Rebecca Sharp nailed this new release in the most glamorous way.

Ready To Run was a fantastic love story that showed us, once again, how fear can makes us forget about the future.

“Sometimes mistakes only look like they set us back, when really they are putting us back on the right track.”

Thea is the representation of all girls who are growing up and try to find themselves in a world where expectations are more import than what we really want for our lives. It seems like love and marriage are not in the cards for her until she meets Oliver, a successful and handsome, billionaire, in the most unconventional way (I’m still cracking up because of it lol). Soon, Thea will find out if it’s time to face the demons of her past or keep running like her live depends on it.

I honestly think Rebecca did an excellent job, giving a well-defined personality to Thea. I saw an empowered woman in her. Someone who made a name of her own despite not having her Happy-Ever-After. Sometimes fear hold us back and no matter how old you are or how successful you can be, if you don’t make peace with your mistakes, you definitely won’t be able to move forward. Thankfully, for Thea, a wakeup call was just around the corner or let’s just say, something pink had A LOT to do with that transformation lol.

“This is forever”

Oliver was a magnificent character. He was capable of building an empire from scratch but he was also a devoted father that wanted the best for his daughter. A daughter that also has to learn to find her own happiness, which lead us to Oliver and Thea that have to plan the perfect wedding for her but the end result will definitely surprise everyone involve.

I adored Oliver, even when he was in full, dominating and demanding mode, he was a man that did everything in his power to get what he wanted, especially if he wanted Thea. But he also learns that money can’t buy everything. Not even forgiveness.

Oliver protects what he loves and his undeniable love for Thea is palpable from the beginning, making this story more appealing for the readers.

As usual, Rebecca Sharp delivers a story that resonates with strong life messages that encourages us to keep searching for happiness no matter how painful the path can be.

Nothing that is worth fighting for is easy or simple. That’s what I’ve learned with Ready To Run.
I'm very pleased with this RomCom and also happy that the author was inspired by her favorite country songs. Music is a vital part of this storyline.

5 shooting stars!!!

Now I will be the first to admit, I am not a big country music fan.  That being said I was so glad that I push that feeling aside when I was given the opportunity to read this story!

This is a fresh, fun take on a country song!  (And I actually kinda like the song too!)

This is the story of Thea (Dixie) and Oliver.

Thea is a powerhouse of her own making! She is at the top of her career as a wedding planner.  I loved reading her back story on how she became to be the person she was.  It was a tragic back story, but it made me admire this character all the more. To be bombarded and "thrown under the bus" by the people that she should have absolute trust in have made her into the person she has become.

Oliver is the absolute king of his kingdom.  Unfortunately, that also makes him a bit of an autocrat.  But when he meets Thea, he sees a whole new world of possibilities and a future.

I loved the tenaciousness of Oliver, I loved the spunkiness of Thea.

This story is full of humor, heart and heat!  I couldn't put it down until the very end and then I was sad to see it over!  Get your hands on this!!

I loved this Rom-Com and Oliver Kingsley!

Thea is a wedding planner. In her way to a bachelorette party, she met Oliver Kingsley. That first encounter was so funny and unexpected. Thea helped others to get their happy ever after but she couldn't find her. But Oliver Kingsley wanted to give her one of her own. This swoony and devoted single dad will steal your heart as conquered mine.

I enjoyed this book. I loved every funny, cute, romantic and steamy moment with Oliver and Thea. It was very entertained and a fun read. A beautiful crafted story about how to overcome fears to be with the right guy.

This is a standalone in the Country Love Collection. Next book is Fastest Girl in Town: A Standalone Romantic Suspense, and releases on March 26. Tequila: A Second Chance Romance, is part of this collection and is available now. All books are in Kindle Unlimited.

***Highly Recommended.***

This book is comedic gold!
I haven't laughed so hard about a book since ever, I think. I laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes, because so many things were so funny. I loved the lively way the author told her story and made the characters come to life.
I loved Thea and her worries and dreams and the way she slowly thawed towards Oliver. I loved how Oliver changed his demanding ways and asked for her and I absolutely ADORED Jillian's development and her worries. I hope she gets her own book!
I had to listen to ready to run after I finished this book (my first time, since I normally do not listen to that kind of music) and it fits the story perfectly. I really love how the author managed to make the story fit the song and vice versa.
The writing style was good and easy to read, a welcome change from the books I read before. It was easy to immerse myself into the story and I hated to part with the characters.
I cannot wait to see what the author comes up next with. This one was great!

