In business circles, I’m known for being cutthroat and demanding. Robert Dumont is a hardass, they say. And it’s true. I thrive on challenges. Taking the family-owned restaurant chain to the next level is my passion.

When my sister’s marriage implodes, I head back to New York, to be there for her and my niece. These are my only two priorities: growing the business and taking care of my family.

My new neighbor is a temptation I hadn’t counted on. Skye Winchester is bold, sensual and I just can’t keep my distance. I’m determined to make her mine. But once I’ve touched her, I want more. I want to worship her all night long.

As a business owner herself, Skye’s got enough on her plate. I was expecting her to run in the opposite direction when she realizes how complicated my life is. Instead, she does the opposite: making my sister laugh, charming my niece… She completely wins me over.

And neither of us can afford to allow that. But how can we stop now?

In the third book of the Very irresistible Bachelors series by Layla Hagen, we meet Robert and Skye. Robert moved to NYC two weeks ago to help his sister deal with her divorce and is looking for a permanent house. Skye volunteered to help her former neighbors sell their house despite having her own business and been busy. One of the potential buyers is Robert and from the moment they met there was a connection between them.
In all honesty, this is my least favorite book in the series. It’s always a given that when I pick an LH book I will get lost in it and forget everything else, but this time that didn’t happen exactly. Yes, the book was good and I had a good time, but there was something that prevented me from loving it. I think that the problem lies with Skye and Robert’s relationship. They didn’t click for me. I am not saying that they were a bad coupling, I just didn’t like how they went from the strangers phase to dating and then becoming an official couple.

As individuals, both of them were great. Robert is a loving and caring brother and uncle. One of the things I love about LH’s heroes is that they love not only the heroine but also their family and they always make sure that they are taken care of. One of the scenes that I clearly remember from the book is when he sent food to Skye and her mother. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot. Skye is a strong-willed and can give you hell if she thinks that what you are doing is wrong. I really liked her.

Despite not liking this book much, if someone asked me whether I would recommend it or not, I would probably say that I would.

Sizzling hot and so romantic! I love this style where the bossy, responsible, handsome entrepreneur sweeps the heroine off her feet by pampering her, showing her his caring side, and blowing her mind with out-of-this-world pleasures. Who can resist business man and chef Robert Dumont? Not me! :-D

Another winning addition to the series, this book is sensual, intense, and has two characters you can admire and feel good about. Rob is a magnetic man, a good brother and uncle, and intent on seducing his lady neighbour. She is a dedicated and generous lingerie business owner, full of energy, and pleasantly surprised by this gorgeous man's attention. Hot lovemaking, spicy and joyful dialogues, and families that matter.

I loved everything about this story. Robert and Skye fall flawlessly in love with sparkling chemistry, cheery conversations, mutual support, and romantic dates in between hectic schedules. I liked Skye's unique love of certain themed reading, and her determination in her job. The scenes with her sister in her workplace where great, as well as all the happy and fun moments with siblings and family.

This busy couple finds true love in each other, and the final chapters are lovely with a little plot twist that amplifies emotions and bonding. A passionate and heart-warming romance.

Once again, Layla, has outdone herself! The relationship between Skye and Rob is so hot and passionate! It didn’t disappoint and I can’t wait for more in this series! I’m able to get ARC copies for free, but have always purchased the Kindle Book when they’re released and reread them. I reread Layla’s books all the time...they just give me warm-fuzzies. 😊

There was magic and romance in the Rob and Skye’s story. This story was filled with so many sweet moments and sexy interactions. Rob and Sky’s instant chemistry was perfect.
Rob might be the most swooniest leading male I have read in a long time. He is thoughtful and sexy. He is totally a man of understated actions. He isn’t looking for accolades he just wants Skye to know he is thinking of her. His love of his niece and care he takes of his sister was total bonus points.
Skye is just the leading lady we all need. She is not overly needy. She is understanding of Rob’s commitments to his career and family. I did like how when she needed to see him even when she knew he was busy she found a simple way to slip in and just be in the room with him.
I really enjoyed Skye and Rob’s Chemestry. The sparks were flying from the first meeting and they next let us. This was steamy with just the perfect pinch of spicy to keep things interesting.
One of the things I particularly love about Layla Hagen’s stories are these big supportive families. The love and pride they have for their family makes these stories some of the best reads. The interactions between all the different siblings and cousins just adds to the fun of the story. Sometimes to many supporting characters can take away from the love interest and their journey but the magic in Hagan’s writing does just the opposite. It actually shows you the leads heart and commitment to each other and those they love. You know that when they finally declare their love for each other it is going to be total fireworks.
I am such a huge fan of Hagan’s stories and will always keep coming back for more. Each of her stories can be read as a standalone. The characters very much have identities and stories uniquely their own. This was a 5/5 read for me. This was such a lovely escape into the world of Rob and Skye.

