If I thought that previous books in King's of Mayhem series were great, this one was mind blowing and I just freaking love it. This story was about two broken souls who's struggling with their terrible past, seeking salvation and all of it wrapped up in Mc's world full of hot bikers, dangerous actions, twist and turn. Hell on Wheels is book#4 in King's of Mayhem series but you can read it as a standalone. Unless when you read it, you'll have mighty need for knowing whole series. All of King brothers are hot, sexy and handsome bikers with their strong family bond, who's leading motorcycle club. Their marks are vests, Harleys and devotion to the queens of their heart. Chance, the eldest from King's brothers, is handsome and bulky biker but also a former soldier. He went through hell on the war and whole after-effects left so many scars in his body and soul. He felt as a monster and shut down his heart for feelings. But when he met Cassidy it's like he saw an angel and something shift deep down in his soul. Cassidy went through a lot in her whole young life either. She was very talented and beautiful young woman, but couldn't find happiness in her life, running all the time from a man as a devil. From the moment Chance and Cassidy have met I fell in love with them. They were strong and complex heroes but together they're like pure fire. When they started to get to know one another, it appears that many things bonded them together, but many other stands on their way to build a relationship. I loved the slow burn and strong chemistry between them. Their interaction created thrills of emotions and goosebumps on my skin. I was impatiently awaiting if their love will explode with full power. Hell on Wheels is excellent MC's romance story with fast pace, suspense and action in the book. Sometimes my heart was racing hundred miles an hour with events in the book and I was so fast flipping through the pages. Sometimes my heart was melting under Cassidy and Chance difficult and complicated relationships. Whole background in the story and second characters were written in very interested manner and perfectly completed this story. Bull or grandma Sybil are my second favorite heroes. Their past made me want to read their own story.

    Hell on Wheels is the fourth book in The Kings of Mayhem MC series. The storyline is phenomenal and kept me so engaged that I could not put the book down. It had me from page one. This particular book is Chance and Cassidy's story and you root from them the moment they encounter each other. They have to battle a darkness that has been a part of each of their lives to get to their HEA. Chance and Cassidy become one another's light. This seems to be a theme in these books and Penny Dee does an excellent job developing vulnerable yet strong believable and relatable characters, and building the drama and suspense that keeps the reader glued to the pages.

    Hell on Wheels is a page-turner full of drama, steamy hot romance, suspense, violence, Grandma Sybil's special brand of humor and brownies, and much more. I literally could not put it down. Off Limits is the next book in the series. I am already on it!

    Okay, I will say…. This was another one I was a little skeptical about. Only because the moment I saw a guitar and a girl singing, I wanted to DNF… the “rockstar” trope is not my thing… buttttttt this has nothing to do with that 😂

    Chance has recently recovered from a horrible explosion and medical discharge from the Navy. Returning home has been hard, not only for his body but for his mind. Sitting outside at a restaurant, Cassidy, a girl on the run, is playing her guitar to make some money and she has caught the eye of Chance. When a boy tries to steal her money, Chance intervenes and the rest is history.

    I could not get over how awful Chance’s story is at the beginning, and how much it has really messed with him since being home. And Cassidy’s story so sad too. I did not see that coming…. Check if there are trigger warnings.

    I don’t have any issues with this one. It was soooo good! Spice doesn’t hit until 65%!!! But it is SO worth the wait and we get SO much of it! Go read this now!

    I'm lovin this series so much! Every book is just as good as the next. Chance's character is kinda mysterious. You could say he's the tall dark and silent type. He stays to himself most of the time. He had a horrible experience during his time with n the service. As a Navy Seal he was sent on some dangerous missions and on one in particular the something happens that will effect him for the rest of his life and he has the scars to prove it, both inside and out. He resigns himself to spend the rest of his life alone but then Cassidy appears and turns his world upside down. Cassidy has her own demons chasing her but by a stroke of luck she meets the Kings of Mayhem MC Chance in particular who happens to be gorgeous and sex on a very big stick. She funds herself very attracted to him but knows she needs to keep on running so her past won't catch up with her. This book starts out kinda mellow then the angst and suspense starts to grow slowly and just keeps on growing. When secrets start to be revealed it left me with tears in my eyes. Penny's descriptions are so vivid I could picture almost every detail in my head and at times it was just heartbreaking. At times the excitement and suspense got so intense it had me feeling jittery trying to read faster to find out what was gonna happen but I was so consumed I didn't want the story to end. Chance and Cassidy are so smokin hot together. Oh and I can't forget Grandma Sybil's character. I FREAKIN LOVE HER!! I was laughing out loud at her character. She is definitely a spitfire that isn't afraid to stand her ground and she really likes her marijuana. Lol! Everyone in the club family loves Cassidy because she brings out the Chance they all remembered before the accident. I can't wait to get to the next book which is Chastity's, the little sister of the family. You don't get to know to much about her in the other books so this should be interesting. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE!

