Cheesy on the Eyes: Fake Dating Romcom (Slice) Kindle Edition
Leave it to my little brother to come back home announcing he knocked up his fiancée and the wedding has been moved…to next month.
When he tries to set me up with one of his football buddies, I tell him I’ll be bringing my own plus-one.
Only problem? I’m hopelessly single.
Enter Sullivan Scott, AKA my hero.
We strike a deal: he’ll pretend to be my boyfriend, and I’ll use my mechanic skills to help him fix his boat. That’s it. No funny business, and definitely no feelings involved.
Sully’s quiet and reserved, and I’ve been told I’m too much to handle on a good day. We’re opposites, and neither of us is looking for anything serious.
I’m certain we can keep this strictly platonic…
Cheesy on the Eyes is a standalone fake dating romantic comedy full of laughs, steam, and just enough love to make you swoon.

About the author

TEAGAN HUNTER writes steamy romantic comedies with lots of sarcasm and a side of heart. She loves pizza, hockey, and romance novels, though not in that order. When not writing, you can find her watching entirely too many hours of Supernatural, One Tree Hill, or New Girl. She’s mildly obsessed with Halloween and prefers cooler weather. She married her high school sweetheart, and they currently live in the PNW.

The lines between real and fake quickly blur.
A brilliantly written story with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed.
Sullivan and Thea area quirky pair. As a female mechanic, Thea has learnt that a lot of her relationships are not going to go as smoothly as other women's. Most men are threatened by her strong career.
While sitting working in a booth at Slice her latest ex comes in with his new girlfriend. Not ready to face her ex Thea seeks Sullivan's her in acting as her pretend date. The pair hit it off instantly and their fun banter lights up the pages.
Sully is a sweet, gentle and soulful guy who has always had the knack for reading people. He is funny, charming, independent, vulnerable and he is by far my favourite guy in this series & I was very much anticapting his story and I was not dissapointed at all. I LOVE HIM SO VERY MUCH.
Thea is funny, witty, outspoken and unapologetic about it. She has many insecurities and vaulnerblities brought on by previous relationships which has left her somewhat gaurded when it comes to love. When we first met her in A Slice of Love (the novella) I was secretly hoping she would be the leading lady in Sully's book and I'm so glad she was. I loved her character just as much as I loved Sully. Her family was amazing & my heart broke for her a few times with how she had been made to feel previously but she truly was amazing.
Sully & Thea were so perfect together and I loved how their differences and opposite personalities just seemed to fit. This entire series is one of my favourites and getting to see all the interactions with each previous character in this book just made this all the more special. I could easily read about this group of friends and family forever.
This slow burning book captured my heart. I love the type of guy Sully is. He is so sweet and caring and so easy to swoon after. Thea is strong, and feisty, and I love the type of lady she is, she is perfect for our hero. Their chemistry was seen from the start, I could feel it burning through them as they met. And who knew Sully liked to be a little demanding... I liked it a lot!
This author is definitely one of my favourite rom-com authors and I could devour her writing all day long. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next! I am going to miss Sully and the rest of the Slice crew, I plan on revisiting them all very soon!
I loved everything about this book and how it all ties together with the other books. I can't wait to see what Mrs Hunter comes up with next.
Sully is that character who appeared in each of the earlier books, that you always wanted more from. Well... this is his more. And boy was it worth it.
Teagan Hunter smashed this series out of the park, and finished with an absolute banger. I read it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down.
Well worth the read and you won't be disappointed!

We go once again to a quaint coastal town and the pizzeria, Slice, a favorite of locals and tourists alike. Thea Schwartz likes Slice as her place to catch up on paperwork for the automotive garage she runs with her father, but she especially loves the aroma. Mmm, pizza. Something she’s never liked, so there’s no temptation.
Sacrilege right? Aside from being the only person in the universe who doesn’t like pizza, Thea is a no-nonsense gal -- all straightforward and tough, living life out loud and without a filter. What most people don’t know is that she’s really a great big scaredy cat inside. When it comes to love, that is. So when she needs a fake boyfriend for her brother’s wedding, there will be no feelings involved. Zip. Zero. Nada.
After rescuing Thea from facing her ex and his new arm candy alone at Slice one day, Sully is intrigued and agrees to fake date Thea. But Thea just may be in over her head with Sully. He's the strong, silent type, which you always have to look out for. Of course, he's handsome and all manly man, but there are depths full of emotion with this guy that he reveals to very few. Not even his bros, when they accidentally wander into the feels on a rare occasion that can likely be blamed tequila.
Once again, this crafty indie publisher had me laughing out loud while taking me on the best kind of emotional ride. With delightfully engaging characters, a bromance to beat all bromances, plenty of laughs and a nice dose of steam, this fantastic, humorous, touching romcom is absolutely not to be missed!

One of the things I love most about Teagan Hunter books are the interconnecting characters, our Heroine here Thea, is the sister of Jonas, who was the hero in the previous book. In fact, it is Jonas’ wedding that Thea enlists Sully’s help as her fake date. There is also a mention of one of our other favourite couples being Sully’s new boss, but I’ll let you find out who it is for yourselves. Needless to say, this left a huge smile on my face after reading and made me want to do a reread on one of my other favourite TH books.
Thea is hysterical, she has absolutely no filter, a hatred for pizza, an uncontrollable sweet tooth, works as a mechanic managing one of her fathers garages and has absolutely no trust in the opposite sex after being burnt in her last relationship. Dating is hard for Thea as she’s not looking for long term, it’s even harder dating in a small town where everybody knows each other. Whilst trying to get some work done in Slice, Thea’s ex walks in with a woman in tow and to avoid the inevitable awkward conversation, Thea grabs the first man she sees and begs him to play her pretend boyfriend, this just happens to be Sully.
Sully is total book boyfriend material, as laidback, loveable and insightful as ever in this book, he has his own trust issues from his past, but prides himself on his gift of reading people and knowing when a couple belong together. When a crazy lady grabs him in his favourite pizza place and begs him to fake date her, he is intrigued by the fact she’s the only person he can’t get a read on. Agreeing to help Thea, the pair begin to spend a lot of time together, which inevitably leads them to the bedroom, but they both agree to part ways when feelings become involved. Unfortunately for them both, they can’t stop the feelings they begin to have.
This book is without a doubt, my favourite in the series. I love the escapades of this crazy group of friends, my face hurt by the end from all the laughing and smiling. I loved Thea and Sully both separately and together. I thoroughly enjoyed the growth of their friendship and how the relationship developed. I laughed out loud at Simon, so many times, poor guy, and Thea’s parents are absolutely hilarious. I can’t recommend enough, checking out Cheesy on the Eyes, if I could give it higher than 5 stars, I definitely would!
