Although this book felt a tad bit too cheesy for me, it still made me smile in all the right moments, tug at my heartstrings in heartfelt moments, made me tear up in the painful moments… and really just maybe believe in love again. A love that’s for me.

Once Upon a Kiss, by newcomer Carina Rose, had me from the first page. This is a sweet and beautifully told romance about finding your happily ever after when you least expect it. Her debut novel and Carina Rose knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to see what she brings us next.

This one question asked will make you forget what you were about to do in your everyday life!
When I read that question, I knew ohhh this is going to be a good story! What I didn’t expect was for this book to be beyond great! I LOVE everything about this book!
It gave me all the feels! I fell in love with Drew! And I have a slight crush on Lacey!
I love that Lacey is a strong woman! She knows what she wants and just goes for it. Drew is the man who we imagine sitting there with the baseball hat on backwards making us drool all over him! He’s a great man who just has it all going on!
The storyline is a Romance Filled book! Sometimes a book comes along and just captivates you. And as you read and get engross in the story you don’t realize the hot and sexy scenes aren’t there but what are, are scenes that leave it to your imagination. The behind the door scenes sure left my imagination run wild to how Drew was with Lacey. I loved it! In my mind, he’s one hot man between the sheets!!

OMG!!!! This book pulled me in and hooked me right from the start! I absolutely loved Lacey and Drew and could not get enough of them. Lacey is away on her birthday vacation when she runs into her ex. Not wanting to look like she was alone she approached Drew in hopes that he could stand in as her fake boyfriend. What starts out as pretend soon starts to feel very real when the pull Lacey and Drew feel towards each other can't be denied. The problem is that Lacey has been hurt before and doesn't think she believes in happily ever after anymore. Can Drew break down her walls and prove that he is different than her no good ex? You will want to 1 click this book ASAP to find out! I promise you, you won't be disappointed!

This is such a sweet read. I didn't realise it was a debut book. You're for sure going to be so jealous of Lacey and Drew's story. It started off as a fake relationship that turned into something more. It was so much fun to read their love journey. I loved their characters, absolutely well-written. Lacey is one strong and independent woman, that's what I loved about her. And Drew is a swoon-worthy guy. Their chemistry was off the charts!

This is quite possibly one of the sweetest, most romantic love stories I have ever read. For those of you looking for a clean romance, this is it. It is an Insta-love, clean, sweet romance that will have you chuckling, swooning, and crying happy tears. It is so beautifully written. There are so many incredible characters. I absolutely enjoyed this book.

Once Upon a Kiss is the utterly charming debut from Carina Rose. A story that is heartwarming and sweet, I do believe I had a smile on my face from start to finish. The unexpected romance between Lacey Winters and Drew Mitchell gives hope to those with broken hearts that as much as you may be hurting and may not believe in fate, it somehow manages to sneak in and cause love to bloom. With a tropical backdrop, these two enjoyed their 'fake' dating a bit too much and I could feel Lacey and Drew falling hard for the other with each turn of the page.
This book is a slow-burn kind of romance but both characters are smart, talented, and addictive and their late-night conversations and flirty banter made their inevitable HEA truly worth the wait. I loved that the author didn't have to use a slew of sex scenes to show how wonderful it is to fall for someone. That just through being together and exploring one another's mind can be the greatest kind of foreplay to what it to come.
Although Drew had a hard time convincing Lacey that what they had was real and that they could make it work long-distance, I never gave up hope that these two souls belonged together. Which goes to show you that sometimes all you need is a bit of chance, two encouraging besties, a stupid ex and a beautiful smile from the person who simply completes you. And to think it all started with a kiss.

Once Upon a Kiss is a sweet, 100% happily ever after book.
After breaking up with her ex boyfriend, Lacey decides to go on the bday trip she planned while with him. Low and behold, he decided to show up on her vacation with his current girl. In a split second decision, she makes one move that changes the course of her vacation and life.
Drew is on his yearly vacation at his friend's family's resort and his eyes a spot the most Beautiful woman he has ever seen. Just when he is about to make his move on Lacey, she beats him to the punch.
They start their fake romance but that only last for a short period of time because the sparks are immediate. Feelings developed quickly with these two love birds.
Drew is perfection. He is sweet, caring, handsome and will do anything for the ones he loves. Lacey, ugh Lacey got on my nerves quite a bit in this book. I normally want to reach inside books and slap some sense into the male characters but Lacey had me feeling this way. She was very immature in a lot of relationship aspects. Like, WAKE UP GIRL!!! You have a man putting you on a pedestal, treating you like gold, know your worth already. For a while I thought Drew was just too mature for Lacey. Thank goodness she got her act together!
This is a debut book from this author and I really did enjoy it. I am looking forward to more. I believe we are getting Ethans book next. I am excited and ready for it!

