What a sexy, fun adventure Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland took us on in My Favorite Souvenir. Jam packed with all of the naughty moments and genuine, raw emotions I expect from this duo, it was a story that went in a rather surprising direction–but one that I definitely enjoyed.

I literally gasped at the ending when he proposed. If you ever stop writing maybe have self help romance seminars for men and women

The Ending…Swoon!
Matteo and Hazel are both stuck in Vail when their flights get canceled due to snow. After some manipulation, Mateo and Hazel pretend to be brother and sister in order to have a hotel room. They end up taking a road trip together, each day getting to know and like each other more and more. But they are in for quite the surprise.
So first, her “friend” Felicity is a horrible person. Second, why did Hazel never question her EX about anything. Which leads to and third, it was her EX therefore she did not owe him any explanations! Once you read you will understand. All that to say, other than above, lol, this was a great, sweet yet yummy read.

Hazel Appleton was suppose to go on her honeymoon to Vail, CO but when her fiance calls off the wedding, she decides to go on the non-refundable trip by herself anyways. After spending a few days there, Hazel decides to fly back home but instead gets snowed in. Trying to find a hotel, Hazel ends up at a hotel where she's hoping and waiting for a room when she sees a guy, Matteo Duncan, acting suspicious. She quickly realizes that he is eavesdropping on the hotel staff's conversations. When all of a sudden she realizes that this gorgeous man is pretending to be someone else in order to get a room, she jumps up and plays along pretending to be his sister since the reservation is for two. Thus starts the adventures of Milo and Maddie Hooker.

Hazel and Matteo both decide to not use their real names and just go by Milo and Maddie. Vail just happens to be the town that Milo grew up in so he spends the next few days while they are snowed in showing her around town and finding fun and interesting things to do. When there time is up, neither of them want to leave the other....the are having too much fun! Instead they decide to rent a car and spend the next few weeks driving across the US to get to the east coast where they both need to go.

As Maddie and Milo continue on their adventure, real feelings start to get in the way. Instead of acting on them, they decide to meet up in a three months and if the feelings are still there, then they will act on them. Of course real life gets in the way in a BIG shocking way and Hazel is going to have to dig deep down to see what she really wants for her happy ending.

I just freaking LOVED this story! I could not put it down and basically read it in 24 hours! I just adored Hazel and Matteo. They were both so fun and free spirited together. I loved every minute of their journey and I will never look at pineapples the same way again! ;) I cannot say enough wonderful things about the book except read it....you will not regret it!

Hazel was dismissed by her fiance with her honeymoon two months away and when the date arrived she thought: "I'm going to enjoy this trip!" And that's it, right? Beginning of a dream / everything went wrong. The first few days were terrible and when she decided to leave early, the weather didn't let her leave town and get her room back. They embody the characters / brothers with everything, except that Hazel has to go home early and surprises throughout the story change the course in a way that is worthy of a Mexican soap opera.

You know that I am surrendered by Vi Keeland's writing and at the beginning of this year I decided to marathon her books that I had not read yet, the woman does not give a ball out and ALWAYS delivers the best couples 🥰 The development of this could not be different and I I found myself completely in love with these two 🥺
