Take It All Off

I got my big break in an Italian men’s club.
Honestly… you can’t make these things up.
All I’ve wanted was to travel the world and have enough money to do it.
Simple, right? Wrong.
Florence has become a second home to me. I’m in love with the city and everything it has to offer, but it hasn’t really loved me back.
Making enough money to travel isn’t an issue when you don’t even have enough to make rent.
But then I meet a hot billionaire. Yes, in the club, and he offers me a job.
And get this… I can keep my clothes on in this one. What?!
I’d be crazy to refuse him. Even if being attracted to one’s boss can never be a good idea.
We work and play well together, but forever isn’t in the cards.
He’s from Florence and I’m an American. Neither of us are willing to give up our homes.
On top of it all, Italian mothers aren’t like American mommas, and this situation we’ve created isn’t going to be as easy to clear up.
Neither is me having to explain not one, but two little heartbeats that just popped up on the doctor’s monitor.

Hey there. I'm Weston.

Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.

I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.

Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.

You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.

Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.

Well I jumped into this with no clue on how this story would unfold.

The main reason I was excited to read this is because it's written by a man. In all the books I've read I don't think I've ever read one written by a man and colour me intrigued. I definitely wasn't disappointed and noted some quirky differences I liked. I'm a KA Stan right but it was refreshing to not have to read in detail about the floral pattern on the textured wallpaper, or the exact shade, length and width of the drapes in the living room. There definitely isn't as much fluff or over descriptive scenes. Also!! the lack of drama or the fact it isn't drawn out so long you forget why there's drama in the first place. I liked that a lot, probably because I'm a angst hater. And finally, great use of sexual terminology. Jesus take the wheel because if I read anything else with the words 'love tunnel' 'petals' 'manmeat' or fucking pork sword I think I'll choke on my own spit. And yes I'm aware that not everyone writes like that. The sex scene are fan fucking tastic here without being over the top, unrealistic, grossly worded and cringe worthy. Normally I wouldn't go into detail about writting style but like I said I was intrigued.

Marco is a multibillionaire businessman and a whole delicious slice of Italian cake.
Addy is a broke American trying to live her dreams out in Italy.

I loved the dynamics of their relationship. What some would say is pure luck, others would call fate. A chance meeting in a strip club quite literally changed their lives.

She's smart, witty, resilient and beautiful.

He's cutthroat, strong, hardworking and gorgeous.

Their story is sweet and all kinds of sexy. I love that from the beginning they just clicked. It was easy to feel that connection between them because they fit together so perfectly. Oh and the chemistry is fire. Now that's not to say their story is all sunshine because it's not. They have a few obstacles to overcome through their journey to HEA but I have to say I enjoyed the hell out of their ride. As characters they are both very likeable and easy to relate to but also, they have a lot of growth through the book. The side characters sure did add a good chunk of character to the story as well giving me as a reader all kinds of feels.

It's fast paced but it doesn't rush through their story either. It's sweet and funny and all kinds of sensual. I laughed, loved and swooned at the cute. I had a moment of anger at certain individuals but that was quickly rectified and all was well again. In all I just really enjoyed the story and will definitely be looking into what else he has wrote.

Take it ALL Off is a stand-alone novel by Weston Parker. One thing I would like to address is that the pregnancy doesn't happen until almost the end of the book. It kinda spoils the whole thing. I gotta say that what happens after the reveal was just ridiculous and it ruined my reading.

The book started of as most romance novels do and I mean that in a good way. I was liking what I was reading and the kind of relationship Addy and Marco had was working for me. I was liking the book more than I expected and that means a lot, considering that I do not like most of the books I read these days.

Buuut then, Marco's mom came into the picture, and honestly I haven't seen such a bad character in a while. Italian moms might be over the top, but there is no way that her behavior would be so easily accepted by the others. I don't know how Addy was able to see her for a second time after the stunt she pulled. And you would think that was the worse thing in the book, but nope that came when Addy found that she was pregnant.

I really get some of her feelings because Marco didn't have the best reaction in the world, but the rest of it were simply soap opera worthy to a cringe level. Αddy (and the book) lost me as a supporter there. More than a week later and that scene in the hospital is still carved in my mind.

Overall though, I have to say that I enjoyed the book. The actual rating is 3.5 stars, but I am rounding up to 4 on Amazon and GR because I feel like this novel deserves a chance. On a final note, I have to say that I want Addy's brother to get a book.