Ready to Run is a standalone romantic comedy story by Rebecca Sharp which will almost make you pee your pants. It did mine and the chances were so rare but….. Let’s not embarrass myself furthermore and start up with the contents of this story. I was intrigued with TEQUILLA, the first story in Country Love series and since then, I had been pining this along. RTR was a pleasant surprise, it was light and tight, all fun and ogling.

I sincerely enjoy stories where the woman in picture is adamant of denying her feelings for the man yet giving in every time he touches her and the man – oh the alpha goodness can’t be ignored. RTR made a huge havoc in my TOP READS chart. Ms. Thea Winston has fled three marriages until now – all for different reasons. Few years later, she has become the famous wedding planner who can make you fall to her knees right away with her ideas. Enter a hilarious incident on the streets and you’ve your sexy – charming and oh so delicious man, Mr. Oliver Kingsley. From the moment they meet, sparks fly. Hell, the buildings rage and shy away but these both are unknown to each other’s identity. When they finally meet again, it is for the business purpose – Oliver is the father and the richest billionaire in New York who wishes the best of best services and a wedding planner for his daughter. And so, their story begins to unfold… Pretty, right?

Nope. It was every bit of Sexy, Hilarious, Steamy, Spontaneous and Fun Joy Ride to a HEA. Oliver easily crossed all my points for being a daddy boyfriend *kinky* and Thea – damn, that woman bites. Bites hard. Their personalities were so clashing, if Oliver is used to getting what he wants then Thea doesn’t settle for anything less than what she deserves, at least not the way Oliver demands things. And man, does he fail miserably. He seemed like a lost, confused potato often trying to merge his feelings for Thea to be nothing.

The scenes were up to date and new for me. Their banters and bickering were to live for, really. I thoroughly enjoyed READY TO RUN and I’m already to run for further novels by Dr. Rebecca Sharp. The writing technique was so easy on eyes, I could go on and on reading and never get bored, even once. The story was tight and binding enough for readers to stick to their Kindles. The sexual scenes, although very limited were present in all its glory. I couldn’t complain for more because the intimacy these characters shared was glowing. Impetuous. Exclusive. Even a kiss fluttered butterflies in my stomach, what would have happened if they constantly touched each other? No comments!!
For me, RTR easily topped the 5 Star Scale in no time. I can’t wait to read Fastest Girl In Town by Sharp, the third book in this collection.

Ready to Run by Rebecca Sharpe. This is a whimsical tale of Dixie Dorothea Winston who after leaving 3 different fiancee's at the altar leaves her small town in Alabama for the bright lights of New York city where she reinvents herself as Thea Winston wedding planner extraordinaire. Oliver Kingsley is use to getting his way. He is the master of wall street, filthy rich and has the looks of a model. He has decided that he wants to give his daughter a wedding and it needs to take place in 4 weeks. The best is what he expects so he goes to Thea not knowing he had met her on the street when they bumped into each other. The chemistry between them was instant. Each with relationship phobias finds themselves wanting to be together. However Thea knows her track record when it comes to men and relationship and doesn't wants number 4. The journey the two are on to not only pulling off a wedding that normally takes a year or two to pull off but finding their own happily ever after was truly enjoyable and downright comical. Regardless to how persistent Thea was to keep her distance after their initial hook up, Oliver is even more persistent to make Thea his. Like he keeps saying he has enough money to make it happen. Smiles all the way through this book. I could have read more about those two. Crazy, Sexy, Cool! 5 stars for me

OMG Rebecca Sharp does it again! Another outstanding book!
I loved the way the story was told about Dixie and her near weddings, her pushy parents and her dreadful fiancée’s. The first one wanted her to have babies immediately at 18, the second well he was just a cheat and the third far too controlling! Her parents were no better! She lived in a small town.
She flees and start her life in New York as a wedding planner of all things! She’s the best planner in New York!
She meets a show stopping man after picking up some bachelorette party items, pink dildos! The good looking stranger helps her, she’s beyond flustered.
Returning to her office she has an expected visitor, the good looking stranger. Hello Oliver Kingsley who walks into Thea’s life when he demands that she plan his daughter’s wedding! All kinds of emotions happen through the planning of the wedding. I’m not going to say any more but this book kept me gripped from start to end and I thoroughly recommend it!

This book is fun and romantic. What I would call a clean your palate type of story. The ones that you need to feel settled, good and lighthearted. You can't go wrong with a hot, dominant, honest, insistent, won't stop until I get what I want amazing dad like Oliver. He is a control freak with a melt where you are standing stare and a delicious grin. Too bad for him that Thea makes him work for it. Good for us because her strong as steel backbone and can't control me attitude makes for good entertainment.

