Here is some exciting news for those who are impatient for our glorious multicultural future to arrive. This is only supposed to be for Ramadan, but in today’s Minneapolis, it is extraordinarily unlikely that the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood will stop broadcasting the adhan, the Islamic call to prayer, once Ramadan is over. A cultural line has been crossed. And the implications of this, beyond the expected hosannas from the usual proponents of globalism and multiculturalism, are ominous.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, a friend and supporter of Ilhan Omar, is no doubt thrilled to do this, as it demonstrates how “inclusive” his city is. And that’s wonderful, but when the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood broadcasts the Islamic call to prayer, what exactly is it broadcasting? The adhan, prayed in Arabic, goes like this:
Allah is greater (Allahu akbar); intoned four times.
I testify that there is no God but Allah (Ashhadu anna la ila ill Allah); intoned twice.
I testify that Mohammed is Allah’s Prophet (Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah); intoned twice.
Come to prayer (Hayya alas salah); intoned twice.
Come to security/salvation (Hayya alal falah); intoned twice.
Allah is greater (Allahu akbar); intoned twice.
There is no God but Allah (La ilah ill Allah); intoned once.
Dr. Gavin Ashenden, former chaplain to the British queen, who resigned his position in protest against a Qur’an reading in a Scottish church, observed that “the Muslim call to prayer is a dramatic piece of Islamic triumphalism. It proclaims Islam’s superiority over all other religions, and in so doing casts Jesus in the role of a charlatan and a liar. The Muslim god, Allah, is unknowable and has no son. Jesus was, therefore, a fraud in claiming He and the Father are one.”
Is the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis really wise to broadcast repeatedly a declaration of the superiority of Islam, a faith that directs its adherents to make war against Christians and other non-Muslims and subjugate them as inferiors under the hegemony of believers (cf. Qur’an 9:29)?
Is the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis wise to broadcast the cry “Allahu akbar,” beloved of jihad terrorists the world over? Chief 9/11 hijacker Mohammed Atta wrote this in his letter to himself before carrying out his jihad mission: “When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.” This is why the Fort Hood jihad killer, Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted it as he shot thirteen Americans in November 2009, and why so many other jihadis have used it essentially as an announcement that non-Muslims are about to die.
But in Minneapolis today, any such concerns will be dismissed out of hand as “Islamophobic.” Jacob Frey and other Minneapolis officials are no doubt certain that Muslim communities in the city will be grateful, and will redouble their efforts to become loyal, productive citizens, marching together with non-Muslims in Minnesota into the glorious multicultural future. That’s the way it will work out. Isn’t it? No Muslims will take seriously the adhan’s declarations of Islamic superiority and heed the Qur’an’s calls to wage war against unbelievers. Will they? In multiculti Minneapolis today, such an idea is inconceivable!
“Muslim call to prayer to be broadcast in Minneapolis neighborhood,” by Jean Hopfensperger, Star Tribune, April 22, 2020:
The Muslim call to prayer will be broadcast the traditional five times a day in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis, beginning with the start of Ramadan this week and continuing through the end of the religious holiday in May.
It will be the first time the call to prayer, commonly broadcast from mosques in Muslim nations, will be heard in Minnesota.
Designed to encourage Muslims to maintain safe distancing during a holiday typically marked by community prayer, the arrangement was approved Tuesday by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, working in collaboration with Minnesota’s Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque.
“At a time when physical distancing requires we pray apart, it’s incumbent on leaders to create a sense of togetherness where we can,” said Frey in a news release. “Adhan [the call to prayer] provides solidarity and comfort, both of which are essential during a time of crisis.”
The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood is home to one of the largest populations of Muslim Americans in Minnesota. The majority are from east African nations such as Somalia and Ethiopia.
Imam Sharif Mohamed of the neighborhood’s Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque said the broadcasts are a way to remind the faithful that they “are not alone,” even as they’ve spent weeks inside their homes.
“This is a reconnection, a calming, to give people assurance that we are with you,” said Mohamed. “That’s what we try to achieve.”
While not unprecedented, the broadcasting of the Muslim prayers in a U.S. city is unusual, said Jaylani Hussein, director of CAIR-Minnesota. The city of Dearborn, Mich., has permitted the broadcasts for a number of years, and the city of Paterson, N.J., approved a request in March, according to news reports.
Minneapolis is a little different, because the prayers will be broadcast in the heart of a large metropolitan area, Hussein said. The common thread linking the cities with broadcasts is their large number of Muslim residents, he said…
“Just as we have historically allowed churches to call out for prayers using a bell, this is a continuation of the same freedom that other faiths have had,” Hussein said.
CAIR provided the funding for the audio equipment that will be used to broadcast from the mosque. The broadcasts will begin at sunrise and end at sunset. They will run through the evening of May 23, the end of Ramadan.

