About the author

T.M. Frazier lives in sunny Southwest Florida with her husband and daughter. She dreamed of being a writer since the day she learned how to read. After spending many years working in real estate she decided could no longer ignore that dream.
She published her first book, The Dark Light of Day, in 2013 and has since become a USA Today bestselling author several times over. Her books have been translated into numerous languages and published all around the world.
T.M. enjoys writing what she calls ‘wrong side of the tracks romance’ with morally corrupt anti-heroes and ballsy heroines.
Her books have been described as raw, dark and gritty. Basically, what that means, is while some authors are great at describing a flower as it blooms, T.M. is better at describing it in the final stages of decay.
She loves meeting her readers, but if you see her at an event please don’t pinch her because she's not ready to wake up from this amazing dream.

King or Brantley King – Decided at a young age that working for himself and selling pot amongst other things and being a criminal was better than working for the ‘Man’.
King has just got out of jail. His best friend and roommate decides to throw him a welcome home party, where is runs in to Doe.
I could not put this book down and I have read this series 3 times and I am about to reread in preparation for when ‘Preppy’ comes out.
It’s funny, sweet, Dark, twisted and totally sucks you in
It does end in a cliff-hanger and leaves you yelling WFT and a little bit shocked and angry but that is also part of the reason that I Love IT!!!!
All the credit to this Author. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book captivated me from the beginning it has its ups and downs its twists and turns,
Sometimes you love the characters sometimes you don’t 😂 I always love a great read were you get lost in the pages and in world that is that book.
And lastly I will say there is unanswered questions and a cliffhanger which I can’t wait to find out in book 2
Trigger warning for some people
Taking a wrong turn Doe ends up meeting King, a mistake from her friend leave King saying that Doe is his. Doe has doubt and doesn’t want anything to happen as she feels dishonest to the person that she may have been before and the live she had before. King breaks down all those walls quickly.
King is confused about he’s feelings for Doe and doesn’t know what to do about them. Finally admitting his feelings for Doe, King releases that he loves the two females in his life but one more than the other, although he doesn’t want to he is left with no choice but to choose between the two. King reaches a crossroad, after tragedy, King decides that he needs to make a deal with the devil no matter how much it hurts him.
What happened after that choice is made is you don’t see coming and devastating. Can’t what to see what happens in the next book.
So I didn’t see the recommended reading order prior to reading this one so I’ll finish the duet before going back to the prequel , but this world it’s addictive , it’s dark and twisted it’s enthralling and captivating .
The characters are witty and bad ass and yes there’s violence and trauma and roughness but I loved every minute !
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it definitely won’t be my last !!
Warning ⚠️ there lots of potential triggers in this book - violence / rape/ murder / cheating - not for the faint hearted .
The reason I only gave this story 3 stars was because of the truly awful copy editing, which carries over into the next book too. There were lots of stupid little mistakes that the most basic of word processing programs would pick up with a grammar check. In this particular case I noticed: incorrect use of their, there and they're; mixing up rein, reign and rain; wandering commas and apostrophes; and my pet peeve, use of 'should of': it's 'should HAVE'! There were many others, too.
One thing I will give this author - she didn't over use the word literally like so many others do.
Grammar matters, people. So does correct editing. I don't understand why so many Amazon authors don't seem to make any effort to do any kind of proof-reading of their work. Is it really so difficult to turn on the grammar checking function in your word processing program?
In this instance, as much as I enjoyed reading the first two books, I am hesitant to buy the next book, because I'm really not sure I could cope with yet more poorly edited reading right now. I have returned other books because I couldn't deal with the writing quality.
There is also adult content, drug use, violence, abuse (some scenes are somewhat graphic) and lots of profanity so just a bit of a trigger warning there! But honestly I'm so glad I took a chance and snatched this one up whilst it was free because now King, Preppy and Bear have all of my attention. I can't wait to continue on with this series!
P.S. Everyone needs to meet Preppy and his amazing sense of humor! So thankful T.M gave him his own story!

This book was insane. And it was so above my expectations (and believe me, I had really high expectations for this one). This is a dark romance. A dark romance indeed. It wasnt the cliche bad boy whom the world doesnt get. It wasnt the cliche good girl that needs to be saved at every corner (even though she did need to be saved).
It was so much more than that. It was raw, crude, bare, graphic, explicit. It was sensitive, real, right to the point on some wounds that are exposed and still people dont see.
"But being back on the streets was a captivity of another sort. Freedom meant you have choices. And I still had none"
"Freedom meant you have choices"... That sentence had so much power, so much truth on each letter, not just for the book, but for life in general, socially, for so many ills of society (some of them were shown on this book). And that, among other scenes, showed how strong Doe really was.
Even not remembering anything, she was so sensible, so experienced for the few weeks on the streets. She was a survivor in so many senses of the word. She was a true heroine. Hats off to her.
King was a force of nature. He was moody, he was bad, he was ruthless, restless, implacable. He had his own rules and he was strict to them and to their consequences, no matter how hard they were. He wasnt a bad boy, he was an evil grown man. But he was also loyal (Preppy, Grace, Max and Bear are proof of that), and so intense was his rage, just so intense was his love, even if he didnt know how to manage it.
This book left so many opened wounds and just cant stop scratching them!
King and Doe were amazing to read. There wasn't a dull moment between them (especially if Preppy was around). They got me from the first page and I still didnt digest what I just read!
This book was beyond amazing, and I need to start Tyrant right NOW!

