Promises will be broken. Love will be tested.

Cassy Evans knows a thing or two about secrets. By juggling work and a hidden relationship with the world’s biggest rock star for months, she’s become an expert.

However, being with Frank comes at a price. Seven years after the accident that almost ended everything, his trauma still haunts him. Determined to get back on stage, the man known to the world as Frankie Blade would do anything to ensure the success of his band’s reunion. But when one rash decision puts his entire career on the line, it’s not clear if he can recover from it.

As Frank spirals out of control, pushing Cassy away, she has to face the reality of what they’ve become. He’s harder to love than she imagined. Her common sense tells her severing all ties with him is the right choice.

Problem is, she can’t leave without her heart. And Frank doesn’t want to give it back.

One Last Verse is the conclusion of Frankie and Cassy’s story. It should be read after Final Serenade.

Yes! This sequel had it all. Angst, heartbreak, sex and love. The characters got the room they needed and shined. Cassie and Frank. Phew. What a story. It was intense and so damn emotional. Frank lost so much in One Last Verse and the effect it had on him and on his and Cassie’s relationship was devastating. Cassie was Frank’s support, his rock but she also lost a lot because of his abuse and reckless behavior. It was uncomfortable and difficult to read at times but only because the author captured that despair and depression with a rawness that couldn’t help but affect me.
One Last Verse was a roller coaster ride of emotions and a fabulous rockstar romance. The author knows her stuff when it comes to this genre. The atmosphere was spot on. I was at a concert. I witnessed scandalous behavior. It was very authentic and also why I enjoyed this book but first and foremost I enjoyed the characters.
In the previous book I needed depth and chemistry and here I got it. In spades! I felt and connected with the characters. Cassie and Frank was an amazing couple and their road to a HEA was so worth it.
Now I’m hoping for a Dante book cause after what he went through he surely needs it. I need it!

Fantastic book and phenomenal writing! I loved this even more that Final Serenade, and that's saying something. Both Final Serenade and One Last Verse are definitely on my favorite books of the year list. I can't wait for everyone else to read this!

I loved this duet so much, and it ended as perfectly as it began. The writing is top notch, every sentence crafted to elicit emotion. My heart shattered for both Frankie and Cassy. Every time I thought a character had perhaps gone too far, they surprised me, because the real villain in this story is circumstance. And Dante...fucking hell. His character arc is inspired. Though I loved reading him, I couldn't actually stand him in Final Serenade. By the end of One Last Verse, he'd become my favorite. NN Britt is a master of rockstar romance and definitely an author to watch.

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.

This book totally owned me. It tore me open and stitched me up again. I am so in love with this series. I don't even know where to start with this review.

I absolutely love this author's writing style. It completely sucks you into the story and envelops you. The narration is smooth, effortless, and inviting. I loved the plot of the story. So much drama and so much emotion. Britt tells such an intimate story. There is some sensitive subject matter in this story and I think that the author handled them all gracefully and realistically. I liked that she didn't hold back on the emotion where these issues were concerned. She put her all into the story, that much is obvious.

These characters took hold of my heart. I was so invested in their story and I felt everything that they felt along the way. Frankie and Cassy had so much depth and they both had incredible character development. I loved that they had such distinct personalities that shone through the pages. I also loved how these characters evoked so much emotion in me while reading their story. I also have to mention the secondary characters because they were amazing. I would love to see more of them in other books.

Frankie and Cassy have such an undeniable connection. The romance in this book was so heartbreaking and powerful. It showcases what it's like loving someone with an addiction and how sometimes you have to let that person go if they aren't willing to help themselves. This was a romance that was hard at times but overall it was so very beautiful.

Overall, this was a raw and poignant story that was unforgettable and addicting. Be ready to experience a gamut of emotions while reading this book. This was such a captivating story and I am still stuck in that book hangover phase with this one. This is definitely a duet that I will revisit in the future. This author has a way with words that dazzles the reader and leaves them feeling every emotion tenfold. I am so impressed with this duet and I can't wait for more from this author! I am a total fangirl now.

*Once again, I realized I hadn't moved my review here from another site when I originally read this amazing conclusion- The Encore book 2. So, here we go now!

