Rate this book
Book three of this interconnected series concludes with messes and scars, heartbreak and forgiveness, and love that’s worth it all.

Some love is messy, some love is hard,
But in the end, it’s worth every scar.

Levi broke me. He took my heart and smashed it into pieces.
Dean picked them up and slowly started to glue them back together.
Until one day, one glance, one tragedy…
Changed everything I thought I wanted.

A heart so cold. A body so wounded.
A man so destroyed.
I may have walked away but I never really left.

With broken hearts and words of forgiveness, will we find our happily ever after?
Or are we changed forever?

“Take my hand
Take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you” E. Presley

I fell so sorry for Raina... Dean on one side and Levi on the other... cruel decision...
But in love there is no logic. The heart wants what it wants.

This very well too written part had a lot of angst and drama.
Hard decisions had to be taken, some people would be happy and others wouldn’t.

The development of the characters and the plot was fantastic and I loved the realistic atmosphere that surrounded them.

I couldn’t believe that while the ending was happy, the pain in my heart for Dean was still there...

You and Me series was emotional and heartbreaking, I liked it a lot!

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK FOREVER YOURS BY LYSSA COLE

GENRE:CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE.
AUTHOR: LYSSA COLE.
TYPE: BOOK #3 OF THE YOU AND ME SERIES.
POV:MY RATING:4 STARS.

Another and last installment in the you and me series.
Raina has to make the ultimate choice of choosing between the man who she loves with all her heart and the man who loves her with all his heart.
Till the end , it was hard to know what will be her choice. I was so frustrated with Levi 's behavior but I just couldn't come to hate him...I just wanted to hug him and tell him all will be okay...thea uthor has written such mind blowing characters who just burrows themselves in our heart. Alcoholism is a very sensitive subject and to tackle this through a character in such a graceful manner was awesome...
I adored the drama in the story...soo much drama and soo much heart break but a guaranteed HEA which will make it all worth while enduring for...
Drew was the best..vest friend anyone would wish for...the support and love the characters gave to him was soo amazing...
I love this amazing world the author has build....

READY TO BINGE READ THIS SERIES!!!!

Book 3 in the You and Me series and it was just amazing. You need to read the other two books first and trust me it will be worth it. This was a perfect end to this series. I was on an emotional roller coaster ride that started with book 1 and now I was able to step off and it was worth the ride. Loved Levi and Raina finally being able to get the HEA they both deserved.

Wow - I have waited patiently for the last installment in Raina and Levi's love story and Lyssa Cole you did not disappoint. Filled with parts that had me wiping ugly tears from my cheeks to parts that had be sighing with happiness this book was wonderful. Each and every hurdle the two had to overcome were beautifully written. Levi ripped my heart out numerous times and then with his inner strength put me right back together again. Raina's self doubt could be a reflection in many people's mirrors and I could see myself inside her eyes. A masterpiece from one book to the next that every reader will want to read and re-read time and time again. Deserves more than 5 stars!!

Lyssa Cole is seriously so talented; with each book she produces her talent shines through. I’m so proud of the journey she’s taken, and these characters have gone through a hell of a lot. I’m not a crier when it comes to books, but Lyssa had me on the verge of crying, but I held it in, but she messed with my emotions in this book…. She is pretty lethal with what she puts her characters through, but at the end of the day, they tell a story and that’s what I love about her writing. Even though Lyssa has created her own story with these characters, she’s still getting a message through with her words, and I love how creative that she gets with them each time. This book/ series will probably hit home to a lot of people, but in reality what Levi goes through in this series isn’t something to be taken lightly, if you need the help never be afraid to accept it and embrace every day as it comes by. I honestly couldn’t fault this story, I loved everything that happened and the way both Levi and Rai have both developed as characters. It’s been such a heart-breaking journey for them both, but it’s been an interesting one, and they have both grown up a lot since the first book.
If you get emotional with books, tissues are recommended because Lyssa will pull at your emotions and heart, she did with me and boy…. it was just heart-breaking reading.
It’s well worth the read, but I’d highly recommend giving this series a try because it’s just incredible.

Rai is torn between Dean and Levi… Her heart has always been with Levi, but walking away to try and let him get the help he needed was the best thing she could have done in her eyes… Now it’s months later and she’s standing in his hospital room as she’s not left his side since the accident… But now with him awake, she has no idea what is in store for her… So when he reacts badly to her being there, she has no idea what to do… Her heart is telling her to stay with him to do what she can to help him, but her mind is saying that she needs to walk away and give him the time that he needs…. With Dean lurking in the background, what will she do? Will she make the choice to leave him and try her best to help Levi with his recovery, or should she just give up with that part of her life and stick with Dean as he makes her happy???

