, but I never really think about the difficulties they face in trying to live their lives. Sure there's no money issues, but they don't get to live a life for them, a private life. Prince Oliver has been groomed to be the next king all his life. And Leia has struggled all through her life.
Leia has lots of preconceived notions about Prince Oliver. Until she meets him, and gradually discovers he's not the man portrayed in the papers.

Like the press, and 'the people' I'm keen to know more about this unlikely couple. Hurry up with Scandal Queen Anna Bloom!

Sigh.

Another Anna bloom book, another guy I fall hopelessly in love with.

We meet leia, a single mum to a feisty little 6 year old, who works for a charity, the very charity that saved her life. It’s in need of more publicity which is when we meet our dashing prince. Prince Oliver.
Rather than been stuck up, stuff and unapproachable, prince Oliver is quite opposite. He wants to help, and when leia tells it like it is he listens and helps!

But obviously been a royal everything he does is scrutinised, so when it’s seen that he is getting closer to leia the media start digging around to find out anything they can.

Leia just wants to protect her daughter from how cruel and unforgiving the world can be. So makes a decision that she feels is the best for her and her daughter.

But is it the right one?

Pre warning it does end on a cliffhanger and I am already chomping at the bit to get the next one!

I was given a copy of this book by the New Adult Book Club and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.

‘Tabloid princess’ is the first book that I read from the writer Anna Bloom. She’s totally new to me.
I will be honest here and say that the first time that I read the blurb I thought that it was another royal romance story. This genre seem to be popular at the moment but after reading a few positive posts about this book, I got curious. So when I got the opportunity to read a copy of it, I took it. And I’m so happy that I did because I loved every second of it and I can’t wait to read the next book!!

The story pulled me in from the first page and it held my attention until the last page. It’s very easy to read and I enjoyed every minute of it. In theory, Leia is no match for prince Oliver but then theory never deals with emotions, hope and longing and that’s what happens when these two people from very different statuses meet. Prince Oliver is surprised and fascinated with Leia honesty and no-nonsense attitude and Leia feels something that she has never felt before for a man. But she knows that a prince would never fall for a girl like her. But she underestimated the prince’s fascination (or his obsession) with her. And the more she tries to push him away, the more he pushes back to get closer to her. But they have to be careful, not only for the press who’s watching them but also for Leia’s daughter Daisy’s heart and feelings. The odds are against them but sometimes you have to follow your heart.

OMG! I enjoyed this story so much!! This story is told from Leia’s POV. I liked her character very much. She speaks without thinking, she’s honest, clumsy and I loved all that! She may be young but she’s very adult and a good mother for her daughter. The chemistry between her and prince Oliver was intense. Prince Oliver is a great character too. He’s the perfect mix of good, protective, patient, dependable and calm with a touch of glamorous. And he was so sweet to Daisy (Leia’s daughter).

The story does end with a cliffhanger. But I knew that before I started this story. I’m so looking forward to the continuation of Leia's and Oliver's story.

This is a modern Fairey tale about a royal family that reminds us of the English royal family but so much better than the real one
About a prince falling in love with a common
About a struggling single mom meeting the crown prince falling in love with her and about a handsome prince wanting to leave his image and really make a difference
It also touches with subjects as drug addiction, class distinctions and monarchy being transformed to be relevant to the people and making a change

I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed reading this duet
No – it is not free of clichés and no – it is not very realistic but it is a lot of fun and much better than what we see in the monarchy of Britain in real life

"I don't want to be a foot wrong for you."

Tabloid Princess was my introduction to new-to-me author Anna Bloom. I admit that the synopsis was very intriguing and I just had to read more.

Leia had me giggling immediately with her sass and lack of filter. She is 100% real and doesn't hold back. I kinda think that's what attracted Oliver as well. He's so used to brown-nosing, bowing and scraping that he never knows what's real. She's real...but off-limits.

