Another winner by Miss Dunbar. When I craved for mature romance, I always remember Miss Dunbar's name. She is my go to author for romance over 40. Silver Mayor has the right punch on the characters, story and plot.

Even the story is simple, Miss Dunbar manages to put twist here and there to make me on the edge. I do love the chemistry between the characters. It is sizzling hot.

Overall I do enjoy the book.

You know those sexy, slow burning lusty love stories? The anticipation builds with all those long lingering looks and you just can’t wait for them to get it on like donkey kong? Well this is not one of those stories. I am pleased to announce that there is no hesitation to get down and dirty when it comes to this couple, spontaneous uncontrollable desire is the dominant force in this sexy tale.

Now that I have your attention, let’s talk about everything else going on in this addictive read.

If you have read other stories in the Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge series you may remember meeting Charlie, the town Mayor. The very good looking, charming single father of Lucy and all round good guy. He is completely lost for words when he walks into his bedroom and finds a woman standing there with his grandmother’s ring on her ring finger. Definitely a WTF moment that ends in them parting ways with no police involved.

Janessa and her daughter have moved in with her parents while she figures out what to do next after her marriage imploded. Her husband is a well known sport celebrity that brings unwanted publicity into their life so laying low for a while is just what she needs. Her parents live on the Mayor’s compound and both work for him. This is how she ended up in his bedroom but doesn’t explain why she had the desire to try on that ring… oops!

Charlie is shocked to see Janessa at work the next day when she applies for a job for the local council, why is she suddenly appearing everywhere? Just when he thought they’d had enough close encounters for now, he sees her again on his property watching him work out. He doesn’t know what is going on but he feels completely drawn to this gorgeous girl and the night ends in a way neither of them could have expected.

‘We’re total strangers. I know nothing about him, yet this… this feels like I’ve been missing him my entire life.’

Before too long Janessa’s daughter, Vega, and young Lucy are thick as thieves which means Charlie and Nessa don’t just see each other at work every day but also during their down time at home. The impulsive desire between them is only growing and it seems they are both powerless at resisting something that feels so good. It feels exciting and illicit - it makes them feel alive after years of feeling so alone.

‘But I like being with you. You… you make me feel alive.’ Her breath catches, and then she bites the corner of her lip. ‘Please don’t do that,’ I groan, closing my eyes.’

The chemistry between Charlie and Nessa is ridiculously smoking hot and I ate up every last morsel. This was such a fun and schmexy read. There are a few cameos from characters who may be familiar to you if you’ve read other books in the series and the anticipation for James’ story is at an all time high.

After my disappointment with the last book in this series, I was happy that Silver Mayor showed some measured improvement. Two single parents who have survived less than stellar marriages find it impossible to keep their hands off one another in this sexy seasoned romance.

Charlie Harrington has a bit of a reputation for being uptight and upstanding as the mayor of Blue Ridge, Georgia. He loves his job, his town, and most of all his daughter, Lucy. Janessa Cruz wants nothing more than to find a job and be able to recover both financially and emotionally from the hell of her marriage. She’s thankful her parents have allowed her and her daughter, Vega, to move in with them, she just never expects to get caught in the property owner’s home or for him to be interviewing her for a job she so desperately needs.

I enjoyed watching the interactions between Charlie and Janessa and it was easy to see the chemistry between them. What was lacking was a depth to their relationship as neither one seemed to want to fully open up to the other one given their pasts weren’t all that pleasant. While I did feel they meshed well, I didn’t quite buy the insta-love between them because honestly they really didn’t know one another. Sure they were sexually compatible and their daughters got along famously, but their relationship moved at lightning speed given their circumstances.

I did appreciate in this book that both Charlie and Janessa put their children first (that was a HUGE issue for me in Silver Player). Both Lucy and Vega had been through a lot with their absent parent which is why I think they bonded so easily and why they were both very in tune to what was happening around them.

I loved seeing all of the Harrington siblings; yes all of them as well as their mother. I was so thankful that Elaina was accepting of Janessa and Vega and she didn’t make a big deal of her being the daughter of Charlie’s housekeeper/nanny and gardener/caretaker. In fact I felt like she was really in their corner throughout this story. Another surprise was Cora Conrad and I have to admit, I am now even more curious about her.

Silver Mayor was a solid story and a good addition to this series, while I feel the romance was lacking a bit I still enjoyed it.