This book is the third book in the series and needs to be read in order to be able to follow the story and it flows beautifully. The #3 in the You and Me and it really is a fantastic conclusion to Raina and Levi's love story, and boy what a love story it is.

Raina has been by his side throughout it all, everything what is happening now and her feelings are still as strong as ever even though she has someone waiting at home for her, Dean. She is being pulled in two directions in her mind but in her heart it has always belonged to Levi, and he needs her more than ever and she will not walk away at his most vulnerable time. Dean is such a great guy and has always allowed her to do what she needs but will she stays with him in spite of it all, the safe bet.
Levi has and still is going through so much and the strength in his mind and his body is so admirable that you cant help but feel it all with him.

This book was written beautifully and this will have your emotions all over the place and you well feel it all so have the tissues on hand. The characters are so familiar to the reader and after reading the other two books I couldn't wait to read this book. The characters are so deep and so connected that these two were always meant to be. I felt all the emotions in this heartbreaking book series, the pain, the love, the heartbreak, shouting, screaming its so intense but such a beautiful, powerful read and I recommend that everyone reads these book because they are so great. I cant wait to read the next book in this series Mable and Drew's story and the other stories that coming next, Must Read Books.

WTH! How is it that I wanted to strangle Raina and Levi throughout a good portion of this book and still be madly in love with it and them? Eek. Oh I know why. Because they feel like real life people who have flaws. OMG I had a knot in my stomach most of this read. I was literally yelling at the characters “no” what are you thinking?”, “stop, this isn’t going to end well,”... you get the idea. What a crazy read.

You are going to laugh at me but the saving grace for this book is “the other guy”. I love Dean. Truthfully he is too good for Raina. Ok maybe not too good but not the right one. I don’t want them together because he deserves someone who not only loves him but gets him and of course wants to jump his bones on a regular basis. Wink.

Ok back to our couple. Geesh they took me on a ride. I wasn’t sure I even liked them most of the time. That truthfully it is the brilliance of this author. Life is messy, people are messy, relationships are messy and this story depicts that in spades. Yikes. People make mistakes even the ones we love. Of course they are the ones who cause us the most pain.

So yeah. What can I tell you about this story? Plan for a roller coaster ride of emotions that brings you full circle. This book is CRAZY GOOD. No I am not as bipolar as might be indicted with this review (nothing is wrong with being bipolar by the way) but yes I am all over the place, compliments of this story.

Ugh I can’t wait for Drew and Mable’s story. Such a tease at the end of this book. SO MEAN. I want book 4 (I might be throwing a slight tantrum, don’t judge me). Eek. Most of all I NEED Dean’s story and a baby better be involved (haha). Yep already fantasizing about that story. I LOVE surprise pregnancy books by the way. Any he deserves his own HEA. WINK WINK.

HAPPY READING EVERYONE! XOXO

The angst continues as Raina is torn between Levi, the man who has always owned her heart but who has brought her so much pain, and Dean who has always loved her and been there for there through all the ups and downs she has faced.

After the events of the previous book in this series Raina has been by Levi’s side whether he knew it or not. He is angry about what has happened, and it is easier to blame Raina than to accept the part he played in the whole situation. He will need the support of his friends as he tries to become the man that Raina deserves and hope that the events of the past aren’t too much to overcome.

The characters are captivating, and the turmoil is so genuine that will have you sharing their feeling as they take us on an emotional journey and leaves us needing the stories of the secondary characters.

I loved this whole series, from start to finish there was heartache, heartbreak and love like no other.

Levi is trying to get his life back on track and after unexpected words from someone he doesn’t really know, he talks to Raina, and they agree to be just friends. She is the light to his dark, and she is determined to help him at all costs. But sometimes a stupid decision makes things much much worse and when Levi finds out what she’s done, he is fuming, and makes the situation worse.

Raina refuses to walk away, but sometimes that decision is taken away from you. Can Levi find himself and become the man he wants to be, and can the two find their way back to each other or has too much time passed.

I read the book in one sitting, and loved it all.

Raisa and Levi's story is wrought with barbed wire, pain and angst. "Forever Yours" Raisa says as Levi breaks both of their hearts. I seriously wanted to smack him in the back of his head. There is a lot of "water under the bridge" between Raisa and Levi that, just when you think it will work it doesn't. This story is an emotional roller coaster. Beauty can come out of pain and their love is a shining example. Apart they were lackluster, together they shine. This is a story of finding oneself and living your best life.

