Several former CIA agents have just revealed that President Bill Clinton prevented them from killing Osama bin Laden in the late 1990s and thereby preventing the 9/11 terror attacks.
“It’s hard to believe now,” said Greg Barker, director of a new documentary, The Longest War, “but back in the late ’90s, most of the Washington national security establishment — including President Clinton, the State Department, the Department of Defense — simply did not view Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda as a serious threat.”

Could it be that the mega-rich Bin Laden family intervened and bribed the Clintons? Nah … couldn’t be. The Clintons would never take bribes. (sarc/off)

It is very well.documented that the CIA made a concerted effort to support the Mujahideen to fight a jihad against the Russians in Afghanistan.
The Americans paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars and equipped both the Al Qaeda and Pakistanis with weapons to defend Afghanistan from “Godless” communists. For years Jihadists were the natural allies of the US in their Near East Policy. These “mistakes” have since been widely acknowledged.
I know little about the Clinton’s extra official life (except about Bill’s much spoken about relationship with his secretary) but doubt very much he took bribes.
The US and the world definitely underestimated the Afghan tribals and their 4th generation warfare tactics much like they continue to underestimate a deeply formented and growing Pan Islamic Jihadist nexus around the world today.
This is a result of ignoring civilizational and cultural features of various countries while framing foreign policy relationships with other nations.

Switching sides on the war on terror and aligning with the taliban to fight against the Russians shows the level of either influence of deception, failure to understand the culture of the taliban or were motivated by the remnants of the cold war issues from Russia that allowed the U.S. to aid the taliban to fight a perceived threat, that may have had more cultural similiarities, even though the churches were then boarded up by the Soviets. Kind of risky hen we find time to aid a war with another nuclear power. Wars to have to be the last resort and only for good reason. Not good to have open borders to allow free passage with out knowing who arrives at your border.

Even back then it was pretty obvious that Osama bin Laden was a threat–especially after the attacks on our Embassies in Africa.

It’s simple. Clinton always placed personal interests and political considerations ahead of what was best for the country. We all know if he wanted to kill OBL he could have found a way legally to do it. To be honest no one thought terrorism was a direct threat to the homeland.
Even after 9/11 the bureaucracy was not of the opinion that Islam as and ideology was dangerous and they still don’t. Worse still, and largely due to our ‘free press’ kowtowing to the enemy ever since, little has changed.
Our leaders have to find a better way to get the issue out front and center. Trump made an effort with ‘they hate us’ line. Another could be a form of shaming and keeping the spotlight on the differences in donations to natural disasters from Muslim organizations in the USA vs other religious organizations. Another would be to point out the disparity between honor violence and FGM in the Muslim communities vs other religious denominations. Another would be to point out the number of terror related convictions between executives of Muslim organizations in the USA and all others. Finally, religious affiliation statistics should be required of states as part of the law enforcement support they receive from the federal government. Much more needs to be done.

Until morals and moral outrage is restored in the psyche of Americans and Westerners generally, the West will continue losing the battle against Islam. A young girl got raped and then urinated on by Muslim boys in Idaho and the disgusting police and court ended up siding with the Muslims – and vilify the girl’s parents.
Thousands of girls all over England have been groomed and raped by Muslim men, more than 90% of this human vermin from Pakistan, and for years authorities, not least police, concealed this crime and protected the Muslim rapists – instead of having these wretches deported after serving time in prison.
All over Europe girls and women, one in her nineties in Austria, have been raped and murdered, and the ‘authorities’ end up – in one way or another – protecting Muslim rapists and murderers. Of course, ‘mental illness’ caused Muslim excuses ‘men’ to behave in this manner, not the Qur’an’s teachings!
After ISIS began being defeated in Iraq and Syria, Canada allowed ISIS men to simply re-enter Canada. The fact that these men had murdered, raped and held sex slaves meant nothing to morals destitute Canadian authorities whose wondrous ‘leader’, Justanass Trudeau said that these men could offer the country something. Oh, they do, a former Yazidi sex slave to an ISIS man in Syria, in London, Ontario, came face to face in that city with her former sex slave owner. She reported this and by a cowardly Canadian official was advised to “keep quiet” about it.
Without morals and a sense of moral outrage against Muslim and other vile conduct, the West is a limp-wristed waste of time. Turkey’s Recep Erdogan knows it and one way or another continues to inflict himself on utterly cowardly Europe.

killing a terrorist does not get rid of the ideology that motivated them. It is the ideology itself that needs to be addressed and dealt with. The ideology of hatred, prejudice, discrimination that Islam preaches is at the root cause of everlasting wars. It is CALLED DHIMMITUDE. It is flourishing within our midst.
Abolish Dhimmitude , you will find peace.
Anything else is futile, or brace for another civil war in 2060.

Exactly. Osama bin Ladin wrote that he wanted to bring Islam back to it’s “glory”, by attacking NYC, he desired to destroy our economy, people, influence upon the world and demand the world live life from the words of the Quran. Had the study of the Quran been part of our national security taking out Bin Ladin may have temporaily stopped his attack but others “may “have carried it out. Since 9/11 and the strategic penetration of the United States and Europe with hijrah migration, the traveling to all lands to spread it’s doctrine and to commit civilization jihad to capture the minds, the rising of mosques, spreading an ideology and influencing or threatening our politicians with terror and enticing with cash and deception of words and actions we are being penetrated…unless we as a nation find our faith of light and resist the darkness enacted with claims of peaceful intentions to control by forced submission or dhimmitude.

Tony, you are spot on when you state ” It is the ideology itself that needs to be addressed and dealt with. The ideology of hatred, prejudice, discrimination that Islam preaches is at the root cause of everlasting wars.” But I think the root cause is the Koran that encapsulates the ideology and it will endure until Islam undergoes a reformation. That could begin in freedom-of-speech countries like the U.S. were it not for CAIR and the millions donated to our universities by
Saudi Arabia and the oil sheikdoms to ensure the study and propagation of
political Islam.

