The Rooftop Crew #2

This is the second book in the rooftop crew series by Piper Rayne and leads of where book one in the series finished. To me I feel this book is almost a forbidden love story / finding yourself type book, and I loved it. If you haven’t read book 1 you can still read this book but I would recommend reading book 1 first.

Sierra Sander who is one of the main characters in this book who in the beginning is coming to terms with the fact that her best friend is now dating her ex. Whilst she is over him she is struggling to be around them together still, so when she gets the chance to go on a date with a prince. Why wouldn’t she take the chance, specially if it’s the prince she been secretly following for years.

Adrian Marx is the Prince of Sandal and the next heir to the throne, and with that comes obligations. So when he gets to meet the women whose won a date with him, Sierra is the last person he expects. But what he also doesn’t expect is the connection they have from the get go.

I loved this book, and now all I can say is bring on book 3 The Rival Roomies.

I must admit, I didn't think that Sierra could be fully redeemed for me after what happened in the first book of this series. I didn't know whether I liked her or disliked her. But by the end of this book I was on Team Sierra! Once again, Piper Rayne have given me a book I completely fell for.

The characters drew me in, I loved them! My heart ached when Sierra's past come to the front, and that letter!!! I am just so glad that things picked up for her, and she was finally able to be happy. Adrian stole my heart from the start. He is so sweet towards Sierra, well after the initial meeting, which by the way was funny! This couple was all hot and steamy and captivating me with every page.

I am SO looking forward to the next book. I can't wait to see what happens for Rian! I am addicted to this author's writing and I personally don't think i will ever get enough.

A Royal Mistake is book 2 in ‘The Rooftop Crew’ Series; i couldn’t wait to get my hands-on Adrian and Sierra’s story.

Win a date with a Prince every girls fantasy, until you meet the Prince and he isn’t at all what you thought. Adrian was not interested in this date until he met Sierra and got to know her; he never wanted to be King especially if that meant he had to marry someone he didn’t love his parents being a shining example of that. Giving up everything for true love without putting his siblings or anyone he cares about in a position they don’t want might be the hardest choice he has ever made.

I personally really enjoyed this story, after meeting Sierra in book 1 she has redeemed herself and we finally get the real Sierra. I am looking forward to reading book 3 ‘The Rival Roomies’; Dylan & Rian’s story.

What a prince of a guy! Truly, Prince Adrian Marx is one of the good guys. He is extremely sexy and gorgeous to boot. He treats his woman like the princess she is. Sierra actually won a date with the prince and she was surprised by his lack of decorum. He was dressed in sweatpants no less and a t-shirt but he also had cheese crumbs on his hands as he was just playing a video game across the phone line with his little brother and eating cheese crackers. After a few moments he left and came back looking like his princely self.

Sierra is surprised when they actually run away from their guard and take a trip through NYC that neither had ever seen. It was fantastic. Love how Piper and Rayne wrote these characters with so much emotion and feeling. Sierra's past of being without a mom due to her death in the Iraq War comes front and center as well. She has some well earned emotional baggage where her mom is concerned.

The Rooftop Crew is also ever present in the story. You get to read of all their fun and adventures in this story and get a little more into the whole gang of characters.

This truly is a fairy tale story with loads of love and fun. YOU will love this story just as much as I do. Quite the romantic comedy of the year so far. Will have to read more about these two and the rest of the Rooftop Crew in book #3. Enjoy reading A Royal Mistake (The Rooftop Crew #2) by Piper Rayne.

At first: I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could!
Another book by Piper Rayne which blew me away. Again I went through every emotions ... the chapter with the letter got me sobbing.

I didn't like Sierra in My Bestie's Ex. Yes, she got her reasons why she acted as she acted, but it's been no reason for me.
Under her behavior she is also an unsure and wounded person who grew up more alone without parental lead. As we know, her mom died and her father fell into a deep depression because of that.

Prince Adrian Marx, out heir to the crown, doesn't want said crown. He never wanted it and would rather live the average life.
In the epilogue of My Bestie's Ex we read, that he wanted to move in while Blanca moved out. It's been so adorable how he tried to fit in and how he slowly fell in love.

Yes, it's been insta attraction but also kinda slow-burn.

I highly recommend this book to you and can't wait for Rian's and Dylan's book.

Okay I might not have been the biggest fan of Sierra from the previous book but I am now her number one fan!

So Sierra is a huge fan of Prince Adrian and after winning a date with him can't wait to meet him! When she first claps eyes on him in the flesh it's anything but love at first site. But Adrian being the charming prince he is soon wins her over.

Well delve into Sierra's past and you understand her more and got a bit emotional reading it.

Adrian is a reluctant prince, he doesn't want to be King, just wants to be a normal guy.

Piper Rayne have another winner on theirs hands and I can not wait to read the next one in the series.

This was a cute story.

Sierra (the mean girl from the last book) has won a date with a prince.
Yes, a real prince. Someone she has followed for years. Someone she knows everything about (or at least she thinks she does.)

The last thing Prince Adrian wants to do is go on a date with a stranger. But he does it because it's for a good cause.
What he did not expect was that Sierra was not an average girl. She was an above average girl. An amazing girl.

After a night of fun, Adrian decides he needs a break from his prince life before everything changes.
2 months. That's what he asks his parents for. 2 months to be normal.

But how is he going to do that? Where is he going to live?
Well..... just so happens Sierra needs a new roommate.

What could go wrong? They can just be friends right? It's only for 2 months.... no one will catch feelings.... or will they?

But then a surprise shows up.... Adrian's fiancée.
How will thing change everything?

I enjoyed this story.
I liked how they tried to just be friends but... we all know how that always ends.
I liked the banter between the two of them.
We knew a twist was coming because of the blurb of the book but we did not know how we would get there and what would happen after.

Now onto the next book.