Mayor McSteamy Charlie Harrington steps out of the Town Hall Of Blue ridge in his sharp Suit and takes my vote!
Harrington brothers are a sexy bunch of handsome siblings. Mayor is Uptight. Rigid. Goody Two-shoes Charlie. but don't let it fool you, it's an image. He's got a butt slapping, hair pulling, hand tying, kinky side to him that will leave you panting for more...

description

"He’s everything I’ve never had and should not desire. Smooth on the outside, he’s domineering on the inside, and it’s a turn-on when it should be a warning."
When his bedroom sees an unexpected intruder - Jan"Nessa" who's caught red handed, or should we say finger stuck In his grandmother's ring, the fire starts smoldering in their hearts.
They're both single parents and know a thing or two about being an arm candy to ambitious spouses.
Lonely hearts connect at the metal fence and continue their Hard wok in the office cough* desk * cough. and all over the house.
They're very persistent and conscientious workers you see..*wink wink*

description

"One last time and then we stop. However, I can’t stop. I can’t shut off the way my body craves her or the way my heart bleeds into the mix."
I loved the up righteousness and compassion of Charlie and fiery and relentless spirit of Janessa Cruz
Together they were unstoppable. Riled up by their passion, they couldn't keep their hands to themselves and walk away. This is tough in a small town full of gossiping ladies and scandalised population
Anyway, whoever said Love was easy!🤷‍♀️
It's in the same vein as earlier books, mature love story which is such a refreshing change from run of the mill stories floating around. I think LB is on to something

A sexy, lusty love tale of a by-the-book small town mayor and the gorgeous bombshell who turned his world upside down while stealing his heart.

Charlie Harrington is not only a great lawyer and good mayor who loves his job, he’s also a wonderful single father who’s always stayed on the straight and narrow path -- except for that pic that dubbed him Mayor McSteamy. He never thought he’d fall in love again, much less with a beauty that has trouble written all over.

Janessa Cruz moved back with her daughter to Blue Ridge with her parents looking for a fresh start. She severed all ties with her famous ex-husband and just wanted to lead a quiet and unassuming life. She couldn’t have foreseen the irrefutable attraction between her and Charlie nor the potential of scandal for both of them. Can their love overcome the obstacles they face?

With SILVER MAYOR, L.B. Dunbar produces a sizzling, unputdownable single parent romance. Brimming with explosive chemistry, tension and emotion, we meet Charlie and Jenessa in a very interesting and compromising position that changes their lives forever.

Flipping page after page I was captivated by Charlie and Nessa’s sexy story. Even though it was out of character for him, Charlie was not shy about letting Nessa know how he felt about her. And while was hesitant to let Charlie get to know the real her, she was bold and decisive when it came to their chemistry which was most definitely explosive.

Silver Mayor is a standalone romance from the Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge series by L.B. Dunbar. It is a sexy, swoony, compelling romance told from both points of view with a happy ending.

I reeeeeeeeeally loved the vibe of this book. It was just delectable! LoL

This is a book that will grab and hold your attention. Everything about the book is relatable and realistic. It is heartwarming and fun with sprinkles of #feels that might gut-punch you but it is all wrapped in love and hope. It was sexy and passionate and the chemistry among everyone was perfectly written! It’s a second chance for both Charlie and Janessa to have a future with a partner beside them for the good and the bad and everything in between! This story was a joy to get lost in. I just have no idea what I ever did before I discovered this woman's words!

Audio edition. Teddy Hamilton & Kelsey Navarro.
Ok, I did think that this would be a light fluffy tame romance. Uh uh.
This was smokin' hot. from start to finish. Wow, this two have some chemistry.
There's just too much sex!! (said as I clutch my pearls). But seriously, I really loved Charlie and
Janessa's (not slow) burn. I would say this is more insta-burn than insta love.
They'd both had really bad bad exes. They each had custody of a daughter- the same age!
Charlie and Janessa are in their forties. They are in great shape and attracted to each other.
That's a good thing, since they can definitely match any other 20 or 30 something couples.
I really enjoyed this, but I felt funny reading this during Christmas week.
I enjoyed the narration. This takes place in Georgia, but Teddy's N/E accent was fine by me since i'm a big fan anyway.
Great job Ms Dunbar. (she's a Smartypants author!) I got this thru Hoopla.