Republican Congressman Dick Armey suggested that the
Clinton weapons technology transfers to China, while he was receiving
millions of dollars in contributions from Chinese agents, amounted to
“treason.”
dailycaller com/2016/11/08/who-is-being-influenced-by-foreign-powers/
T.F. says
Those attempts to influence elections involved agents from communist China who sought to help Bill Clinton get reelected in 1996 by donating millions of dollars illegally to Clinton and the Democratic National Committee. Clinton’s relationship with the Chinese goes back prior to the 1992 election through James Riady, of the Riady banking family of Indonesia and China. According to congressional investigations that occurred in the late-1990s, the Riady family made illegal donations to Clinton’s 1992 campaign and wielded influence over the U.S. policy toward China. During the 1992 campaign, Clinton was a harsh critic of then-President George H. W. Bush for what he called “coddling the butchers of Beijing.” But video later turned up in a 1999 documentary “Trading with the Enemy: How the Clinton Administration Armed China” that shows surreptitiously recorded video of a Clinton associate in China in October of 1992, with a letter from then-Gov. Clinton. That associate, Yah Lin “Charlie” Trie, is seen telling government officials in China that Bill Clinton “wants to invest in China.”
And invest he did.
From the moment Clinton took office in January 1993, he decontrolled advanced strategic weapons technology to China over the objections of his own Department of Defense Export Control Regime, and his own Director of Central Intelligence. Those practices continued through the 1996 election and represented a drastic change from his bellicose words for China in the 1992 campaign for which he cited their atrocious record on “human rights,” and their proliferation of “dangerous weapons technology” — weapons technology that was far less dangerous than what Clinton provided them.
The Chinese reciprocated by pouring millions of dollars in illegal campaign donations and even contributed to Clinton’s Personal Legal Expense Trust Fund through multiple sources that were identified by congressional and FBI investigations to have come from high level Chinese intelligence agents. House and Senate investigations of what became known as the “China/Democratic National Committee Fundraising Scandal” turned up startling details of how deep the Chinese penetration of the Clinton Administration was. All of this was documented in congressional reports on the subject and by nearly every major news agency as well as in the documentary “Trading with the Enemy.”
The Department of Justice investigation under Attorney General Janet Reno sounds familiar to our present day. Reno steadfastly refused to appoint an independent counsel to investigate despite demands not only from Congress, but from her own FBI Director, Louis J. Freeh, and Charles LaBella, a senior U.S. Attorney whom Reno appointed to oversee the investigation. The Reno Justice Department indicted several figures in the money laundering scandal.
Sadly, those who became the most important witnesses for the government’s case received the harshest penalties, while those who kept quiet and handled the most laundered funds were let off with virtually no punishment at all.
At the time, Republican Congressman Dick Armey suggested that the Clinton weapons technology transfers to China, while he was receiving millions of dollars in contributions from Chinese agents, amounted to “treason.”
Rob Porter says
From a foreigner, it seems that the U.S. continues to have an utterly rubbish and corrupt Department of Justice – and the FBI appears hardly any better. For all his lies and nefarious activity, why has James Comey escaped prosecution? The same applies to James Clapper, a pathetic liar, John Brennan and Hillary Clinton? Why is it that only delinquent Republicans land up in prison – and delinquent Democrats do not? The Democrats must be laughing – not least at Republican ineptitude, lack of conviction, or whatever the devil it is.

The justice department seems to have gone rouge with power, did it fall to the wrong hands. Too much, power, chocolate or cash or both to almost appear seditious as it waves in sharia.
Or did it convert?

I would argue he also brought the Country one step closer to moral bankruptcy. We was attending a townhall at some University when a young female asked “Mr. President, we all want to know, is it boxers or briefs?”
Now this was a learning moment. He could have upheld his solemn duty to lead by saying “what an inappropriate question young lady” and moved on, but instead, well, you know the path he chose and the “toothpaste” on the blue stained dress that awaits him.

I remember while sitting in my vehihcle listening to my car A.M. radio, reports about the transfer of patents of U.S. technology to China, allowed by Clinton, apparently positioned that was to modernize China, that swifty went silent. The effects soon surfaced as factories closed, we were then flooded on the southern border by immigrants that found work in our remaining manufacturing centers who may have also been foreign owned. China started to become the supply source and producer of the many products that I inventoried lately and find in my home, such as computer units ,phones ,to key boards, T.V. meat, refrigerator, wood, laudry equipment, irons, clocks, lamps, coffee machines to medications, dishes, glassware, towels, rugs, car parts,, to lamps to food, lumber, hospital equipment, lawn mowers, clothing, sewing machines, cleaning agents and over the counter medications, roofing material, and yet many dispute it is now a world power. It started off slowly hardly unnnoticed , at first not of good quality, but quickly improved, until its producers filled my home and the country became so dependent we have to use their technology to buy medical supplies from China for our protection from a virus. In some states such as Illinois they work on services of tollways and maintenence. So your excellent detailed comment T.F. reconfirms what I heard a reporter who just happened to get my attention many years ago and stated it had been done, in the 90’s exactly what I heard while sitting in my car feeling just as fearful from that one reporter release, that reported about this massive decision about production and patent transfer, and I lived to see the transformation of America with the results as it had begun to be initiated. To learn about military technology and their building expertise and strategies is another piece of the puzzle of a world economy and intelligence loss.World economy or world dominence?
But they never flew planes into our buildings as Bin Ladin’s plan or attack….but the ideology that did is just under the surface and is even less known. And they just walked in or flew 1st class to transfer another type of virus.