I have anxiously awaiting book three after how book two ended and what an emotional ride it was. Lyssa truly ripped my heart out with these characters and all the emotions. I found myself internally screaming for them to stop doing what they are doing and realize how they are two pieces of the same puzzle and need to be together. The growth of Levi in this read, despite all the setbacks, filled my heart. My only complaint was I wish Raina had a little more growth and strength added to her character but the love she exhibits is like no other

What an epic ride

I loved the wrap up of Levi and Raina's story. They finally got their HEA but It was not an easy road. The two had to find themselves to find a way to become a them. It was heartbreaking but in the end I think the author made it so when they finally could be together it was better for them and their relationship.

FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH FOR THIS BOOK and SERIES!!

Holy crap, I have tears on my face and a smile wider then the Grand Canyon!! When Lyssa Cole gave us a sneak of this story I didn’t want to read because I wanted it ALL at once. I feel as if Lyssa Cole got into my head, saw my past, my struggles, my loss and put it into words that I never knew I needed. Yes, this series hit home in SO many ways. I absolutely love these characters and I can’t wait to see more of them especially Drew and Mabs!! Lyssa, I know I’ve said this before but you go girl!! This series will be with me forever, thank you for this babe!! 🖤🖤

It's been a romantic journey full of tears, heartbreak, and angst for Levi and Raina throughout these three books and by the turn of the final page I was exhausted! This couple was put through the wringer from the very start with readers right beside them watching as the pain of addiction and self-doubts left them battered and bruised. Theirs was a realistic journey that Ms. Cole never sugar-coated or veered away from, every emotion and decision not always the right one but understandable. These are perfectly imperfect characters and though I was sometimes frustrated by them I still felt privileged to have taken this powerful journey with them.

Picking up right where the second installment ended, Raina's heart is still torn here between the loving and reliable Dean and Levi, the man who's broken here heart repeatedly but who still owns it. With the fallout from the previous cliffhanger looming large, Raina's left to decide who she really wants in a decision that pulls at the heartstrings as there's a lot of history for her to deal with still. When it comes to the men in her life, Levi and Dean are both delicious and I found myself drawn to both of them. Levi might be the more broken of the two, but there's a strong inner-strength to him that has helped him in his battle with alcoholism. He truly loves Raina, a deep and soulful love that feels epic. As for Dean, he would do anything for Raina and his love for her warmed my heart...but is it enough for them to find HEA? The answer to that is one that made me teary-eyed, sometimes had me wanting to throw my iPad, but by the turn of the final page all felt right in my world. Whoever Raina doesn't pick though I definitely hope to see more of as he has hero written all over him and deserves someone who loves him just as much as he loves.

Alongside this angst-fueled love triangle were the delightful secondary characters of Mabel and Drew. Mabel's been a standup friend to Raina throughout this series. She's helped Raina through dark times and supported her even when Raina wasn't as good of a friend to her, she was unconditionally supportive and a bright spot through her humor and outgoing personality. Drew's always been there for Levi too, helping him get through each day but not always in ways that he should have done. He's become more introspective though, is having to deal with his own issues of enabling and I look forward to seeing more emotional growth from him. I especially look forward to a romance between him and Mabel which is just starting to ignite by the end of this story. These are immensely likable characters, ones I've come to care about, and I'm waiting with bated breath to see more fireworks between them. On a whole I found this story an epic and unforgettable journey to HEA, one full of emotional highs and lows, that brought out a variety of emotions within me. There were tears, moments of aggravation, but by the end there was satisfaction that left me cheering. A love that was always meant to be survived an intensely rocky journey to prove that love conquers all...and my romance book loving heart couldn't be happier!