Silver Mayor is #3 in the Silver Foxes Of Blue Ridge Series, and focuses on brother Charlie, the mayor of the small Georgia town. I've really liked the other books in this series as well as the series before it, but Silver Mayor was a bit of a clunker for me.

I just never felt that Charlie and Janessa connected in any real way. Their entire relationship seemed more like a friends with benefits situation. Which is totally fine -- they are both divorced, single parents, and I liked that they found comfort and companionship in one another. There are some added complications to their affair since he's the mayor, she works for the town, and her parents are his housekeeper/groundsman. I just never felt that they connected on a soulmate level, and their relationship seemed to be all about sex. For instance: She’s clearly upset about something, and not having any idea what has her in tears on the floor, he takes that as an invitation to initiate sex in his office while consoling her?

Janessa has some massive walls up -- and once her story unfolds, the reasons are explained why she's so secretive about her past. But Charlie seems to fall head over heels with her before he knows much about her. I just didn't feel it. That said, I thought that Charlie and Janessa did have a very nice connection as companions. They both understand what it's like to be married to a public figure, and that stress didn't only impact them but their 10 year old daughters as well.

This book was well-written, as are all of LB Dunbar's books that I've read. I just didn't click with Janessa and Charlie as a couple I wanted to root for, and that made all the difference in my 3-star rating versus a 4-star.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

5 Star Review Silver Mayor (The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge #3) by L.B. Dunbar

I have been looking forward to Charlie Harrington’s book and I loved it. In fact this may well be my favourite to date. I have only read a few books by L.B. Dunbar and I have fallen in love with her style of writing. The fact that she writes “Silver Fox” stories for the over 40’s is most definitely a win for me, since I am well over that age bracket.

I love single parent romances and this one made my week as both the hero and heroine are single parents. Janessa (Nessa) Cruz was the perfect partner for Charlie; they made a fabulous couple, I loved them both individually and particularly together.

With Charlie’s daughter, Lucy and Nessa’s daughter Vega becoming fast friends and joining forces, not only will they have to see each other at work but out of hours too. Both Charlie and Nessa have baggage and at times I was brought to tears, however the chemistry that sizzles between them was impossible to ignore.

This story grabs you from the first chapter and will not let you go until the end. Silver Mayor is a well written, strong, second chance at love story with characters that are easy to relate to and whose story you will quickly become invested in.

Silver Mayor is a totally heart warming, smoking hot story that had me smiling throughout. It is a great addition to The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge. One click this little gem, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I read the blurb for this story months ago and it grabbed my attention, but since it's part of a series I thought I would read the others first. Bonus since it was on KU. But I hated the main character and I really couldn't read it so I dnf it at 20%. And since then I have been dreading having to read this.

But I pulled up my big girl panties and started reading and I quickly got lost in the story. The chemistry between Janessa and Charlie was so hot I could feel it crackling on my kindle. And I loved that their daughters became insta besties as ten year old girls tend to be.

Unfortunately for me the characters both had so much going on and they both acted like idiots without communicating. They both acted so rashly and immaturely and every time I thought they were going to have an actual conversation they either said stupid things or had sex. I just wanted to strangle them.

But I also couldn't put it down. It was like a bad soap opera trying to figure out which character was going to do the next dumb thing or actually acknowledge their feelings. And I couldn't look away. So while I didn't love it I also didn't hate it and now I have to figure out how to rate it.

I have come to LOVE the writing of LB Dunbar. She writes characters that are around my age and who experience the same types of things that I can relate to. Charlie and Nessa BURNED up the pages. I love that they could not get enough of each other. I just wish they had been a bit more willing to trust the other about their feelings.

Yes, this is in the middle of the series, but have no fear if you haven't read any of the others. You can easily read this as a stand alone.

I love this series and whenever I find myself back in Blue Ridge I feel like I’m home, it’s like I’m visiting family and friends and the Harrington’s always make you welcome but Charlie
Harrington was the book I have been waiting for, I needed to know his story and let me tell you it did not disappoint this book was everything I expected and more. Silver Mayor is a great addition to The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge and this is a series I highly recommend, it’s a breath of fresh air reading about lovers who are mature and who know what life is all about.
Charlie Harrington is not looking for a relationship, he is happy with his life as Mayor of Silver Ridge but that’s about to change when he meets single mum Janessa Cruz.
Janessa is looking for a quite life, she just wants to go about her business unnoticed but a misunderstanding that leads to a face to face meeting with the hot mayor means life’s about to get interesting yet again......
This is a couple who both know a relationship is perhaps not the best way to go forward but when your heart tells you something different from your mind you don’t always think rationally. This is a couple that’s easy to love, they share lots of witty banter and the chemistry is intense, their love story is one that will appeal to all romance lovers and I urge you to one click this gem of a read.