Why do I love tortured, broken leading men in my romance books so much? They intrigue me, wrap me in their sorrow and drama, making me hope someone, someday will find them worthy of loving forever! This duet's One Last Verse is Frankie Blade- struggling, fighting to push himself to the limit as he tries to mold himself back into the same familiar skin he was living in so many years ago. Wanted, but feared his place in the spotlight as the epitome of a confident front man of his legendary band. Under it all, he is pieced together like a jagged puzzle, in constant pain physically and mentally. Frank is unable to come to terms with his new reality- life might not be as it was before his vicious motorcycle accident and it's killing him inside.

Intelligent, beautiful Cassie is Frank's voice of reason...she has idolized him, loves him but is noticing all the cracks forming at the edges of his world. She's goodness and light as he is her dark dream which is turning into a nightmare. Cassie is losing herself and Frank is just lost. Keep your box of tissues handy while reading their complicated story that will gut your heart and lift you up all in one book. I wondered as I took in those conflicting thoughts and emotions spilling out all over the place- was I going to like the ending of this book or get thrown for a big old loop? Well, let me tell you how poignant, introspective and just plain tissue worthy I thought their story turned out to be.

I came to a place towards the end where I was just taken back, right along with Cassie. I read and reread those pages multiple times to absorb every lovely detail because it was just that amazing to me. I am really loving the writing style of N.N. Britt and I will be reading whatever I find from her in the future. I was dying to get my hands on this conclusion, no matter how much it might have rocked my world. Either way, I was more than ready to find out if Cassie and Frank could ever fit their pieces together long enough to find forever.

“The moment I saw Frankie, I knew he was the one. The way he looked at me made me want to hug him and never let go. Please love me, his eyes had said. We didn’t look back after we brought him home with us. He was such a good, loving boy, and he made us extremely happy.”

The moment I read the author’s name, I was sure this would be a mind boggling read and of course I was right all along. When I read “Final Serenade”, I was mesmerized by the couple that is, Frankie and Cassy and now when I finished reading “One Last Verse”, I’m still fucking mesmerized by them and the author of course. I don’t think I can never not be in awe of the author. Her writings move me in ways I’ve never been moved. How can someone be that creative and write oh so good?

"There was something extremely primal about him today. Something dark and dangerous. Just like the night he took me for a ride in the mountains and then fucked me on his dining table. I adored that filthy side of him. Adored it to the point of physical pain."

There’s so many things that made me awestruck while reading this like Frankie’s habit of always making him look like a victim whenever tough shit happens and how admirable Cassy’s character was to help Frankie when he was beyond the point of help but she didn’t lose her hope. She wanted to be there for him at no cost and that was so so admirable of her. I wouldn't be able to take all these tantrums of the rockstar like ever but she put out a strong front and stood strong but on the inside she was crumbling and tumbling someplace unknown.

"I was losing control of my own thoughts and feelings. I was giving them all to Frank. He drew all my dreams and all my desires out of me, one by one. Moan after moan."

I filled the better half of the whole book with highlights and bookmarks because every single paragraph was too damn beautiful to not admire again and again. It’s really beyond me on how someone can write so beautifully and gracefully with every emotion hiked up which brings out the emotions of the readers as well. I was so frustrated with Frankie, I was there with Cassy. I was whispering for Frankie to stop being like this and just see the destruction he was causing.

"He paid attention to the smallest details—what I wore, what I said, what I wanted."

This above line is one of my favourites. There’s so much cuteness in this line and how Frank actually does pay attention to every word that goes out of her mouth. They are adorable.

"I’d been spoiled rotten as he’d promised, worshiped and fucked like a queen by the man who was one of the finest members of rock ’n’ roll royalty."

I loved them together. They are chicken and mayo. Fish and chips. King and Queen.

"Don’t ever let a man in to the point where when he’s gone, he’s taken a part of you with him."

Eh…. Frank had a lot of problems and the only cure for him was Cassy.

"Though miserable, he still found time to be cute."

When Frank was cute, my heart snapped because aww he really went all in when he wanted too. The cute cute things he did for Cassy made me so happy even though he was struggling within himself.

"I was melting like ice cream that’s been shoved into a microwave. I didn’t like how easily he’d manipulated me into feeling the way I was feeling at that moment—lost."

Somehow I understood where Frank stood while many of us might get frustrated with him- like I’ve been with him many many times- I understand him. It was not easy, whatever happened to him and to move on, just like this ain’t a cup of tea. So whatever issues he had, it’s okay Frank but the only thing got me a bit not chilled was that Cassy wanted to help but he wanted to not let her do that. He was not sharing enough. Maybe he thought that he would burden her or whatever but he was closed off with his feelings and tried to change the subject with his victimizing stories whenever it got too uncomfortable for him.