I love Layla Hagen’s writing. One Perfect Touch is a sweet love story between two hard working, career driven people that find love with one another realizing there is more to life than their careers.

Robert Dumont is sexy, a little bit cocky, a lot confident and hugely successful. He owns and operates a chain of restaurants in LA and New York. He moves to New York to be closer to his sister after her marriage ends in divorce to be there for her and his niece. Rob meets Skye when she agrees to help her neighbour sell their house and Rob is the new buyer. From the moment they meet at the open house there are instant sparks and he is relentless in his pursuit of Skye. He is insanely attracted to her and she him. The chemistry between them was off the charts steamy and explosive.

Skye and her sister Tess own a lingerie boutique. The business and her family is all Skye has focused on until Rob. Now she is quickly becoming infatuated and he is taking up all her thoughts and spare time. Her only flaw was her fear of commitment as it held her back at times.

I love the characters, the setting and the family dynamics in this story. The writing is excellent and full of swoony/steamy moments that in the end made me fall for them and I didn’t want the story to end.

I am fairly new to Layla Hagen but I have quickly become a huge fan of her writing and the stories she creates, especially when it involves tight knit families who are fun, sexy and romantic. It’s effortlessly easy to fall in love with her characters and I always lose myself in reading her stories. One Perfect Touch was an terrific, heartfelt story with swoon worthy romance, hot and steamy scenes, family oriented and a cast of wonderful characters. The story flowed so beautifully and I couldn’t put it down. I loved every word.

I loved everything about Robert and Skye’s love story. They fall flawlessly in love with each other with instant and sparkling chemistry, great conversations and romantic dates. Their relationship is so hot and passionate. I was so captivated by their beautiful romance that I didn’t want it to end.

This book is low on angst but big on the feels! It totally had me swooning and smiling the entire time. It’s a very sweet, easy and extremely feel good read with a surprise happy ending. I am so looking forward to reading more from this wonderful series!

Robert is the CEO of the family restaurant conglomerate who is relocating to NY to support his sister and her niece during her divorce. He is focused on his career and his family which leaves little time for romance but when he meets the neighbor of the house he is considering purchasing he is beginning to have second thoughts about that.

Skye is very close to her family as well and is a partner in a lingerie boutique with her sister. She is loyal and always willing to help out anyone which is how she finds herself showing her neighbors house to Robert and is charmed by his sweet and sexy personality.

Robert and Skye have a lot in common and that includes their relationship to their families and the demands of their careers. What started as two people who enjoyed each other’s company has evolved into something much deeper and although they face some obstacles on their journey there is no doubt that they are a perfect match.

This is the third book in Hagan’s Irresistible Bachelors series. It can certainly be read as a standalone but I think is better enjoyed if you read the series in order. Although the series is titled Irresistible Bachelors it is centered around the lives and loves of the Winchester siblings, the oldest, two sisters Tess and Skye, and the younger two brothers Ryker and Cole and cousin Hunter who is the male lead of the first book You’re the One. A major part of the attraction of the series is the close-knit relationship of this family which is best appreciated if you read all of their stories. Much of the last part of the second book in the series Just One Kiss featuring Ryker involves the set-up of this story as our heroine of this story Skye as the family rushes in to support her and her sister Tess in their efforts to get their brick and mortar lingerie shop Soho Lingerie up and running. I’ve often felt Goodreads does its reviewers a disservice by forcing us to rate books on a 1-5 star scale rather than 1-10. I’m giving this book 3 stars but if I were allowed to rate it 1-10, I would have given it a solid 7 stars.
In this book the irresistible bachelor is Rob Dumont, third generation C.E.O. of his family’s internationally famous restaurant chain Dumont’s. His older sister Annie who plays a major secondary role in this story holds a similar position as the head of the family’s grocery chain. Rob is your typical contemporary romance male lead. He’s panty melting handsome. He has an alpha personality (but thankfully not overbearingly so) he’s a loving and supportive brother to his recently divorced sister Annie, her young daughter Lindsay and a driven and extremely successful businessman trying to make his own mark on his family’s business. Until he meets Skye Rob has been to career focused to be involved in a serious romantic relationship. Recently returned to the New York City area he is looking for a home near his sister so he can be more supportive to her and his niece. As it happens Skye Winchester already lives near his Annie and Lindsay and is helping her former next door neighbors to sell their house which is how they meet when Rob comes to see if the property meets his needs.
It's sort of interesting to me that while the three male Winchesters are fabulously successful in their careers as real estate moguls (Hunter and Cole) and a mutual fund manager (Ryker) the two sisters, Tess and Skye, even though they are the oldest, are only modestly successful as they are concluding their first year in their business venture of owning a lingerie shop in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan where they not only sell but also design lingerie. Much of the story revolves around Skye with Tess running the business, dealing with the demands of being small business owners. Tess is the other major secondary character in this book. I really liked Skye as a female lead. She’s extremely smart formerly being a bio-chemist before leaving that career to start her business with her sister. She’s extremely kind and caring and she’s sexy as hell. Skye’s father abandoned his wife and children when the kids were young and never looked back. Because of this Skye doesn’t trust love. She hasn’t been in a relationship since college which I’m led to believe was a decade or so ago. She’s on the Pill and has a box of condoms in her bedroom but she’s not a casual sex or fling kind of girl. Even though she doesn’t believe in love she has to date a guy for awhile before she’ll sleep with him. Unfortunately, Denis, the last guy she dated, turned out to be a real turd. Then she meets Rob Dumont at the open house she’s holding to help her now relocated neighbors sell their former home next door to hers.
When the two meet its your typical contemporary romance, off the charts physical attraction. Rob flirts with Skye but she has serious reservations about getting involved with a guy who will be her next door neighbor if things don’t work out. Even though pursuing women and relationships are not Rob’s normal M.O. he can’t resist Skye and continues to woo her until they finally end up in bed together. As they get to know more about one another the attraction becomes much more than physical. Other than the fact that both their careers demand much of their time and energies there isn’t a whole lot of angst in this story as the two fall in love and speed towards their H.E.A. And I guess the speed at which they all happens is one of my few issues with this story. My only other minor issues with this story are even though the author was writing a very adult story there were times the voice she used felt like she was speaking to children. I also felt inserting Hunter’s wife Josie’s siblings into this story felt forced as she obviously plans on including them in the series or beginning a new one featuring them once Cole and Tess have found true love. Over all as usual Ms. Hagan does a solid job of creating a warm romance with plenty of steam and happy family feels.

