I never thought I'd get a second chance at love.

Candace

When my hotshot brother was drafted in the NHL, he didn't have time to do his social media, so I took over for him. Little did I know it would become my career.

My plate was full with over fifty NHL players, and I wasn't taking on any new clients.

Yet when he showed up on my doorstep with the cutest little girl in the whole world, I couldn't say no.

I was just helping, but it turned into more than that. He's the man I've been waiting for.

I’ve never read a more dramatic people in my freaking life. 🙄😂
Yes, he called her his dead wife’s name, be glad he didn’t do it while you were doing it. She’s acting like he cheated, crying and calling everyone telling them how he called her “Cassie” and he’s thinking that he was having a heart attack and crying because he hurt her by saying the name was funny asf as well as stupid. Bunch of ridiculous people!

"Every single piece of you was made for me."
When I got one of the books of this series as a Christmas present (thank you, Jodi!), I knew I had to start reading it. It's been on my TBR forever. I loved the characters, the book, and Natasha Madison's style, so I'm definitely reading more of them.

"He’s my everything."
I've said somewhere before I don't easily fall at a single dad's feet just because he's a single dad. There needs to be something else. And Ralph has it all in spades. Not only is he the most amazing dad to Ariella, his little girl (loved the name, by the way), but also the perfect combination of sweet and hot. He broke my heart at times because he's been through so much. And living with guilt is not really living at all.

"Candace." I say her name back, and I don’t know what I’m telling her, if anything. "You are always a ten, (....) Definitely always a ten."
Independent, fierce, sassy, strong, and fun. Candace is that. To top it off, she's also the sweetest thing around the people she loves, and a kick-ass social media manager. She has two sides: her business side, and the romantic side she carries and doesn't show everyone, until Ralph brings it all out.

"Everything changed the minute I put my lips on you."
Ralph needs to boost his social media presence to get some sponsors, and everybody keeps recommending Candace. When he sees her for the first time, something clicks. When she sees him and his little girl, everything changes for her too. They desperately want to get closer, and they can't stop thinking about each other. But she doesn't date her clients, ever, because it's likely to end badly.
But what if Ralph is worth the risk?

"What if I said that I want to unpack my boxes. I want to take your boxes and then take mine, and I want us to unpack the boxes together."
Granted, he doesn't make it easy on her, and she falls a little bit more for him every day, while also falling for his kid at the same time. And after that first kiss... all bets are off.
The way their lives entwine is so easy, like they've been waiting to find each other. He opens up to her like he hasn't to anyone ever, and she can be herself around him. They're perfect together. There's a lot of sizzling chemistry here, and it's slow burn so you'll have to wait a while, but it's totally worth it.

"He’s made all of my dreams come true, and it all started with only one kiss."
I love sports romance, and this book really puts the emphasis on romance. Ralph will make you swoon and the three of them together will melt you. All it took was one kiss for them, and they all captured my heart.

I like hockey romances so much. But I just couldn’t get into this one. Everything felt too forced in the relationship from the moment they met to the “groveling” in the end.

It’s a me case in here, it wasn’t a bad book but I just didn’t like this one from the author’s work.

The misspellings need revision in my opinion 😊

I had a wonderful time with the series “This Is” and Only One Kiss was a fantastic start for the new “Only One” series.
A very heartwarming and sweet sports romance read!

Ralph was a great single dad character, focused, passionate and slightly over possessive.
Candace, a strong and feisty social media expert, independent, and caring.
Ariella, the cutest and most adorable 5 months old princess, stole my heart from the very start.

Beautifully written, very well developed characters, fine paced, dual pov.
I liked Ralph and Candace’s chemistry and their connection, they were an amazing couple❣️

So I just finished the Southern series and naturally I had to jump straight into this one. And I didn't read the blurb, I just figured it was more small southern town secrets. So, I was really shocked when I realised that Candace was related to characters from the This Is series. Which kind of sucks since it's still sitting in my kindle waiting for me to have time.