"The chase was beautiful. For a second, we were truly whole. All his worries filtered through me. All his heartbeats repeated mine."

I LOVED EVERY WORD, EVERY DOT OF THIS STORY. I CAN’T EMPHASIS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE AUTHOR AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL AUTHOR SHE IS!!

Coming to the question of the year…...Dante.

I think for me, he redeemed himself in this part though it was at the very very last part of the story. I was fascinated by him from the very beginning of “Final Serenade”. Shall I like him or shall I hate him? There was this big question but I think we all deserve to know everyone’s POV and for me, hearing Dante and what he was feeling about the whole situation without any sugar coating and drugs running through his veins- I finally got it.

I wouldn’t mind another Cassy for our Dante dearest actually…..*wink wink emojis*

And another big thank you to the author for the bomb epilogue.

Loved the story, love you.

I thought I knew it all about the conclusion of Cassy and Frank’s story but there’s so much more into it.

So many feelings, so many heartbreaking moments and scenes, so much to overcome and deal with. But as always, love is stronger than anything and although it takes a long time, it will heal and bring light into everyone’s life.

Do I agree with every choice the characters have had? No, but again, in real life nobody is perfect and I’m happy to read about flawed people and their mistakes and how they find a way out.

It’s a very emotional story and treats many issues that are raw and not easy to deal with but I loved it.

What a Great Duet!!!

Frankie and Cassy’s story was full of emotion, heartache, heartbreak and plenty of steam. I absolutely loved their connection and I’m now a big fan of N.N. Britt. Of course I loved my rock and rollers but this book was full of so much more that it was a page turner I couldn’t put down.

Be ready for one crazy ride with Frankie and Cassy and this is one author I can’t wait to read again. Make sure you grab Final Serenade in the Encore Duet series.

Breathtakingly and Painfully Beautiful !!

This story captivated me so much from the first book that I found myself savoring every word of book 2...I absolutely loved it! It was the ultimate ending to a great duet!

I said it before and I’ll say it again, N.N. Britt definitely knows the inner workings as well as the external nuances of the rock’n roll world. She intricately weaves that knowledge and experience into a beautifully painful love story.

I am utterly captivated by Frank and Cassy’s story! Not only do they have chemistry that is palpable, and deep but their relationship reflects realistic interactions and emotions. The plot and character development continued with a smooth easy flow! The writing was effortless in describing emotions and off the charts (no pun intended) angst levels that realistically reflected off the pages. I could feel what Cassy was feeling and Frank’s actions evoked deep rooted emotions in me that had me tightly gripping my kindle!

This Duet is A Must Read!

One Last Verse is the 2nd book in the Encore Duet and another fabulous page turner from NN Britt. This was a beautifully written yet painful love story that will have you engrossed in the pages and unable to put it down. The plot and characters development continued seemlessly from the first book and it will all evoke a range of emotions from you as you continue along this journey with these unique characters. Expect to be taken on a rollercoaster ride with all the twists and turns, drama, angst and explosive chemistry. I was so invested in Frankie and Casey's story, it was captivating, raw and unforgettable and the secondary characters also made an impact. One Last Verse was an excellent conclusion to this duet. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to all lovers of rockstar romance.

My heart is on the verge of being split apart because I don't know how she does it, but she's manged to suck my soul straight into this novel, and what a novel it was.
The concluding book in this duet, One Last Verse, doesn't fail in pushing you into the deep end, into an abyss of wild emotions.
You experience this book, as though it were a journey, no doubt.
Frankie and Cassy' s story is one that pulls you into its depths and claws at your soul, making you feel every word as though you were right there.
There's pain, anger, want, need, betrayal, heat and love along with so much struggle.
It's a mental rollercoaster that I wasn't ready for and loved it all the same.
In the word of Rock n Roll, Frankie needed to learn how to survive and fight once again, when all comes crashing down.
He's an enigma. You won't forget him, no matter how hard you try.
Cassie is strong and beautiful. Her soul is something else on its own.
So powerful yet vulnerable with a drive you couldn't imagine.
Their chemistry is wild, hot, explosive and captivating.
Hats off to the author for creating such a world. I'll never forget them.

