My latest in the American Thinker:
White supremacist Richard Spencer is back in the news again for endorsing Joe Biden, which means that I am once again being inundated with furious messages from morons who cannot distinguish between Richard Spencer and Robert Spencer. Because of that common confusion from people who apparently think the Watergate president was Robert Nixon, I am reluctant to write about young Richard (not Robert!), but this time it’s important to consider: why would a man who has been widely reviled as a neo-Nazi, and is open and unapologetic about his racism, endorse the candidate of the party of Antifa and Black Lives Matter?
While Leftists have frequently tried to tie Richard Spencer to President Trump and his followers, portraying his advocacy of a “white ethnostate” and the complete separation of the races as the true heart of Trump’s program, the real Richard Spencer tweeted on Sunday: “I plan to vote for Biden and a straight Democratic ticket. It’s not based on ‘accelerationism’ or anything like that; the liberals are clearly more competent people.”…
Moreover, as Rating America’s Presidents: An America-First Look at Who Is Best, Who Is Overrated, and Who Was An Absolute Disaster demonstrates, Biden’s Democratic Party has a long, sorry history of promoting segregation and racial injustice. Contrary to the conventional wisdom among America’s miseducated youth today, there was no “party switch” resulting in Republicans becoming the party of racial discrimination while the Democrats became the party of racial justice. Rating America’s Presidents shows that the Republicans’ support of civil rights has been consistent and unbroken, while the Democrats’ embrace of it was cynical, self-serving and partial, epitomized by Lyndon Johnson’s derisive sneer that with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, “I’ll have those n—-rs voting Democratic for two hundred years.” In light of all that, it’s no surprise that Richard Spencer would feel at home with “liberals.”
The positions of the two parties today are quite clear. Once that black student group at NYU gets its black-only living area, the other student housing at the university will be more predominantly white. No one will be more pleased by that than Richard Spencer, one of the foremost representatives today of the idea that a man should be judged by the color of his skin, not by the content of his character. Two other major proponents of that idea are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
CogitoErgoSum says
The Democrats (Democratic Socialists) see everything in terms of race and judge people based on the color of their skin and NOT by the content of their character. Definitely the party for racists who want to take the country back to the days of segregation based on color. They are backing ideas that are the complete opposite of what Martin Luther King, Jr. had in mind.
David Darman says
What is your evidence / argument to support this assertion that Democrats see everything in terms of race and judge people based on skin color? Can you distinguish Democrats from Republicans on this issue? How so?

Quick off the mark too, you responded in 8 minute.
But sad to say, the Leftists of the world are totally deceived, and are deceiving others.
Wellington says
David Darman: Are you kidding? Democrats en masse see racism, sexism, Islamophobia, etc. everywhere. Their emphasis on the monstrosity of diversity cruelly only divides America all the more and disallows the implementation of the motto E pluribus unum.
All that should matter, where race, ethnicity and gender are concerned, is that one is an American, but instead the Democratic Party wants to see female, black, Hispanic, Asian, white, gay, lesbian, transgender, et al.
The Democratic Party is consumed by race (and other irrelevant distinctions) and the more it brings it up the more divided we become. Indeed, those on the Left want to see systemic racism everywhere, but as the black economist, Walter Williams, has said, Democrats have to keep bringing up the charge of generic systemic racism because they can’t provide any individual examples. In other words, the Democratic Party is cynically using the false charge of racism as a way to attain political power, which means, in effect, that the Democratic Party has placed party over both truth and country.
Meanwhile, Republicans “merely” want everyone to partake of the American dream (and yes, many Republicans remain naive about Islam). Hey, just imagine this: 99% of black Americans wake up tomorrow committed Ronald Reagan Republicans. I assert that this would do more good for black Americans, and all of America, in ten years, than a thousand years of divisive Democratic Party “ideas.” would.
Your turn if you care.

Do you remember that time Barack Obama talked about walking down the street and hearing the door locks click on the cars with white people in them? I thought he told that story to show that white people didn’t feel safe around black people and that it was wrong to feel that way. Yeah, I guess that story went right over my head. So the real point of that story was to tell black people they should not feel safe around white people. I really misunderstood Obama back then but I’m getting to know him (and his fellow Democrats) better now.

Unbelievable, CogitoErgoSum. The implication that people of color are not allowed on most places on campus–a lie–when she is actually trying to force white people to leave a place on campus is classic projection.

Do you remember the time Martin Luther King, Jr. told “his people” to burn, loot and steal because they weren’t getting anything? Do you remember him saying that it was okay to riot and destroy businesses because the store owners all had insurance anyway? Do you remember him saying that it was his dream that reparations be paid to all black people because nobody cared if they had food, clothing or shelter? Do you remember how he said that every single aspect of American society was racist because it was based upon the values of racist white people? Do you remember how he wanted to tear down statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson because they owned slaves? Well …. I don’t remember any of that … and I lived through the 1960’s. On the other hand I don’t think this lady knows anything at all about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. … and I’m pretty sure Joe Biden no longer even remembers the 1960’s.

