About this ebook

A Hollywood princess mixing business and pleasure with my hot bodyguard is a headline I’ll gladly live up to.

After a messy breakup, I promised myself—no more dating.

Then my new bodyguard walks in.

He’s nothing like the men in my world.

He’s rugged and real.

But I’m only a job to him.

But the longer we’re forced together, the harder it gets to fight our feelings.

He starts seeing the real me—not the woman plastered all over the tabloids.

So, I make him an offer: a no strings attached relationship that will end as soon as his job is over.

I just wasn’t prepared for him to know my secrets, to fall in love with him, and how hard it’d be when it was time to say goodbye.

Hot bodyguard/starlet romance Hudson is doing his brother a favor by filling in for him as bodyguard to Stella, a TV starlet hoping to move into movies. His original opinion of her as a spoiled Hollywood princess is quickly amended, but any possible relationship between them is immediately complicated by her contractual obligation to pretend to be in a relationship with her co-star from the movie she's currently promoting. As their friendship moves into FWB, the complications get pretty messy, and so do the attitudes. Hudson's unyielding derision of her career decisions is at odds with his decision to pursue a relationship with her, making him come off as overbearing and unreasonable. It's not as though he didn't know what he was getting into from the beginning. As a finished book, this one had so many grammar mistakes, continuity issues, and extra words that it clearly demanded an editor or at the very least a proofreader. Overall, the story is good and the characters are memorable. The set-up for the next book was intriguing.

I am really liking this author. Overall the book was a great unique read. H and H had amazing chemistry. The story was believablish, and there was just the right amount of angst. The author could be a little more cognizant of time-frames though....