~ 4 Rob and Skye Stars ~

What happens when two workaholics realize there is more to life than just your career??

That is the question that is answered in One Perfect Touch by Layla Hagen. This was an easy read that was perfect for a lazy Sunday or for a relaxing day at the beach. This was a drama free story that is perfect to read at times like what is going on in the world. It was the perfect way to escape for a couple hours!!

One Perfect Touch is the third book in Layla’s Very Irresistible Bachelors series. This one is about Skye Winchester. She is one of the sister’s in the family. This story is told in Dual POV and I thought the flow and pace was perfect. Even though this story is slightly predictable, it is still a truly enjoyable read and one I think all romance readers should read.

As I said before this was a drama free story, but that didn’t mean it lacked for anything. This book still had all the feels you like to see in a romance novel and Skye and Rob had smokin hot chemistry!!! Rob was such a sweetheart, he had me swooning right from the beginning. But let me tell you, he also had his possessive side and it will get you HOT!!!

I am huge fan of Layla’s writing and the stories she creates. I always fall in love with the characters she introduces us to and I always feel like I am a part of the family while reading her books.

I can’t wait to see where she takes the rest of the Winchester siblings. I also wouldn’t mind reading stories about Josie’s siblings or even seeing Anna (Rob’s sister) getting her HEA….she deserves one after what we see in this book of her past relationship!!

So if you are looking for that story that will help you escape for a couple hours or you’re looking for that sweet, feel good romance than this is the story to read. Even though this is the third book in this series, I don’t believe you have to read them in order….No major spoilers for the previous books.

Robert and Skye were fun. I loved their connection and how totally and completely they were each immediately drawn to one another.

I also really liked both of them as characters. I believed in their attraction to one another, and I believed it was enough of an attraction for them to be willing to become involved.

Was this an angsty or deep title? No, it wasn't...but that is not always a bad thing. And, in this case, it was enjoyable.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

5* Perfect Stars

I absolutely love anything that Layla writes and especially when it involves tight knit families who are fun, sexy and romantic.

One Perfect Touch is the third story in the Very Irresistible Bachelor Series and is about the kind and selfless Skye Winchester. She meets Robert Dumont the well-known Restauranteur and Business Entrepreneur when she shows him the house for sale next door to hers. Their attraction to one another is instant but they do not act upon it immediately and fight to hide their feelings for each other. As their friendship grows so does their love for one another.

What they both have in common is their strong love and bond for their respective families and it was comforting to see the love and support they show toward them. I loved everything about the story between Robert and Skye. The secondary characters are wonderful and pivotal to the story.

Once again Layla has written a heart-warming sexy romance with characters you cannot get enough of.

Many thanks to the Author for my ARC in exchange for my honest review

One Perfect touch is like a cool breeze on a hot summer day- invigorating, relaxing, refreshing. It is an expected breath of fresh air that soothes the soul. Layla has given us another feel good treat, book that just makes you feel happy.