Luckily, the story is a new series and can be read as a standalone. But it does have me wanting to drop everything and curl up with those books, damn commitments.

Anyway, this was back in the hockey world with a widowed father and I was nervous. Dead spouses are always a hard one to juggle especially when there are children involved. Obviously I don't want them to be compete psychos and have zero feelings for the ex but people tend to romanticize the dead. And then you've got the whole survivor’s guilt and things are messy.

Thankfully, Natasha walked the line perfectly and gave us a hero we could love. Who was made even better by a heroine that was understanding and mature and sweet and perfect. Honestly, the worst thing about the hero for me was that he was named Ralph. But that’s a me issue and I quickly got over it.

Candace and Ralph were so great together. They communicated like adults. And little Ariella was the star of the show. She was painful, and interrupting and exactly the age appropriate little cock blocker that babies are. But I loved that she was put front and centre by both of them in everything because that's what babies do. They hijack your life and make you so sleep deprived that you love them for it.

This book was perfect. There was emotion, chemistry, sex scenes and great characters. I am hoping that the teaser means we are getting Miller's next and I am so there for the drama and angst I am already anticipating.

I've really enjoyed this story.
I have a problem with Natasha Madison's books I finish them too quickly, her writing is so smooth that I don't want put my reader down until the ens of the book.

Ralph, is a single dad and a hockey player. He tries to balance his career and being the best dad a baby girl could have. It is not easy and even if he wants to do everything by himself at one point he understands he needs some help. He hires a nanny and reluctantly a social media manager.
Candace is the best social media manager, her high profile clients, mostly hockey players, need a lot of attention and she can't add another jock to her list but Ralph comes with a cute five months baggage named Ariella who stole her heart at first sight and she cannot refuse.
Will their relationship be strictly work or will they act on their growing attraction?

I recommend to read this book because it is emotional, sweet and funny.

Only One Kiss is the first book in a spinoff series. This is is Ralph & Candace's story and is a single dad hockey romance which is usually right up my alley but sadly I did not love this one was much as I thought I would.

Even though this is stylized as a standalone I found the beginning of the book wasn't as smooth of a transition for someone like me who has not read the previous series connected to this story. There were a lot of names and characters thrown in and family dynamics which left me feeling like I had missed part of the story though luckily for me that did eventually go away and I was able to fully immerse myself into this world and set of characters.

Ralph - I loved how much he cared about his daughter and how he was willing to do everything he could to make sure she always felt loved. He was emotional conflicted at times but I actually enjoyed when he did eventually show his true feelings and emotions regarding everything he was holding back. He went through a difficult situation but ultimately his care and concern for his daughter & the people he loved really won me over.

Candace - she was career focused and family orientated which lead her to be very cautious of who she let into her personal life and after a bad experience was determined to not mix business with pleasure. She was sweet, funny, sassy, loveable and kind but I also often found her to be immature and slightly naive.

I did like Ralph & Candace's relationship dynamic & spark as well as the natural and organic problems that we're thrown their way and if if the story had stayed that way and focused on the 2 or 3 main reasons for their initial individual reluctance at getting into a relationship and had emotionally explored just those things I know I would've enjoyed this book a lot more than I did but that may very well be a 'it's me not you" problem.

Sadly this book just had too many flaws in the way it was told and I couldn't over look these aspects such as : The "over the top" drama which made it feel like a soap opera most of the time. The way in which each charcter would over react to certain situations with responses that did not feel genuine at all, the contradictions in the things they would say about others but then act certain ways themselves, the extremely unnecessary slut shaming that added nothing to the story except make me question the age and mentality of the characters, Ralph's "Alphaness" was too cringey for my liking and just the down right ridiculous way some scenarios played out.

I have read only one series by this author before and even though I did enjoy it I found similar issues in the way the story plays out but in those books it felt milder and easily ignored, for me here it was just to much and sadly I do not think I will continue with this series.