Forever You continues with all of the pain, struggle and after math Levi is having to go through after his accident. Levi's whole world is in shambles, he now has to fight through his addiction with alcohol . Rani is devestated as she has stood by Levi's side through his coma and now wants to help him with his recovery, but it will not be easy. Levi lashes out and blames her for his accident all due to him seeing her with Dean, she tries to explain that she is sorry she left him, but he is the only one she will ever love. Not being able to get through to him, in tears she decides to leave him alone. Levi has a long road ahead of him, AA meetings, rehab for his hand that he may never be able to play guitar as before and counseling. But with the help of his best friend Drew who stands with him and vows to help him heal, as they are a team he is slowly beginning to turn his life around. Levi has come to terms that he is to blame for all of the destruction he caused and now has to go to the one woman who holds his heart forever and beg for her forgiveness. Now these two will begin a journey of healing, forgiveness and growth as they give their love one more try. Now Levi has a hard road ahead of him as he may not be able to play guitar as before and his manager is pressuring him with a deadline that may cause him to be dropped from his contract. Levi will soon learn he may lose everything, but a rash decision by Rani to help him may cost her everything. Will her actions cause Levi to start drinking again? Will Levi make the hardest decision in order for him to get his life back? Will Levi finally get his career back and the woman who is his Forever You? You will be pulled in from first page of this romance story that is full of emotion, heartbreak, redemption and love. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Can't wait for the next book about Drew and Mable.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "FOREVER YOU" Hang on to your seats for the bumpy rollercoaster ride of your life full of intense emotional heartache, intrigue, angst, hurt, forgiveness, sorrow, addiction, tears, self doubt, it's a page turner you don't want to miss.
After Levi ran into Raina and Dean he saw how happy she was he was still so angry at her for leaving him he loved her so much he was at rock bottom he wanted to Dean in that moment making her happy he was in a devasting car crash with extremely bad injuries.
Raina was by Levi's side the whole time he was in hospital until he woke up still very angry with her he added why she was there he was mean and hurtful to her told he didn't love her anymore and to leave and not come back lashing out.
Raina was didn't know what to do she didn't want to leave Dean hanging but she truly loved Levi and wouldn't leave him a second time no matter what her BF Mable told her to give him time to adjust and if he rejected her again think on whether they should be together or not she deserved to be happy.
Levi and Raina's journey to find forgiveness, friendship, happiness, healing, love wasn't an easy road she broke it off with Dean that was heartwrenching he loved her so much and hoped one day he'd find someone to love him as much as a Raina loved Levi.
I defintely recommend to get this fantastic well written Trilogy so well worth the read the characters were very realistic and pulled you right into their drama will Levi & Raina find true love in the end you have to get this book to find out.
I Soooo can't wait for "Drew & Mable's" story I also hope that Dean gets his own story I loved his character he deserves such happiness. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

Wow, what a great conclusion to the You & Me Series! FOREVER YOU is book 3–have to read books 1 and 2 first—and it is a roller coaster of emotions that you will not want to put it down. Filled with hard-won wisdom. . . a perceptive and revealing book. This book was captivating, entertaining, and intriguing. I have to say, Lyssa Cole did a fantastic job in making me live in a world I am oblivious to—she dazzles us with her heady description of alcohol’s allure and its devastating hold. Not everything is as it appears. The love triangle between Levi, Raina and Dean will challenge their relationships. Levi and Raina’s love story is so emotional and exhilarating—please have tissues on hand. I felt everything Levi and Raina were going through down in my soul. The road to Levi and Raina’s happiness was wrought with heartache and the angst was intense. So much came between them, but their love couldn’t be broken. The chemistry between Levi and Raina is undeniable—their love became hate because of their pain, but neither seems able to walk away. There always seems to be some obstacles that gets in their way to tear them apart. What happens between Raina and Dean—the love that is simple, safe and comfortable? Will the door open two hearts and a tidal wave of emotions? Or can Levi and Raina learn the power of letting go and allowing the strings of life to guide them in the right direction? Will love prevail or will alcohol addiction take its course? Who will you root for? Lyssa Cole manages to weave dark and twisted plots centered on romantic ideas with artfully developed main characters. I highly recommend this book and the You & Me Series!!

Holy angst. This couple has emotionally drained me, and yet I can't get enough. They make me so frustrated, yet I still love them. They can be so toxic together, yet I still wanted them to end up together. I have had so many conflicting emotions while reading their love story, but it's so *real.*

I usually stay away from love triangles, but this one was just so painfully beautifully. The love between Raina and Levi and then between Raina and Dean is night and day different, but our girl gets something so unique in both men. She knows Dean is her safe place, knows she would be content with a life with him.. But Levi makes her feel alive even when he's destroying her. He's so damaged, and even though I hated him at times, he's one of those characters that you can't help but love.

That being said, I absolutely loved Dean. I didn't think Raina deserved him, especially with how vibrant her love still burned for Levi, but he was just so perfect with her. I usually hate the 'other' guy in these scenarios, but I can't imagine not loving Dean. That boy owns my heart and I need his book now!!

If you're looking for an angsty series that will rip your heart to shreds, but is so beautiful and addicting, this is definitely for you. Just remember these books MUST be read in order!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

I'm not an emotional female with the exception of rage from stupidity, but Lyssa Cole tried to kill me with emotion as I lived Levi & Rai's story and my eyes tried to go rogue & leak more than once. You HAVE to read these in order no matter how much pain you will be put through because otherwise, it just doesn't mean as much. I'm always the one who loves the first boy in the triangle, with that second boy I don't end up loving for whatever reason, but that wasn't the case with Dean. I'm not saying that Levi isn't Rai's person, I'm just saying that Dean stole a piece of my heart as well. There's no way that I can actually do justice to what I experienced with everything that Ms. Cole put me through, but the cherry on top is how realistic it felt because these people had flaws which led to messy relationships, while life got it's messy licks in as well. So, I really want everyone to take this journey for themselves by hitting those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

“It wasn’t the same, Levi. I didn’t love Dean the same way I love you. Dean... he was... I don’t know. Easy. A distraction. Our love was hard. Intense.” “Hard?” “At least I didn’t fall in love with someone else!”

