Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has long declared his dedication to protecting his Christian country against mass migration and Islamization. In 2015, he said that the swarm of migrants flowing into Europe looked more “like an army.” Now, after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has opened the gates to a new flood of migrants — from Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq — Orban vows to “defend Europe against a wave of illegal mass migration.”
Last week, Ankara broke the 2015 agreement with Brussels in which it would stop the illegal flow of migrants through Turkey in exchange for money and continuing EU accession talks, and opened the gates which resulted in thousands of migrants amassing on the near-east country’s land border with Greece.
Orbán is, meanwhile, viewed as an “Islamophobic nationalist” by EU authorities; he has withstood heavy pressure from European courts to accept EU quotas for migrants. But now the EU is making an about-face and taking a stand against the renewed influx of migrants; it has thrown its support behind Greece against Turkey.
“European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday the bloc would provide Greece “all the support needed”.”Those who seek to test Europe’s unity will be disappointed. We will hold the line and our unity will prevail,” von der Leyen said, standing alongside Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the chiefs of the European Council and European Parliament.”
Erdogan has long been an Islamic supremacist visionary who is aiming for a revived Ottoman Empire. The EU should have opposed him long ago and stood against the hijrah into Europe.
“Hungary Vows It Will Protect Europe from Illegal Mass Migration, Again,” by Victoria Friedman, Breitbart, March 5, 2020:
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has said that his country will defend Europe against a wave of illegal mass migration as it had done in 2015 during the first migrant crisis.
Speaking to the media at a press conference on Wednesday, Prime Minister Orbán said while his country and the EU should “give all the help we can” to Greece to stop the migrant flows, “It won’t be enough just to defend the Greek-Turkish border.”
“As a last resort, as in 2015, there are the Hungarians,” he said during the summit with leaders of the three other central European Visegrád countries, adding: “Even if Greece’s attempt is successful, the EU border must be defended… which Hungary will do.”
Last week, Ankara broke the 2015 agreement with Brussels in which it would stop the illegal flow of migrants through Turkey in exchange for money and continuing EU accession talks, and opened the gates which resulted in thousands of migrants amassing on the near-east country’s land border with Greece. The migrants are reportedly from Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
Turkey’s Islamist president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, declared on Monday that “the doors are now open”, telling the EU “to take your share of the burden”. There are some 3.6 million migrants living in Turkey.
Over the weekend, unmarked white coaches were seen driving migrants from Istanbul to the border with Greece, free of charge. People smugglers in the border region have said that they have been given free rein by Erdoğan’s government, with one telling media that it was his patriotic duty to get migrants out of Turkey so that his country’s economy can improve.
Greece was the main entry point into Europe for Middle Eastern migrants and asylum seekers during the 2015 migrant crisis, which saw hundreds of thousands march along what became known as the Balkan route, through Hungary, and onwards to wealthy, northern-European countries like Germany and Sweden that have generous welfare packages.
Hungary vowed to stop the flows into Europe by building a border fence, increasing border guard patrols, and enacting zero-tolerance on illegal migrants. A report from September 2017 revealed that the central European nation’s common sense approach to stopping mass migration worked, slashing illegal immigration by 99 per cent, the numbers falling from 391,000 in 2015, to just 1,184 in 2017.
A leaked report from Frontex, the EU’s border agency, warned of “mass migration flows” to Greece that will be “difficult to stop” this time around. European leaders like Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz have called Turkey’s action an attack on Greece and Europe. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen visited the border with Turkey and said that the bloc would show “solidarity” with Greece….

Frank, Islam is a complete system of imperial governance, law, social customs and religion rolled into one. If Islamic religion is dynamite, Islamic imperialism is nitroglycerin.

Orban has realized Erdogan’s game: to Islamize Europe through mass migration and then mobilize Europe’s Muslim fifth column to seize political power and reorganize Europe under Turkish rule.

The most fascinating thing about Victor Orban is the fact that he was Soros’ protege. He has seen just how terrible and mistaken his master’s ideals are and decided to rebel against him. Now THAT takes a tremendous amount of character and iron will to stand up for what’s right. Only true natural-born leaders have that quality, which is, sadly, not something that can be said for most Western leaders.
SAFI says
Another irony is that Orban and Ergogan had apparently maintained very cordial relations at least until quite recently. Im’ not sure if it’s still the case now.
I’ve also seen old photographs of a young Erdogan sitting at the same table with Soros across each other and discussing, (I’m not sure in what context,) but more recently Erdogan has accused Soros of orchestrating a coup against him.