I had to stew on this one for a bit. NN Britt has this way of writing that turns me on, breaks my heart, and leaves me deep in thought. One Last Verse gets 6 stars from me, leaving the Duet at 5.5ish. If you like raw, gritty, *real* rockstar romance, you need to check this out.

The second half of Cassy and Frankie’s story had me reeling, full of emotion and clutching my chest, because it was so much more than a love story. NN Britt’s intimate knowledge of the music industry was evident in this duet, and I could literally feel her anger, disappointment, frustration, and unending love for the rock and roll scene in every word of One Last Verse. This duet is more than a romance; it’s a love letter to rock and roll.

The Encore Duet made me fall in love with a fictional band, I felt real empathy over their struggles, and my pain and excitement for these characters is unmatched with anything else I’ve ever read. Their agony was my agony, and their triumph was my triumph. And not only did I fall for Cassy and Frankie, the secondary characters stole my heart as well, and I was fully invested in Isabella’s side story.

In short, I freakin loved this book. For as much as it put me through, it was brilliant. Another chart topper for NN Britt, and I’m already salivating over the thought of what she has to come.

I’ve been WAITING for this book since reading part 1 of the duet, Final Serenade, last month, which ended on a massive cliffhanger. This is not a standalone, it’s a continuation (second book) in a duet. The first book was excellent and so I was pretty excited to read this book. I should say music, the music industry, rockstar lifestyles, are not typically my thing, but this author has a way of writing about pain and human emotion that goes beyond whether you like her tropes and more in the common sometimes raw experiences of humanity that linger with you long after you read a book. So, of course, I was excited to read this.

The premise of book 2 of this novel (without giving away too much of book 1) is that Cassy, a music journalist, with a lifelong crush on lead singer of her favourite band, Frank, and she’s living the dream, dating said lifelong crush. But she is spiraling and losing herself in the relationship with the troubled rockstar and she has to decide whether it’s worth it to continue, whilst Frank has to decide whether all he is, is a rockstar.

I have to admit that I didn’t really like this as much as I liked the first book. I think if you’re a music industry nerd or a rock music nerd, you might like this more. The pacing of this book was slower but at the same time, it felt like it glossed over some things I would have wanted explored in more depth. In this book, early on, there was also a lot of overt foreshadowing of ignominious events with references of “what was to come” or “everything about to change.” It’s a style thing that wasn’t my favourite and it was done a lot early in the book before things really kicked off and the story got going. Character wise, I feel like Cassy was treated with a lot more compassion than Frank was and as a result, in my opinion, grew a lot less as a character, meanwhile she had quite a lot of room for personal growth. I felt like it made the book a little unbalanced when compared to Rapture (the author’s debut), where both characters were fully rounded and had room to grown. I felt like only Frank had room to grown and the sympathy which with Cassy was written many times made me sympathize with Frank and find Cassy somewhat unsympathetic. I found Cassy kind of pushy and manipulative and a little controlling and disloyal- I don’t think she would have liked the lack of loyalty if the tables were turned. I also think she could be very shallow in the face of very deep problems- she was very into “how things made her look in front of people” rather than the actual deeper issues that were more disturbing and concerning that whatever whomever thought. Her relationship with Frank kind of exemplified my suspicions of when fans hook up with their idols in a relationship- do you ever really love the actual person or do you love the perfect image of them you have in your head that you want them to live up to. Cassy had a lot of issues in her head reconciling who she expected Frank to be with the damaged person he actually was and I think some of that was on her and she never took responsibility. She had unresolved issues from childhood that were never dealt with and I just don’t think she grew or changed much from the beginning to the end of the book. Even though she was excellent at telling Frank some home truths and blaming him for everything, and I think she needed some home truths told to her as well that would have been fantastic.

What did I love about this book? The exploration of human emotion especially pain and regret and fear- those things were impeccably handled as you can expect from this author. She dived deep into addiction and alcoholism and also the impossible standards of the music industry and how rockstardom changes a person. The complexities of friendship and family were beautifully dealt with in a way that was real and painful and angsty. To me, this book shined most in talking about love and pain, those things were tangible, even more so than the plot which sometimes felt a little abstract and not cohesive. This is a gritty, angsty, grown up, not prettied up rockstar romance/love story. If you’re looking for a dose of reality with your romance, you’ll want to check this out. By going to the author’s website, there’s also a gorgeous epilogue to this duet, called The Encore, that I highly recommend checking out. I’m not sure the exact timeline when it happens after the end of this book but it’s still beautiful to read. I recommend this to any fan of rockstar romance who loves angst and deep feeling and a proper reality-based look at the music industry (since y’kno the author is a music journalist).