Silver Mayor is Everything and More. Charlie Harrington is just a small town mayor trying to do right by his town, his friends and family and especially his young daughter Lucy what he never expects is to me Jan Cruz in the most unusual of places but once they meet his life is turned upside down.
Jan Cruz is a single mom trying to restart her life for not only for herself but for her daughter Vega. She will do whatever it takes to make them both happy and when she meets Charlie Harrington it most definitely is a start.
Jan & Charlie both can’t help the chemistry that keeps drawing them both to one another, they know they have many obstacles to overcome to find their way to the other. They will find that many people will be in their corner for them to be together including their own daughters. There will be some heartbreaking moments, but just as many heartwarming ones too but what you hope to see is that they can make the good ones lead to HEA.

Not entirely sold on this love story as Charlie is a bit too political and careful but author has him intimate with new employee every chance they can. It's a bit complicated and skeezy. It's just complicated and I didn't feel comfortable reading it. It didn't seem real enough as a relationship.

I didn't dislike the couple but wasn't sold on their relationship.

Silver Mayor - The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

L.B. Dunbar brings us more wonderfully grounded and real stories in her Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge series and more from the Harrington Family.

Charlie Harrington is the town mayor and also a single dad to Lucy.
He’s a stand up kind of guy, always playing by the rules, the goody two shoes of the Harrington brothers but when an unknown female intrudes in his bedroom, the sparks begin to fly and Charlie’s good guy persona is seriously in jeopardy.

Janessa has only come to Blue Ridge out of desperation. Desparation to remove herself and daughter Vega from the turmoil of a divorce and to reconnect with her mother and father.
What she’s not ready for is the spark of attraction between herself and the towns mayor, the ever present Charlie Harrington.
Her goal is to restart her and Vega’s lives, get a job and learn to move forward in life but the mayor plays havoc with not only her passion project but her heart as well.

Two wonderful characters with a similar life journey who find each other at the right time in their lives.
All the wonderful supporting characters from Blue Ridge are present and I wish this series would never end.
Great writing, such profound emotion and a wonderfully realistic approach to these characters lives. L B Dunbar doesn’t always make her characters lives beautiful, but she beautifully sculpts and shapes them with real purpose.

I’m totally hooked on these Blue Ridge stories!

I haven't read one bad book by L.B. Dunbar and I think Silver Mayor is my favorite.

Like always the author amazed me with her writing and her realistic story. This time it's about Janessa Cruz, mother to ten year old Vega, and ex-wife of a famous baseball player, and Charlie Harrington, also single father to ten year old Lucy and a divorcé to a woman in the public eye. Both were betrayed by their former partners and so it's not easy for them to trust other people. But their instant attraction makes it difficult for them to stay away. Sparks are flying the whole time.

I've always loved single dad/single mom stories and with Silver Mayor I got both in one book. I love how both handle their daughters (with love and patience) and their exes (with intelligence and calmness as good as possible). The girls are amazing! I'm sad they had to grow up so fast but they also get a second chance with a loving family.

I really loved every aspect of this story (except Angela and Richards behavior) and can only highly recommend Silver Mayor.

Silver Mayor is the next installment in LB Dunbar’s The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge Series. It follows the youngest Harrington brother Charlie’s journey. And his journey is far from easy, his past is filled with a scandal, an unfaithful ex-wife who honestly gives the actress Joan Crawford a fun for her money with her mothering skills, as well as trying to raise his 10-year-old daughter Lucy and do right by his small town.

Janessa is also a single mom to a 10-year-old daughter Vega, and her ex-husband makes Tiger Woods look like a faithful husband. Not only is he a philander he wants nothing to do with his daughter, nor does he provide any financial support for her. Janessa has to move in with her parents, find a job, and try to not let Vega know that her dad signed a no-contact order and gave up his parental rights.

I do not say this lightly – their Chemistry is off the Charts! They cannot keep their hands or other parts off of each other. And let me tell you Charlie has earned the nickname “Mayor McSteamy”!

