The Rules for a "New America"

The New America

It’s ok to be for Blacks to demand not to be held accountable by the police for their crimes, because if they Police arrest them, the Police might hurt them when they resist being arrested. The fact that most violent crimes are done by Black Men should make no difference to the police, even if it is reality.

It’s ok to be Anti-semitic and ignore the Jewish history of oppression because as a black, I was oppressed. Ignore the fact that the bible which is for all people says, Jews have to be especially sensitive to slavery because we were slaves. As a black who wants to take my right to be free from the bible itself, I want to ignore that fact.

Ignore the fact that the Jewish people were the ones that stood up for Blacks at the risk of their own lives in the 50’s and ’60s and allowed blacks the equality that let them come into their own power.

Make a Jewish person feel intimated because I am Black, that I could attack him with impunity and not have a Policeman stop me.

Destroy the commercial establishments that make life pleasant in America, and let it become a third world hovel.

I demand the right to loot and steal as my basic constitutional right.

It’s Un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.

Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegal Mexicans voting in our elections are good.

Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote.

People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.

Inflammatory rhetoric is outrageous, but harassing conservative people is virtuous.

People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for useless degrees.

Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you'd better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.

Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate Central-American gang-banger who jumps the southern fence is welcome.

$5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for 'free' health care is not.

If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.

People who say there is no such thing as a gender are demanding a female President.

We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, and it seems like a great plan for us. Everyone who has experienced warns us against the Socialist trap, but we should keep heading toward it, nevertheless.

Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.

Criminals are catch-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.

Defund the Police, so that law-abiding citizens can lose their basic rights to be able to on the streets without fear of crime. This is the basic right of the person, to be able to survive. In the Jungle where there is no police only the strong survive and the weak die. This is one of the basic rules that G-d put into the Noahlite laws that apply to every civilization, because without a court system and the police to enforce it, we have no civilization only a jungle.

Prisoners who have been convicted of a crime serious enough to have been sent to prison should be released into the community to avoid Coronavirus, but citizens who want to go to work or patronize a business in the community should be jailed

And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?!

The Portion of Re'eh

Giving From the Heart

As the Children of Israel prepare to enter the Land of Israel, Moses speaks about the unique ceremony of blessings and curses which will take place on Mt. Gerizim and Mt. Ayval. There is a long list of tasks which await the Children of Israel once they enter the Promised Land. One of those tasks, a very fundamental one at that, is the commandment to open one's pocket and one's heart and to give tzedakah.

Giving to the needy is not only a physical act. It must be accompanied by encouragement and emotional support, for without this support the the act of giving is only partially fulfilled. And as Rabbi Yochanan said: "Greater is the one who whitens his friend's teeth than the one who gives him milk to drink" (Tractate Ketubot 111).

An allusion to this may be found in the verse "but thou shalt surely open thy hand unto him" (Deuteronomy 15;8).

The uniquely curved letters "pay" in the words "patoach tiftach" (you shall surely open) indicate that the Torah is referring to two openings: that of the hand and that of the heart.

Attacks on the Uniqueness of the Holocaust

{Reposted from the BESA website}

The memory of the Holocaust has been under assault for decades from all sides: the extreme right, the extreme left, and parts of the Islamic world. A common tactic is to assert that the Holocaust was not unique, contrary to the Jewish claim.

Looking at the question on a purely empirical basis, the Holocaust was unambiguously a unique event. While some elements are comparable to other genocides, its combined characteristics are not. Several criteria collectively make the Holocaust an unprecedented event: the totality of the targeting (all Jews everywhere), its priority (all branches of the German state were involved in the effort), its industrial character, and its impracticality (instead of exploiting Jews for labor purposes, they were killed.)

Leading Holocaust philosopher Emil L. Fackenheim noted that the Armenian genocide was confined to the Turkish Empire. And even within that empire, not all Armenians there were targeted—for instance, those living in Jerusalem were spared. Geographical confinement also applies to the genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Sudan.