She has brought back Romance to the world of books. I felt like a teenager again reading the sweet words of Once Upon a Kiss. It's focus being on the emotional and heart issues of a relationship.
Lacey has decided this tropical vacation was the chance she needed to rest and regroup after her love life had taken a turn for the worse when she caught her EX cheating on her. A vacation in the tropics would give her the time she needed to prepare for hopefully what would be the big break in her career.
Nothing prepared her for running into her EX at the very same resort so she grabbed the next best thing - a fake boyfriend.
Drew happened to be there at the right place/wrong place and Lacey grabbed onto him for what was to become a life altering kiss.

‘Once Upon a Kiss’ by Carina Rose is a down right adorable story; just what I needed! This is a definite 5 Star book! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lacey is determined to enjoy her Caribbean birthday trip; the trip she was supposed to take with her now ex-boyfriend, until she walked in on him cheating on her. So, when Lacey spots her ex-boyfriend at the resort with the woman he was cheating with, she just about looses it. Lacey makes a bold decision to approach Drew, a very handsome, single stranger, and kisses him with her ex staring right at them. Drew agrees to play along as her ‘boyfriend’, making Lacey’s ex jealous and bringing excitement to her birthday trip.
Drew and Lacey were never supposed to get serious, but when it’s time to go home to reality, they both realize that very real feelings had developed. This is the point where the story gets even better and I couldn’t put it down.
What starts out as a chance encounter, leads to an epic love story. ‘Once Upon a Kiss’ has a very sweet and believable plot, lovable main characters, and is very well written. I definitely recommend reading this book, as I thoroughly enjoyed reading it myself!

Carina Rose gives us a debut book that is as sweet as sugar! This book is full of everything you love in a clean romance. I didn’t want to put it down.
Lacey Winters is taking her birthday trip all alone since she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. Once she sets foot in the Caribbean, a lot of her worries fade away until she finds her ex boyfriend and the woman she found him cheating with at the same resort. Having had enough Lacey kisses a stranger and what follows after that first kiss is a beautiful story of love at first kiss. These two spend a week together but know that it won’t be enough. But Drew will move heaven and earth to be with her.
Such a refreshing romance that makes your heart swell and swoon. These two find a love like everyone wishes they do. I hope we find out if Ethan gets his happily ever after.

Once Upon A Kiss is a sweet, clean, instalove story that will warm your heart. After being dumped by her boyfriend, Lacey decides to go on the tropical vacation they'd had planned anyway. Her heartbreak is magnified when her ex arrives at the same resort with his new girlfriend. Seeing a cute guy across the way, Lacey makes an out-of-character decision to save face in front of her ex... Meanwhile, Drew is on his family's annual vacation when he spies Lacey across the way. Before he can make a move, she strikes first by approaching him. Good guy Drew plays along with Lacey needing a fake boyfriend, but both of them catch feelings really quickly in this instalove story.
There's not a lot of drama in Once Upon A Kiss, but a lot of heart and swoon-worthy moments. This was a solid debut romance from Carina Rose, and I look forward to seeing what she writes next! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

This book brought me back to my first love of contemporary romances that I have missed reading in a long time.
Lacey's adventures on her vacation was so refreshing to read.
I loved how the unexpected happens for her when she meets Drew who I would to want to play my fake boyfriend too especially they way they first interacted. My cherries were bursting with excitement on seeing where this story would go.
I liked how Author Carina Rose sucks you into the world of Lacey & Drew.
I felt & wished I was on the tropical island, sipping my cocktail on my beach lounger seeing their story unfold in front of me.
This story is heart warming, funny, loving and gives you all the feels of falling in love when you least expect it.

Once Upon a Kiss is the utterly charming debut from Carina Rose. A story that is heartwarming and sweet, I do believe I had a smile on my face from start to finish. The unexpected romance between Lacey Winters and Drew Mitchell gives hope to those with broken hearts that as much as you may be hurting and may not believe in fate, it somehow manages to sneak in and cause love to bloom. With a tropical backdrop, these two enjoyed their 'fake' dating a bit too much and I could feel Lacey and Drew falling hard for the other with each turn of the page.
This book is a slow-burn kind of romance but both characters are smart, talented, and addictive and their late-night conversations and flirty banter made their inevitable HEA truly worth the wait. I loved that the author didn't have to use a slew of sex scenes to show how wonderful it is to fall for someone. That just through being together and exploring one another's mind can be the greatest kind of foreplay to what it to come.
Although Drew had a hard time convincing Lacey that what they had was real and that they could make it work long-distance, I never gave up hope that these two souls belonged together. Which goes to show you that sometimes all you need is a bit of chance, two encouraging besties, a stupid ex and a beautiful smile from the person who simply completes you. And to think it all started with a kiss.

