I don't want him.
I can't do this.
That's what my ex said after our son was born, leaving me a single dad.

These days, my world consists of two things: Noah and my bar.
Until her—the woman I want—but can never have.
My ex’s sister wasn’t supposed to be stirred into the mix.

Even though I try to push her away, my son falls in love with her.
As much as I want to keep my distance, I can’t break his heart.

Lines become blurred, and fighting our attraction becomes nearly impossible.
Even though we know it’s wrong, desire doesn’t always fade away.
As soon as we cross that line, nothing will be the same and everything will fall apart. And it does.

If you want angsty single dad and his ex’s sister, then you’ll enjoy this, because Ms. Ferrell provides. The ex is a total DEAD BEAT MOTHA, so literally I was rooting hard for this couple. They were sweet and I loved the connection the heroine forms with the child. I can’t rate it higher, because there were character traits/choices that just annoyed the eff out of me. And even though I did like this couple together they really didn’t spend any time on page just falling in love. It was told to us. I still ended up liking them though, but wish I had seen it develop more. Also, there’s a point where the story moves in circles, and it just felt a little tedious, so i enjoyed it, but I also have complaints. Of course these are all just personal opinions, and I found this one enjoyable enough that I plan to read the next book. I just TRULY hope that it’s not 50% Cohen ragging on the possible hero. I mean I get that it’s angsty, but it’s honestly so so weird when brothers are that controlling over their siblings love lives lol

Stirred is the first book in the Twisted Fox series of interconnected standalones. It is a single dad, small town romance with a forbidden/taboo aspect to it. It has a great mix of sweet and heartfelt moments as well as drama and angst.

Jamie is an ER doctor and hasn't always had the best relationship with her sister which was made worse when her sister abbondend her new born son and boyfriend saying she didnt want anything to do with them. Jamie is a strong, kind, level headed, rational and independent woman and the complete opposite of her sister. One day while working she finds an unexpected patient in Noah, her nephew and his father Cohen.

Cohen didn't have the best life growing up and after his girlfriend left him with their newborn son Noah he decided that he would never let her or her family intervine in his son's life and do everything he can to make sure Noah knows he is loved and wanted. Cohen is selfless, protective, loyal to those who deserve it but he is also cold, distant, gaurded, grumpy and not willing to let new people into his or his son's life.

I really loved this story. It was sweet, funny, passionate, angsty, frustrating at times but oh so very addicting. I loved Jamie & Cohen together and loved ever scene with Noah in it as well as all of Cohen's close friends and family. As much as I loved this book I do feel a lot of the drama and conflict was wrapped up a little to quickly but other than that I truly enjoyed it. I also loved all the mini crossovers from the characters of the Blue Beech series and the set up to the next book has me wanting it RIGHT NOW

This book does involve the trope of Sister's ex boyfriend which I know a lot of people do not like but I would reccomend this readers who like or don't mind this trope.

Single dad/ mom romance novels are something that I really like to read because I love seeing how the h/ H will interact with the child or children of the other person. This book has this trope and I was immediately interested to read it. I was a little hesitant though because of the whole it’s the sisters ex that is the single dad and H. However, I didn’t mind it as much as I thought I would. I don’t normally like them because of the DRAMA that it brings. But the drama in this didn’t really annoy me as much.

The H and h were LIKABLE and I ADORED Noah. I did like Jamie more though than Cohen because i felt like she had more of a personality than him. I also really LIKED the secondary characters and wouldn’t mind reading the next book in the series for a certain pair. I DID NOT LIKE HEATHER AT ALL but I also felt like she didn’t have a personality and she was just there to cause drama between Cohen and Jamie. Overall, I think this was a good read I didn’t skim and I enjoyed certain parts more than others. Do I think this was the best single dad romance I’ve read I don’t think so but it was good.

I never really understand why in the sister double dipping books the sister always has to have a crush on the hero. Why cant they just develop feelings when they meet again? It's so annoying and makes her feel second best

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.