If I read the words "Tentage" & "Boobage" one more time I may actually cry. I lost count of how many times this book made me cringe.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Natasha Madison is fast becoming a favourite and I could not resist signing up to review her latest book.

“One kiss is all it takes for me to fall in love with you”.

This statement reflects the story told in Only One Kiss, the first book in the Only One series.

The story introduces Candace, a social media influencer to the top NHL players. She started out promoting her brother and in no time, she became a well sought-after influencer. She has one rule which has served her well throughout her career, not to get romantically involved with any of her clients. However, rules are sometimes made to be broken.

Ralph is learning to juggle fatherhood and hockey after losing his daughter’s mother during childbirth. He lacks social media presence which he needs to gain sponsorship. Candace came recommended, however there was a problem she was not taking on any new clients. Will he be able to convince her to provide the help he needs?

Ralph struggles with pain, and guilt over the loss of his daughter’s mother and events from his childhood. He did not have a great life growing up, and hockey offered him the escape he needed. It became his saving grace. He never knew what it meant to love and be loved unconditionally until the birth of his baby girl. Now everything he does is done with her at the forefront of his mind.

Candace is the consummate professional. She is kind-hearted, genuine and a joy to be around. She was reluctant to take on Ralph as a client, which was understandable given her attraction to him, but he needed her help. I enjoyed watching her interactions with her family, Ralph and most of all Ari. Ralph’s baby girl.

The story featured some interesting and not so stable secondary characters. Ralph’s baby sitter being the unstable one. All I will say on this is she is nuts. I had a wonderful time getting to know the other characters and I am looking forward to reading their stories.

Their first encounter revealed an undeniable chemistry between them. Candace was rendered speechless upon laying eyes on the hunky hockey player and his adorable baby. Ralph could not take his eyes off her, which contravened his vow of not getting involved in a relationship. They both tried fighting their insane attraction to each other and thought of every reason they should not get involved, but it only took one kiss to change everything.

I enjoy a good slow burn romance and Only One Kiss gave me that and more. The romance that developed was intense and hot enough to cause heart palpitations. Despite the heat there were heart-breaking moments, however I am happy to report it worked itself out.

Conclusion/Recommendation
Only One Kiss is a well written romance which tugged on the heart and left the reader satisfied and eager for more from this talented author. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

4.5 stars!

The start of a new series from Natasha Madison, and a sweet, sexy and emotional single-dad sports romance that absolutely melted my heart. I read this book in a day, unable to put it down, and I loved it!

This is the story of Candace and Ralph. Candace is a social media expert for professional hockey players, Ralph is a member of the Dallas team who is the single father of a 5 month old baby girl. (Fun fact: Candace is the younger sister of Evan from This Is Crazy, creating a fantastic link to Natasha’s other work, and allowing characters from the This Is series to make some very welcome cameos.)

Candace doesn’t date clients, Ralph isn’t interested in finding love, but from the moment they meet, it’s clear that these two are going to be breaking all of their rules. There is an immediate attraction, but things don’t go really well, and though it’s awkward, it’s also entertaining, and the chemistry is so much fun. Candace can’t resist Ralph’s baby daughter, Ariella – or the sight of the gorgeous, muscly hockey player snuggled up with his little girl (swooooon!), so when she steps in to help him out professionally and personally, it puts them both in a position where they can’t hide their feelings any longer.

“I’m petrified of getting hurt in all of this, and I’m petrified that if I don’t take this chance, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life.”

I love this love story! It’s fun, easy and natural, and it’s super functional, and there's this great sense of anticipation as they talk and get to know each other, they flirt and have fun together, and they just easily slip into more. I loved every moment of it!

“Everything changed the minute I put my lips on you.”

There’s a really nice build-up, which makes everything so much more intense when things finally start to get real, and oh, holy lord, it’s hot. Can I just say… the stamina on this guy! Phew, I was exhausted just reading about it. But it shows just how connected these two are. They have a beautiful relationship, and those sweet little moments with little Ariella completely melted me.

