My Perfect Girl Kindle Edition

4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars 8 ratings

My Perfect Girl,

I need you by my side, now more than ever. I'm growing weak with every passing day, and my control is slipping. If I were as stubborn as before, no matter how badly I wanted to, I wouldn't allow you to come to me as a reprieve I desperately sought. I would be content with just hearing stories of your success and watching you on TV. Remember what I had told you the first time we met? I would give you flight and watch you soar high. I would never become the wings that would one fine day become the dead weights to bring you down. I did live up to my words.

You've always wished to hear these words from me but I never gave them to you, afraid that you would never leave me. It's time you learn the truth about my feelings. We've known each other for twenty years now but have spent more time apart than together. Staying away from you, meeting time and again only to walk away on different paths? It hurt more than I could ever put in words. My feelings for you can't be encompassed in the mere four letter word. It transcends time and space. I could never let my feelings for you die, so I chose to set you free to build your life without me in it. Though I couldn't always be with you, I'm glad that I was there to save you when you needed me the most. Despite us not being together, remember that our lives will always be intertwined, bonded by our unique love. You'll forever be my perfect girl.

I think it's time for us to meet again. Yet, I'm hesitating to send you this letter. It'll just cause you more heartbreak, when all I want is to see you happy.

For the first and last time, I'll leave this decision to fate. Even without this letter, I know you'll come for me.

Yours truly,
Ayden

My Perfect Girl is a standalone contemporary romance. It's an emotional and angst filled story of two star crossed lovers. It also deals with heavy subject matters and sexual content. Recommended for readers who are 18+.

Meghana Sarathy is from Bangalore, India. She is an avid reader and also a writer. She writes Adult and New Adult romance, and also wishes to try her hands at dark and psychological thrillers. She especially loves reading and writing love triangles, taboo romance, and angst filled stories that are quite complex and unconventional. Her books tend to involve protagonists who are flawed, far from perfect, and as real as they can get. Her all-time favorite characters are her very own characters- Jennifer, Brandon and Linden. She tends to fall hard for boys who are either cocky, bossy, good flirts and total charmers.

She spends most of her free time reading, writing, watching anime or binging shows. Her favorite genres are Psychological Thrillers, Teen Drama and Sci-fi (especially time travel stories). Being a business analyst in a financial firm, she is plugged into the world of finance and has also dabbled in cloud technology. She plays platform games in PS5 when taking short breaks from writing. She is a crazy fan of Dragonball Z and can be seen watching the episodes in repeat. Vegeta is her all-time favorite anime character. Steins Gate and Monster come second in the list of her favorite anime, and currently Mr.Robot and Dark are her fav non-anime series.

Absolutely beautiful and filled with so much angst..and yet the book leaves you with a sense of fulfillment. It's a tale of struggles, victory, loss, seperation and love and the journey of life as a whole. There are so much elements to it. The characters and their actions are so thought provoking..and it also brings about so many different perspectives in this beautiful love story of Ayden and Margery. It's so unique and fresh.....and so real. Highly recommend.

My Perfect Girl by Meghana Sarathy was a great 5 star read.
Where to start with this review, I will say that it did take me a little bit of time to get pulled into the story as I got to know each of the characters.

This is Aiden and Margery’s story and the way they meet is very unique. There is something about Aiden that Margery trusts and is willing to open up to him. Aiden offers to help her. The love that blooms is great and my heart grew as Aiden fell for Margery and loved her.

Can they have a HEA? What will it take?

Overall this was an emotional read as the story developed. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. You get an emotional rollercoaster of a ride along with hope, love and so much more. I will warn that some scenes may cause triggers for some. If you're looking for a real love story this is the read for you. 1-click and get started today.

This is a new to me author so I had no expectations going in. This book tells the story of Margery and Ayden. You get pulled into the past and present. You see what sacrifices one will make in order to protect and keep the ones they love the most. You’ll get pulled and sucked into so many emotions with the characters that at times you’re left questioning what is happening and if there will be any form of a happy ending. These kind of books wring a lot out of me. My heart is bruised my the end even though it’s in the name of love. This book is definitely one that you should give a shot but be prepared for the emotional turmoil.

Wow, where to start with this review! Aiden and Margery’s story is not just a love story about girl and boy meets, fall in love, and have a HEA. This story pulls out all the stops with feeling and emotions from the very beginning and turns this tale into a thought-provoking story, which is an emotional roller coaster throughout. Aiden does not see Margery as a girl who has struggled through life with a rags-to-riches story, he sees her as perfection and inspirational with all her flaws included. This is a poignant love story which spans through a lifetime and is a unique and relatable experience which is filled with heartbreak, loss, acceptance, hope, success, lust, and with love. Be aware there may be triggers in this story for some readers, but this author has penned a magnificent tale which covers the subject matter with sensitivity and care. This is an intricate and riveting story which had me enthralled throughout, and I cannot wait to read more from this gifted author, whose work I recommend.

Meghana is a new to me author and I have to say this book was a very pleasant surprise. This is a love story with a difference. The author explores the many different kinds of love, how much you are willing to give up for the one you love and what you are willing to sacrifice. The writing pulled the many aspects of this story together so well. With chartacters that infuriate that will break your heart and give you hope. If you are looking for a change from your usual book purchases I urge you to take a chance on this book.

This is a beautifully written story about love in many different forms. How love makes us feel, how love affects our decisions and actions. How far are you willing to go for love, how much will you sacrifice? This author delivers a powerful story that is both heartbreaking and heartwarming with wonderfully complex and flawed characters. I highly recommend this book

This book holds a very special place in my heart. My soul literally bled into the pages of the book. It's so unique, unconventional and so beautifully tragic. I honestly feel I have outdone myself with this book and have raised the bar so high for myself. Sometimes I wonder, how I managed to do it without breaking down. I don't even have a count of just now many lines and dialogues I have highlighted and no matter how many times I read it, it still has the same mesmerizing effect on me. Every time I read, I feel like leaving a review for self-appreciation, because i
deserve it and it makes me so very proud. Ayden and Margery are something else and I am so in love with everything they stand for and in awe of their struggle and story.