In this third installment of the Irresistible Bachelor’s series (which can be read as standalones) we get to meet restaurateur Rob, the sweet brother who is relocating back to NY from LA to support his sister as she goes through a divorce. His path quickly crosses with the adorable Skye Winchester, sister/cousin of our men from books 1 and 2. Skye owns a lingerie business with her sister, but she’s helping her neighbors sell their house- Rob is an interested buyer, they have a sweet and subtle spark, and the rest is, as they say, history. We watch two incredibly likable characters-they are mature, caring, dedicated and genuine-find their match when they least expect it. You can’t help but root for them- and together, they are sublimely charming. Our story is about how they steadily integrate each other into one another's lives- including getting time with their adorable family families, highlighting LH’s love for creating wonderful family structures- and here they make the story that much more endearing and add complexity to our characters.

The plot isn’t action oriented or urgent in pace- we have a steady unfolding of the day-to-day moments that build a relationship- small flirty interactions, dates after work, texts and phone calls, meeting each other’s families. Plus, some yummy steamy scenes- these two are hot! The chemistry is subtle, which I actually enjoyed- their is a believable interest, but we don’t start to see how perfect they are for each other until they start to get to know each other- and then it just seems like they’ve always been together, a naturally and progressive “clicking” that sneaks up on us, and on them.

What I love about Layla Hagen's book is that the love story feels so natural- it just feels normal. She paints a story with a realistic stroke. She gives us a meaningful spark, and then she just allows it to organically kindle quietly and seamlessly through the lens of day to day living. Her stories feel so relatable- and realistic, and that is what makes them so endearing, so charming. This story is basically zero drama, minimal angst, and WOW, that was a nice change of pace for me. Basically our only real “conflict” is just the challenges of real adult life- demanding jobs, family obligations, re-constructing the patterns of your day to day (especially when you’ve been single for a while) to make space for someone else, to account for someone else. THAT is real, THAT is authentic to the experience of falling in love. And, I love how she lets our characters be mature adults- they are in their early 30’s, respected professionals- so they COMMUNICATE with each other, they communicate with their friends, their relationship is healthy and supportive. Some may say that seems predictable, but in a sea of romance books bursting at the seams with action and angst (which I love, too), it actually isn’t at all. We just get to observe the quiet beauty of how people fall in love, subconsciously and intentionally-without any external clutter.

This was the perfect escape- I got all the sweet emotions, had my warm fuzzies, got to get my steamy heat, and had an easy and smooth ride to my fulfilling and adorable HEA. And that ending- ADORABLE. If you’re looking for a sweet, realistic, low-drama romance that just warms your heart, grab this story (or any LH book)- you’ll just FEEL good.

Wow! This was one amazing read that got me so enamored. I'm so hooked with Rob and Skye that thoughts about them still linger on; and kept me wanting, craving for more, days after reading the last page. I guess the effects of Covid19 lockdown increased my insatiable desire to just read on and on, read more pages and never wanting it to end. I LOVE ROB AND SKYE SO MUCH!!! Fell hard and fast for both of them. I couldn't stop smiling and feeling giddy right from the moment they met. Thank you so much Layla for the arc. You totally outdid yourself again. You always give us storylines that are relatable and would captivate our hearts instantly.

This is the third book in the Very Irresistible Bachelor series and I still couldn't get enough of the Winchester family. Every book that gets added just keeps getting better and better. It's the magic that Layla casts upon me that keeps me begging for more of these guys and makes me fall deeper for them as the series grows. I love that Layla not only lets us fall in love with the hero and heroine but also the secondary characters. Having met Skye in the first two books got me so excited to finally know more about her and fall in love with her man as she falls in love with him. And Wow!! Rob was just the perfect match for Skye. The instant attraction got me so excited. I couldn't flip the pages fast enough to read about their next encounter.

Rob was everything I ever wanted in a book boyfriend, so honest, straightforward, caring, loving and most of all, thoughtful. Rob being so thoughtful was what made me fall hard for him. I've always had a soft spot for guys who knows his girl's needs without her saying it. It's like knowing she's your soulmate and somehow you have this strong connection and you know what would make her happy and feel loved. Rob did many things for Skye that made my heart melt and was swooning constantly. I felt his love for Skye even before he said "I love you". I had butterflies in my stomach whenever Rob was so sweet to Skye. But oh boy! I was sweating and my heart skipped a beat with the sexy scenes. You did an amazing job Layla! You got me super excited!!!

This book is kinda "the" book for or me. It has all the ingredients that I always love in my books. Hot and sexy alpha, loving and caring males. Strong-willed, loving and knows-what-she-want females. Storyline with kids by single parents, and most of all, a loving family that would do everything to make life easier for all of them. It's like being part of the Winchester family. They were always welcoming to new acquaintances and made them feel loved.

