I went in to this book not knowing what to expect, because let's face it, you just don't know what to expect when you dive head first into one of TL Smith's books. And it's the way we love it. Her writing is unpredictable and exciting. And I love every single tiny second of it. I am addicted. This story trapped me in quick.

Atlas....holy heck that is one fine man. I wouldn't mind me a piece of Atlas. SO dark, so formidable, so sexy! What more could you want? If I was the heroine I would be all over him! But this was true enemies to lovers and the hate between these two sizzled all the more. So hot.
Theadora is a good girl, she isn't at all bad. I love that she is the opposite of our hero. It makes the fight all the more fun! These two are so freaking hot. Burning up my kindle.

The twists and turns took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting what happened at all.. and I was so hooked I didn't even notice it was coming to an end and then BAM... the end, and I could have cried, and screamed!!! I need more so bad. Only a little wait to go but eeep.... I can't wait. I am so excited to see what happens next. I am so ready for more Atlas.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. I was enraptured by this imaginative tale. So totally enamoured by Atlas and blinded by the masculine enigma that was he. He was a mystery that I obsessively tried to solve. What made him tick? Why was he the way he was? What could penetrate that seemingly immovable armour? I don’t know if I worked it out, but boy oh boy, did I have the best time trying. It was an effortless read for me. The only trouble I had was putting it down to deal with the necessities. I completely absorbed every word and it left me utterly breathless. I cannot wait to see what stunning events TL Smith will woo her audience with next. 5 stars.

OMG 😮 well to start with I fell in love with Atlas I think from the start. This book had me hooked from the beginning, T.L Smith has a way with words! Wowza ! This bio is so captivating you don’t want to put it down I only did as I was sick as a dog, still am but had to finish it. Love Thea and Atlas and Tina. The ending WTF?? I need book 2 like now and I can not wait 5 star 🌟 bl@@dy read. Definite must read this book you will enjoy it if u like a bit of darkness!

I'm intrigued and a little frustrated with the cliffhanger.. I need to know what is going to happen with Theadora and Atlas.
It took me a little to get into this but TL has a way of drawing you in with her characters. Atlas is BAAADDD but I cannot wait to see if he will be redeemable... we almost catch a glimpse of the man he could be with Thea before it all gets ripped away. Compulsive read and definitely want to read the next book.
Solid 4.5 star read.

It was a good idea but the love story development was lacking. The intimate moments were average, I've read better on unpublished stories on wattpad if I'm honest. As for the setting, I would never have guessed it was based in Australia if not for the author saying so on Tik Tok.
Overall the idea was great but chracter development was lacking and I felt no realy love connection between the characters.

You hate him but cant help but route for him at the same time. The book is written in both POVs which I love because I want to know what he is thinking too. Bien que je n'attendais pas beaucoup d'un livre de 300 pages à peine, je pensais aux vues des reviews et recomendations que je passerais un bon moment de lecture, malheureusement ce ne fut pas vraiment le cas.

Pour moi, la relation entre les deux protagonistes fut étrange tout du long, et ne faisait pas beaucoup de sens. Alors oui, bien sur, le syndrome de Stockholm est réel, mais là il fut très maladroitement amené et conduit. Je n'ai pas ressenti de véritable connection entre Atlas et Theadora, et le héros ne sait pas ce qu'il veut. On dirait que l'auteur a voulu faire un mix de plusieurs idées recue sur le fameux trope "ennemies to lovers" mais là ca n'avait ni queue ni tête. La violence était ridiculeusement disproportionnée et alors, la scène finale qui amène sur le deuxième livre n'a fait que massacrer le peu d'intérêt que j'aurais eu à continuer cette histoire.

Il y a de biens meilleurs livres basé sur ce genre que Heartbreak me, je passerais donc mon chemin si j'étais vous.

TL Smith has a talent for giving us hot, sexy, broody men which our heads tell us to runaway from FAST but other parts are wanting them.

I started this one evening and couldn't put it down until I had finished and before I knew it, it was the early hours of the morning and my head was spinning! I was left feeling all of a tither, and yes I'm well aware this word is rarely used anymore but it was the only one I could think of that fit.

This is one book you need to experience for yourself without preconceptions.

The chemistry between Thea and Atlas is off the charts hot but as events unfold you will be left on the edge of your seat wanting answers and like me desperately wanting the next part of the Duet!

This was the first book I've read by Smith and it won't be the last if I find her books in the future they happen to be free. I pay for a kindle membership and don't see the point in paying for books on top of that when I can find ones that are free.

Now for the book I loved the characters in it. I loved Atlas he was your typical bad ass, Thea (Theadora which btw I hated that name. It reminds me of a name from the 1800s. Eberytime it came time to reading it it just felt weird haha) she was sweet, loving, caring, wore her heart on her sleeve and put the ones she loved before herself. I loved her character. I also love her best friend Tina. She's awesome!!!!! I wish I had a friendship like that. That's the exact kind of friend I am and always have been and it sucks that I never found a great friend that isn't fake.