T.M. Frazier's writing was intoxicating, spellbinding, and hypnotic that you couldn't put this book down. It is one of the reads that you had to devour but at the same time savor. The writing and storytelling was just so gripping that Ms. Frazier literally played and toyed with every emotions. She was like a puppet master who had our emotions on strings. And when you thought you were finally getting to that part of the story where you could feel at ease, Ms. Frazier just had to rip and gut your heart out. Yes, it's one of those reads that plucked, pulled, and toyed with every range of emotions. You wanted to shout, cry, hate, love, and scream WHY KING WHY!! I must be a glutton for punishment because I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of this emotional, dark, gritty, cruel and raw read.
If you are looking for a book hero that will open up doors and whisper sweet nothings in your ear, then I'm sorry to disappoint you because KING is none of that. But if you are looking for a hero who acts on his emotions, a total bad ass alpha male hero, a ruthless killer, and who doesn't take s*** from no one, then look no further than KING. King, is a ruthless criminal who recently just got of prison serving for a crime that changed his outlook and purpose in life. There are three things that matters to King... Max, Preppy, and Doe.
Doe is a homeless young girl who has no recollection of her past hence the name "Doe". When she finds herself at one King's house party, she didn't expect a circumstance of events would leave her in bed with a monster. King makes it known she belongs to him. His possession. His to take. Simply, his. But through time her perception of him changes. The man she sees as the devil and monster soon transforms into a man that she needs, wants and craves. A man who gives Doe a reason to be alive.
The relationship of Doe and King is not a kind of relationship that can be described as simple. It is one that is complicated but a tangible bond that can't be described by words alone. It's a bond that is deep, raw, heartfelt, palpable, and gritty. It is the kind of love that can destroy you but at the same time give you a meaning to fight and live for. So with no recollection of her past, Doe leans on King and submits to him fully. The walls that surrounds King's heart are crumbling because Doe is the only one who can make him FALL. She gives him hope. His light in the darkness. But what happens when the truth is finally revealed of Doe's identity, can she truly belong to him?
In all honesty, this book is one of those reads that is on my list of favorite reads of 2015. A book of this magnitude really showcases how resilient, raw, captivating, spell-binding and bewitching Doe, King, Preppy and Bear are in this book. What I love about this story is how T.M. Frazier can grip us with her masterful storytelling. She makes you FEEL and EXPERIENCE every heartbreak, anger, lust, hatred, and sorrow of all her characters. When a book can leave you breathless and in awe, then you know you have read an amazing book. And that was what KING was for me. Ms. Frazier did a phenomenal job interweaving so many raw elements but at the same time gave us a story with so much depth, honesty, grit, and palpable emotions. She was able to elevate this story to another level where you saw that looks can be deceiving and not to judge a character by their appearance. I want to thank Ms. Frazier for introducing readers to a complicated and complex hero that has stole my heart. So if you are looking for a book where you are taken down a dark, raw journey that has possibility of a luminous and hopeful ending then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to read KING.
~Michelle of Four Chicks Flipping Pages

The emotional level, the physical...everything about these books is absolutly
intens and even with the way of all this swearing, tonns of awful language....
but in my oppinion it just needed to be this way...so you could feel everything..
and boy !!! you will feel everything right to your bones. Bad and good...Perfect !
I would give it even more then 5 stars and after the first book "King" I had to read the second one
"Tyrant" as well. Awesome, both of them. Tyrant picks up right where King ended.
Both books are raw and so intense, emotionally...at points it rips out your heart, but in the same way
your heart will swell to the point of bursting. Feeling overload and when the really bad s*** is happening...
well let me put it this way...it just blew my f***** mind away.
Doe and King ... two totally different persons ...but in the end not so different at all...
AND PREPPY :) he is such a sick guy and the most loyal friend and a wonderful character
in this story. He was just right for this story.
So in total, I really loved these two books, they are different, rip through your heart and
pice it back together.
If you don't mind, very strong abuse, total dirty language and absolutly intense, raw and hot as hell
sex scence...and you are able to look behind all this....then my dear you will enjoy two awesome books !