Sharp has an uncanny ability to take a simple idea and make it blossom into the most beautiful story! I love what she has done with this series and anyone who loves country needs to grab this book because the Country Love series is amazing!

Thea and Oliver had me laughing and swooning each page! Their chemistry and take charge attitude make their story so entertaining I didn’t want to put the book down! You’ll fall in love with Thea’s quick wit and Oliver’s demanding sweet nature (he’s a sexy broody man).

I also love how in the end Sharp teaches us a lesson; to never fear making mistakes because they can lead to better things!

The Country Love Series or collection of stories are each standalone books that have no tie to one another other than they are written from the inspiration the author has received from her favorite country songs, which means you can read any or all of the books in any order you wish to read them. This book was inspired by the song READY TO RUN by Dixie Chicks.

Runaway Bride meets Father of the Bride meets The Wedding Planner in this sweet and charming romantic comedy by Rebecca Sharp.

Dixie Dorothea Winston has had her fair share of failed relationships, which in turn became failed engagements. After the third time, which was so not the charm of not making it to the altar; Thea’s had enough and leaves her small town of Chicktown, Alabama—and never looked back. Years later, she’s become a renowned wedding planner. Just because she can’t get it right in love doesn’t mean she can’t give the brides she works with the wedding of their dreams. And she’ll stop at nothing to do so, even putting her feelings aside when she starts falling for her clients’ father.

Oliver Kingsley is King of his kingdom. Powerful, wealthy, demanding—and always gets what he wants no matter the expense. And when he wants to give his daughter the ultimate wedding, he hires the woman who can do just that, Thea. But he never thought what feelings Thea would stir in him or how no matter the amount of time spent with her—it still wouldn’t be enough.

Thea and Oliver’s first encounter was one for the books. I was in hysterics with tears in my eyes from laughing so much. From there on it just got better and better with these two. Their attraction was undeniable and their chemistry was fire. They both complimented each other and were so good together. Their banter was great and I loved Thea’s spunk and Oliver’s tenacity. They put the biggest smile on my face and I just adored them.

Ready to Run was such a feel good read. Filled with humor, steam, and heart. Get ready to fall for Thea and Oliver and get swept away in their story.

‘Ready to Run’ is a runaway 5 Star romantic comedy for Dr. Rebecca Sharp!

This book starts with a series of unfortunate, almost, wedding days for Dixie Dorothea Winston. After leaving 3 men at the alter, for very legitimate reasons, Dixie reinvents herself; she moves to New York City becoming....wait for it....a highly successful wedding planner using the name Thea Winston.

Thea is at the top of her game, dedicated only to the wedding bliss of others, until she runs in to Oliver Kingsley. Their first encounter was hilarious!! I think all of us reading this book can relate to this type of encounter...meeting the hottest person you’ve ever seen and completely embarrassing yourself! No spoilers....you’ll have to read the book for all of the hilarious details. And of course, Oliver ends up showing up to Thea’s office to hire her as the wedding planner for his daughter’s wedding.

Overall, this was a sweet love story. Thea and Oliver both come from difficult relationship pasts, and must overcome those prior ‘failures’ if they are going to have a future together. Not to mention, Thea struggles with her past secrets that she doesn’t yet want to share, and therefore getting involved with a client could be very complicated.

I truly enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to all. Both lead characters are strong and relatable. I have recently become a super fan of Dr. Rebecca Sharp! This book just added to my appreciation of her work! Ready to Run is a book worthy of 5 stars and is a book you can’t miss out on!!

While searching for a new series to start I came across Rebecca Sharp's Country Love series. First book intrigued me so I checked out the blurbs for the rest of the series and realized... I've read this before.

So this series starts with book one having a natural disaster to survive, book two is a wedding planner in NYC and the third book is now about a girl afraid of being killed and falling for a cop who is going to save the day. Check, check, check. I read this series, it was released by A.K. Evans and is The Road Trip series. This is such a blatant copycat series. Authors work far too hard to make reading an enjoyable experience, as a reader it enrages me to see that someone is so willing to rip off these ideas.