This was such a great story. This is my first time reading a book from this author but I guarantee that it won't be my last!

Charity Ferrell is such an eloquent storyteller. I fell right into the story. It was effortless. The narration was smooth and welcoming. I enjoyed the plot of the story very much. There was a bunch of family drama and I really loved seeing which direction the author was going to take things. The story was very addicting.

These characters were great. I immediately connected with them. They were so relatable. Both Jamie and Cohen were full of depth and they had great character development. These characters evoked so many emotions in me. The secondary characters were amazing. I am so eager to read the rest of the books in this series once they are released!

I loved how the progression of the romance felt very natural. Cohen and Jamie had a past and lots of things to work through but they were able to fall in love despite all the drama in their lives. I loved how Cohen's son was able to bring them together. Because of all the drama in the story, Cohen and Jamie's love story is one filled with many emotions. They also had undeniable chemistry with one another.

Overall, this was a delightful little story with a little bit of drama and a whole lot of emotion. I am really excited for the next book in this series! Georgia and Archer's story is going to sizzle!

If I could I probably would recommend this book to everybody but I need to lay it out this book is not for everyone.
I do not think that is a huge spoiler since the whole "who is related to who" got revealed in the first chapter.
our situation, are complex. It crosses lines even though we technically haven’t crossed any lines.

Before you give them a chance you should know our Hero's ex-girlfriend is our heroine's sister. He dated her for years and they have a son. She is not a threat, there is no love triangle cause he no longer has toward her feelings, they did not see each other for years, she left them behind for another dude. The situation is not ideal, and the circumstances made my heart hurt a bit. They talk about it, so we are witnessing some real storm inside their head.
"I’m not going to lie to your face; yes, I was in love with another woman. I believed I was in love with another woman.”

Our heroine is not getting along with Heather (she never did) still Jamie wanted to make the right decision - you can really feel how she is fighting with her own heart bc she wants to make every single person in her life happy. She is a sweetheart, with a great sense of humor.
I’ll never hurt either of you.

She has had a crush on him forever. That is the only thing that I was missing from their story, I wanted to see who Cohen was in the past before everything happened and why Jamie loved him so fiercely even back then.

I loved Cohen - even though he is broken he is so sincere and open.
You can break my heart just as much as I can break yours.

He just embraced every heartbreak he went through, and we can see that his multiple times shattered heart, and previous experiences formed him to be this amazing guy and wonderful dad.

Please don’t break my son’s heart.

my world revolves around him and his happiness.

This story is sweet and even passionate, with some angsty moments. Heather's villain ex character was a bit over the top for me, but it could not destroy how I felt for these two, and their bond.
“I love that you understand. That you get me.”

Overall I could easily say after a giant reading slump, they really pulled me into their world. I definitely going to read the next one in the series, the whole group is amazing. I loved their friendship and we have a little sexual tension between characters so we will see!
Georgie is Cohen's sister, she is a pretty great character.
Georgia throws Carrie a death glare. “He’s also off-limits. Don’t speak to him and don’t look at him, or I’ll break your fingers.” She gives her a tight smile

“Who’s the lucky woman you’re dressing homeless for?”

Can we agree? :)

So, yeah - I adored them!

“Our situation is what makes us, what brought us together.

3.75 rounded to 4 Stars?

This is my first book by Charity Ferrell. I noticed I have some others of hers marked on my TBR but I haven’t ever read any and after this book I will certainly be reading more.

I’ve read several books with this same trope (mother abandons child & father is a single dad now) but this was really different right at the very beginning.

I really loved Cohen and his great support system of friends and family. I liked the fact that he is a bar owner which seems like an added obstacle in the single dad world.

I really liked how natural and slow the relationship progressed between Jamie and Cohen & Jamie and Noah. It was all very plausible.