Then there is what Western Civilization has achieved over the past half millennium compared to what the Islamic world has achieved. Again, a no-brainer.
For me, mortimer, the Islamic call to prayer is a call to the enslavement of the human mind, body and spirit. Yes, I disrespect Islam this much. Wish far more would. Meanwhile, the sound of the worst religion of all time will be forthcoming in Minnesota. Only idiots or worse will approve of this monstrous call to prayer to a deity which does not exist.

I remember the 9/11 attacks 19 years ago. It was an act of war greater than Pearl Harbor. We defeated Japan, but with Islam, they are defeating us. They are coming in here to multiply (by birth) and scream over the loudspeakers that Allah is greater than our God. This is infamous.
commonsense says
To reinforce your point, Mr. Fodor, note the name of this mosque: the Dar al-Hijrah, which literally means “House of Migration.” The more ominous implication of this, universally understood by believing Muslims, is that this mosque is a rabat, i.e. a beachhead, representing an expansion of the geographic domain of Islamic hegemony. There are many passages in the Qur’an which exhort believers to emulate Muhammed and migrate to lands of the infidels, thereby promoting the spread and eventual intended domination of Islam within these frontiers. This is the purpose of this mosque, and all others besides. Many other mosques in America are also called Dar al-Hijrah, for what should be obvious reasons, but most people, including – and maddeningly – elected officials, from Chief Executive (our current president possibly excepted) to local mayors, such as this fool, Frey – a Jew who is obviously completely unaware of Islam’s canonical and implacable Jew-hatred, and a “friend” of the repellent enemy of Israel, Ilhan Omar, to boot.

If you get enough Muslims in an area, the local politicians then begin to suck up to them in order to win their votes. I guess the Muslim population in this area of the USA must be very high for the caving in to occur. Here in Australia, in Sydney and Melbourne, our two biggest cities, there are a few electorates where Muslims would be over 20% of the population and so the local politicians there have to be sellout merchants to the Muslim agenda. I haven’t heard of this hideous noise being let loose on the non-Muslims in the electorates out here that have large Muslim populations. It probably does happen though in a few suburbs. I wouldn’t waste my time going near them (haven’t for years) so I wouldn’t know if this hideous noise is let loose there. Areas where there are large numbers of Muslims are all well on the way to becoming those no-go areas (barbaric countries within the host country) that afflict parts of Europe. The big mistake is letting Muslims in. Once that’s done, you get all this crap. It’s them or us. The more Muslims you have, the more of this rubbish you are bound to get. And much vaunted diversity dies as Muslim thuggery takes over. I agree with the other commenters about the absolutely hideous noise this Muslim call to prayer is. And then when you realise that the call to prayer is the usual Muslim aggressive, supremacist crap, it is even worse.
PRCS says
“If you get enough (insert label here) in an area, the local politicians then begin to suck up to them in order to win their votes.

tim gallagher says
Thanks for the comment, PRCS. It is the way democracy works, isn’t it. I am a huge believer in democracy, but the mistake, in my opinion, is letting Muslims into any non-Muslim country. Once they are allowed to grow their numbers to a certain level, then they begin to apply plenty of pressure to politicians in the electorates which have plenty of Muslims. I’m for the Hungarian solution. You just keep them out and avoid the problems they’ll always bring. It annoys me how there is always this call for diversity, which I again support, but not when it comes to Muslims. Muslims believe in the complete opposite of diversity ( they treat non-Muslims like crap wherever they have power) and yet they always rabbit on about how important diversity is in order to try to achieve their goals. I find that Muslim call to prayer one of the ugliest sounds I have ever heard, though maybe that is just my nasty old Islamophobia showing itself.