As Fackenheim pointed out, the Nazis, by contrast, set out to exterminate every last Jew on the face of the earth. He said that while the Holocaust does belong to the species “genocide,” the planned and largely executed borderless extermination of the Jews during the Holocaust is without precedent and, thus far at least, without sequel. It is thus entirely appropriate to call it “unique.”

Another Jewish philosopher, David Patterson, extended Fackenheim’s view. Patterson wrote that when comparing the Shoah to other genocides,

I would go even further and insist that the Holocaust is not reducible to a case of genocide, any more than it is reducible to any other historical or political phenomenon, in the strict sense, although it certainly includes those elements. The Nazis set out to annihilate more than a people. …they set out to annihilate a fundamental principle; to obliterate millennia of Jewish teaching and testimony; to destroy the living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; to eradicate a way of understanding God, world, and humanity embodied by the Jews in particular.

In Germany, the debate on the uniqueness of the Holocaust became an adjunct to the recent Achille Mbembe affair. This public intellectual from Cameroon had been invited to give the keynote address at the German Triennale music festival this August. It then became known that he is an anti-Israel inciter and has been involved in antisemitic acts. A public debate followed that continued despite the cancelation of the festival because of the coronavirus pandemic.

One of a variety of claims against Mbembe was that he compared the Holocaust to apartheid, contending that the only difference between them is scale. Alan Posener, an editor of Die Welt, responded that that claim is fundamentally false: “The Holocaust was not a much bigger form of apartheid, and what is more important apartheid was not a smaller version of the Holocaust. It was not a quantitatively different process but one which was qualitatively dissimilar.”

There is an important secondary element to the Mbembe affair relating to the national memory. Unfortunately, the issue of Germany’s national memory was brought to the fore mainly by people who were doing everything they could to whitewash Mbembe’s antisemitism.

The memory of colonialism was the centerpiece of an open letter signed in May by more than 700 African scholars and artists. The letter was addressed to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. It said: “We, African intellectuals, thinkers, authors and artists condemn without reservation the lying antisemitic accusation of extreme right, hostile to foreigners and right-wing conservative groups in Germany against Professor Achille Mbembe.”

The letter’s first paragraph contained two lies. The first was that Mbembe has never made antisemitic statements, an easily disproven claim. The second was that the accusations against Mbembe came from the extreme right. In fact, the exposure of Mbembe’s antisemitism originated mostly in mainstream sources. The letter ended with the brazen demand that the German antisemitism commissioner, Felix Klein, be fired. Klein had told the truth about Mbembe’s antisemitism even before additional facts about his hate-mongering had come to the fore.

A prominent German whitewasher of Mbembe, Professor Aleida Assman, said in an interview in Die Welt: “Critics see in Mbembe a preacher of hate. I see him on the side of empathy.” This is eminently false. While Mbembe promotes “empathy” and “repairing the world,” he makes no secret of despising Israel and extends it no empathy whatsoever.

In a Deutschland Kultur radio interview on the Mbembe case, Assman admitted that she had a hard time understanding Mbembe due to his abstract philosophical tone, which sometimes turns poetic. She added that she is most interested in Mbembe’s reflections on repairing post-colonial relationships. Another scholar who came out in support of Mbembe, philosopher Susan Neiman, whose expertise is on memory culture in a global perspective, said, when asked what her takeaway was from Mbembe’s work, that she didn’t know.

Frankfurt ethnology professor Hans Peter Hahn argued that the two experts’ offhand admission that they “haven’t a clue about Mbembe’s theories” reflects the fact that “German intellectuals allow themselves to speak about and for African authors without having read them.”

Philosopher Ingo Elbe has observed that the battle against Israel is being fought vicariously through attacks on German memory culture and its supposed provincialism. As Elbe expresses it, the post-colonial concept of memory has given rise to the false assertion that the emphasis on the uniqueness of the Holocaust creates an indifference to others’ suffering. He adds that victim rivalry must be combatted, and that the claim that Holocaust remembrance unfairly diminishes other memories downplays Black and Muslim antisemitism. It also overlooks specifically Jewish experiences that are sacrificed to a strategy of anti-racist counter-hegemony.