My only complaint was that Jamie is a grown woman, who is a DOCTOR for goodness sakes, but her parents bullied her when it came to her sister. Her sister who is a snotty ungrateful immature bitch!!!!! Maybe that is what keeps people invested in the story but I wanted to SLAP that entire family! I wanted to slap Jamie for not standing up to them, I wanted to slap the parents for being so clueless and I wanted to punch Heather in the face. LOL (okay rant over)

I'm a newbie to this author. I saw this book in a Facebook giveaway. The blurb captured my interest. Forbidden romance. Falling for your ex's little sister. Single Dad. I would like to say this book was written for me. I couldn't wait till the giveaways was closed. I bought stirred. Best decision.
The prologue starts with Cohen begging Heather to be with him and their son,Noah...but as we know Heather leaves..Fast forward to 5yrs later, Jamie, our heroine meets them at the hospital where she is working as ER Dr..then the story developes..I fell in love with Jamie, she is sweet and bold..Cohen was also awesome...We get to meet so many nice and lovable secondary characters....wanna read all of their stories.

This book was a definite trip in every sense of the word.
First, it’s a sexy single daddy romance. Cohen is a broody, dedicated family man, his life evolves around his son and his bar.
Second, it’s a forbidden romance as well because the heroine Jamie, is Cohen’s ex girlfriend/baby mamma’s younger sister. She’s a Doctor by day, sassy spitfire by night.
Third, things get complicated when Jamie and Cohen start spending time together and their hatred for one another turns into an all consuming, off the charts attraction which they cannot deny.
Combine these things together and you have yourself one hell of a romance read. Factor in five year old Noah and his determination to make Jamie is new mother and you will just root for them to get their s**t together and make their own sexy happily ever after come true. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. TBR and enjoy.

Last year, I read a book by this author, and even though I didn't hate it, I felt that there were no good reasons to read another book by her. A couple of days ago, that changed... mainly because everything in my kindle seems boring (yes, there are about 300 or 400 ebooks in it) and I just couldn't find anything interesting by looking here in Goodreads. That's why I started Stirred.
I think I have said this before, but I don't really like romances with single parents. Mainly because I can't imagine how difficult it may be to handle dating while parenting (specially if the kids are little), and because I'm 24 years old and can't picture: a) having a baby -at least, not yet- and b) dating someone who has a child.
Stirred starts with Jamie, a young doctor, whose patient happens to be her nephew Noah, the child her sister abandoned. The child's father is Cohen, whose heart was broken by Jamie's sister and therefore hates her whole family. Therefore, this is the first time Jamie sees her nephew.
They start a tentative relationship because of Noah. Jamie wants to be in his life, so Cohen allows her to hang out with him but only with his sister Georgia. After a while, Cohen starts trusting her and they start spending time together.
Noah loves Jamie, even though when he doesn't now who she really is of him. The only problem is the growing attraction between Cohen and Jamie.

I liked the characters and most of the story. The pace was a bit slow, but about 70% things got kind of rushed.

Put together some Angst, a forbidden romance, great side characters and so drama and you have this single dad romance! Charity put together a great romance that will keep you wanting more. This is the first book in the Twisted Fox series and now I can’t wait for future books! Jamie is sweet, caring and has been in love with her sister’s ex for a long time now. Cohen is closed off to his ex’s family, he is a single dad to the most adorable little boy Noah and he’s doing all he can to manage the bar and raise his son. Jamie and Cohen are a great fit, their attraction for each other an undeniable and they make the cutest couple! I love seeing both Jamie and Cohen with Noah, especially Cohen because who doesn’t love a hot single dad romance. This story definitely had it’s drama but it had it sweet and fun moments, especially when it came to the side characters and their parts in the story. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series plays out and I’m already dying for Georgia and Archer’s story!