Rightly so, tim.
Diversity accompanied by full assimilation to the host country can have positive benefits. Cuisine, dance, music, art, etc. can actually enrich the host country.
The problem is diversity without assimilation. This leads to multiculturalism, which is always bad for the host country.
And muslims never assimilate…
owensgate says
I despise “democracy”. Stop it with this democracy is some kind of “Wonder Drug” nonsense. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what’s for dinner. Democracy has its own agent of destruction built in – it lasts only as long as the electorate is kept in ignorance that they can vote themselves goods, and “stuff”, from the public trough. Today’s electorate are “woke”, and the ballot box stuffing is in full force. And don’t get me started on “Diversity”. Diversity is NOT “strength”, it is a key that will destroy us. The invention and “praise” of the Hyphenated-American has turned us against one another. Our Founding Fathers would be appalled at what their genius had created has turned into.
tim gallagher says
Thanks for the comments. owensgate, so are you saying that you want some fascist tyrant to run our democratic countries? Or maybe we should go back to giving power to some King or Queen. I agree with that saying, which is always attributed to Winston Churchill, that “Democracy is the worst form of government except when compared to all the other forms of government”. I agree with that. The alternatives are far worse. But, of course, like everyone, I do get the shits when the people in society elect people that I think are idiots (to me, left wing idiots who don’t have a clue). But I still believe in democracy. PRCS and James, I just see Islam as the enemy of all our values and, therefore, when I hear the crap from Muslims that praises diversity, when we know Islam crushes all non-Muslims when it gets the chance, I feel like vomiting. Muslims endlessly lie to us on all issues, except when you get the upfront type of Muslim who tells us that they want to kill us or enslave us. I personally don’t mind diversity at all. We have many Buddhist Asians here in Australia and, from what I have had to do with them, they are OK people, and seem to be able to get along with the other people in our society. With most Muslims, forget it.

I was just going to cite that quote from Churchill to Owensgate. So what do *you* prefer to democracy?
Communism? Monarchy? Fascism? How about Shari’ah?
tim gallagher says
Yes, gravenimage, the quote from Churchill is a great quote. It says it all. I have one other quote that I think of in relation to democracy. It’s not a quote, but the title of a book of essays by the English novelist, E M Forster. It is mostly reviews of literature, but also a few political essays he wrote, I think, during World War II, or in the lead up to it. I have a copy of it lying around and I read some of the reviews of literature he wrote a couple of years back and enjoyed them, probably more than I would enjoy the actual books he was reviewing. The title of the collection of essays is “Two Cheers for Democracy” . Not three cheers, but only two. The title is expressing a similar sentiment to the one Churchill was expressing. Democracy is still the only form of government I can support. I mean, look at the monsters who run China or North Korea or most Muslim countries (though I suppose many are sort of Muslim democracies, but I bet they are as corrupted as hell). People are just stomped on like nobodies by such regimes. As I said, I get annoyed about the idiotic governments we sometimes end up with, but I believe, well, if that’s what most of the people wanted, then we have to cop it for a while.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Tim. And Democracy is *not* just mob rule as some seem to think–a true democracy has safeguards for minorities and the individual.
I have read some E M Forster, but not this series of essays. I’ll seek it out. Thank you for the recommendation.
tim gallagher says
gravenimage, I don’t know if it is worth your going to the trouble of finding that E M Forster book. I had read a couple of his novels years and years ago when at university, and I didn’t mind them, but wasn’t a big fan. I tend to have books lying around for ages and sometimes never get around to reading them. This book of essays was one of them. I didn’t read the essays on politics. I suppose I know where I stand on those issues. Also I thought, well, the essays about politics are about times so long ago now. There are essays about art and criticism of the arts, but I enjoyed the essays (I think many were radio broadcasts) on some writers. I don’t read much literature these days, but I thought that Forster seemed like a really pleasant and wise guide to the writers. One of the essays almost inspired me to try to read some of Proust’s work, but then I thought, no, I wouldn’t enjoy that and ditched that idea. I just looked around and found the book. In the Preface, Forster writes, about the title, “One of my younger friends suggested “Two Cheers For Democracy” as a joke, and I have decided to adopt it seriously”. I guess, from what he says, his young friend might have been a fairly cynical person. My copy of the Forster book is a paperback from 1974, but it says the book of essays was first published in 1951. Apart from reading some of the reports here at Jihad Watch and a few other news reports, I find I don’t get around to reading much these days. I am writing a few songs these days, which surprises me, as I’m no musician, and I think a few of them have turned to be not too bad.