Drew and Lacey meet in an unconventional way but their attraction to one another can’t be denied. Will they explore what’s between them or will Drew remain her “fake” boyfriend? And will Lacey open herself up to a relationship after being hurt?
This book was really a lot of fun! I loved the writing, the characters, and the setting! I really felt like I was on the island with them and now I want to go on vacation! I fell in love with the plot as well.
This book has no sex. And guess what? It totally works. Carina proves you don’t need it to have a great story. You still get plenty of romance without it.
A story that made me happy, I totally recommend it!

ONCE UPON A KISS by Carina Rose. What a truly romantic tale! This is a sweet romance that had me swooning. I adored both Lacey and Drew - they were incredible together. Ms. Rose does a phenomenal job of making the reader feel throughout the entire story. Everything about this tale was easy to read and fun to follow. Lacey is a strong and independent woman, although, to be honest, once or twice I did feel the need to shake her a bit! But, she comes around. She meets Drew, who is pretty much the epitome of drool worthy. Their chemistry was off the charts and the story was just a joy to read. (received ARC for honest review)

Let's start off by saying this is a first-time author for us and our first read by them was super sweet.
I have to say this was a cute and fun read with likable characters. Lacy and Drew meet on a tropical island where Lacy decided to take her vacation that was meant for herself and her ex to celebrate her birthday but, the idiot follows her with his new girlfriend. Shocking right? Typical douche bag...
Drew and Lacy's introduction was an unusual one but, one that was an impressionable one at least for Drew. Although this couple's courtship was an unusual one this couple just clicked, and they had amazing chemistry and both had a heart of gold.
Overall I enjoyed the story about finding love when you weren't even looking. If you are looking for a lot of hotness this isn't that kind of read but, the connection between these two characters was undeniably sweet. The ending of the story was just perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Oh how I love a fake romance that turns into so much more. Lacey Winters and Drew Mitchell just happen to be in the right place at the most wonderful time. Lacey is getting out of the city and on her way to a much more warm and tropical location when her getaway is hijacked by the arrival of her cheating ex and his new flavor. Drew is just looking for some R&R with his family when he literally finds a gal in need of a quick fake boyfriend. This may have started out as a rue but they soon discover that it can and may be so much more. This is a sweet, romantic ride with Lacey and Drew!

I absolutely loved this story. A story full of love, romance, heartbreak, surprise and some humour. Such a really easy read, I didn’t want to leave it down. Absolutely loved the connection between Lacey and Drew! Meeting by chance on holiday, after Lacey’s heartbreak she didn’t think she would be interested in another man until she met Drew. The story spiralled from there. Would love to see more books about other characters in this story.

Sigh... love, simple happiness , pure romance .
This was so enjoyable you have such a warm feeling while reading . It’s a feel good story. This makes you happy. It’s a sad start for our heroine Lacey , Drew is the answer . Don’t despair fate has other plans for her . Sometimes it’s true what’s meant to be, will be and it can be everything . Just getting there can be challenging .

Carina Rose is a new author to me but one I certainly won’t forget any time soon. I am riding my own high from finishing this book. The writing style is so rare! There are few authors that have me hanging on every word. But, there are even fewer authors that make me believe I am actually living in every word! I can't say enough wonderful things about this book. Wow! JUST WOW!!! I know that once you start reading this book you won't want to stop!

This must be one of the sweetest stories I ever read..I loved it right from the start and I was rooting for Lacey and Drew!!!
I need to say it..where are men like Drew?! Where can I find one? The man is so amazing, sweet, caring, protective and loves kids..he is swoon worthy.
I admire Lacey for taking a chance after that ex of hers..she is also determined in her workplace.

Alright, let’s face it, facts, we all need a Drew! His swoon worthy, genuine love for Lacey was so powerful and great that it was a fairy tale and who doesn’t love a fairy tale? I loved how they met, and he insisted on showing her how not so fake their relationship turned. Screw Kevin. He never had a chance. It pissed me off when she went to see him for closure, but love the ending. Well, written, sweet romance that you won’t want to put down. You’ll want to know what Drew does next to win her heart even more!