Too much angst with Jamie and Cohen. I wanted Jamie to fight for what they had but it seemed like she got the easy way out. I have a feeling she would still be sobbing on the couch if her family hadn’t rightened itself on it’s own. Heather was a narcissistic b****. I don’t know how her parents did not see it. Also...who invites someone to live in someone else’s house?🤔🤷🏻‍♀️🤯The only person that was fairly consistent with how they felt and honest about it was Cohen. I actually wish he ended up with someone else. He deserved someone who was willing to stand beside him through the tough times. Instead we get an emotionally conflicted heroine who needs outsiders to tell her what to do.

Based on the blurb of the other books I don’t think I will continue with this series. Too much angst, lies, secrets, bad decisions etc

HEA✅

Sweet romance

Well written sweet romantic story with enough drama to keep you interested and turning the pages. For me, however, it was a little too much focus on other friends/couples that have their own books.

I picked this one up primarily for the cover, but ended up really enjoying this single dad, forbidden romance. I definitely plan to continue in the series!

Cohen was such a protective, nurturing father, always ensuring the top priority was his son. Left with a lot of resentment since being left as a single father five years ago, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Jamie, the sister of his ex-girlfriend, during an ER visit.

With their first interaction fuelled by hatred, promising to never let any connections to his ex back in, I loved the vulnerability from Cohen as he removes blame towards Jamie. As they slowly bond through Jamie visiting his son, the chemistry between them was solid.

The ex-girlfriend was quite a vile person, so while this romance was forbidden, it’s easy to support. And with Cohen owning a local bar, I loved seeing that environment throughout the story, along with hints of future romances through secondary characters.

The conflict resolved a tad too quickly and there’s a moment of recklessness that bothered me (despite the positive outcome), but overall I really enjoyed this!

Book 1 in the new Twisted Fox series and it was such a great start. Single dad with a forbidden romance theme was all I needed to see to know that I wanted to read this story. Jamie and Cohen stole my heart and had me rooting for them the entire time I read their story. They had some much history between them and not all of it was good. When he needed help for his son, Jamie was the one who ended up helping him. They started to slowly navigate around each other and get to know each other again and that was they needed to help get over the past. The chemistry and attraction between them was so intense.

No matter how much chemistry and attraction, will they be able to find the HEA they both need or will there be something or someone standing in the way of happiness? You will have to read to find out. Highly recommend this read and I can’t wait to read more of this series.

I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I love love loved this book! I loved the characters (except Heather the hoe bag), I love the storyline, & I loved the love! I’ve never read any of Charity’s books before but she’s got a new fan for life from me.

First off I love a good single dad romance, their always so fierce & protective & I really really like that. Secondly love the name Cohen & Noah. These two were absolutely adorable together & I sided with Cohen throughout the entire book.

Jamie, sometimes family sucks & you can’t change the family your born into but you can create your own family from friends. Jamie was strong, independent, definite people pleaser & I like that she had a strong job.

These two were perfect together! I guess I should say these three were perfect together 😉 I’m really really looking forward to the rest of the gangs stories because this crew had me laughing & I can already see the pairings coming & I can’t wait!

I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.

~ 4 Twisted Fox Stars ~

Stirred by Charity Ferrell was enjoyable read. I think this series is off to a great start. I look forward to other books in this series.

If you are a fan of the single father romance with a hint of forbidden in it, then this is a book you should read. I really liked this storyline, it was something new that I hadn’t read in awhile. I liked that because of how the Hero and heroine know each other it added a hint of the forbidden romance to it.

As I said, Stirred is the first book in the Twisted Fox series. It is told in Dual POV and is a standalone novel. I thought the flow and pace of the story worked well. The only thing I didn’t really like was the added drama towards the end of the story. I don’t think it needed to be there. I won’t say anymore, I’ll let you decide when you read this book.