Loved this story so much. Addy and Marco were so good together. The connection that they had was strong from the very beginning. Loved watching their relationship unfold into something so wonderful. Their story will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride and I loved every second of it. All I can say is be prepared for the ride of your life. I was sucked in from page 1 and I didn’t it want it to end. Highly recommend this read. You won’t be disappointed.

I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Unfortunately, I do not read many male authors'; I need to make it a habit to read more because I enjoyed this book. Take it all off has been sitting in my kindle for some time—no clue why I didn't read this book sooner.

Addy and Marco meet the most unique way. Marco, from the start, is Intrigued with Addy. She is beautiful, smart, independent. Marco, Alpha, handsome businessman. Take it all off is set in Florence, Italy. Marco was born and raised there, and Addy is an American. Addy visited Florence five years earlier, fell in love, and stayed.

Marco, Who I couldn’t help but adore him. He comes from your typical old school Italian family. His mother wants him to meet a nice Italian girl with family values and goes to church. This right here was my childhood. I couldn’t help but laugh and brought back so many memories. His father taught him from a young age about business. Marco has a twin brother, And I love there banter between the two. Addy, the Only family, is her brother Kyle who is still in the states.

I love how Marco and Addy how they got to know each other, The sexual tension and banter between the two is awesome, I didn't want the story to end. Marco's mother was everything I expected to be honest. Brutal, loving, care about her family first, and foremost. I just love this book.

Take it All off is the story of Marco and Addy.
Let's begin with our smart, independent and sassy leading lady. She has lived her life with no family support except for a brother. She moved to Florence years ago and has been living pay check to pay check as a waitress. When she finds herself desperate to pay the bills she lands in a gentleman's club as a server.
Marco is a very successful self made business man that is very devoted to his family and his work. Entertaining business associates he finds himself at the club sitting at the bar. This is where he runs into the most interesting and ambitious woman he has met in a while. She has fire and drive. He can't believe he is about to offer a job.
Their work relationship is off and running and each day Addy surprises him with her ability, people skills and the way she quickly absorbs and processes information. They have under lying sizzle and attraction that soon takes us from the boardroom to the bedroom. Marco's mom is quite old school and judgmental and his relationship with an American may cause a riff in the family.
When an emergency at home leads to the two of them leaving the country the family devotion for both of them may be the end of their future . This couple has sizzle, chemistry and romance !!!

The idea of the story was good; the characters were well written; the characters had great personalities: humor, seriousness, tenderness, etc.

With that, also came the unfolding of all these traits. The story started off nice but once the heroine met the hero, it seemed all to rushed? Sometimes the story got lost in all the sex. To much sex = skimming.
Not much angst. The little temper flair ups between characters was resolved way to quickly. The whole story talks about Italian Mom not liking American girl. But really there was only one scene that actually showed the dislike; otherwise it was just talk about here and there. Hospital scenes were just too quickly resolved. 🙄 again not much angst or conflict.

Overall, not much depth. But not a bad quick read.

I really enjoyed this story featuring Addy and Marco. From their unconventional meeting the connection was easy to see. They had a spark that drew them to each other and I loved them together. I enjoyed the friendship they formed just as much as the romance. The story takes you on a journey as they slowly learn about each other. It definately takes you on rollercoaster ride. I liked the pace of the story it felt natural and flowed easily.

An emotional billionaire bad boy romance read

Addy, an American making a living in Italy, runs into Marco, CEO of an international logistics company, when she tries her hand at waitressing in an adult dance club after losing her waitressing job at a restaurant. As the story progresses a job is offered, a different opportunity arises, and a surprise may wreck al that they have worked for. Weston Parker’s Take It All Off is an emotional billionaire bad boy romance read that is sure to send the reader on a rant or two at certain points. I hope he has something planned (pretty please) for Elena, Aldo, and Kyle each in future books.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Fun!

Great writer. Fun story with good a pace. The characters are enjoyable and have depth. Just enough details to make the story click. This was the first romance novel I've read, and I'm 49! It was really fun. I think I'll have another.

Marco And Addy’s Story Is About Family And Following Your Dreams, And The Culture And Beauty Of Florence Enrich Their Story.