Had the U.S. been a moslim country from the beginning, there likely wouldn’t have been any churches and bells. moslims wouldn’t ever have been allowing bells to ring if they had any say about it…and there wouldn’t be any new churches built, any repaired, or any bells ringing, or any “holidays” on the calendars to remind people . The “freedom of religion” was written in the Constitution moslims had no part in writing. No matter how many times they claim to a part of the “history” in any way but as Barbary pirates, kidnappers and extortionists.
The arrogance he demonstrates is sickening.

Everyone should read the article because this lying adulterous, corrupt “rep” for islam has a large hand in what is going on in that State.

I would like to know where is the ACLU and the Freedom From Religion orgs? The first call is at 5am and the last is 10pm. All the atheists say the sight of the cross hurts their eyes. Wait until they hear the caterwauling 5 times a day.
I thought our government wasn’t supposed to put one religion above another in any way.

I lived on Cedar Ave for about 7 years as a student, a few blocks from the Muslim area where they are going to do this. I cannot believe my city would do that. It is very close to the state university and a private college. Perhaps they will be able to hear it from windows in the classrooms and offices. What will they think of that? It used to be an American city, not a refugee camp or mini-UN. Why in the world are they doing this? It must be like the quote from Chesterton, when people cease to have faith in their religion, they do not have no belief, they believe something else. In this it is somehow a vicarious sense of faith through an exotic inexplicable religion that they can idealize with no reference to what the doctrines and strategies state and how they will affect people. No doubt they want the practice of islamic saturation to kick in gradually and bit by bit. That is probably a leftist strategy to destroy American culture in order to replace it with leftism. But of course the strategy of the Muslims will not be the same. Perhaps one should think of moving to suburbs or towns where that is not happening.

James, I don’t think we should cede our greatest cities to Muslims without even a whimper. Good people need to speak out!

Adhan over loud speakers in Minneapolis, but NO crosses allowed on Church buildings in UAE or Arab Gulf states , NO church bells either, Catechism is illegal . Mosques in the US and Europe are OK but No tolerance for religious freedom in Islamic countries , where Christians are intimidated daily. By contrast, Muslims continue to be emboldened every day in the USA.
Yet not one single “Einstein” among our legislators in Congress has ever heard of DHIMMITUDE much less to understand the scope and danger of its meaning.
Truly , America is free, It is free to bring destruction upon itself from within. America is losing its identity out of its own ignorance, sadly.

I propose the following call to prayer 10 times a day:
“Yahweh is greatest; intoned five times.
I testify that there is no God but Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; intoned thrice.
I testify that Jesus is the Son of God; intoned twice.
Come to prayer and worship; intoned twice.
Come to salvation in Jesus, who died for your sins and rose again; intoned twice.
Jesus is greater than all other ‘gods’; intoned twice.
There is no God but Yahweh; intoned once.”
Broadcast this message over loud speaker and news media 10 times a day, with church bells to accompany!
I’m FOR IT!!!