In this book we follow Cohen, his 5 year old son and Jamie. Cohen is the co-owner of the Twisted Fox bar and is trying to raise a son on his own. He was betrayed in the worst possible way by his ex. He is still quite bitter about it. So when his son is taken in to the ER, he completely shocked to find his ex’s sister Jamie working there and attending to his son. To say he wasn’t happy is an understatement. Jamie as I said is Cohen’s ex’s sister and an ER doctor. For the past 5 years she has tried everything to get Cohen to let her into her nephews life. So when he ends up in her ER, she sees and opportunity. Can Jamie get Cohen to break down his walls and let her closer to his son. What happens when they cross a line that they can’t come back from?? Can Jamie get Cohen to open his heart again?? Read this book to find out.

I truly liked the other characters we met in this story (except for one) Georgia, Cohen’s title sister was amazing. She was funny and willing to forget the past and get to know Jamie for her not what her sister did. I think she was a great support for both Cohen and Jamie. I look forward to other books with these characters.

If you are a fan of Charity Ferrell’s books, then you don’t want to miss this latest gem of a story. This is a book any single parent romance fans should read. I think you will truly enjoy it!!

Cohen is one hot, single dad.
Heather is the loathsome, heartless ex who left him and their baby.
Jamie is Heather’s sister who enters Cohen & Noah’s lives five years later.

Enter tension and anger and fear, reluctance, giving in, and some unwanted, forbidden, yet undeniable attraction.

I knew after reading the blurb, this was going to be an angsty read. I expected it. I wanted it. I got it.

When Jamie treats Noah at the hospital, things get awkward pretty quickly. Since this is the first time she’s ever seen her 5-year old nephew, it’s understandable when tempers flare.

I adored Noah, he stole a piece of my heart. Watching Jamie getting to know him and seeing their relationship grow was heartwarming.

I did really enjoyed many things about this story. The writing, the idea of the story, and most of the characters (but not Heather, LOL.)

I despised Heather. She was a dreadful human being. She wasn’t likable at all, which is probably the author’s goal. And I wasn’t too fond of her parents either. Their expectations of Jamie were unfair and made me wish Jamie would’ve stood up for herself a bit more. She is a grown woman, with a successful career as a doctor. I did not enjoy, nor agree with the way she handled some things. To me, it took away some of her credibility. But thank goodness she came to her senses toward the end.

All in all though, I’m glad I read this.
It was my first read from Ms. Ferrell.
Did I love it? Not as much as I wanted to.
Will I read more from this author?
Yes, definitely!

I was intrigued by Georgia and Asher’s relationship and look forward to find out their story.

There is just something about a wounded single dad that pulls me right into a story. Cohen is all broody with a wall up that no one is supposed to break through, but with good reason. His son Noah is the freakin' cutest and I love how he adds to the story along the way. And of course Noah totally falls for Jamie, because who wouldn't. Jamie is a doctor that's sweet and just wants to be apart of her nephew's life. The journey these three go on definitely has its ups and downs, but I really enjoyed it. I know the whole sister's ex might not be the most enticing to some readers, but when the sister abandoned her man and her child, and isn't the nicest person, I think we can all look past it for love! I think that "forbidden" factor adds a level to the story that makes it more intense and definitely had me rooting for love to conquer all!

Another thing about this book is that the side characters are awesome! I was totally invested in the whole group, and Charity Farrell set us up with some expectations for more HEAs. And I am dying for the next book Shaken so we find out all the details about Georgia and Archer's love/hate relationship!!!

Stirred By Charity Ferrell

4.5 Stirred Stars ⭐️

I went into this book in blind just knowing the single dad and the forbbiden tropes were in it , and what a good surprised this book Was , I didn’t expect to like it that much , since the begging I was completely lost in the story.

Is the first book i read by this author and i am for sure looking forward to read more of her. The storyline was delicious I enjoyed every conversation between Cohen and Jamie this two were just perfect for each other.

UFFF this book was a roller coaster that I wanted to get off of multiple times. I really enjoyed the beginning of the book but then Jaime decided to be the WORST. I was on board for this union until these 30 somethings decided to be immature assholes. And the last few chapters of this book are actually laughable, the resolution is soooo dumb. Me and Charity Ferrell really have a love hate relationship, but mostly a hate relationship at this point....

