My latest in PJ Media:
Investigative journalist Andy Ngo several days ago identified an Antifa member who has been sought by the Portland, Oregon, police since last August in a criminal investigation. The Portland police didn’t say what the investigation was about, but there are videos of this person appearing to commit assault and unmistakably engaging in indecent exposure (he bared his behind to show his somewhat less than magnificent contempt for the cops). That’s typical Antifa behavior, but decidedly untypical is what this fellow was up to before he got woke. “This is,” says Ngo, “Cary Cary Cary Canary (yes, that’s the new legal name), a former bluegrass singer who became a trans antifa militant in Portland. Canary (b. 1981), was formerly known as David Anthony Chaltraw and released music as ‘Davy Jay Sparrow.’”
“Davy Jay Sparrow” was actually not a bluegrass artist, but a singer and songwriter of Western swing, a cheerful, upbeat, danceable musical style that was popular decades ago and survives today only among musical historians, country music purists, and a small number of hipsters who like playing dress-up.
David Anthony Chaltraw was one of those purists, at least in part: A 2012 review of one of his albums (he released three) says that he was “not a neo-traditionalist, he’s an ultra-traditionalist. If you don’t like the ‘Olde Fashioned’ country sounds, then turn back now.” A review of his next album in 2013 cautioned that it was “not for everyone of course, you have to be an old soul with that old-school flavor for life to appreciate what Davy Jay is throwing your way. But man, what a fun time All Nite Long! is.”
Chaltraw seems for a time to have been one of those old souls himself; he threw himself totally into his Davy Jay Sparrow persona. When he got married in 2011, the wedding was a Western swing extravaganza, with the groom decked out in elaborately embroidered cowboy duds, just like the ones he wore on stage (in fact, he seems to have gotten married in one of his stage outfits).
However, his bride (who wore a more or less traditional wedding dress, albeit one that left her shoulders bare, showing off the tattoos on her left shoulder and right arm) gave a small hint that they were really just hipsters playing dress-up when she explained that the couple’s love for old-fashioned things did not extend to that old-time religion: “Having lives that in large part revolve around old-fashioned things in general, and old-fashioned honky-tonk in particular, it made sense for our wedding to be, well, old-fashioned! Sort of. It wasn’t old-fashioned in the sense that it was held in a church or that any rice was thrown at us, but rather it was old-fashioned in terms of entertainment and decor.”
There is much more. Read the rest here.

Well, that was entertaining. How much assault could xhe commit with those thin little pipe-cleaner arms?

Confused people regularly gravitate to extremist, totalitarian ideologies. Being extreme themselves, ideological extremism looks quite appealing and is complementary to their personality make-up. Sure helps to explain a lot of adult converts to Islam, now doesn’t it?

Wellington,
Interesting point.
Perhaps “confused” people NEED to have someone else think for them…

Anyone who gravitates to the sadomasochist mystique of Antifa should be suspected of an emotional disorder … they are deeply troubled with deep-seated anxieties and hatred. Antifa was apparently the idea of Leon Trotsky, the infamous Russian revolutionist.
In 1934, the governing body of international communism, COMINTERN, said the following:
“The Comintern (SH) is the global center of the international anti-fascist and anti-social-fascist movement. The Comintern (SH) unifies and leads the anti-fascist and anti-social-fascist forces of all countries towards the socialist world revolution.”
They pose as international communists, but the globalists are actually leading a BOURGEOIS COUNTERREVOLUTION led by billionaire capitalists.
What a mind trip that is.

mortimer,
Thanks for the info. You may be also interested in the works of the capitalresearchcenter.org.
One interesting quote:
“Antifa operates under a twisted definition of fascism, labeling mainstream conservatives fascists and lumping them in with white-supremacists and neo-Nazis.”

I prefer Bob Wills and the Texas playboys…

Amen to that. Or for a more recent band Asleep At the Wheel.

From Country Singer to Trans Antifa Militant
……………….
Well, *that’s* depressing.
Davy Jay Sparrow always seemed a bit too stylized and too much like playing dress up to me than actually just playing country music–that being said, I quite liked his stuff. Here’s one:

Saw another one of his songs on Twitter – ‘Death of Me’, he’s not bad!!
Sad commentary of our times, people you haven’t seen in awhile, claim they are a woman. There was a guy who used to promote or train British heavyweight boxers, hadn’t seen the guy in years, and he shows up in a dress and a wig.
Of the people who actually transition, about 50% or so attempt suicide. That’s because anything based purely on one’s looks is always going to be hollow.
The radical Left doesn’t act on their own, they are backed by the globalists who want to see the downfall of western society and Christendom. This gender identity is the latest cheap toy! A mere distraction.
When the bigger issue is our future and how we are going to live – and if we will settle anymore for having the future dictated to us, by these social engineers or planners. It’s time to start taking ownership of our place on this earth and in this universe. And to turn away from the globalist and their puppets’ smoke and mirrors – and look at what we want to be doing in 100 years, say.
If we don’t make these plans – these guys are going to make them for us and they are going to make them against us.
What do we want our kids to learn in schools, what kind of education in the future? How can we get technology to serve us, over the globalists’ model that technology should enslave us. How can we tamper the power of the feudalistic corporations, so we don’t plan to be nickel and dimed for everything in life, forever? It’s becoming like the Inquisition, where corporations have replaced the Church, we are increasingly being told what to read and what to think or listen to – and there are punishments thereof.
Rather than focus on every distraction, we should take a long view. The brutality of the deception is that the people who respect life, will be the ones who make up the majority in the future, so we need to think about how we are going to own it.

This Sparrow persona shows how genuine individuality has deflated in the last three or four decades. An inner nuclear of self-esteem is absent. One day you are a cowboy the next a trans with arms as pipe-cleaners.—Where does this depravity come from? The left, of course. The social-fascists long to see all decent traditionality gone. Then the red fascists construct new ways to be together and to socialize.—The infamous social constructs in modern times has been Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Mussolini, and Hitler.

Since Antifa has begun to make news it’s puzzled me how masked people openly embracing political violence operate in broad daylight with police just standing there and watching.
When Michigan citizens showed up at the state capital the other day with firearms and dressed in hunting gear to protest the draconian coronavirus lockdown the usual suspects in media had a whole lot to say.

Antifa, black lives matter, 1%’ers, coed bathrooms, all the hot buttons the last President kept pushing have quietly sat on the sidelines waiting for the next President. It would be such a shame if Trump is reelected and spoils their reappearance to the world stage. sarc/off

Good career move? You could say the same for Elvis when he overdosed.