Another attack on the uniqueness of the Holocaust is taking place in international academia. Leading Israeli genocide scholar Israel W. Charny observes: “In the academic world an alternative has developed to the classic ‘sloppy’ denials of the Holocaust. Several scholars now propagate the explicitly false thesis that the Jews were not targeted as victims because they were Jews. What is claimed instead is that they were a minority who were persecuted by the Nazis along with other minorities.”

Charny added,

This kind of specious intellectual juggling has led to outright false statements in several articles in the “respectable” Journal of Genocide Research (JGR). The German case of Holocaust dilution or minimization is not only a German phenomenon. In one article it is claimed that the specifically anti-Jewish Wannsee Conference was not at all motivated by hatred of the Jews, but represented a policy toward European minorities as a whole, despite the fact that it was this conference that cemented the plans for the “Final Solution.”

Charny concludes, “The distorted attitude that the Holocaust is one of many genocides the German Nazi regime committed is a minimization of the basic significance of the Holocaust that a shocking number of bona fide genocide scholars have been promoting.”

There has been an explosion of Holocaust minimization in the past decade. It manifests itself in many ways, including Holocaust inversion (i.e., claiming that Israel acts like the Nazis), denial, deflection, whitewashing, de-judaization, equivalence, and trivialization, as well as other distortions that have emerged in recent years. As long as there are no broad post-Holocaust studies programs anywhere, these abuses of the memory of the Holocaust will have to be tackled one after the other.

Google Glitch Reveals Media ” Blacklist” That CEO Claims Did Not Exist.

A “glitch” which prevented Google users from being directed to conservative news sites Tuesday revealed the company essentially possesses a “blacklist” of websites, contrary to statements made to Congress by Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

On Tuesday, Google users discovered the search engine was not providing redirect links to right-leaning news sources including Infowars, Breitbart, The Daily Caller, Newsbusters, The Bongino Report, Human Events, and even news aggregator the Drudge Report.

“At least one left-leaning website, Occupy Democrats, was also affected,” reported Mediaite. “Legacy media outlets — including The New York Times and Washington Post — did not appear to be harmed.”

The company later rectified the issue and chalked it up to a glitch, but the “technical error” pointed to the existence of a blacklist, according to researchers.

“It appears to have revealed the existence of another blacklist that disproportionately targets conservatives,” software engineer Mike Wacker told Mediaite. “The glitch is that sites on this blacklist disappeared from Google search results, but the existence of the list is very much by design. And that raises a major question: Why was this blacklist created in the first place, and what else is it used for?”

Dr. Robert Epstein, whose own work has previously been censored by Google, agreed with Wacker’s assessment, saying, “It’s likely that a person or algorithm at Google added ‘breitbart.com’ and other URLs to one or more of the company’s blacklists.”

As Newswars pointed out, Project Veritas, which documented Google whistleblower Zach Vorhies’ claims of a document called, “news black list site for Google Now,” a master list of sites restricted by the company which included sites such as The National Enquirer, The Gateway Pundit and Infowars.

It would appear this story from last year, was correct. The list revealed by investigative journalists at Project Veritas- contained mostly Conservative, Libertarian and Populist leaning sites, a handful of Left leaning sites are apparently on the black list as well.

Luckily, The Jewish Voice has flown under the radar, and is not on the list. TJV however is consistently shadow banned on Facebook, rarely does a Facebook post show up on our follower’s Facebook feed.

TJV has long suspected Google manipulates their search engine, picking favorites and pushing sites they deem unacceptable towards the bottom of their searches. TJV is indeed vindicated with this verification.

In congressional testimony circa December 2018 concerning censorship and Google’s work with China on “Project Dragonfly,” Google CEO Sundar Pichai told the House Judiciary Committee the search giant does not “manually intervene on any search result.”

Did the CEO lie before congress?

The Honeymooners

Rebecca and Dave Shapiro just got married and were heading off on their honeymoon. But for some reason, Rebecca was a bit embarrassed to be known as a honeymooner.