I highly recommend One Perfect Touch. A light read that would make you feel loved and wish you had a family like the Winchester. Books like this are what we need to be reading right now with all the pandemic and chaos in the world. I'm pretty sure you're going to fall in love with Rob and Skye and the rest of the gang with One Perfect Touch to your heart. Now, I'm off to counting the days till, I will be reunited with my favorite book family. Love, love, LOVE this book SO MUCH!!!

“I wanted her on a primal level, more than ever before.”

Oh, Skye, your story did not disappoint. As is the case with Layla Hagen’s brand of romance, when the hero and the heroine meet, there is absolutely no turning back. There is chemistry from their meet-cute. And Hagen’s newest book, One Perfect Touch, is absolutely no different. In this story, her hero, Rob, and her heroine, Skye, are two sides of the same coin: how do you balance your professional life with your personal life? Hagen’s answer: by simply falling in love.

What is there to love about Skye and Rob’s story?

*Their characterization. Hagen makes their struggles palpable. These are two career people who have lived their professional (and personal) lives in control. When they meet, that control begins to slip because they simply cannot stay away from each other. The highlight of this book is watching these two lose themselves in each other as if they can’t help themselves. As they journey towards a future together, their change illustrates the message in Hagen’s book that love changes, that truly being loved by someone allows you to be the best version of yourself. Hagen develops this message well through her characterizations.

*The connection to her Hagen universe. One Perfect Touch is the third book in her Very Irresistible Bachelor’s series, and while it seems that this series relates to separate bachelors, in true Hagen fashion, these men and women are found in the same family. Therefore, as One Perfect Touch goes, you are treated to more of Hunter and Josie and Ryker and Heather, the heroes and heroines from her other books, which means updates of their stories. Additionally, there are future stories brewing in One Perfect Touch. This is how Hagen keeps you engaged in her storytelling. She wiles her way into people’s love for community and offers them stories that keep them buying her stories. One Perfect Touch is a perfect representation of this community.

Overall, I enjoyed reading Layla Hagen’s newest book. There are times when the narrative felt a little slow, but there is definitely a tension in the story that drives you forward. Yet, it never overwhelms you in the end. Reading Layla Hagen’s stories is really like coming back home after being away. It provides a level of comfort that allows you to fall in love with her characters and storytelling without overwhelming you with too much angst. It feels like the perfect “touch” for romance.

Robert's immediate attraction to his new neighbor is somewhat of a change for him. He's so used to working and focusing his all on his family's empire that a fierce attraction to a sassy woman comes as a welcome surprise. One he intends on pursuing. But Skye's schedule is as hectic as Robert's so how can two workaholics make a relationship work?

As is usual in Layla's writing, the main couple is awesome. He may be used to working non-stop, but once he sees Skye, he's done for, and he never stops trying to show her just how he feels about her. Talk about a swoon worthy hero! And Skye is sassy and sweet with a heart as big as her name, who is the perfect heroine for Robert. A wonderful couple with a sweet and sexy story. Can't wait for the next Very Irresistible Bachelor!

I usually love Layla Hagen's stories and I am so much looking forward to this one. Unfortunately, I couldn't like it as much as I want to. It's still a good romantic book filled with undeniably swoony characters, don't get me wrong. Rob and Skye has an instant, driven, and whirlwind connection and I would ate that up in a second but I felt it was too rushed and everything that happened afterwards is not as exciting as the rest of her books. There were little to no conflict throughout this book, aside from a slight surprise in the end, although that was pretty generic considering. It was enjoyable to an extent, but doesn't fulfill the thrill I usually seek in romance.

One Perfect Touch is a light romance for anyone craving an easy-going mood to read to. Rob and Skye met through an open house in NYC, where she helps out a neighbor to sell their house and Rob being the one who does the buying. They become neighbors and has an instant attraction right from the start. Skye is a business owner along with her sister, Tess and Rob is the CEO of a respectable restaurant empire who just moved in from LA to support his sister and his niece after her divorce. They were pretty amazing together, and as you might notice from Layla Hagen's heroes, he's super adoring and attentive toward Skye. It is one of a contributing factor why I absolutely love reading the author's stories.

It touches an empowering message to women who's her own boss and does not quite fit to society standard beauty in a light way romance do these days. But it also focuses on a wholesome family dynamic. I don't think I will ever get tired of reading about these kind of stories.

However as I said, the pacing of the MC relationship is too rushed that I haven't had the time to adjust to their connection or chemistry. Usually there would be a conflict towards the end to strengthen the bond of the characters but I don't find it here. There was a twist but it was somehow expected and pretty generic in the romance world scheme of things. So overall it was pretty enjoyable but it's really not my favorite.