I received an advanced copy of this book with no obligation to review. These are my honest thoughts.

This is the second book in the Encore series and starts off right where Final Serenade leaves off. If you haven't read Final Serenade yet, One Last Verse is NOT a stand-alone book and just an FYI, Final Serenade leaves off on a HUGE cliffhanger.

One Last Verse is a book really about addiction. Frank is an alcoholic and a substance abuser. He is really lost, depressed, and is in need of treatment and recovery. The relationship between Frank and Cassy is complicated by Franks's addiction and can not move forward until it is dealt with.

I thought that this was an interesting look at addiction. Frank had not only his celebrity to deal with, but also a horrendous accident and painful recovery to go through. Both of these thing contributed to his addictions and where he found himself.

The relationship between Frank and Cassy continued to be just average (at best) for me.

N.N. Britt managed to leave me utterly speechless with the conclusion of Cassy and Frankie's epic love story. Her breathtaking words make you feel things that you never thought possible and it's as if you are experiencing every emotion right alongside those unique characters.

The Encore Duet were two of my most anticipated reads of 2020 and I must applaud the author for writing this brilliantly captivating secret love affair that left me on edge the entire time I devoured all the words. These emotionally gripping tales engulfed every inch of my soul and I couldn't get enough of this couple. I absolutely loved every moment of Cassy and Frankie's angsty journey and I don't think my heartstrings will ever be the same. Their chemistry was wild and explosive, causing an ache deep in my heart that may never go away and I just know that these two will go down in history as one of my favorite book couples.

The second I reached that "what the f*ck" cliffhanger ending in Final Serenade, I just knew that I needed to get my hands on One Last Verse as quickly as possible. N.N. Britt being the amazingly kind author that she is, did not make us wait too long and before I knew it I found myself falling even deeper in LOVE with these two. Their story was an experience, one that will break your heart more times than you could even begin to imagine and that emotional rollercoaster was intense through every twist and turn! This was the PERFECT conclusion and I kinda (okay I really FREAKING) hope to see some of these characters in her future releases because I couldn't get enough of them!

I loved the first part of this duet and thought the second part could not surpass the first. Boy was I wrong! There is so much going on in this story it is impossible to put down, it just grabs you by the throat and doesn't let you go until then end, and not even then, major book hangover!

This is the second part of Frankie and Cassy's story and you will feel every emotion from the hot and sexy love scenes between these two characters which contrast with the painful and heart-breaking scenes as Frankie spirals out of control. Cassy's helplessness as she is unable to save this broken man is hard to read especially when he is destroying her life and her career.

N N Britt's writing is beyond brilliant, here she gives us a story that is raw, realistic and gritty. It brings to life the seamy underbelly of the music business where all that matters is fame and money and where the paparazzi is king. You really feel that you are watching this story play out in real life. The characters seem like real people with real demons and the world is watching their suffering.

This duet is my number one rock music romance for this year so far, and that says a lot because there have been some really amazing ones. If you have not read it yet do not miss it, it will break your heart and then mend it. You must read Final Serenade first to get the full story. Five stars for this series is definitely not enough!

The conclusion to The Encore Duet was so emotional and raw that my heart hurt as I continued to read Frank and Cassy’s story, because loving a rockstar isn’t easy.

The characters are so believable that it was impossible not to connect with them and become invested. I was just as conflicted as Cassy when it came to Frank, who personified brooding, dysfunctional rock star. It was difficult to decide if I wanted Cassy to stay or leave, much like I’m sure she was feeling. The roller coaster that was there relationship was impossible to jump off! Tough, painful decisions needed to be made and broken hearts were inevitable.

This duet isn’t just a great story and an amazing read, it’s an experience and N.N. Britt’s writing completely pulls you into their world, shows you the music industry in a way that I definitely hadn’t seen before, proves that love is messy, but in the end, so worth it!

I read Finale Serenade like last month and I was so impressed with NN Britt so I jumped at the chance to read One Last Verse . I had to know what happened next.

One Last Verse takes place right where Finale Serenade left off. And boy did this story take a dark turn. One Last Verse is a story about addiction, depression, redemption, overcome adversity and hope.

