About this ebook

A bad boy. A good girl. A second chance that could send them both up in flames.

Emily was a cop's daughter, and I was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. At eighteen, our affair was wild and completely secret. Until she left town for college and a better life, and I hit the road to nowhere.

Eight years later, we're both back in town. My father is in prison; she's selflessly helping her sister. We should be farther apart than we've ever been. But I've never been able to resist temptation, especially when that temptation is Emily.

I shouldn't go near her. But I do.

She shouldn't say yes. But she does.

Our chemistry is hotter than ever, but she’s hiding something from me. Just like I’m hiding something from her. It’s hard to tell whose secrets are more dangerous, until it all goes to hell.

I can save her - and she can save me. But we’ll have to break the rules.

We're from different worlds. We don't belong together.

But in the end, Emily and I are going to have to get dirty.

I hate how erotic books always start their relationship with sex. Also, why is it that when women see a handsome man, they always think about sex? Everything is not about sex. They always seem to be horny when just looking at the person. I see handsome men sometimes and sex doesn't scream in my head. Please write a book that describes their relationship more emotionally instead of physically. Books that shapes the couple for who they are, where they come from, and who they hangout with. Not about books with just sex at first. Also, i hate how all the main guys in erotic books always seem so rugged and caveman like. That is not really what a woman like. They like guys who are gentle, sweet, a gentlemen, etc. And, lastly, no more blonds or white people. Not everyone is white here. It would be good to have people of color. Not all of the characters have to be POCs, but white people are fine too. Just not blondes. Everyone is not blonde.

Good character development. Plot is sound. Unsure if all problems are solved by the "solution" to the climactic (no pun intended) moment, but then the book would have been longer and a totally different beast.

The story line is fine. Except for Emily's part, I finally skipped parts of obsessing and repeating. It became monotonous. Better idea could have been a great book.