But what do they really know about each other, especially when she is in many ways his dirty secret? Can they overcome not being fully honest with each other? Can the threat of blackmail be something their secret relationship that is mostly physical handle? Add in Charlie is used to fixing things, he’s the mayor after all, and Janessa needs to feel like she can do things on her own. As you may guess this causes many issues for them.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE FINAL 2 CHAPTERS!!

This book made me cry a few times, and if you’ve read any of my reviews, you know that if an author can make me feel emotions vs reading them, I’m hooked.

Single Parents galore... Love it

Charlie Harrington is the a single 45year old dad and he is the mayor to a small town. He is happy with the way his life is. Running his town and raising his daughter and definitely not looking for a relationship. Until he meets Janessa Cruz.
Janessa is also a single divorced mother and trying to raise her daughters and getting her life on track again. From the moment she meets Charlie Harrington they have an attraction that just wont seem to go away.
But of course things aren't as easy as meeting someone and liking them. Both of them have baggage and when that baggage comes calling, will they be strong enough to hold on or will it just be too much for both of them to claim this new chance of happiness.

I love single parent books. Its awesome to see how parents try and get their lives on track again and trying to make good life for themselves. And that is what Janessa was trying to do for her and her kids. She just didn't know that she maybe needed someone like Charlie Harrington as well.

‘We’re total strangers. I know nothing about him, yet this… this feels like I’ve been missing him my entire life.’

Definitely an awesome addition to the Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge ❤ 😊

The good one. The one that follows the rules. The one that loves his town and family. The Mayor. Charlie Harrington. He meets his match when he catches Nessa in a compromising position. These two have a slow burn to sizzling romance. I mean the kind where you can't be held responsible for your actions. Wowza.

You know what I LOVED about this book, the book was focused on the main characters. Charlie and Nessa (and their super cute daughters). All characters have messy backgrounds, but it gets a little nerve wracking when the background characters make too much noise! The background story stayed exactly where it should be, in the background and let the main characters shine through!

I don’t think I have read a story about divorced, single parents like this one before. I LOVED IT!

Nessa and Charlie have instant chemistry - from their first awkward meeting in his bedroom! They lose their minds, and their clothes around each other - A LOT! There are some complications along the way, but it is worth it in the end.

You don’t necessarily have to read any of the other books in the series to read this one, but this should make you want to read them.

This was my first ARC from LB Dunbar. I've read and saw recommendations from friends on Facebook and got curious so I signed up for this.

It's a fast paced, older/more mature romance. It was relatable in the sense that I'm around the age bracket. It was a slow burn for me and had only picked up around the middle.

I did enjoy the story overall because I'm a romantic sap. It's a swoony, sexy and explosive single-parent romance.

Good story.
Older more mature couple.
Both divorced, single parent.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Ex drama.
Her ex shows up asking her to pretend they are still together for media purposes.
Other woman drama, his secretary has designs on him.
Neither the Hero or heroine are interested in anyone else or pursue anyone else.
HEA.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series and previous characters from previous books appear.

5 Gold stars for this Silver Mayor.

Silver Mayor is the third book in the wonderfully sexy ‘Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge’ and features Charlie Harrington as the mayor of the small town. He’s a single father to boot and struggles to find time for his ten-year-old daughter due to his mayoral duties. He’s not looking for love or even a relationship when he finds Jan Cruz in his bedroom, but after that first encounter, he can’t get the fiery spirited woman out of his head.
Jan has enough on her plate trying to restart her life and find a job, she doesn’t need complications like Charlie burning down her inhibition and chasing her feelings out into the open. But, when their daughters become friends it’s hard to ignore the one you dream about at night.
Their chemistry and attraction were instantaneous, although they both try to deny it.
But, with their kids and others working together, they find themselves becoming attached. It’s not an easy road to their HEA but even the bumpiest of rides have to end sometime.
This was another fabulous over 40’s story filled with emotion, from heartbreak to happiness, complete with love and laughter along the way.
Only one more brother to go after this. Bring on the bad boy biker!!!

This was definitely the best book in the series so far, but I thought the first 80% was much better than the last 20%. In the end, Charlie just became a complete and total idiot. And that's an understatement. I just wanted to smack him upside the head and say 'what were you thinking?' It was like he lost all reasonable thought with that stunt he pulled. But at least he realized his mistake and quickly made up for it.