Finally, the Hungarians are about to redeem themselves.
In 1683, the leader of the Hungarian Calvinists, Imre Thököly, appealed to the Turkish grand vizier, Kara Mustafa, to attack the Habsburg capital. With the tacit support of the Hungarian army, 150,000 Turks laid siege to Vienna, succeeded in capturing the outer fortifications. On September 11, 1683 (note the date) the turks were routed by a Polish army.
Is this why the islamists chose September 11 to attack America?

What struck me about this clown named falsafa’s comment, gravenimage, was that Muslims have to be the most bigoted, intolerant, hate-filled bunch of people on earth. Islam, this vile bigoted ideology, which has a Koran telling Muslims to go and kill non-Muslims, etc, and this complete hypocrite, who supports Islam with all its bigotry, calling a non-Muslim person a bigot. He , and all Muslims, should go and look in the mirror if he wants to see what a bigot looks like. I consider Orban to be a great man and he is showing the non-Muslim world the right approach to islam and its barbaric, bigoted followers. If only other leaders would follow Orban’s example we’d be on the right track and would soon be putting this enemy, Islam, back in its place, which is outside of all non-Muslim countries..

Muhammad, in Sahih Bukhari, says, “If someone changes his Islamic religion, then kill him.” Muhammad is the lead bigot of history. The earliest Muslim biography of Muhammad shows him torturing someone in order to get hold of a treasure. The same book shows him presiding over the beheading of 600-900 disarmed prisoners. Sahih Bukhari or Sahih Muslim hadiths show Muhammad declaring there is to be no punishment for murdering someone who insults him. There is much else about Muhammad that is monstrous and should make any decent person abandon Islam. Those of you who come into non-Muslim countries and wear your Islamic clothes and your hijabs know or should know that that is intimidating because Islam always brings with it not insignificant numbers of violent jihadists willing to target random people with knives and guns and bombs and trucks, including journalists or anyone who publicly criticizes Islam. That’s why people don’t want Europe to take in more waves of Muslims. Religious Muslims who actually know Muhammad’s example and teachings (Qur’an, Hadith, Sira) think they are better than non-Muslims (the worst of creatures, i.e., lower than cockroaches, according to the Qur’an, which also claims Muslims are the “best of peoples”) and that they have the right from God to shove their authoritarianism or totalitarianism down our throats. There are plenty of non-Muslim immigrants Europe can take in who have no totalitarian system to impose and do not think themselves better than Europeans and who are willing to assimilate and not just impose themselves. Yes, I know some Muslims do assimilate and do not think themselves better than others and have only benign motives, but those are Muslims who either don’t know Islam very well or secretly just don’t believe in Islam’s teachings and Muhammad’s criminally insane example, in short, the benign Muslims are in fact only barely or not at all actual Muslims (just as many Christians are not actual Christians and care little for Christ’s loving example). Those who do believe in Muhammad’s example and teachings are a danger to anyone who seeks to live in a non-totalitarian society.

Greeks who try all kinds of methods to keep refugees away from their country – from drowning them at sea to shooting at them with bullets – should not forget that they may need to be shown the same mercy some day,
eduardo odraude says
It is no mercy to anyone to overwhelm Europe with Islam. The ]reason Europe is a desirable place to go and the reason Europe has resources to help other nations is that totalitarian systems like Islam do not rule in Europe. Europe can help the Muslim world not by accepting mass Islamic invasions of migrants, but by aiding Muslims in their own countries and demanding that Islamic nations protect freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Only by protecting those rights do Islamic nations have a chance of ever becoming places where migrants want to go. Only those rights permit human development and economic prosperity. If you Islamize Europe, you will merely impoverish it and throw it into a backward decadence that will prevent Europe from helping anyone.
SAFI says
You’re watching too much turkish television(all regime controlled). Greece has, as always, went way out of its way to avoid spilling the blood of all the invading barbarians who are trying to overrun its border with turkish help.
I’ll try to make sure that its you, not the Greeks, who’s gonna need other people’s mercy in the future. But if the Greeks ever did find themselves in need that kind of mercy they most certainly would not try to get it from the likes of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc (and if they did it would most certainly be denied to them for being nasty kafirs.) Not to mention the irony that historically in most cases when Greeks did find themselves in need of safe refuge it was to escape the slavery that your people inflicted upon them. For example in the 15th century when huge number of Greeks fled their homelands and sought refuge in Italy, Russia and other european countries to escape the ottoman slavery. (I wonder why they didn’t try to seek refuge in Mamluk Egypt… strange huh?)
SAFI says
Bytheway I’ve seen reports from syrian and kurdish sources that turkey’s southern borders have been hermetically sealed for some time now and lots of people have died by turkish fire while trying to cross into Turkey. If your way of life and your country is so good then why are you here and why are so many fleeing? Why don’t you fight for your own country instead of running? The middle east has been at war with each other for ever…keep it. We don’t want it here.. I stand with the Greeks and anyone else who resists.
unbeliever1 says
Why are Muslim refugees so determined to get into Europe instead of Muslim majority countries where they should be welcomed by their “brothers” with open arms? Since many would wish to live under Islamic laws, one would think that moving to countries which abide by such codes would be the their obvious choice.