Cassy and Frank. Man, thier love story is a rocky one. Part of me really admires Cassy for her strength dealing with Frank's medical condition and his mental health. And the other part of me says giiirrlllll, RUN!

What I think i was the most surprised by was the character growth from Dante, one of Franks band mates. His arc was pretty awesome.

I basically read this book in one sitting. The writing was gripping. I didnt realize how fast I was reading through until there were no more pages left for me.

One Last Verse is the conclusion to Frankie and Cassy’s story and one that will take your heart on an emotional ride. As drama, broken promises and secrets tear their worlds apart, I was left gripping onto the edge of my seat with both hands. My heart pounded, my pulse raced and at times I found myself holding my breath unsure if my heart would make it out of this in one piece. Their story was poignant, affecting and the connection between Cassy and Frankie could be felt soul deep. This conclusion to their journey was at times heart wrenching but also impassioned. One Last Verse sang to my soul and gave me the rawness of Cassy and Frankie. It showed me that sometimes our heart has to break first for us to truly appreciate the chance at a love that will forever serenade our soul.

Well this author has done it again, I absolutely love everything I've ever read that has been written by her.

This story continues with the relationship of entertainment reporter Cassy, and rock star Frankie; they both have their demons, hers stemming from her childhood, and trust issues, and his with abandonment and health problems resulting from a motorcycle crash, in which he lost seven years of activity which is ongoing - and causing quite the upset with his band, Hall Affinity.

The book takes us through the ups and downs of the two of them getting to know each other better, working, her alone, sometimes, but, then they decide to do a project together, with an extremely talented young singer, this project means so much to Cassy and her business partner Levi, and she hopes that everything will go well - they hit some BIG bumps - and a new set of problems plague them. She comes to terms with Frank's faults, addictions, and the problems with his band, and his promises to do better, all the apologies in the world can't take away some of the pain he causes her.

But, in the end - through their story, THAT YOU JUST HAVE TO READ - they do love each other, he needs help - and he needs to forgive and let go of the pain, mistrust and the anxiety caused by some of the people around him and see things, REALLY see things, from the past and what he wants in his future.

The emotional conclusion to The Encore Duet was fraught with heartache so raw that my heart hurt as well.

As we continue on Frank and Cassy’s very bumpy journey, we definitely discover that loving a rock star isn’t easy.

One Last Verse is the conclusion to Frank & Cassy's story, which means YOU HAVE TO READ THE BEGINNING (Final Serenade) FIRST! Man, Ms. Britt totally destroyed me with all the emotions which were dragged out of me whether I wanted it or not, and I'm still so emotional. I won't go into details because of this being the conclusion, but everything is so much bigger this go around. Obviously, the emotional portion is way bigger, but the realistic feel is bigger, the rawness is bigger, and the heart is bigger as this author put her back into it. It's one of those Duet's which I'll visit over & over again throughout the years, as it had that big of effect on me. So, just hit those one click buttons to experience all of this for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the 2nd and concluding story in this phenomenal duet. Cassy and Frankie are by no means perfect characters, they are flawed, and when life knocks them down, they learn to dust themselves off to survive, which is by no means an easy feat. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout, as is a raw, gritty, heart-breaking, and powerful story which is filled with drama, explosive chemistry, and love. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend for all. This author has outdone herself with this phenomenal series!

The Encore Duet is an edgy rockstar romance that hooks you from the very first page.

One Last Verse pulled on my heart strings so hard, I literally held my chest reading parts of this incredible story. N. N. Britt has written a compelling, rollercoaster ride of emotions that need to be read!

Cassy is juggling work and her secret relationship with Frank is taking a toll. Frank is having trouble recovering from his accident from seven years ago. He would do anything to keep his band together. He is pushing Cassy away. Cassy knows she should break it off but will her heart let her? A story full of heartbreak, triumphs and flawed people.

One Last Verse is the conclusion of Frankie and Cassy’s story. This book had many highs and lows and N. N. Britt made you feel all the emotions from her brilliant storytelling. One Last Verse is one of my favorite books and I highly recommend it,but be sure to read Final Serenade first.

The emotions are real. This book has me so on edge. I’m sucked in, but also afraid to keep reading. I’m on pins and needles about what may happen. Frankie is so messed up and Cassie is doing her best to stand beside him. This book had me so into my emotions!! I just didn’t want it to end.. Loved every second of it.