But their trip to a HEA isn’t without drama, and there are some really heartwrenching scenes in this book. A tad heavy, perhaps, but it makes sense for the story. And oh, my heart was with Ralph and all that he was going through, and I was feeling it all!

“I was never all in.” I take a deep breath. “I want to be all in, and I want to do it with you.”

The resolution is blessedly quick, and we get not one, but two delicious epilogues which provide wonderful closure for Candace and Ralph (and Ariella)’s story, and which left me dreamy sighing and hugging my kindle in bliss.

“Every single piece of you was made for me.”

There’s a fantastic bunch of side characters, and glimpses of future stories to come for most of them (Manning!), and I’m so freaking excited to continue on with this series!

I loved this one! 4.5 stars!

⭐️ 5 "All In" Stars ⭐️
This first installment in the Only One Series was so freaking amazing. Single dad romances always get to me deeply and Only One Kiss wasn't an exception. I couldn't get enough of Candace, Ralph and baby Ariella. Natasha Madison easily captured my heart with this slow burn romance brimming with feels and passion. It’s not a secret that the Something So Series and its spin-off This Is Series are my absolutely favorite sports romances. I love this group of protagonists so much and to get a second spin-off series was the most amazing news.

Candace, Evan’s little sister, is the best in her field as a social media manager for NHL players. She has a rule not to date her clients, but her last one is kind of irresistible. Her instant attraction toward Ralph makes their business relationship difficult. I loved the beautiful, slow romantic built of their relationship. They become friends and their undeniable sparks can only combust into a stunning love story.

Candace is such a beautiful soul. She’s an independent woman, dreaming of her own happily ever after. She’s driven in her work and effortlessly loses her heart to little Ariella. Her maternal fiber is so strong and I really enjoyed how she took such good care of Ari. By doing so, she also grow closer to the taciturn Ralph.

There’s something about this sexy, single dad. He’s very private and lives for his little girl after the death of his girlfriend in childbirth a few months earlier. He doesn’t open up a lot and is a complete mystery. He’s the kind of hero worth discovering one layer at a time though. His instant connection with Candace is somewhat conflicting to him. Their interactions are lovely, cute and charged with feels. As much as he’s the good guy, he can also be totally alpha and possessive. When his feelings for Candace grow stronger, the jealousy starts but not in an overbearing way. Just a swoon-worthy one, where you clearly see the love blossoming.

It was so amazing to see Evan, Zara, little Zoey, Justin and Caroline again, but also discover a new cast that will be the star of the upcoming novels in the series. Only One Kiss, was a compelling, butterfly in the stomach inducing romance that stole my heart by its gorgeousness. Natasha Madison never fails to prove her talent with these must read sports romances. Don’t miss this one!

Everytimes i read one of Natasha Madison' books i remember why i love so much her style: her stories are funny, engaging, passionate, sexy, with just the right amount of drama that makes you shed a few tears before you get to the happy ending.

Only One Kiss is the story of Candace, Evan' sister ( from "this is crazy"), and Ralph.

Ralph is left with a baby girl to raise by himself. She is his whole world, apart from hockey and a second chance in love is the least of his thoughts.... Until he meet Candace.

Candace works everyday with NHL players to improve their presence on social media.
She is the best in her work, and she has one rule: never dating clients.... Until she meet Ralph.
"𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒔.... 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒔"

From the first page you are sucked into the story: putting down the book is almost impossible.

Candace is amazingly sweet, selfless, she values her family and she know what she want for her life.

Ralph gone through a lot, but he find the strenght to go on for her daughter.
He and Ariella are so cute 😍
Ralph is deteminated to never get involved with someone, but staying away from Candace proves to be more difficult than expected.