    Chance Calley, the oldest of the Calley boys, bore the brunt of their father's cruelty. No one knows what all he was put through. To get away from all of that Chance joined the Navy and became a Seal. When a mission went badly, he was the only survivor of his unit and badly injured. After many months, he returned home scarred inside and out. Now he lives day to day and his PTSD seems to be getting worse. Then he spots the most beautiful woman singing on the street. He is so attracted to her but he knows he isn't fit for a relationship. Cassidy is so attracted to the huge guy who came to her rescue but she just wants to get out of this town. She can't stay in one place too long, she can't risk it. Can two broken people have the courage to face their demons and bare their souls for a for a future together?

    I have been wanting Chance's story almost from the beginning of the series. That desire ramped up when we found out he was badly injured overseas. I love a good wounded hero story and I knew his would be awesome. This was so much more than that. Chance and Cassidy are both horribly scarred on the inside and so alone. What's worse is that Chance is so alone surrounded by family. They need each other, viscerally and the desire is volcanic when they get together. Both of their journeys are terribly painful (i.e. triggers) and you cannot help but feel it too. Penny Dee has an amazing talent for pulling you into her story, her characters and taking you on a wild and passionate ride. I couldn't put Hell on Wheels down and read it in one sitting! I love the Kings of Mayhem and Chance and Cassidy stole my heart! I cannot wait for more fabulous stories from Penny Dee!

    As you all know I just love M.C. books and Penny Dee’s Kings of Mayhem Series is one of my favourite series. If you have read any of the Kings of Mayhem books then you really must read this book as well. Every new book Penny Dee brings out in this series becomes my favourite, and already I can’t wait for the next instalment!

    This time the story is all about Chance the eldest of the Calley Brothers. He was a Navy Seal but he came back a broken man. His body is scarred as well as his mind. He’s finally back home with his family, but he’s not in a good place he thinks he’s a beast inside and out. No matter how much his family and the Kings of Mayhem support him.

    That is until one day he’s out with his brothers and hears the voice of an angle. Then he gets a glimpse of the busker and he is hooked. With the sun shining on her blond hair it makes her appear as an angel as well as her angelic voice.

    Ever the vigilante one, Chance notices a young lad eyeing up the hat that people are putting money into. So before anyone else has time to react Chance is chasing the thief. As he confronts the young thief, he finds it hard to control his rage and anger, but that voice! That voice of an angel stops him in his tracks.

    Cassidy the busker, runs after both them to find a big scary biker has cornered the thief. She can feel the anger and rage resonating off of the scary biker, and that he is about to strike out at the young thief. She calls out to him, which stops him in his tracks, giving the thief just enough time to run off minus the money.

    Before Cassidy knows it Chance is offering her to play a gig at the King of Mayhem’s Club House that night, as their usual band have let them down at the last minute. Cassidy is very reluctant to take him up on his offer as her knowledge of biker gangs isn’t good. But can she really afford to turn down $200 to sing 3 songs? With that amount of money she and her best friend can skip town and be somewhere new tomorrow.

    Cassidy decides to take a chance and takes up Chance’s offer of the gig. Once she get on stage and starts to sing there is no stopping her, so much for just 3 songs. The Kings of Mayhem and their guests just love her, and she carries on singing for them. For once she is really enjoying herself. That is until she get home to her best friend.

    When she gets home she notices that her best friends brother seems to be in the money and bringing home expensive items. So she questions her best friend and because of this her best friend kicks her out, for asking too many questions.

    It turns out that her best friends brother has betrayed Cassidy and has told the devil (she’s been running from for the last couple of years) exactly where he can find her. Has Cassidy got enough time to run, or can Chance persuade her to stay, as he and his brothers will protect her?

    After all she is running from the Devil himself….
