From CTech, news of yet another, quite special Israeli startup:
On paper, it sounds like just another startup. A young company developing advanced technology, being managed with great secrecy. In fact, Tomer is a company owned by the government of Israel that is meant to act as a center of national expertise in the field of rocket propulsion….
Tomer employs 540 people, many of them engineers in the fields of physics and chemistry. The company manufactures the long-range Arrow missile, Elbit’s artillery and aerial rockets, and the first and second stage engines of Shavit, Israel’s satellite launcher that places the IDF’s spy satellites in space. According to foreign sources, the Shavit launcher is based on the Jericho ballistic missiles that can reportedly carry nuclear warheads….
Tomer is currently in talks with several companies in Japan and the US, negotiating the direct sale of its rocket engines for foreign projects. The entry into the Japanese market is the result of a memorandum of understanding signed last year between the defense ministries of Israel and Japan which opened the usually closed Japanese market to Israeli companies.
In the meantime, Tomer is working to improve the veteran Shavit satellite launcher that would allow it to carry heavier loads into space. The Shavit rocket is currently known to carry the Ofek satellites, that weigh around 350 kilograms. The ability to send heavier objects into space would allow the construction and launching of improved satellites containing cameras with higher resolution and a better quality radar.
The company is also considering entering the field of hypersonic speeds, developing a propulsion system that can operate both in and out of the atmosphere and sustain speeds that greatly exceed the speed of sound — Mach 5 and above. Modern defense systems currently struggle to contend with the threat of hypersonic missiles. Russia has already unveiled such a system and the US is believed to be working on one….
In late April, the Iranians launched a cyberattack on Israel’s water supply, attempting to raise the level of chlorine to render it undrinkable. The attack was foiled within a matter of a few minutes. No damage was done.
On May 9, Israel retaliated against Iran with its own far more effective cyberwarfare, bringing the bustling Shahid Rajaee port terminal at Bandar Abbas – where 60% of Iran’s seagoing traffic is handled — to an abrupt halt. The computers that regulate the flow of vessels, trucks, and goods all crashed at once, thereby creating massive backups on waterways and roads leading to the facility. There were traffic jams leading to the port that were miles long. Even several days later, ships were still waiting to offload their cargoes. There were knock-on effects farther inland too, with transportation networks described as being in “total disarray.” If Israel could do that much damage, in what was clearly meant just to let the Iranians experience a small example of what the Jewish state’s cyberwarriors were capable of, Tehran must surely be rethinking the wisdom of messing with Jerusalem again.
And now we learn about another Israeli start-up. The company is called Tomer. It is working on improved spy satellites (cameras with higher resolution, better quality radar), heavier rocket loads, hypersonic speeds, and more that you might guess at by reading between the lines. What’s not to like?
Note to the Supreme Leader, lent by Hollywood for just the right occasion: “Be afraid. Be very afraid.”
Walter Sieruk says
There aren’t some things wrong with that “mullah regime” of Iran because the word “some” would put a limit on the number of things that are wrong with that brutal, cruel and oppressive “mullah tyranny” of Iran.
Back on the date of 4/22/19 the US Secretary of State ,Michael Pompeo spoke of that brutal and oppressive tyranny which oppresses the people of Iran and said “We will not appease their oppressors as that last administration did .” Pompeo then stated “We will support the Iranian people.”
As far back as on Tuesday, 2/5/ 19 in his second State on the Union a speech President Trump spoke of that Islamic tyranny of Iran as well as those in total power and complete of that tyrannical rogue state. For the President declared “It is a radical regime, they do bad, bad things.”
Moreover, an author of an article on a Freedom Site, Dariush Afshar, had explained the reality of the situation well when he wrote that the “People of Iran who fight for freedom in Iran and abroad put a huge gap and draw a prominent line between Iran and the Islamic regime in Tehran.”
This is sadly and tragically the terrible reality of this Islamic tyrannical regime of Iran. This Islamic tyranny has been well nicknamed “the mullahs regime” in which them mullahs and ayatollahs as well as other fiendish and fanatical Muslims in power have a strong and awful control of the Islamic regime of Iran and through their band of Islamic state “police” , who are called the “Revolutionary Guards “come down hard human rights of the Iranian people .
Therefore, the Iranian people who are trapped and forced to exist in this Islamic tyranny live in terrible fear of the mullahs and others in power in Iran. This is a tragic and sad reminder of the wisdom that was printed in the periodical of Benjamin Franklin which is entitled POOR RICHARDS’ ALMANAC that reads “Those who are feared are also hated.”
It also should be added, to this that the actual word “Republic” has on origin the Latin meaning “Of the people” With the mullahs ayatollahs in so much power and even influencing the parliament of this Islamic regime is tyranny is hardly a real republic .Furthermore the ruthless gang of thugs who are the stooges of those Muslim clerics, called the “Revolutionary Guards,” those Islamic State “police” come down hard on the human rights and freedoms of the Iranian people. Therefore the people do have the right to overthrow a tyranny. This reality had even been expressed and described by men of great intelligence .For example the philosopher .John Locke. This is wisdom that mullahs and other villains in power in that Islamic tyranny don’t want the Iranian people to know about or understand
Walter Sieruk says
A former Muslim revealed an important reality when he wrote “Iran is representative of what Islamic fundamentals desire, an Islamic State, and the consequence of achieving it: State Terror, Instead of utopic, Iran is an Islamic totalitarian nightmare.” He further exposes that “What followed its establishment was the inevitable consequence and inexorable logic of its Islamic premise; state terrorism, a merciless tyranny.” [1]
Furthermore, in the book entitled HOW ISLAM PLANS TO CHANGE THE WORLD, by , the Christian scholar, William Wagner ,on page 208 the reader is informed that “The creation of the Islamic republic in Iran has had the effect that many from that country have become disillusioned with Islam and are looking to leave Iran. ” This is a point worth pondering.

If only Israel could find a way to short-circuit the brains of all the mullahocracy simultaneously! That would give the Iranian opposition the chance it needs to take back their country from those greedy, plundering fanatics!

STUXNET
A word that brings terror to the iranians….
STUXNET was the computer worm that screwed up the iranian centrifuges used in their Nuclear program.
On hearing of the use of STUXNET to sabotage the iranians “peaceful” Nuclear research program, computer nerds and computer security people of my acquaintance were seriously impressed by the sheer ingenuity behind it:getting the centrifuges to tear themselves apart.
Genius.