Their interactions are so damn funny and sweet at the beginning, then, slowly, very hot 🔥🔥
With the right level of angst, Natasha Madison made me even cry a little bit, til she gave me the HEA i was waiting for 😍😍

I just loved this book 🖤🖤
And i can't wait for the next one to come out !!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that this is more of the hockey extended family from Natasha’s other books. Yet another spinoff series that is really starting off with a bang. I really love all of these characters….past & present.

Candace is known as the Social Media expert in the athletic world so when someone needs help to either get their accounts rolling or when they have messed something up and caused a scandal she is the one to get it rolling in the right direction.

Since I have read most or maybe even all of the other hockey books by NM, I met Candance since she is Evan’s sister. Evan is married to Zara and when they were still dating Candace was horrible to Zara. Now she has a great relationship with her brother and his wife and she is the best aunt ever to her niece Zoe.

Ralph lost his wife in child birth and is raising his baby girl on his own. Between his hockey schedule and being a single dad he doesn’t have the time or know-how to take care of all his social media. First things first he needs a nanny and then a Social Media Manager.

I really enjoyed their journey together and as always there are some laugh out loud moments. I am a little embarrassed to admit that when Candace’s heart was broken I cried right along with her, I mean serious tears!!!

So many red flags and the MCs act like children.

Ok, so the main premise of the story is that widowed father Ralph needs the help of social media guru Candace in order to restart his career. They both fancy the pants off eachother from the first meeting and slowly their lives become entwined. So far so good, but it soon becomes a tale of 2 emotionally crippled adults who can't communicate and emotionally blackmail eachother for their own needs.

First we have the many misunderstandings the two have to go through to finally start talking. I think they were meant to be humourous but all I could think was, what adult actually behaves like this. They both just leave in a huff at the drop of a hat, and never really have a conversation that feels natural outside of the sex chat. And really all Ralph needs to do is ask Candace to work for him. And yet somehow this adult can't quite get the words out.

And when he does finally get round to talking about his social media presence, somehow Candace thinks he's asking her to be a babysitter. And I don't get why. She knows he's a professional hockey player with terrible social media skills. And she's a professional social media manager. But no, her first thought as a grown woman is, he needs a babysitter. Ridiculous people.

But that's just merely annoying. What was actually enraging to me was the red flag behaviour on both the MC's part.

First we have Ralph constantly trying to police what Candace wears. He makes disparaging remarks about Candace's clothes constantly. Apparently even a tight pair of jeans are worth a comment (and not in a good way). It's the 21st century can we please stop negatively commenting on what women wear. It's not sexy or alpha, it's just a warning sign of a controlling asshole.

But actually in this book Candace is the biggest asshole. She's desperate for marriage and children and so this creates the third act rift. See Ralph doesn't want marriage or more kids. Mainly (I'm guessing here as the author can't be bothered to explain) because he has trauma at seeing his previous partner die in childbirth. But rather than discuss this like adults, Candace breaks up with Ralph in an emotional showdown and then jumps on a private jet to move to another state. Yes, that's a totally rational response to a disparity in relationship goals. Not once does she try to understand his viewpoint or express why she wants her own child. Nope it's all toys out of the pram and off we go.

So how does it end. It should end with a talk about all their issues and maybe some therapy and compromise. But instead it ends with Ralph doing a complete 180 when he realises he either caves to all Candace's demands or loses her forever. And he literally makes this dramatic lifestyle change in the matter of minutes.

And finally when the epilogue has Candace giving birth (because of course it is), Ralph's panicked reactions to the birth are played as laughs. It's just so unrealistic and uncaring of all involved. There would be major trauma from his previous experience of childbirth but that's glossed over.

I just can't see this relationship lasting, sorry. Both MCs have the emotional intelligence of a 3 year old.

Ralph only has love for Ariella (Ari) and quite honestly he doesn't think he could ever give his heart to anyone else. Despite being through some hard trials Ralph is trying to keep going because Ari depends on him completely. He was quite yet when he needed to Ralph let his caveness show! Candace is the "It" girl and she made a decision long ago to never date a hockey player....but then Ralph comes out of nowhere and her heart clearly did not get the message.