I would call the broadcasting of the Islamic “Call To Prayer” as a form of noise pollution that should be illegal due to the disturbing of the peace.
If there are any individuals that live in the area where this “Call To Prayer” can be heard and they are not Islamic, then they should file a civil lawsuit against the city and the mosque where this noise is coming from.

Another way for Muslims to rub their dominance in all Americans faces.
Meanwhile, Christians and Jews are literally being persecuted for simply sitting in their cars in a parking lot obviously following the social distancing and unconstitutional regulations via $500 fine.
It will only become worse if Americans don’t start standing up in the masses and I mean not just a couple hundred, I means thousands.

Anyone from Minneapolis? Please request the Lords prayer 5 times a day. Even just once a day. Of course they won’t. It would upset the Muslims. What a conundrum.
somehistory says
If they requested and were refused, they could take it to the Courts.
Since the moslim from c.a.i.r. mentioned the “allowing of bells,” they should just ring them as loud as possible, hooked up to speakers if necessary, every time the barracks calls their soldiers to war.
This would be likely to raise the ire of even the mayor, but what could he say that wouldn’t be taken by the Courts as religious discrimination?
OLD GUY says
Remember the loud speaker trucks of the early 1950’s that drove through neighborhoods selling ice cream and political adds, time to bring them back and drive around muslim/islamic neighborhoods preaching gods word and calling them to christian churches and see how they like the noise. Every time they broadcast the call to prayer we need to ring the church bells loud and clear. You would think that the city would have noise nuisance laws about loud speakers at 5:30am and 10:00pm. and that they would enforce them.
gravenimage says
We still have ice cream trucks here that play children’s music. They have never bothered me; they are a sweet sign of summer, even if I don’t patronize them any more.
OLD GUY says
Loud speaker trucks driving through muslim/islamic ares of the city playing Christian music and prayers should be a good response to their call to prayer noise at 5:30am and 10:00 pm. Seems like our government doesn’t have a problem blocking almost anything christians do as a separation of religion and state, but they are scared shitless of anything dealing with islam. It will once again fall on the people do something about this, as our current political leaders are more concerned with losing a muslims vote instead of ours.
Mike says
Our church, located, in a Seattle suburb, can no longer ring our church bells on Sunday morning because it disturbs the peace and violates noise ordinances. But Muslims are going to be allowed to give the call to prayer five times a day, everyday? I have read almost all of Spencer’s books on Islam and this appears to me to be running true to form for what Muslims do when they enter a new country.

Charles is a traitor; the idiology of Islam is by far the greatest threat to Western Civilization bar none. The barbaric halal slaughter of animals is totally horrific. What could any living creature have possibly done to deserve such treatment? Millions of people gave their lives to fight and overcome the Nazis, they would turn in their graves if they knew what has happened to the UK and other countries. Islam is not just another religion, it intends to convert and rule the world by whatever means necessary, violent or not!

One must ask themselves… “Who is they which you cannot talk about for that is truly the puppet master of all at hand?” I possess hard (i.e. empirical) evidence of corroboration between them (Islam and the entity I speak about). Bear that in mind when you read about/respond to “news” about a certain ideology/religion.

If the American people don’t have the intestinal fortitude to rebel against the illegal house arrest of “shelter in place” and fight against Bill Gates forced inoculations and digital tattooing (mark of the beast) and fight against this Covid-19 hoax–millions should be storming Washington DC and every state captial demanding that America be re-opened “damned the consequences” then how are we going to resist Islam, calls to prayer (the Adan) and the Muslim takeover of The United States of America. This coronavirus pandemic scandal, fraud, hoax is proving that we have become a nation of spineless sheeple.

Or haven’t you even given this that much thought?

Actually, I see this as something we all can capitalize on.. If they allow this here that opens up a host of opportunities for other religions to loudly and proudly express themselves across the country. Any obstruction or rule believed to be discriminatory could be fought, and most likely won in the courts.

Why do you say that Hasan only shot 13 people??? Do only the ones who died count???
I see this happen a lot in articles, the wounded are left out when talking about a terrorist attack. Why is that?