Save your time and money and do not waste your time with this series. Look up the original series and give credit to the proper author

Color me impressed with Dr. Rebecca Sharp’s latest addition to her Country Love Collection. This book had me in tears (the good kind) from the get go and it just kept getting better and better.
Thea is an incredible woman. Strong, sexy, independent and brazen. Her determination to succeed and make something of herself, brought her to New York and made her the city’s most sought after wedding planner. Ironic that it took 3 failed marriage attempts to get her there.
Oliver is a self made billionaire. After a disastrous teen marriage, he is a single father with a twenty year old daughter. The man has everything and what he doesn’t have he buys, in cash. He is sinfully sexy and his drive to succeed is a turn on.
In an absolutely hilarious meet cute involving a high heel mishap and an abundance of large pink sex toys, Thea and Oliver discover their attraction to one another. A pull that continues to get stronger until they can longer fight it and really why would they!
An incredible low angst, deliciously sweet, romcom read that will have you humming along to the Dixie Chicks “Ready to Run” as you cheer on Thea and Oliver. TBR and enjoy. (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.)

Ready to Run is one of my favorite songs and this story is certainly fitting. The author came up with a great story and I was into it that I sat on my couch and read it in one sitting. Didn’t get any chores done because I couldn’t put this book down. I sang (love the song), laughed, sighed and found myself loving these characters and every minute of this story. Thea and Oliver found love unexpectedly but can it survive when chaos strikes? One story you will enjoy and should definitely add to you reading list.

Ready to Run by Rebecca Sharp is pure romance bliss. Thea and Oliver's story is the brilliant balance of heartwarming, swoonworthy and heartaching emotions. This is the kind of romance that makes my heart soar and body sing!

Thea has escaped her small town in Alabama and her "reputation" as runaway bride. And now she is the most sought after wedding planner of New York City. Her first meeting with Billionaire Oliver Kingsley happened by accident involving stuck up shoes and a bag of party sex toys. She gets off balance when the same man comes to her office and wants to hire her for his daughter's marriage just four weeks away. So starts the push and pull, burn and sizzle, twists and turns...Thea is afraid of thinking about her own Happily Ever After. And Oliver never wanted a woman so completely like Thea. The story progressed through a series of wedding related accidental activities that brings us to the heartbreaking turn of events. Can they move forward and accept their feelings?

I love fairytales. I mean who doesn't. If Prince Charming has a successful business, wore pricey suits and behaved like an arrogant, controlling and bossy alpha..that would be Oliver for you. He has an easy grace and magical charm that made me swoon, sigh, melt and burn. Thea's character was really complex and I absolutely respect her. She is strong and resilient enough to get back from the initial disasters in her life and to make a name for herself. She is the person who encouraged Oliver's daughter, Jillian to choose own happiness over fear of disappointing her father. She may have a cracked and scared heart but she still can love wholeheartedly. And what can I say about the grand yet simple romantic moments in this story? They were just breathtaking! I ooh'd and aah'd because my romantic heart was so happy! The picture perfect moments through those Oliver and Thea fall in love slowly will forever be stored in my heart. Of course the steam and passion was there. Right along with the misunderstandings, confusions anf doubt. Overall, the author made a concoction that will win your heart.

Ready To Run by Rebecca Sharp epitomised every single good thing about romance. It was positively dreamy and completely charismatic writing!

I finished this book moments ago, and I just loved every minute of it!!!! This is definitely one of my favorite books by this author, and I could not get enough of these characters!!!

We have Dixe (Thea) who is at the top of her career as one of the most sought after wedding planners in New York City. She has a tragic past with her own experiences related to weddings, but she makes sure that each of her clients has their dream day. She's determined to not let any other man get to her, because as soon as she starts to fall in love with them, they immediately show their true colors.. but when a new young bride that reminds her so much of her younger self and the bride's father is thrust into Thea's life, she begins to hope for all the things she used to run away from.

Oliver is a man on top of his game -- he is a billionaire, sexy AF, and knows exactly what he wants and will do everything in his power to get it. He is the perfect amount of confident and sweet, without being annoying arrogant. When he realizes the woman he had a run in with earlier is the wedding planner he needs in order to get his daughters wedding together, he immediately is enamoured with her. She's not afraid to push him, and he loves that she sees him the man, not the person with power and money. But when he is blindsided by sudden revelations, can he keep their newfound love alive?

This book is so emotional, so HILARIOUS (seriously, that dildo scene was one do the best meet cutes I've ever read!) And just so damn amazing!! I was so invested in these characters, and Jillian's character arc was just perfect! I hope she will get her own book as well! :)

Do yourselves a favor and one click this book as soon as it comes out. You will thank me later!

Ready to Run was a swoony sexy book that reminding me of one of my favorite movies, The Wedding Planner. Although to be honest, I loved this book more than the movie which just goes to show how captivating this book was. I was sucked into this swoony love affair and I may have shed a tear or ten.

