Zeke has been a favourite since book one. I'm a sucker for the quiet, determined guy. I don't need my heroes to be alpha in an obvious way - I'm much more intrigued by the hard working, seemingly closed off characters. It didn't hurt he was all kinds of delicious. And Gabby - well she's my kind of romance heroine. Not your cookie cutter perfect bombshell - she's a real woman, with scars - both physical and mental. Together they were just what the other one needed!
I loved the slow burn feel of this one, the banter and friendship was so genuine I found myself smiling for a lot of the book. The heat level is lower than I usually read but it didn't matter. This book was sweet enough that I was hooked anyway & there was no doubting their chemistry at all! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a college sports romance with some heart.
Loved being to catchup with all the characters from the previous book. Look forward to hearing what happens with Nathan next. I was so sad for him this book as he is so sweet and fun.
This series is hands down the best basketball romance novels I have ever read. Shockingly I am not even a great fan of the sport, but Rebecca has such a way with her words that I might even watch a game every now and then.
Zeke has been a bit of a man of mystery in the first two books, so it was great to finally get to know him.
And I was even more excited that Gabby would be his heroine. If there was ever a character that deserved a HEA it was definitely her.
I enjoyed that they became friends first. Zeke's only desire was to make the NBA draft, but the quirkiness and cuteness that is Gabby made him think he didn't have to have such a singular focus.
This series also has such a great cast of characters. To say that I am happy that Nathan's story is up next is a vast understatement. I cannot wait for his book!!
This whole series so far has been fun and super entertaining to follow. Since the first book, Zeke, the man of few words intrigued me because he simply was that... a man of few words. But it was great getting to know him through the eyes of his friends, because now seeing him through Gabby and through his point of view, you get the ‘fun guy’ behind the few words... and appreciating his humble character.
I loved and enjoyed this book and how #Zebby’s story started. Gabby was definitely the right person to bring more out of Zeke. And seeing Zeke’s character progress throughout their little adventures was so much fun to see.
Loved the secondary characters and their parts in this story. Overall, you gotta get in with this swries, this book because it’s been fan-freaking-tastic. Can’t wait for Nathan’s book. RJ is fricken amazing and you all need to just ONE CLICK away!
Volunteered to read an arc for my honest opinion.

First I have to say that you have to read The Assist before you can read this one. I feel like there is some backstory that is needed for this one. But holy slow burn. Gabby and Zeke were so sweet. They both had scars that they were trying to overcome - Gabby's were physical and Zeke's were emotional. But they both helped each other grow and overcome them, even if Zeke didn't know that he needed to do that. I am usually not a big fan of the slow burn but in the case of Gabby and Zeke it was perfection. I loved how much fun these two had together . . . Gabby's list was a riot and I loved how Zeke was always there to help and indulge her. He tried to play it off as an obligation to Blair but as he found out later it was really only because he wanted to spend time with Gabby. Gabby and Zeke were super sugary sweet and I adored every second of their slow burn journey to NBA happiness.