Charlie & Janessa had unbelievable chemistry, like over-the-top up against a fence chemistry lol. At times it was a little too much and seemed to be the only thing they ever had on their mind. But at least the author kept changing it up to keep things interesting. Charlie was definitely a man who had more surprises to him than I expected. He was one seriously hot man in the bedroom (or office or laundry room). With all that chemistry though, it was a no-brainer that they were perfect for each other.

And they had a lot in common, although it didn't mean their path to a meaningful relationship was easy. They were both single parents to 10 year old girls (with the same birthday) and their love and devotion to their daughters was inspiring and admirable. They also had pretty terrible exes who could care less about their offspring and used lies and manipulation to get what they wanted. So I was really rooting for Charlie and Janessa to get their HEA after experiencing so much heartbreak.

Besides Charlie being an idiot, my biggest complaint is that the problems with the exes do kind of go away too easily in the end and it left me a little baffled. Such a big deal was made about what could happen with the exes and then it all just magically disappears without much hoopla. Where was the big threat, what happened with the exes? Maybe more will happen in the next book, but it's doubtful given how this one ended.

I am looking forward to James' book. He's such a mysterious character with a tragic past and I must know more!

All that Charlie needs in his life is his career as the mayor and his daughter Lucy. His marriage to Lucy’s mother ended in spectacular fashion and all he wants is to not have to endure anything like that in the future. He will never forget his first meeting with Janessa and ever since then she hasn’t been out of his mind.

Janessa has endured a painful divorce of her own that has left her homeless and with no financial support so she and her daughter Vega have moved in with her parents. It is while she tries to help her parents that she first meets Charlie and their meeting is one she would like to forget.

Not only do Charlie and Janessa now find themselves seeing each other professionally but when their daughters become best friends their personal lives become entwined as well. There is no denying the chemistry and connection between them but with both of them determined to keep their lives private from prying eyes can they ever have a future together?

This book has everything you want and more. Mature characters, hot chemistry and all the feels as they find love is so much sweeter the second time around.

Well one thing is for sure, Charlie Harrington aka Mayor McSteamy really is all that and a bag of chips. A 45 year old sexy single dad running a town is pretty much what Charlie's life has been since his divorce. Until he meets Janessa, who is a 43 year old single mom-pretty much divorced but not totally. Charlie and Janessa have a very strong physical attraction from the start (well after he gets over thinking she was stealing from him) and it only seems to get stronger by the minute. Steamy doesn't even seem like a strong enough word for how they are with each other, more like explosive. They are extremely compatible in that department. Their chemistry eventually goes way beyond the physical though which is awesome but also it's when things get rather complicated due to both of their exes (not the nicest people for sure). Charlie being mayor and Janessa working for him is it's own complication. Keeping things on the DL may seem odd for people in their 40's but it seemed necessary to both of them for a while given everything else going on. I enjoyed their story and loved how their daughters both eventually got in on keeping them together. Love the ending!

This one was a bit different .. These silver foxes are amazing and the fact they are all brothers makes it even better. This is Charlie's story.. As the mayor of Blue Ridge he has to uphold a standard in the public eye.. When his Ex tarnishes that standard he does all he can to gain back the Good Guy image.

Janessa has come to live with her parents and get away from the public eye of her life from her ex husband. All she wants to do is lie low and raise her daughter .. When she meets Charlie it is under odd circumstances and the attraction is instant.

These two can't keep their hands off each other but have to be very discreet as they both need to hold up an image and they are both raising little girls on their own. Lucy and Vera are the cutest 10 yr old girls and have their own plans of playing matchmaker.

In the end will all the issues with the exes bring them closer or tear them apart.

This one was definitely on the hotter scale and still had a great story line. We do get alittle more of a glimpse at the bad boy James Harrington.. His story is gonna be epic!

I absolutely love everything that LB writes. She writes over forty stories that are fabulously good. Charlie and Jan are combustible right from the beginning. Their chemistry is off the charts and their connection is strong. I loved everything about this book. It was sweet but oh so sexy. Really really HOT!

LB writes characters to fall in love with and I fell hard for Charlie. He’s good but underneath is a bad boy waiting to be let free. Janessa is such a fresh air with her independent and confident demeanor that she’s not just a pretty face. I love the the girls and the instant friendship they have.

I’m not gonna lie I did love Charlie but he wasn’t my favorite. I still have a soft spot for Giant. And I am super ecstatic to finally figure out the mysterious James Harrington. I can’t wait for more silver foxes.