Thea Winston runs from men, she runs from love. But... that doesn't stop her from owning one of the most sort after wedding planning business in New York city. She believes in love, just not for herself. Her newest client has her questioning that. Well he's actually the father of the bride but on steroids. He is heavily involved in the planning process which is making it difficult to ignore the simmering sexual tension between the two of them. Oliver Kingsley is one of the richest men in New York and he achieved that by taking risks. He is a workaholic and the only thing that can take him away from work is his daughter–the light of his life–and right now, giving her a fairytale wedding is what she deserves. It so happens that the wedding planner he bamboozled into helping him is incredibly sexy and he can't help but imagine forever with her. Convincing her to give them a chance is proving to be difficult but she is worth the risk and challenge.

Oliver was incredibly charming and his caveman antics was such a turn on. Here is a man who wants to take care of the women in his life and he will go to whatever lengths necessary to do that. He worked hard for his money and if him lavishly spending it will get him the woman of his dreams–even if his money means nothing to her—then he will prove to her that he isn't interested in just one night with her. He is playing for forever. I loved how he pursued Thea. I had heart eyes! Thea was an independent woman who has been burnt by men in the past. She is wary of love and doesn't think it's in her cards but the lengths Oliver went through to capture her heart made her made me swoon. He was incredibly persistent and had some sneaky ways in getting her to spend time with him. I laughed. I cried. I fell in love.

This is definitely a book you have to read. It's sweet. It's funny. It had wonderful characters.

I would like to start this review by saying that the concept idea behind this series is GENIUS! I loved how you could kinda understand where the plot was heading only by listening to the song. I also found interesting the attention to detail by naming the heroine 'Dixie', as well as the three exes plot line.

In terms of the story, I might not be the biggest fan of instant attraction, where the main characters want to jump each other's bones 2 seconds after meeting, but I found this to be a quick and easy alright-read. I liked Thea a lot. The strength she had to have to leave everyone behind, start a new life and build a successful business from the ground up when everyone back home judged her for putting her dreams first instead of settling for men who'd done her wrong... ~round of applause~

Oliver wasn't terrible, but I found the constant emphasis on his wealth to be annoying and repetitive. I mean,  things would get a little off track and his default reaction was pull out his black limitless credit card. Like when he joked about buying Thea's apartment building and change its pet policy if he really hated Prince Hairy. Or when he threatened to buy a newspaper and fire everyone if they didn't take an article down. We get it, honey. You rich RICH. Either way, I liked Jillian too. I liked the backstory, I liked her and Thea's relationship development, as well as the strengthening of the bound she had with her dad.

Not gonna lie, I was expecting more drama, especially after that little comeback from James but it turned out to be a dead end which??? Okay... I might have appreciated more but still.

I enjoyed Thea and Oliver’s story. It was cute, quick, and threw two people together who would likely never interact otherwise. From the moment of their incredibly embarrassing first encounter to their reconciliation, strings were being pulled that neither had complete control over. In fact, Jillian did quite a bit of matchmaker playing. Yes, the bride. That’s right. She somewhat stole the show at points with her machinations, but that’s totally fine by me. Thea and Oliver definitely needed the metaphorical kick to the head, so as to un-jumble their heads and hearts before it was too late.

My issue with this book is that it feels almost like deja vu. I have a feeling that wedding planners and New York are on a few authors’ minds this year since this is the second or third release in the last two months or so that includes a wedding planner, the man who should be all wrong, New York, some painful past experiences for a character, and some incredibly funny moments. And even that may not be much of an issue, since they’ve been enjoyable reads! I’ll be interested to see where we head next in this series.

Get Ready to Run into some Funny, Romantic and Sweet escapades between Oliver and Thea ,this is such a feel good book and another fantastic read by Rebecca Sharp.
We learn from the Romance between Thea and Oliver and the circumstances surrounding them,to never sacrifice your happiness to please other people and to fight for the happiness and love you want.

Thea has left 3 men at the altar. Not because she's a runaway bride, but because she was doing what was best for her - and none of those men, not the one she wasn't in love with, not the cheater, and not the abuser, were right for her. But now years later, she's a successful wedding planner. Ironic right? And then she meets the commanding billionaire father of her latest bride and suddenly that elusive happily ever after just may be on her horizon. Perhaps. IF he can not be a typical man and react badly when he finds out her past. And IF she can forgive him for being a dick. Perhaps...