Marco Ricci, thirty-four, always knew he wanted to go into business. His father gave him valuable advice at an early age by explaining the importance of learning English if business were to be his chosen path. Marco grew up and went on to build Ricci Logistics, and today he is a billionaire. Despite his huge international success, Marco has maintained his corporate offices in his hometown of Florence, Italy, and has become something of a local legend. Raised to be a good Italian son, he maintains a close relationship with his widowed mother. Her drama keeps life interesting, but he can’t imagine life without her. Although she is fiercely independent, he and his brother are constantly in contact with her and looking out for her needs.

Aldo, his identical twin, takes after their mother in the drama department. Although the brothers may look alike, their personalities differ. While Aldo is always looking for the next date or the next adrenaline rush, Marco can’t seem to pry himself away from his work. Regardless of their differences, the brothers remain very tight. They spend all their free time together. Both are adamant that they will not be marrying and having babies anytime soon, if at all, much to their mother’s chagrin.

Adaline Tidwell fell in love with the city of Florence when she arrived nearly five years ago, and despite her dream of travelling the world, Florence felt like home – and it remains her home for now. She loves the countryside, the architecture, and the passion of the locals. Although she misses her beloved brother Kyle back in Portland, Oregon, she is following her heart. Since her arrival, though, she has always lived paycheck to paycheck, and as such has always been at risk of running out of money and having to give up her dream and return home. Though Kyle would do anything to support her dream, she is too independent to become a burden to him. So when Addy loses her job suddenly, she finds herself in a bind. With rent due and no time for job hunting, she has three choices: ask Kyle for a loan, return home and give up her dream, or take the job her roommate offers her. Her roommate Elena dances at an exclusive strip club. Addy refuses to strip, but finally concedes and agrees to wait tables at the club to score quick cash. She has difficulty getting through her first shift, though, when she discovers just how handsy the customers are.

When Marco scores a big deal, he offers his to celebrate by showing his new partners a good time in Florence. Although not his cup of tea, he agrees to take the group of Chinese businessmen to a strip club at the end of an evening of wining and dining, taking a seat himself in a quiet corner away from the activity. He is startled by an angry waitress that appears next to him at the bar, but is struck first by her beauty, and then by her intelligence, when they engage in a brief conversation. Going on gut instinct, he offers her a job once her learns of her predicament.

Neither Marco nor Addy is looking for anything serious when they give into their attraction. Neither wants marriage and children. But as they continue to enjoy one another, it doesn’t matter how they define what they mean to one another. It becomes a relationship of sorts. But Marco knows that whatever he and Addy have won’t pass his mother’s scrutiny for one very simple reason: Addy isn’t Italian. And that knowledge means that the relationship will never result in marriage. Yet love finds him and Addy even though they aren’t ready for it and have a hard time recognizing it. The couple eventually earns a beautiful HEA.

Marco and Addy’s story is about family and following your dreams, and the culture and beauty of Florence enrich their story. It is nicely written. The plot is somewhat complex. The characters are nicely developed. It is written in first person. The POV alternates between Marco and Addy. I rate this book four stars.

I’ve said it before about other books he has written, but here I am saying it again … this book is one of Weston Parker’s best. I never want to really detail the storyline in a review; you can get that from the book blurb. I will tell you Adeline is a smart and strong heroine who goes after what she wants in life, having grown up with no support system aside from her brother, she depends only on herself. Marco is a brilliant and successful businessman who is also a mama’s boy, but not at all in a bad way. He has a twin brother who is also a good guy, and who encourages Marco to embrace life outside of just business.

Addy and Marco meet in a unique way and their relationship is a pleasure to learn about. These two have sizzling hot chemistry, smart banter, and a sense of humor like every good relationship needs. There are a couple of big obstacles that must be dealt with on the way to the well-earned HEA. This book has some wonderful secondary characters. (I’m wondering what Aldo and Elena would be like together!) The author’s style is so easy to read, it’s like enjoying hazelnut Gelato on a warm summer day … Delicious, decadent, and just so good you can’t resist.

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Take it All Off by Weston Parker is the first book I've read by this author. I was a little leery to read a romance written by a man but I was not disappointed. At first I was going to say that I didn't understand how the title correlates with content, but once I re-read the book description it made sense.

Addy and Marco have chemistry from the minute they meet. Addy has fallen in love with Italy and falls in love in Italy. Marco is the alpha male who tries to resist her. I really liked that the author didn't make Addy's past the focus. She was really trying to move herself forward. As much as I wanted to hate Grace, she was someone that I could identify with.

This book was so good that I stayed up late to finish it. I don't have very many negative thoughts regarding this book. Everything that would have been negative as I was reading worked itself out in a satisfactory manner. I can't wait to read more from Weston Parker.

