"Writing without Bullshit" changed how I write everything.

Bullshit writing is communication that wastes the reader’s time by failing to communicate clearly and accurately.

Treat your readers' time as more valuable than your own.

  • Start boldly with a summary sentence
  • Use fewer words
  • Always edit the first draft
  • Once you figure out what you mean - rewrite
  • Don’t use passive voice
  • Don’t use jargon
  • Get rid of weasel words like most, some, frequently, often

If you use writing in your work, read this book to learn how to make your words count.

Businesses can really benefit from writing in Bukowski's style.

Whether they benefit from writing on Bukowski's subject matter? That's an experiment I would pay attention to.... lol