5/10 not likely to recommend

I read this book for the #romanceathon it covers the “fave romance trope (My fave trope is: single parent romance)” requirement

If you haven’t heard of Charity Ferrell or haven’t read any of her books, than WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Charity Ferrell was such a surprise author for me. I randomly found one of her books and then I just couldn't stop reading and reading. Finally I had read them all and now I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Stirred (Book #1) in the Twisted Fox Series. Which by the way made my day❤️ I remember reading Just Roommates and being introduced to Jamie & Cohen. From that moment on I was hoping that they would get their own book. I was so hooked on these two from that moment, that I wrote to her and asked her if these crazy love birds would get their own story. I was beyond happy when she said YES😍
Getting an ARC for me means the world. Because I love helping spread the #BOOKLOVE and especially when it’s an author I’ve enjoyed reading and following, for what feels like forever. So thank you Charity so much for this opportunity. Now back to this AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL book. Stirred was definitely a fitting name for this story. Because it stirred up so many emotions in me. I was hooked from the very first page and the story had me on the edge of my seat at all times. I found Jamie & Cohen’s story so heartfelt yet so heartbreaking at times. I just wanted to shake them both. And I really wanted to punch Heather in the face (sorry, not sorry).
What I just loved about this story was the family aspect. The fact that no matter what, these characters had each others back. The way Cohen fought for Jamie and opened his heart even after everything he went through. Woooow. It was so beautifully written.
And than we have Jamie. She always tried to do the right thing and always did what was best for everyone else. I felt so sorry for her. It was so sad to me that someone so strong got treated so badly by her own sister. But when she FINALLY stood up for herself, to her family and actually said how much she loved Cohen & Noah, that was so heartbreakingly sweet. I most definitely laughed, cried and enjoyed this story. This book really shows that nothing is STRONGER than LOVE.
Stirred is most definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star read.
PS. I’m dying to read Archer & Georgia’s story. They already give me so many feels. I can’t wait to see how it all unravels.

I'm a sucker for a sexy, single dad and Cohen Fox was the epitome of these characteristics! He'd been wronged in the worst possible way, was raising his 5 year old son alone and trying to run a successful business. Love wasn't even on his radar when a chance encounter in the local ER with his baby mama's little sister happened. But seeing Jamie brought back a ton of emotions for Cohen, and not all of them were good.

The history between Cohen and Jamie was complicated but with the past behind them, they had every reason to see where the sparks and connection could take them. The characters went back and forth so many times, I started to get dizzy. I understood WHY they fought their feelings but most of their reasoning was completely baseless and absurd. Do what makes you happy! I'm so glad they finally figured it out in the end, but not without a giant push.

It'd rare that I find a read where I adore BOTH the hero and heroine equally, but I found that in Stirred. Cohen was a genuinely good person and incredible father. Jamie was driven, smart and had a heart of gold. They were just two wonderful people who deserved all the happiness they'd denied themselves. The slow burn of this romance read was worth the wait!

Womp womp, the only negative thoughts I have on the book... I didn't really care for the big twist at the end, but that's just me. I thought the characters had a great thing going and didn't need added complications or drama. But the author made it work and I was super happy with the conclusion of Cohen and Jamie's story!

The supporting characters in this story were everything! Georgia, Cohen's little sister was incredible! I really loved seeing the relationship Cohen had with his friends and their significant others. Jamie's support system was complicated but present. Her relationship with her family was complex but she had a few friends in her corner who kept her afloat.

3.5 stars!