What I enjoyed about this novel…

Page-turner | Easy-to-read / Easy-to-listen-to | Wonderful characters | Interesting Careers
for the main characters | Neighbors-turned-lovers trope | Entertaining | Romantic | Steamy | Happily Ever After

Format read: Unabridged Audiobook via Audible
Narrated by: Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell
Length: 8 hrs
Release Date: 07-14-20
Publisher: Kemah Bay Marketing, LLC
Writing style: Dual POVs (Robert's and Skye's)
Ratings
Overall ★★★★½☆

Performances by Joe Arden as Robert Dumont ★★★★★ & Maxine Mitchell as Skye Winchester ★★★★½☆
This narrating duo was great together again, but I do wish we'd had more chapters in Rob's POV.

Story ★★★★☆
I really love the neighbors turning into lovers trope, so I was excited to see just how Rob and Skye's romance would develop. And, I'm also a francophile which means that I smiled in delight every time narrator Joe Arden spoke to Skye in French and she'd asked Rob what it meant in English. Squee!

The family issues both Rob and Skye fought to overcome balanced out their developing romance nicely and overall provided low drama which is always my preference. These two were quick to communicate and work through initial misunderstandings and insecurities.

I really cared about the supporting characters, and I liked how they added layers to the Rob and Skye's lives thereby making this family romance series seem so warm, realistic and attractive. Chapter 31 has a cool surprise that not everyone would go for in real life I suspect but seemed so perfect to me.

Hopefully, there will be a Very Irresistible Bachelors book 4 soon which I plan to read via audiobook for sure. I'm looking forward to finding out who makes Cole leave the Bachelor Pack next. ;)

If you’re looking for an addictive and easy-going read, than One Perfect Touch is perfect for you. I did not want to ever put this book down! It’s the type of story that sucks you in and makes you want to hurry and finish whatever you’re doing so you can go back to devouring.

Skye is a very intelligent and kind-hearted woman. She owns a lingerie store with her sister, where she actually develops her own styles and materials. She’s a brainiac and I absolutely adored that about her. She is the type of woman who would do just about anything for the people she cares about. She’s skeptical about relationships due to the fact that she has been burned one too many times. The best part about her is she never gives up. She’s got a determination about her that is very admirable.

Robert is P E R F E C T. He is a high powered CEO of his family’s restaurant business. He moved from LA back to New York to help his sister with her nasty divorce and to be closer to his niece (swooooon). When I say he is perfect, I genuinely mean it. He is so understanding with Skye. He never lets her down, he’s always there to be a listening ear, is so present in their relationship. And good grief can he make you swoon. He’s so sweet and loving when it comes to his family and ESPECIALLY Skye and her family. The saying “if someone likes you they make time for you” is perfect in this scenario. He’s so busy but always puts in the effort to see Skye, if only for a few minutes.

GAH this was such a wonderful read for me. Layla Hagen just does not put out bad books. I can always count on her to make me fall hard for just about every character in her books. I’m so ready to read about Tess, Skyes sister.

Are you ready for a feel good romance? This book had all the oohs and aahs of a sweet, happy romance. Skye wasn't looking for love, she was just trying to be a nice person and help a neighbor out. Rob was looking to get himself closer to his sister and niece to be there for them. These two got so much more than they bargained for.

Rob was happy running the family business and striving to make it even better than it has been in the last two generations. Determined to make it something that the next generation would be proud to take on. But with family also so close to his heart he knew he needed to be there and be strong for his sister while going through her divorce. They have always been close. He certainly wasn't expecting the sassy sexy neighbor who he couldn't resist.

Skye has her hands full with her new business she was running with her sister. Helping it grow and thrive took up most of her time. Her large and connected family took up whatever spare time she had. She has struggled with the love and happiness of relationships after watching her family change and go through divorce. The last thing she was looking for was a happily ever after.

Will Rob be able to win her over? Will he convince her that love might be worth a chance? Will the surprises bring them closer together or tear them apart?

Can't wait to see who is next on the married train?

I needed this story 🥰
One Perfect Touch was the perfect mix of
Character interaction -
The dynamics between the characters? Spot on.
Heartfelt fun -
This goes back to the dynamics. The interplay between the cast was so tangent ... I loved the banter - the teasing - the support
A little 🤏 heart-wrenching -
Not in a heavy angst way just a little bit of betrayal and/or loss that connected our MC's
OCD -
Robert, I could only dream of having my life so organized
Family 🧡-
This was a clincher for me. Hagen somehow made me a part of this.

The chemistry between our two MC's is pretty instant.
Ever been in a room and someone catches your attention and you can actually feel their presence? That is what happened here and it works so beautifully. Even I could feel the magnetic push and pull.