Good to see some unity in Europe, finally, on this issue. Europe has been learning from Merkel’s criminally negligent, world-historical error, which on its own may be enough to destroy Western civilization in Europe in a generation, despite the European unity finally developing on the urgency of stopping the Islamic hijra.
Anjuli Pandavar says

With all respect, dear Eduardo, I have my doubts about this. I think it more likely that Brexit spooked them, especially given that the Netherlands, Denmark and Italy are teetering. While Angela Merkel is ideologically incurable, other useful idiot leaders, such as Macron, are at the end of the day, politicians. They’ll jump according to the way the wind blows, and they sense a changing wind.
I also wonder about the extent of EU embarrassment of having paid Turkey almost 6 billion euros in exchange for exactly nothing. The mugs! Any “Islamophobe” could have warned them that this would happen years ago when they signed that “agreement” with a Muslim leader, especially *that* Muslim leader. Is the EU going to demand its money back? Not on your life!
Is the EU about to change its suicidal policy of dhimmifying Europe? It’s way too early to tell. There’s a LOT of swamp to drain, starting with the European Court of Justice, and seeing the fight-back of the embedded capitulators in the UK civil service and state agencies, nothing is certain. One more country leaving the EU or any substantial business relocation to the UK could prove a tipping point, as, of course, would Western European EU citizens taking it upon themselves to defend and clean up their countries, and restore their civilisations and cultures (I wish I could be more hopeful of this), or moving en masse to Visegrád.
In short, I continue to look for signs that Europe will escape the Islamic mess that its leaders have landed its too-trusting population in, but the EU learning from Merkel’s staggering acts of treason is not one of those signs.
eduardo odraude says
Perhaps you are correct on the whole and my statement was too unqualified. I do think however that the results of the 2015 actions of Merkel are among the factors that have since then shifted, somewhat, the German and other governments’ perception of what Islamic immigration means for Europe. Macron, cynical as he may be, is starting to push back against Islamization, where he issued hardly a peep against it before. The EU is backing the Greeks in resisting Islamic hijra. Europe’s anti-Islamic-immigration parties seem — on the whole — stronger than they have ever been, if not yet strong enough?

eduardo odraude says
There is some bigotry against Muslims. But that bigotry, which should stop, is not based on nothing. Rather, it is an oversimplification of very real, very massive facts that very few Muslims admit or do anything about:
1. Polls of Muslims worldwide show varying but on the whole rather high levels of support for rule by totalitarian aspects of Islamic law.
2. Human rights conditions in Muslim-majority countries are, on the whole terrible;
3. The core Islamic texts (Qur’an, Hadith, Sira) show Muhammad uniting religion and state via himself as theocratic political leader and building an expansionist totalitarian system. Muhammad is your prime exemplar. The paradigms promoted by the other major religions such as Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, and Buddhism do not come anywhere near to Islam in the degree to which totalitarian ambitions guide the paradigm and core teachings.
Furthermore, those Muslims who fail to admit that there is tremendous Muslim bigotry against Jews are either phenomenally ignorant or lying. Not to mention that there is a slow but persistent holocaust being waged against Christians in the Muslim world, as anyone can find out who cares. Indeed, wherever Muslims go, those of them who closely follow Muhammad tend to foment Islamically-motivated conflicts and jihad against non-Muslim groups.