The chemistry between Ralph and Candace is slow but boy was it hot! They danced around each other until they couldn't anymore and then BOOM that one kiss happens and all bets are off!! Well that's all you're getting from me because you need to be dazzled on their romance and be ready with your choice of cold drink and lots of sweets! Trying to wait patiently for the next goodie from Natasha Madison ❤ Kara~ 5 Stars

Meh, this was a generic fluffy read - perfect for a Sunday afternoon.

I liked Ralph and Candace, but the dramatics at the end were a bit much for me.

Yes, he called her his dead wife’s name. Yes, it was offensive, but honestly, the theatrics!

And as for Ralph suspecting he had a heart attack when she left? I shouldn’t laugh, but 🤣.

Swoony, Sweet, and Sexy!!!
Natasha Madison is the queen of swoon!

About Only One Kiss:

Only One Kiss is the first book in the Only One series by Natasha Madison. This novel is told from both Ralph and Candace’s point of view.

Ralph is a new single father living his life and trying to be the best dad he can possibly be for his baby girl. But every night he finds he’s haunted by the ghost of what ifs and whys. He’s pulled under in the turmoil of the past and his daughter’s mother’s passing.

Candace has made a name for herself in the social media world. Her client list is full and she’s living life exactly the way she wants. But she finds something is still missing. The doorbell rings and one glance at Ralph holding his little girl in her doorway has her heart feeling things she’s never felt at first glance. She’s in trouble and she feels it deep in her bones.

My Thoughts:

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly why Natasha Madison is one of my top ten favorite authors!!!! I find myself always getting excited when I see NM is coming out with another novel. But when I found she was writing another hockey spinoff series, I’ll admit, I screamed so freaking loud!!! Her hockey romances are an addiction!! I can’t seem to get enough!

HELLO SWOON!! What’s better than a single father… I’ll tell you what’s better. A single father who dotes on his baby girl and plays professional hockey!!! Ralph will go down in Natasha Madison history as being one of my favorite heroes! This man was everything I love in a book boyfriend.

Candace is miss independent. She’s built a business on her own two feet and she is the top social media expert in her career. But she craves for the next step in life. A husband, a baby, and a white picket fence. I loved her character from the very start!! I vibed with the sweet and sassy spirit that lived within her. But what I loved most was the moments when it was her and Ariella. Their bond was strong right from the start.

It should come as no surprise, I’m a sap when it comes to single parent novels. What I love most about tropes such as these are all the emotions that come with it. Only One Kiss was a whirlwind roller coaster ride of emotions. Natasha Madison didn’t disappoint when bringing all the feels to the table! There’s something about single father romances that grab my heartstrings every single time. Ralph and Ariella’s story was just as beautiful as it is tragic. I found myself shedding a few tears when Ralph opened up about his past situations with Ariella’s mother. I’m not going to lie, there were also other moments in this novel that had me shedding a tear or two. What can I say, my heart is soft and I cry easily these days. That only goes to show how truly invested in this story and these characters I was. Thank god for happily ever afters!

Overall, My heart loved this story so damn much. I loved the connections between Ralph, Candace, and Ariella. I also loved the instant family vibe, it’s just another case where fate is found working her magic once again. I highly recommend Only One Kiss to all those that love single parent romances and/or hockey romances. You aren’t going to want to miss out on this one!

5 Tentage+Boobage ⭐Stars⭐!
A Fabulous story with Laughs, Happiness, So-Cute Moments, Teary Times & lots of swoons!
DEVOURED this story in a few hours😍. I LOVED Ralph, Candace & Baby Ari!