C.E.S. I agree with your comments. Only one detail suggests mine. I think few people read carefully most insurance contracts. From those contracts I have read, riots, public disorder and war are excluded from coverage of losses. That means either the “insured” must take the loss, or through government assistance the taxpayer takes the loss.
The refusal, not the failure, but the deliberate planned carefully chosen refusal, to provide “honest services” in office by state officials is a federal crime. Why are they not being prosecuted. See for example United States v. Gary Greenough, 609 F.Supp 1090 (S.D. Ala. 1985), 782 F.2d 1556 (5th Cir. 1986), and United States v, Dan Alexander, 850 F.2d 1500 (11th Cir. 1988). There are many cases where public officials have been convicted for failing to do their duty for those they are supposed to be serving.
What is the difference? If any it is the many federal lawyers who for most of this country’s history who were employed at will and could be terminated upon changes in administration. Many of those lawyers were put under civil service to remain in positions of power and influence in the Department of Justice long after the previous administration was voted out of office.
It is worth time to read Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and The Nazi Seizure of Power for a view of the totalitarian plan now being performed to take our freedom. Unless we act, some time from now someone will be writing The Rise and Fall of the United States of America, with just as gory a betrayal of rights and liberties as any country has ever witnessed.

+1 The problem we face as a nation is fascism and not being able to address the problem of society with the only tools we have available and that’s statistics. We cannot ask for statistics anymore because that is now racist. The morons that suffer are the ones creating the suffer. Enablers (lefty loonies) must learn to balance power between the people and their government. Right now, the fear is that if you are a Republican and white, you are a rip target for battering and possibly murder. If you are a black Republican, you get shunned from their (black community) society as an outcast racist traitor. All of this social disposition is brought on by losing power in government exacerbated by willful ignorance of what freedom in the United States of America really means (life, liberty and happiness). Until demoncrat-run cities and the people that live in them and teach in them realize that the roots of freedom do not come from communism, fascism or socialism, those cities are doomed.

Even many Americans won’t get what I am about to state, let alone foreigners, but here it is: The Democratic Party of the USA has been the party of rebellion, the party of the Ku Klux Klan, the party which opposed the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments, the party of Jim Crow, and the party of substituting the welfare state for the white plantation master.
The continued existence and approbation of the Democratic Party by a shitload of fools only helps to prove Napoleon’s cynical view of the past, to wit, that history is a pack of lies agreed upon.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party of the USA owes its genesis in the 1850’s COMPLETELY to its opposing the extension of slavery in the Louisiana territory acquired from France in 1803—by way of the imbecilic Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 and which overturned the Missouri Compromise of 1820. This is exactly why the greatest American of all time, one Abraham Lincoln, came out of political retirement. And his doing so saved the greatest nation ever constructed by man and he gave his life for this.
Yes, I know, the truth is often lost in the details, but this is not the fault of the truth but of ignorance and/or laziness on the part of many human beings. The best interests of black Americans in our time EASILY lies with voting for Trump and the Republicans in 2020.
Many lies will have you believe otherwise but they are lies. But lies, you know, are often more powerful than the truth because, as powerful as the truth is, ignorance of the truth is often times even more powerful. This helps explain in part why mankind keeps doing dumb things over and over and over again.
Time for a beer. And may I say in closing I can excuse non-Americans for not grasping all that I said above. After all, how much do I and other Americans know the history of their nation? But I cannot excuse any American for not knowing what I stated above. A la Luther at the Diet of Worms in 1521, “Here I stand; I can no other.”

Graven, I think he is completely serious. He’s not a fan of Trump and I think he realizes that the Democrats’ desire to divide people into groups based on race fits his own agenda perfectly. Oddly enough Tim Pool just today gave a most fitting response to David Darman’s question (at the top) on why the Democrats and not the Republicans are really the party full of racists. I hope I’m not posting too many links today but I think this video from Tim is very worth watching and he makes the case much better than I could:

So leftists castigate Richard Spencer for wanting a white ethno State.
I wonder why we hear nothing then about the call from Black leaders such as the Black Panthers for what amountS to a separatist black ethno state?
They want their own areas, sometimes just Texas, at others several South East states to set up a ‘nation within a nation’.
Total independence is not generally called for, because, one supposes, that would mean all the cash benefits of white society would dry up.

I’m curious to know how these residents will identify their living area. Is everyone just supposed to know it is a black-only area or will there be a sign? What will the sign say? Blacks only? That would remind me of the signs in the 1950s that said ‘colored only’. So today’s blacks want 1950s era segregation, except on their terms? It’s been quite the circle these past 60 years. And define ‘black’. Would Obama get the bum’s rush or worse should he get caught visiting the facilities?
