My reactions while reading this book: 😍😂🥺
Let me say at first that I usually take notes while reading so I can write a proper review (if you can call that a review 😅) but I didn’t do that with this book because I just wanted to finish it and I didn’t waste any time with taking notes.
Before I start writing why I loved this book so much I need to mention that, unfortunately, for the first half of the book I had a hard time to place everything chronologically because until 50% the story overlaps with the previous ones. But thankfully that didn't make me enjoy it less!
Now to all the things that made me enjoy this book so much. First of all, Maddie was my favorite of all the Corrigan sisters, and I really wanted to read her story for the very first start. I love how sassy, rebellious she is, and how she always gets what she wants. As for Liam I wasn’t sure if I liked him or not before reading this book, he was pretty much indifferent to me. Well, that completely changed now. He is such a gentle soul even if that isn’t obvious in the previous books but in order to save Maddie and his friends, he goes through hell…
I loved that we get to see more of their story back when Maddie is seventeen and every other incident between them that wasn’t mentioned in the previous books. Their chemistry is off the charts and I’m really glad that this wasn’t as slow burn as the previous ones because I was really sick of it. I loved that Maddie was mature when things didn’t go as expected and I really adore Liam for being so protective of her all the time in a brother-sister way but also as a jealous non-boyfriend. They're my favorite couple and I can’t wait to see more of them in Always Yours.
It’s definitely the best book in the series so far and it was really worth the wait! Five stars without any doubt!
P.S.: Can I just say how badass Liam’s job is? If I could get a job just like his, believe me I would.