Skye is one of those lead females in many ways I relate to. She is very goal and family-oriented. She knows she can accomplish anything but she also has that little voice that at times needs to be swatted back -- Way back.
Her zest for life just made her that much more driven.
Robert was such an OCD case - Not in a bad way I guess and I can see how he would need that extra feeling of control to balance work and home. He was almost the perfect book boyfriend

I strongly recommend this journey.
A relaxing romance that tickles all the "feels"
Humour - Romance - Family - Love

I loved One Perfect Touch! Layla Hagen has once again delivered an incredible story filled with everything that I love in sizzling romance stories. Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong females, big loving families, who always support one another, and wonderful characters. Layla Hagen has one again shown that she in a amazing storyteller. One Perfect Touch is the third book in the Very Irresistible Bachelor series. I received an ARC of One Perfect Touch by Layla Hagen for an honest review. I can truly say that the books in this series keep getting better and better, and I think that One Perfect Touch is my favorite, with Just One Kiss a close second. I loved every page of One Perfect Touch and could not put it down. Layla Hagen definitely did not disappoint with One Perfect Touch. I really enjoy how she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love knowing what the main characters are thinking and feeling. One Perfect Touch is the love story of Skye Winchester, co-owner of Soho Lingerie, and her new neighbor, Robert "Rob" Dumont, CEO of the Dumont East restaurant group. Skye and Rob first meet when Skye shows her former neighbors' house to prospective buyers. Rob is interested in purchasing the house after relocating from LA to be closer to his sister, Anne and her daughter, Lindsay. Anne recently divorced her husband, and Rob wants to be there to assist her. Rob purchases the house, and he catches Skye observing him when he returns from his nightly runs. Both Skye and Rob, work long hours, but begin spending time together. Their relationship quickly escalates to a sizzling romance, but they want to take things slowly, and not make too many plans for the future. Skye continues to deal with her feelings regarding her father's abandonment when she was a child. Rob loves that Skye always takes care of others and put their needs ahead of her own. I loved that Rob was always taking care of feeding Skye and her family from with food from his Dumont restaurants. Family and work demands create challenges for Skye and Rob. They each reveal their true feelings amidst a surprise plot twist. I love Skye's story and the NY setting. Layla Hagen gave Skye a wonderful story that she so deserved. One Perfect Touch felt like a family reunion and catching up with all the other characters from the other books in the series. I love the characters and the family dynamic in One Perfect Touch, they feel like family. I enjoyed getting to know the Winchester family matriarch, Amelia. I enjoy all the interactions among the Winchester siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing, I especially love their "no secret" policy. One Perfect Touch is filled with all the elements that I have come to love and expect in Layla Hagen stories. I love the bittersweet and poignant moments, as well as the surprise plot twists. One Perfect Touch was a wonderful story. So glad that Skye got her happily ever after, even though she really was not looking for one. I cannot wait to see which irresistible bachelor gets their story next.

This is so romantic and sweet!

Rob moved to New York to be with his sister and niece because he know they needed him after his sister's divorce. And also it's time for him to lead their family business there. He needed to find a house near his family, and when Skye, a potential neighbour, showed him a house, he's immediately drawn and attracted to her. He doesn't do relationships and he's known as a hard-ass in business. Will he be one with Sky or will Skye change his views on relationships?

Sky is one amazing and strong boss lady. It's been a long time since she had serious relationship and she has been burned enough to know better. But when she meet Rob, she knew she lost the will to resist his charms. I loved how the relationship between Skye and Rob had developed. I don't think they're moving too fast or too slow, it was just perfect. I also enjoyed the banter between them. Rob is totally swoon worthy! Their story is a beautiful romance and the family love surrounding is really commendable.

All in all, this is highly highly recommended!

At first, I had no idea that One Perfect Touch was apart of a series. However, the novel can totally be read as a standalone. The novel follows Skye who owns her own lingerie company. One day while trying to help her neighbors sell their house by hosting an open house the new buyer quickly takes her off her feet and asks her on a date. Needless to say, a hot romance begins to ensue with her new sexy neighbor. Both her and Robert are hardworking successful business-led people. They begin to inspire each other in only the best ways possible.

I absolutely adored Layla Hagen's writing style. She had a marvelous way of telling a story and building characters to be both likable and believable. The love story was everything that I look for in a romance novel. It was sweet but also steamy and passionate in all the right ways.

I loved how Robert would not take no for an answer when it came to going on a date with Skye. He pursued her like no other which gave me all the fuzzies inside. Having a passionate man being portrayed was something I very much enjoyed reading.

Sometimes, Skye and her fear of commitment became a bit annoying to me. I mean come on what are you waiting for? Robert is absolutely amazing and likes you too. I felt like she was denying herself happiness that should not have been denied. I get what the author was trying to portray but the build-up was a little too much for my taste.