My heart! What a beautiful conclusion to this heartbreaking love triangle. Well written, realistic and thought provoking story, with incredible characters. Love isn’t pretty, it can be ugly, nasty words and stupid actions can’t be taken back. Our hearts know what they want, but sometimes it takes longer for our heads to catch up. The three books are all quite short and this could of easily been a duet.

What kind of man sits by watching his forever sit at another’s man’s bedside. A generous one, with a heart that may have its own battle wounds, but shines brightly and deserves to find its own happiness. Raina is torn between the man who wants her and the man who doesn’t. Levi has a mountain range to climb when he’s released and fighting the battles will be hard, but anything worth having is worth the effort.

Oh my goodness. The emotions. The heart breaks. The struggles. The epic love. The HEA. The plot twists. It will have you all in your feelings and hooked from page one. But you have to read the first two books before this one.

Raina is still growing in her maturity. She had to finally realize what she wanted and how she was going to handle things. Even when she knew she was wrong, she had Levi’s best interest at heart.

Levi…oh my sweet Levi. Finally growing up to face his demons and set himself onto the right path for his life. Enduring things he never thought he would have to, just so he could live his best life.

Let’s have a shout out to the best friends ever: Mable and Drew. Without them having their best friend’s backs, I know they wouldn’t have made it through. Love and Loyalty. Always and Forever.

This author’s way of talking about a sensitive subject was amazing. The plot twists that keep you hooked and the character building was perfect.

This is the 3rd book in this phenomenal trilogy and Levi and Rai’s story continues. Rai is the light to Levi’s darkness, and she refuses to leave his side no matter what he says to her. Life and relationships can be messy at times and we are all human we make questionable decisions and choices along the way, which applies to the main characters in this story. This is a beautifully written flawless story which is and emotional roller coaster journey throughout, as well as being a heart-wrenching tale, with an intricate and in-depth plot, as well as realistic characters. This story is filled with heartbreak, forgiveness, emotions, and love which all lead to a brilliant masterpiece. I was totally enthralled throughout and cannot wait to read Dean and Mable’s story. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all.

There's so much love, hurt, and pain between Levi and Raina. Can they forgive each other and find happiness together?

We've been to hell and back with Levi and Raina. The final installment in their story is no different. Their angst factor is still off the charts. However, this time around they have grown. They are now able to overcome the hurdles they face. We are rewarded with seeing them finally find their HEA.

I hoped for a HEA for Dean as well. My heart still hurts for good guy Dean! Maybe in a future book?

Grab the tissues! This conclusion will pull at your heartstrings.

I received an early copy of this book. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.

Oh lord this book had my heart and emotions in a spin for most of it. This is the last book in Levi and Reina's trilogy and they must be read in order. If I thought Lyssa couldn't put them and me through anymore angst surprise there was even more. Both Levi and Reina frustrated me I wanted to bang their heads together and make them talk to each other. Levi's is almost unrecognisable from the guy we met in book one seeing him take responsibility and want to do better for himself made me very happy. Sometimes to get a HEA you have to fight and be selfish even if you hurt someone and Lyssa wrote this perfectly. This was a perfect ending to this series.

This book brings this heart tugging, emotional roller coaster ride of a series to its conclusion. Raina and Levi's story has been long and painful. These two honestly will make your heart ache as their love struggles to overcome the mistakes and challenges they face along the way. one moment I found myself wanting to offer comfort and a sympathetic ear to these characters and the next I would want to shake them and ask them "WTH??!!". If you enjoy reads that put your heart through the wringer, have your emotions in a tailspin and loving every minute of it, then you do not want to miss this terrific series. I am freely posting a frank review.

Wow!!! I mean just wow!!! I was anxiously waiting for this finally of Levi and Rai and let’s just say I’m happy with the ending but also I wanted to say NOOOOOOO how can you leave the story open for more your driving me nuts! Now with that being said obviously you can’t read this one with out reading the other two stories first. But I’m telling you it will suck you right in. You will be punched in the gut a few times with the storyline but trust me keep reading. I love the struggles all of the characters have/had. I can’t wait to read about Dean some more i really hope he gets a HEA! I love this author and defiantly recommend this series!!!