We've Got The Dallas Team here!
When Natasha Posted that she was writing another Hockey Series, I Danced with Glee! This Series is A spin-off From 'This is' Series, We've got Cameos! *Yay*

Ralph is a single dad Whose whole life revolves around his Baby Daughter-Ariella *Aww😍cute!* But he's Clueless about the 'Social media' presence thingy..AND Everyone Recommends him Candace.
Candace is the most sought after Social Media manager. She wasn't the best character In Evan(her bro)'s book (In: This is Crazy) But she'd evolved there & Here, she's amazing! Babies are her Kryptonite (She's so sweet with Her niece Zoey, & baby Ari!)

When The two meet in her house party, they're totally Smitten and Baby Ari stole her heart!
We've Fun before He even Hired her.. His Speechlessness Everytime seeing her, The two's adorable Awkwardness, Hot/Cold BBQ moments😅..Sparks! But..

Candace doesn't Date her Clients. Ralph Doesn't Date, At all.

He's so bad with his Instagram that she finally agrees to help him *Chuckle*

After that There's Baby Cuteness overload, His past pain Share, Hot Chemistry, Banters, Not-so-Accidental kisses *wink* AND a Crazy babysitter *Shudder*.

Candace is The 1st women who makes him want to live, not just survive..Soon Ralph says Fuck all rules & Let's Date.
Their feelings are not(& never) Casual. All in. Her heart can Break..But not doing this is a Unworthy regret. So She agrees, They're gonna date!
~~Yes, it isn't That easy & There's Drama..But I'm not gonna Spoil it!~~

Everything was going great, Days passed..Baby Ari Fun, Practices, Work, Talking, Sexy Times, Love blooming..

Then, A Perfect Dreamy Night Took a turn For Worse.
Anger, Sadness, Leaving, Heart-ache..
He Fucked up Big time. How will he Make it ok? He can't live without Her.. He needs One chance. One chance to Explain, Confess..Will she give it?
He can't lose Her.. She's Everything.

My heart was racing+hurting during these scenes. I was chanting: Stay. Stay. Omg, Make it Right.

Ralph & Candace were so Gloomy.. We've got A *little* Evan intervention!
Ralph Got his 'one chance', and God..He used it well! *Swoon* His biggest secret told, Passionate Declarations, Forgiving.. *Happy Tears* HEA.

The Later Scenes Are all Sweet+Fun! Ralph, Ari, Candace make a cute family❤. I loved the 2 epilogues😍!! Totally Gorgeous!

Only one kiss Started their Journey, which lead to A beautiful Forever.

P.s. Nico (Dallas Team owner) was a great Friend! So helpful..

This story was a great series starter!
Layla & Miller were So fun *Hilarious Banters*, We've got a tease of their story at last! So excited for them😍.

P.p.s. Ralph's Justin's Friend & Candace's Evan's Sis, So we see Both of their families!

Where do I start? I love some of this authors work. Early on the males in this series of hockey stories were funny and sometimes annoying. This guy? He is a basket case! He is apparently the foster child baggage handler, having met his partner/wife Cassie whilst in this situation. Deep in his heart he believes she deliberately gets pregnant. He has survivor guilt - not that he realizes this because apparently being self aware is not the trope of the alpha male.

So he focuses entirely on the mumless daughter feeling bad that she doesn’t have her mum, Cassies photos are throughout the house he purchased for her that he hates, everything is a paradigm. Until he meets Candace. He becomes, tongue tied, stupid, possessive etc just from looking at her. Did I mention stupid?

Meanwhile Candace, a well respected social media genius with so many clients she has a waiting list (ever heard of hiring additional people and expanding your business?). Somehow business 101 evades her while she plans, lists, dresses up, totally focuses on her niece and spends a lot of time warming up her ovaries for a baby or hundred. But still maintains she is a modern woman but just dreams of picket fences, adoring husband, babies, babies did I mention babies?

So she falls in love with this widower and his baby. He falls in love with her...no reason, just she is beautiful, giving, loyal -you know, the perfect Stepford but he really doesn’t want a wife, kids and the entire life that Candace wants - even though they pretty much live it. So a contrived situation occurs where she runs off to the security of the hockey legends, he falls to his knees in his driveway having a broken heart attack and dials 911. Pretty pathetic for the alpha male.