So when she and Dave pulled up to the hotel, she asked him if there was any way that they could make it appear that they had been married a long time.

Dave responded, "Sure. You carry the suitcases!"

Kahane on the Parsha

Parshat Va'Etchanan

WHEN G-D DEMANDS CRUELT-Y

"And you shall love the L-rd, your G-d, with all your heart" (Deuteronomy 6:5). Why does the Torah use the word "l'vavcha," which implies plural hearts, rather than "libcha," which clearly means one heart? The Mishnah (Berachot 9:5) answers: "You should serve G-d with BOTH your inclinations- the good inclination and the evil inclination." Rabbeinu Yona in his commentary on the Talmud explains this as follows: "When a man does not have mercy on the wicked and is cruel to them, he performs a great mitzvah and worships G-d with the evil inclination."

The foundation of foundations of Judaism is ol malchoot shamayim, the acceptance of the yoke of heaven. A mitzvah is EXACTLY that. A COMMANDMENT. Not an approved thing; not a thing that was mulled over, considered, and then agreed to, but a commandment from the Almighty. Do! Don't! Regardless of your approval or disapproval. To smash the ego and harness it and limit it and bend it to the will of G-d.

That is, of course, the exact opposite of what I call "Saulism," after the first king of Israel, Saul. Concerning the words in I Samuel 15:5 "Va'yarev ba'nachal," the Rabbis (in Yoma 22b) explain that Saul "struggled," i.e., he struggled with himself over the commandment to wipe out Amalek, saying, "If the men sinned, why the women? If the women, why the children? If the children, why the animals?" And a voice from heaven called forth, "Do not be overly righteous."

Saulism. The inability to accept the standards of mercy and cruelty that G-d has laid down. AS G-D HAS LAID THEM DOWN. The inability to accept the yoke of heaven because of personal views and concepts that are at odds with the Torah.

That Centrist Orthodoxy is the heir of Saulism is beyond dispute. Let it never be forgotten that Saul, according to tradition, was a great scholar, av bet din of the Sanhedrin. This did not prevent him from sadly falling into the sin of following his own views and concepts and ideas concerning morality and ethics. He defied the L-rd, refused to bend to the yoke of heaven, because his heart and mind were shaped by other views and he could not accept what he considered to be the immoral and unethical command of G-d. That is the original sin of Centrist Orthodoxy, too. And as one pours over the myriad of sources that clearly show Judaism's commitment to the hatred and wiping out of evil, one is appalled at reading an article by Rabbi Emanuel Rackman, an eloquent spokesperson for Centrist Orthodoxy, as he tells Jews:

"I know how hard it is for Jews to be self-disciplined and suffer the intifada until the Arabs learn that it will gain them nothing. Many a time, I, too, am tempted to say that perhaps only Rabbi Kahane's way is the road we will have to take. He can base his militancy on Biblical texts. But it is not the true Jewish way. It is the way of bringing G-d down to the level of man. Our goal must be to bring man up to G-d's level. We MUST continue to be patient, obedient to law, and even forgiving. It is a slow road but the only G-dly one."

Few statements in my recent memory are more deliberately fraudulent and hypocritical. It is precisely the Saulists of our time, as so keenly represented by Rackman and Centrist Orthodoxy, that bring G-d down to man's level because they pervert the Torah and create it in their image. They, the ones who have been so sadly perverted by worship and adulation of the secular, non-Jewish, gentilized college and university courses they embraced, find it spiritually impossible to accept Torah values that are at such odds with what they call humanism. It is THEY who drag Torah and G-d down to THEIR level, and it is precisely those Jews who accept the Torah commandments without hesitation and queasiness of soul and intellect who raise themselves to His level.

Centrist Orthodoxy, the continuation of Saulism, is the greatest ultimate danger to Torah verities and purity. And as it becomes ever clearer that they are a retreating camp with less and less of a future, they will become more desperate in their attacks on authentic Judaism (which they call "ultra-Orthodoxy") and more radical in their accommodations with right-wing Conservatism, with whom they have more in common than they care to admit.
