Grave (The Dark Kingdom Book 3) Kindle Edition
GRAVE
My life went to hell years ago, and I've had a death wish ever since then with fast cars, women, and drugs. They don't call me Grave for nothing!
But I do it because I need to feel something... anything. What's life worth living without the high?
And then I saw her!
She's too good for me, and I should stay away. But like an addict, I switch one drug for another, and I'll be taking her to hell with me.
APRIL
I'm anything but sweet, despite what people think, so when he tells me I'm too good for him and I'm better off without him, I don't listen.
My life was simple before Grave stepped through that door, but who wants simple?
He makes me feel alive. It only took one, and I became addicted!
But that's the problem. Addiction is Grave's middle name, and when he tells me he's taking me to hell with him, I don't know whether to take that as a threat or a promise!
Grave is the third book in The Dark Kingdom Series but may be read as a standalone. Due to mature content and themes this book is recommended for readers aged eighteen and over. This novel may contain triggers.

Can’t wait to carry on with the next book.
I totally recommend this book and series, best to read them in order
5 stars given
The pacing in this is a bit off like the first 20% was so slow then it picked up for like 10% and now it’s slow again. It’s all over the place.
I still didn’t really feel or understand what it was about April that Grave found so life changing. it never really hit home for me. What about her exactly was so special that he felt this need or desire to want to change his lifestyle? They had some shared interest around art and tattoos and things but I didn’t feel the strong connection between them. I didn’t believe that she would be enough for him to want to make some of these changes. It felt a bit flat for me. It felt like it plateaued. I enjoyed the story but I didn’t enjoy their relationship. I didn’t believe it. I didn’t feel it as I was reading.
But..... The all have their own issues and demons which make the stories different, I really enjoyed this one as it focuses on addiction and the struggles people go through with expectations that have been forced on them.
.
I loved the first book and titan will always be my preferred. But Grave? He’s in a whole other level.
.
I absolutely loved the journey our characters went on. It’s so fulfilling at the end when they get to where they do and these characters went through some stuff. Full of tension, passion, darkness, violence, substance abuse and a whole lot more, this book will consume you.
.
This was one heck of an emotional ride, more so I felt than Titans story. There’s so much more to the characters than what meets the eye and unravelling all of that through out the book was truly an experience. The word build adds to the story. It sets the tone but also adds more authenticity and makes the experience reading so much fuller. It was very well developed and is so vivid that it captivated you and grips you to the end.
.
I cannot wait to see what Shantel has in store for us with Cross’s book. No doubt it will blow us away just as much as the first two books.

Must read series
Enjoy
He has a lot of addictions to overcome but I love seeing him fight and I love how good for him April is!
Great book! I'm eager to dive into Cross now 😍
I loved the main characters, April is just the sweetest rose with thorns and Grave 🫠. To see a guy in touch with his feelings like that always makes me melt!! Plus, it was HOT! There chemistry was off the chart. I just can’t find a single thing I didn’t like, it was just perfect! I can’t wait to read the next one to see what happens to them next, even if it’s through others’ POV. Thanks for this amazing series ❤️
This story is part of a series where all the major characters get there own book and HEA. BUT, I have been looking for Silent Nite, the last book (6th) that should have come out long ago, and I am very disappointed to say that I don’t think it was written… i can’t believe that it’s been promoted for so long and it didn’t come out after the last book of the series in 2022. After 5 books in this series, I was getting attached to does characters and feel abandoned in the end…
I’m a sucker for reading series and when it’s left with no ending 😱😡
I have to lower my reviews a little of the whole series.