Eventually they decide to talk, well he stalks her until she unwittingly yells “come in” when he rings her bell - this is literal. Anyhoo, they decide they want different things, he storms out (because this is their thing) then Ralph V2 comes back through the door ready to give her everything she wants! Yeah, real life is far from romance novels...seriously it shouldn’t be that far. Surely they should talk a little more? Start dating like normal people and give their relationship time? Then the two epilogues are enough to have your eyes roll into the back of your head!

I’m not saying I won’t read more of this series because Layla and Miller should make for good reading...this couple though? Blah. 🙃

What a book, I am speechless. I started this book and read it in hours. This book was beautifully written and was a story that is a hard one to handle. Ralph is a single father that's dealt a rough deal. Not for being a father but for the circumstances that lead him to where he is and being alone.

We met Candace in Evan's book This Is Crazy and god she was a nasty bitch to Zara. But she is to me a different woman. She has grown and has become a solid in their world. When Ralph and Candace meet its like fate had it all planned out and Ariella completely steals her heart and the book for me. She is such a cute character and the role she plays in this story is just adorable.

You know that this book isn't going to be all plain sailing. These romances never are. But this one, when it goes a little south. I sobbed and sobbed, that call she makes sobbing "I need you" to Evan broke me so so much. And although you no it will be a HEA I couldn't see it at all.

I totally loved this book and with this being book one in this series. Makes me want the next book as soon as possible. This book is huge recommend from me. A great read.

5 Stars!

I've said it before and I'll say it again each time I read a new Natasha Madison book, this chick's got it and I'm crazy glad she started her writing journey. Her words are like a soothing balm to my soul. Her characters are everything in the best (and sometimes worst) ways. She’s just got that IT factor and I hope it never goes away.

Only One Kiss is the first book in her brand new (technically a spin off but still new!) Only One series and y'all, I was here for every single little moment. Single dads are a favorite trope of mine in romance and this beautiful story had everything I love mine to have. Ralph (and his plus one) and Candace were a breath of fresh air. Their journey was a slower burn packed with swoon, heat, steam, and all the feels.

From the blurb alone, I knew this was gonna be angsty perfection in the very best ways but what I got from these two far exceeded those expectations. Ralph and Candace blew onto my kindle in big, big ways and what they gave didn't disappoint for a second.

Run don't walk to grab this beauty and prepare to get devoured by them and their love story.

Oh and seeing familiar faces was just an added perk.. bonus.

I highly recommend this book.

Only One Kiss is All. The. Feels. Right from the start, I fell in love with this story.

It's the story of Ralph, hockey player and single dad with a heartbreaking back story, and Candace the social media guru and lover of children. Neither are necessarily looking for love but there is an attraction that they just can't fight. Whoa, their chemistry had me fanning myself!

In true Natasha Madison style she had me laughing and she had me crying. It is the perfect blend of humor, angst and hot steamy times. Their HEA is perfect and beautiful!

This was a fantastic start to a new series by Natasha Madison. This was an entertaining book with a lot of heartfelt moments, angst and chemistry for days. It will pull on the heartstrings while giving you all the sexy. I loved that Candace was a strong independent woman and not some pushover. Ralph was a sweet doting dad a one minute and a sexy alpha the next. These two just fit together perfectly. The story was well written and all the characters were entertaining.

I look forward to more in this series.

Instant attraction gives hearts a slow burn romance. Madison woos emotions with a sweetness that feels swoon-worthy. Ralph is adorably, clueless when it comes to knowing his heart. With a beautiful baby girl, a steady career and a tragic backstory, he's in need of some TLC. Candace is the happy ending he never thought he'd find. But will the guilt from his past, ruin his chance at the family he's always wanted? Only One Kiss is a heart tingle kind of read. It sneaks up on your blindside and waltzes away with your heart.