Five years ago, Addy set off on an adventure to see the world and has found a new home in Italy. Desperate times call for desperate measures so when Addy finds herself with bills to pay and no job, she accepts the help of her friend and is now working at a gentleman’s club. When she strikes up a conversation with one of the patrons, she didn’t expect to receive a job offer that appeared to good to turn down.

Marco is a successful businessman who is entertaining some associates at the club even though it would not be his first choice. When he meets Addy, he is drawn to her beauty and her brains so he offers her a job never really believing that she would accept it.

As they start working together their relationship becomes personal as well as professional but between their families and the surprise that Addy carries, they will have to decide what they are willing to give up to be together.

The author is new to me and I honestly don’t know why I haven’t read him before!
Take it All Off had my attention from the beginning to the end!
Marco intrigued me from the very start and the fact the story is set in Italy, is an added bonus due to my love of travel and desire to go there!! Enter Addy, what a wonderful character she is! She is sassy, tells it like it is and doesn’t shy away from hard work! She is trying to live her best life in a beautiful country! What I really loved about this book was the way Marco and Addy got to know each other! The sizzling tension between them could be felt and the banter was fantastic! I really didn’t want the story to end!! This was a wonderful love story where the Billionaire meets his match! How will he overcome certain family members or are they destined to failure!
A truly amazing read!

I loved Addy and Marco and when she meets Marco at her place of business she’s not exactly fully clothed, that’s right, she’s a stripper and not making enough money to do much in Italy. When Marco offers her a job it’s an offer she can’t refuse although she’s attracted to him she knows that nothing could come of it. Marco is sexy, steamy and is completely attracted to Addy, but he has a little misconception regarding her status and when he’s proven wrong, watch out. Marco is a good italian mama’s boy along with his twin brother, but when the feelings start to grow, he’s not sure what his mother will think about the American that he’s falling for. Their story is sweet, fun, loving and just and all around great read. I received a copy of this book.

What can I say about the title - It certainly doesn't give away the storyline, that's for sure. It won't take you long to engross yourself into the love story of Adaline and Marco. Fate brought them together in a strip club and their lives were forever changed. Adaline wasn't a stripper and it was her first night as a bar waitress when she met Marco and he offered her a job. Some people are just meant to be together and the universe has a way of connecting them. Their chemistry is explosive as is their relationship at times. No shortage of drama, family dynamics or turmoil. But in the end an HEA that will warm your heart. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review. The book is well written, has a good flow and the characters are amazing.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved Addy’s independence and her fierce drive to succeed. I was also very impressed with how well she kept her cool under pressure. Marco has a heart of gold-plated marshmallow. As much as they drive him crazy, he would do anything for his family. There was one scene that made me question my love for Addy and almost had me throwing my reader out the window, but thankfully we come back from there stronger and even more committed their happy ever after. As with every other Parker title I’ve read from either of the siblings, the ending was almost too cute for words. Now, will we get Aldo’s story in a future book? I can hope.

This is another wonderful story from Weston Parker. Addy has picked up and moved to Florence, Italy. She has absolutely fallen in love with people and city. She struggles to get by and when she loses her job, she takes a job waiting tables in club. She meets Marco who offers her a job. She is hesitant at first but takes the job. They are drawn to each other from the start. There are a lot of changes that come along to cause trouble but they work it out together. I love the book.

Addy and Marco were great together! They were both well developed characters and I especially loved Addy and how strong and independent she was. Their chemistry was definitely off the charts!
I also enjoyed family drama mixed in. It was well balanced and just right amount to spice things up. The ending was perfect for Addy and Marco and super sweet!

This book was a wonderful surprise. I’ve never read anything by Weston Parker before & very few romance novels written by men. This book was so well written & such an enjoyable read.

All the characters were so lovable except for Mama but she did grow on you throughout the book. I loved the surprise at the end too! I hope Aldo gets a book because I’d love to read his story. Marco & Addy were perfect together. I love that Marco truly believed in Addy & what she was capable of.

Love and romance in Florence! Ahhh!