The forbidden aspect of this story kept me anxious and worried about Oliver and Leia. I wanted them to have a chance to explore their attraction for each other. But, damn, what a crock of chaos they had to avoid to even get a few minutes together. You'd think the fear of discovery would make it not worth the risk. But that's only because you haven't felt their chemistry. Yeah, just getting them in the same room together had sparks flying between them that even I felt. I can understand how all the details would get lost in their brain fuzz at being together.

I really enjoyed this peek into their lives and the mind-boggling hurdles they'd have to jump in order to be together. Not sure if I'd survive it. Not sure if they will either. The only way to find out if they do is in Scandal Queen, releasing November 28th. 😉

Not all Cinderella's want to go to the ball and not all prince charmings get to rescue their chosen Princess, especially ones who don't want to be rescued.

Tabloid Princess is a rag's to riches story or it has the potential to be. A British Royal modern romance, set in the UK.

Leia Lawrence has spent the last seven years protecting herself from a traumatic childhood, Leia dedicates her life helping those less fortunate, hoping to give someone a chance for a fresh start just like someone once helped her.
Leia isn't looking for love, she isn't a dreamer or a woman on a mission to find true love, Leia is just a young woman happy to be alive with food on the table and a roof over her head. Leia spends all her time with her daughter when she isn't working at the charity organization, the same organization that once helped her, she is content with life and not looking for anything more, until her path crosses with the heir to the throne.

Prince Oliver is approaching his 30th birthday and is looking for a charity to promote, he wants to help those less fortunate and get out into the world be among his people, this brings him to the workplace of Leia.

Leia hates anything pompous, she isn't exactly a Royal fan so when Leia and Prince Oliver first meet it's not exactly the greeting prince Oliver usually gets.

Oliver is immediately attracted to Leia, he finds her refreshing, basically, she doesn't kiss ass and he likes that about her.

I loved the development in Leia and Oliver's relationship, the slow-burn, the swoon-worthy hotness of Oliver, the push and pull, the content was definitely a page-turner.

Tabloid Princess has the same feel as Tears Of Ink from Anna Bloom so if you have read that and loved it then you will definitely enjoy this royal Romance. This isn't a standalone, it doesn't finish with a major cliffhanger either but It does leave you wanting a heartwarming hea, the rags to riches story and more swoon from Oliver but there are a lot of hurdles to overcome before these two characters get there and I am looking forward to it.

Tabloid Princess is told in first person dual pov and the characters story continued in book 2

This book is an absolutely gold-mine!! It’s ‘utterly’ fabulous, hysterically funny and extremely addictive. I could sit here and read it all over again and laugh in the same places, swoon in the right places and sob in certain places. Boy, was this book a mega rollercoaster!

Absolutely adored Leia though at times she did act a little like a stroppy teenager which made me roll my eyes. But I can also understand, her background is daunting and upsetting and she wants to keep Daisy safe. BUT... I also think she’s a little melodramatic about everything. Still love her... she’s definitely my spirit woman.
Now Prince Oliver.... anyone got a fan? You’ll need it. This guy is like no other prince; not only is he spectacularly good looking, but his caring manner and big heart really hit me square in the chest.

I need more of these characters as this book was left ‘open ended’.... crisis of the century, because I want to know what happens next.

This is the first book I’ve had the pleasure to read from Anna Bloom and I’m wondering why the hell I’ve never read her work before. She has a wonder style, definitely knows how to word things and make it funnier than I think intended. One of the most talented authors I’ve ever read.

BUY THIS BOOK!! I promise, you’ll not be disappointed and you’ll have a wicked time reading Leia’s craziness and everything that comes with it!

Bring on the next book!

As a little girl, I often wondered what it would be like to meet a prince. As an adult, I think I would run a mile; who wants that kind of constant media attention?

When Leia meets Prince Oliver, she tried her hardest to push him away to protect herself and those closest to her, and who could blame her after she’s slagged off in the papers and followed by paparazzi?

Anna Bloom weaves a wonderful tale of romance, angst, and everything in between.

I just have one question: when’s the next one out??