The book portrayed family dynamics well which I very much enjoyed reading. I loved the relationship between Skye and her sister. Not to mention Robert and his love for his niece. This was a very cute love story that any romance lover would like. Not one of my favorites but overall I very much enjoyed reading it. Still, a very cute ending that left me smiling.

One Perfect Touch is a sweet, feel good romance blending two wonderful families, and features Robert Dumont, the CEO of a family-owned restaurant chain, and Syke Winchester, whom we’ve met in the previous two books in this series. Skye has a sister, Tessa, and two brothers, Ryker and Cole, and a cousin, Hunter, whom grew up with them and was featured in book one. Ryker found love in book two with single mom, Heather, and I have no doubt that the rest of the family will find love soon!

I really adored Layla’s series featuring the Bennett and the Connor families, and if you love small towns, big cities, and strong, smart, seductive heroes, then this book is for you. The author always writes her leading men as if they were pulled from a fantasy. They’re not perfect, but pretty darn close. In One Perfect Touch, Rob is not only well educated and business savvy, he’s a chef, part French, and relocated from LA to NYC to be closer to his sister and young niece!

This sexy man does not mince words when he makes known to Skye how much he desires her, and their mutual attraction and sexy times burn up the pages. In addition, he’s thoughtful, sincere, charming, and totally smitten by our adorable heroine and lets her know all of the qualities she possesses that he admires. Can’t get much better than that!

I loved how Skye was also devoted to her family and that they had so much in common including their temperament. They really got along well and it was wonderful watching their relationship progress. She was a gifted lingerie designer and owned a fashion boutique with her sister, Tess, was not ashamed of being an intellectual who enjoyed reading about subjects that interested her, and couldn’t be more sweet or humble. I admired how she didn’t play games, and how she showed her appreciation by thanking him every time he was kind to her. He often let her know how special she was in words and in deeds, and I especially loved their easy banter and how she would tease him.

This book is a stand-alone but with reoccurring characters from past books whom I enjoyed revisiting. I loved how Skye embraced Rob’s sister who was going through a rough time, and how she stepped up to help her mom when needed without any hesitation. These may seem like simple things, but it shows their strength of character and innate need to give back, which are qualities I look for in my heroes and heroines.

Spoiler–My only wish is that Skye would have realized the relationship was serious, initiated introducing him to her family, and not questioned their future. It was obvious Rob was all in as he never gave her any doubt, and they had both had said, “I love you.”

This book is low on angst and big on feels and will have you swooning and smiling the entire time. It’s a very sweet easy read with a surprise happy ending. I am looking forward to reading more of this wonderful series!

One perfect touch
Is a sweet sexy romance between two workaholics
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review I have read anything by Layla before this is going to change!! I loved how She brought the characters alive making the reader fall for their story. Skye is a hard-working determined independent woman that puts her and her sister's lingerie business first but when she agrees to help a neighbour sell their house for them she wasn’t expecting hot sexy CEO Rob Dumont To be interested in Suburban family home. Rob is a successful businessman that doesn’t let women distract him he has moved back home from LA and needs to be near his sister and niece when he goes to a viewing at a home in the suburbs he wasn’t expecting a hot sexy neighbour to be showing him around sparks fly between them and this meeting turns both their world upside down. The chemistry between the characters is explosive! And they have terrific banter making the reader fall in love with them. This is a fantastic love story that follows their journey. The secondary characters are equally loveable and made this story extremely enjoyable leaving the reader want more. One perfect touch was a beautiful romance I didn’t want it to end!!

Wowza! Can someone hose me off? Talk about freaking HOT SCENES in this book!

Okay...*fans self with hand like a swooning Southern Belle*...let's talk about these characters.

Rob is a chef and restauranteur who owns and runs upscale restaurants in LA and NYC. When his sister's marriage ends in divorce, Rob moves back to New York to be close to her and her daughter. So sweet, right?! He buys a house in the suburbs next door to Skye and the sparks start immediately.

I love a slow burn romance, but it has to have mad-hot chemistry from the get go. Rob and Skye had the perfect amount of immediate attraction and heat, but you have to wait for them to finally get together and that makes the payoff that much more HOT. These two will FLOOD. YOUR. BASEMENT.

My only issue with this book (and it's a pretty small issue) is it's heavy on STEAM, but light on STORY. There is not really a conflict between the leads besides being really busy with work and not having tons of time to spend together during the early stages of their romance. I like a little bit more conflict in a romance. I like it when characters have a larger hurdle to overcome than internal doubt or conflicting work schedules.

This book is perfectly sweet and insanely steamy! I am a fan of Layla Hagen books and this is a great one!

I received an ARC of this title from the publisher in exchange fir my honest review.