Adeline Tidwell moved to Florence because she wanted to travel the world. She started out in Rome, but when she arrived in Florence, Addy knew this was where she wanted to live for a while. However, she didn’t expect to be working at a crappy Italian restaurant where the food was questionable. When she was fired from that job, Addy had to find a job quickly to meet the rent. Her roommate, Elena, a stripper, got her a job serving drinks at the club she worked at. Working her first night there was pure torture for Addy, as customers tried constantly to grab her ass. When she met this handsome man hanging out at the bar, they struck a conversation. Addy telling him this was her first day on the job, and probably her last. Marco Ricci offered her his card, telling her to come see him for a job when she got tired of being a waitress.

If it hadn’t been for the business associates that wanted to go to a strip club, he would have never met the beautiful Addy. To his surprise, she was waiting for him early the next morning for an interview. Marco had no idea what possessed him to offer her a job. He had to figure out something. As it turns out, Addy became his liaison with his business customers, and they loved her. Now, if he could stop lusting after her, everything would be perfect. That is until the night he invited her for drinks, to celebrate her first week on the job. Walking her home, he went upstairs to her apartment and had the best sex in his life.

Working closely together and sharing a bed at night, what more could you ask for! He has found someone that shares his same views on marriage, or should I say, not getting married. As their personal lives get closer, Marco knows that he can’t go further with Addy since his old fashioned mother would never approve of any woman that is not Italian. This becomes evident when he takes Addy to meet his Mom. It was the biggest disaster in his life. How can Marco move forward when his mother is all he has.

Things get a bit dicey when Addy has an emergency and needs to return to Portland. Addy knows she has strong feelings for Marco, but also knows she will never get the approval of his mother.

This was such a wonderful HOT and romantic book!

Oh boy, start to finish this book was the bomb Diggity. I've never read anything by Weston Parker before but I am definitely going to be changing that after reading Take it All Off.

Our female MC, Addy, moved to Italy five years ago and never looked back. While she misses her brother she loves everything about her new life, except for her current job. When her jerk boss lets her go and leaves her in a bind, she joins her friend at a strip club where she serves drinks for a night and runs into Marco.

Oh boy did I love this story. Marco and Addy were great together. I enjoyed reading about how they grew as characters together and about their struggles. Both Marco and Addy were just so cute. Addy was always taking Marco by surprise and keeping him on his toes. Addy was finally able to blossom after working in a stifling job for years.

I loved the hints of Italian culture. The writing really made me feel like I was there with the characters seeing it all. The family drama felt so real and interesting and I loved watching it all play out.

Take it All Off is an absolute must-read. Great characters, dual POV's, great pacing, and flawless writing. The characters actually took time to get to know each other and it felt like a real relationship and not just about the very sexy times they were having together.

You are going to like this book because of the foreign flavor of Italy and the way Addy picks herself up from a difficult situation to set forth on a unique path that makes the most of her personality and intelligence.

You are going to love this book as the tough negotiator/billionaire businessman has his soft heart revealed as he finds he cannot resist what he feels for Addy even if he thinks it won’t work out. You will love what family means to Marco, and what that means for Addy and his mother and how much grace Addy shows under pressure.

One of the really fun characters I hope we get to learn more about some day is Marco’s twin brother, Aldo. (His name kept reminding me of another famous set of Italian twins, Mario and Aldo Andretti.) But for the time being, read this book.

Weston Parker has written another gem
This is the story of Addie and Marco, family , Italy and culture. It is a standalone HEA.
Marco is a self made multibillionaire, his life is his company and his family. Addie is an Amerivan who has been living in Italy for a number of years but living from paycheck to paycheck. They accidentally meet and Marco gives his business card to Addie and says to call him for a job.
The story takes off from there... of course life is a roller coaster as everyone's is and there are complications in store..
I really really enjoyed reading this book. You wont regret picking it up.

I LOVED This Story

While there was no over-the-top plot to the story, the writing was fantastic. The personality of each character was written with such detail to description and character "speech". Lots of descriptive humor during details of the characters lives and sense of humor within the characters. I loved Marco and Aldo - twin brothers who live each other - and the relationship between Marco & Addy was great. Just a really good story and I read completely through, word by word. A lot of the time with romance novels, there is always a part of two that you want to rush through or skip completely....not in this one. Which great writing, Weston!

Meh

Typical romance novel. Billionaire meets poor girl in Florence. This time he’s Italian and she’s plain old American white girl. And for no reason, other than her being American, mother doesn’t approve. Eye roll. She ends up preggo has some melodramatic meltdown over nothing, for tension and drama, he says I love you, mother all of a sudden loves American white girl. HEA. I think I need to read about fantastical black love. At least I’d see myself in some of these far fetched romance stories.