I LOVE this romantic comedy! It's fun and witty, sexy and sharp, and this couple is absolutely perfect for each other. The real star, though, is Thea. She is amazing! Smart and strong and knows her worth and what she wants and deserves, and doesn't settle for something and someone who doesn't give her the love and adoration she deserves. Oliver is perfect for her even when he's being a dumbass male, thank God he takes his head out of his ass and that she has a forgiving heart. This is my first read by this author, and I can definitely say now that it will most certainly not be my last.

Talk about laugh out loud funny! Oh Dixie! She had me laughing after her first engagement. Rebecca Sharp wrote a witty and funny rom com story that will make me want to re read it again and again.

Thea "Dixie" didn't want to live the simple town get married once you graduate high school life and then get pregnant. So she left husband to be #1. Then unfortunate things happened right before wedding #2 that made her not go through with the ceremony. And lets just say who wants to be surprised with their own wedding. Thea left her small town and started anew. She wasn't looking for love since it wasn't in her cards, but she could make everyone else's come true.

Oliver, #1 billionaire bachelor in New York City and doesn't know the meaning of the word no. When his daughter gets engaged and she's a nervous wreck because she has no time before her internship to plan, Oliver stops at nothing to make her day the best. To make it the best she needs the best, she needs Thea Winston to be exact. From the beginning, Thea and Oliver have this instant hot chemistry. But with two big egos and neither of them willing to back down first this story will take you on one hell of a roller coaster ride.

I'm such a fan of Rebecca's book. She can always hook me with her characters and stories that make me swoon and laugh. This is a must read!!

Whoop!! our next installment in Dr. Rebeccas Sharp, Country Love series that are all standalones but all have to do with a song. Ready to Run is inspired by the song, Ready to Run by The Dixie Chicks and it is brilliant. There is just something about this story that just pulled you in and had me laughing out loud.

This story is one of those that you breeze right on through. Light, fun, laugh out loud, minimal drama.

Thea a/k/a Dixie just can't get with the whole marriage thing. After leaving three different men at the alter, Dixie takes things into her own hands and leaving town and her family.

Years later after becoming the most sought after Wedding planner, Thea has a street run-in with Oliver. (OMG that scene is hysterical). Turns out Oliver is the father of the bride that she just took on as a client.

But when things in one life start to fall apart, things in others' life start changing. Walls begin tumbling down. and when Thea is ready to run again. things won't be so black and white.

Easy to read, Fun to ready, and I can't wait to see what next!!

I received a complimentary ARC - early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.

This was an interesting story. It stars the marriage planner. Thea and the previous runaway bride x3 and the father of the bride, Oliver, a very wealthy and single dad. His daughter is engaged and he needs to pull off a wedding in NYC at The Plaza in 4 weeks.

This was a really fun story and I loved the attraction between T and O and how she runs away from her attraction as she feels she will just break his heart and ruin her business. While he knows she is different and absolutely chases her.

All the characters in this story were great and it was very well written. I highly recommend for some fun and light reading.

Oh. My. Gosh! How does this country music-intolerant chick suddenly love these books based on country music songs? Because Rebecca Sharp wrote them, that’s how! Ready to Run was another fantastic novel I couldn’t put down.

Loved Thea and Oliver so so much! Thea is so strong, driven, and just has her stuff together in life...except for the love part. Cue Oliver. I loooved me some Oliver. He’s self-made, wealthy, sexy, BOSSY, and a devoted dad. Uh, yes please! In fact, I’ll take two. These two had chemistry for days and sizzle and pop throughout the pages I loved how they complimented one another’s character and I just rooted for these two! Oliver learns money can’t buy you everything and Thea learns that you have to fight your fears to get your HEA. 5 stars.

Ready to Run is a standalone and is Dixie Dorothea Winston & Oliver Kingston’s story.

Dixie is a runner! She has been up to the altar three times.. Dixie has a good reason for leaving the grooms but you will have to read Ready to Run to know why! So Dixie moved away, all the way to the big city, New York. She put her experience with her own wedding planning to good use. Now she is Thea Winston of Winston Weddings.

How Thea meets Oliver is hilarious! Shortly after they meet Oliver shows up at her office. An embarrassing moment for Thea. Oliver is out to hire a wedding planner for his daughter’s wedding and he only hires the best money can buy and he will have to pay since the wedding is in 4 weeks. Thankfully money isn’t something he has to worry about since he is one of the richest men in New York!

I loved reading Ready to Run. It was funny. It was sexy and it was good!!! 4.5 stars