Stirred is the first book in Charity Ferrell’s Twisted Fox Series. This story was addicting and hard to put down once I started. It is filled with angst and emotion. Cohen is a single dad, to Noah. He owns and runs a local bar, called the Twisted Fox. He is focused on giving Noah the best life possible even though his mother walked out of his life from the time he was born without a second glance.
Jamie is an ER doctor, and also Noah’s aunt. Her sister, Heather is Noah’s mother but abandoned him from birth. This makes a relationship between them forbidden but attraction is evident and the more time Cohen allows Jamie to spend with Noah the harder time he has resisting her. There were some character traits that I struggled with but overall, I really liked this and cannot wait for more in this series to come, especially Archer and Georgia’s story.

Single dad romance at its finest!

(Spoiler-free Review)
I was so definitely pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed and loved reading this book. Not that I went in expecting to hate it, but I like ended up really loving it!

Basically, years after being abandoned with his son by his ex (& son’s mum), Cohen runs into her younger sister, Jamie, who used to crush on him. Chaos ensures as there is bad blood between him and her entire family. Of course, it all ends in romance! 🥰❤️

I really loved it! It was angsty in the right places, funny, sweet, and def provided all the feels. I also loved the new friendship and relationship that Jamie formed with her nephew.

Also enjoyed the banter between the supporting characters & cannot wait to read their books. I will def be carrying on with this series.

I loved loved loved this book! Stirred is a spin-off off Charity’s Blue Beech Series where we had briefly met Cohan and Jamie. I love this little world that Ms. Ferrell has created with her characters. All of their lives tie together in someway and I love that.

These two characters were so prefect for each other and as to work through some very big issues. Noah, Cohan’s little boy was my favorite character in this story. He was so adorable and fun, very much like how a young child is in real life I loved that. His character helped make this book feel real.

I will say that while reading the book there where times I felt as if I had read it before. I feel like it may have been similar to some other book/books I’ve read. But that certainly didn’t turn me away from finishing the book. I really loved it. 5 stars! I can’t wait to read the next one.

I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I am so glad I decided to try work my way through my TBR because I have been reading some awesome books the last few days. And honestly stirred has been on my TBR for so long and I have no idea why it's taken me so long to get here. But I'm on a single parent binge and this one was a great addition.

Jamie and Cohen had a very complicated history, and I really enjoyed the way they handled it. Each of them had a different reason for their reluctance in forming a relationship. Yet both of them acted in a mature way and communicated well which made them really easy to like.

There was a lot of chemistry between Cohen and Jamie. But they never lost sight of Noah being the main priority which just made their relationship more relatable. The way everything played out was great and I really liked the secondary characters. And with the whole series being on KU I can't wait to read more of them.

Oh my gosh you guys! This book was magic! It was pure break my heart, melt my heart, put my heart back together again gold! Jamie and Cohen’s story is gut wrenching at first , but then it gives way to this phenomenally beautiful journey of love, and healing at the same time. Cohen and Jamie’s story is anything but a traditional boy meets girl romance.

From the outside looking in these are two people who are so wrong for each other for many reasons, but from the moment the ran back into each other after five years of not seeing each other every thing about them was inevitable. They simply completed each other, even when they didn’t realize it. They unknowingly made this perfect little family with Noah. There were hold ups though, for both of them. For Cohen the ultimate betrayal and hurt prevent him from seeing the potential of what’s right in front of him. But for Jamie if she gave in to what’s always been there it could cost her every one she cares about.

I don’t want to give any spoilers about this book y’all. It was a really different twist on a forbidden love story.
This single parent romance was full of heart and soul. Charity Farrell packed it full of characters we couldn’t help but to fall instantly in love with and I’m begging for all of their stories. This story brought me to tears so many times. I laughed with these characters and I cried for them. I fanned myself off from the overwhelming heat and sexiness the radiated. 🔥I wanted to jump through the kindle and throttle some of them quite a few times. But mostly I rooted and rooted for them.
I wanted for Cohen and Jamie to be able to fight all the odds stacked against them and be able to make a family with Noah. Will they be able to kick aside all the Heather’s and the “Sprinkle Heirs” of their world and make a go at it or will the pressure be too much for them to handle.

My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
