LIAM

I've spent years turning my life around.

Burying my demons in one night stands and my work as the CEO of Morgan Securities.

My routine worked for me until I met her—a temptation dressed in red.

I walked away at first, but as luck would have it, she was hired as my company’s interior designer.

Soon she became an addiction I couldn’t escape.

What I didn’t know is she had a secret that would change everything.

One that turned into everything I ever wanted.

But sometimes when life hands you lemons, they go sour.

No matter how hard I try to fight it, my old demons would come back to haunt me in the most unexpected ways.

Holly and my son are my salvation, and I want nothing more than to be all in with them.

No matter what.

Oh My Gosh!! This book Y’all! Freakin Fantastic! It is just an amazing office/secret baby/one-night stand that later kind of becomes a second chance romance/single parent romance. The office part added a bit of a forbidden aspect to it. Yummy! So Flippin Awesome!! Liam (he’ll always be Levi to me) Holly, and little Matty’s story will turn even the most cynical of hearts into a gooey mess.

Let’s start with Holly. What an amazing Gal, Y’all! She is spunky and beautiful. She has always been the responsible one. One reckless night she throws caution to the wind. A few drinks, one spontaneous encounter, one lasting consequence equals two pink lines. Thought that night changed everything for her.

“This isn’t me. I have never been the girl who throws caution to the wind. I’m not reckless and I don’t do things on a whim. I, Holly Jenkins, do NOT have one night stands.”

She wouldn't change for the world, her precious little boy Matty was the result. He is the cutest, most bashful little guy. Although she unexpectedly became pregnant with him she settles into life as a single mom, she has supportive parents and an amazing best friend, Terry. She had pretty much accepted that she would never run into the man that fathered her son again, until she arrives for her new job as an interior decorator for Morgan Securities, and sees a face she is all too familiar with.

“Why couldn't we just cross paths at an Applebee’s?”

Her new boss, Liam Morgan, is the one reckless, one night stand she had that resulted in her son!! Dropping the “Congratulations you're a Daddy” bomb on Liam, is probably the easiest part of the journey to HEA that Liam and Holly must endure.

Liam Morgan is just so sexy and fine and comes off a bit bad and standoffish at times. He’s unapologetic in what he wants in a woman and no one has been able to change that...Until he meets Holly. Something about her calls to him, even though there are parts of him that are broken and flawed he still wants a chance with her. Given everything these two have been through you can help but to see they are inevitable. Now that's not saying their journey is easy, it's anything but. I mean HE has NOT had an easy time over the last few years. Giving in to addictions and reckless behaviors, he has been constantly working hard to overcome his demons. Constantly fighting the urge not to replace one addiction with another,

I don’t want to give any spoilers away. I will just say it was fantastic. When he finds out he is a dad, it is obviously a shock, but all the emotions, how he embraces it. He runs the gamut of feelings and it's so believable. The way he was with Matty. OMG! Holy Don’t Forget To Take Your Birth Control Ladies! Holly never stood a chance, and neither did I. I laughed, cried, and I fanned myself and I swooned. It was sexy and sweet and everything in between. It was just enough naughty and the perfect amount of nice. IT.WAS.EVERYTHING!

“I wish I knew where this girl has been all my life to have given myself to her sooner.”
This book has moments that will have you going WTF is happening?! Told in dual POV, which is my absolute FAVORITE It will have you panting, swooning and fanning yourself one minute as you get caught up in their sweet and romantic whirlwind almost insta-love like romance.

I’m not gonna lie to you my dear friends, be ready to chuck your beloved kindle right across the room at various points throughout this story ( don’t worry no actual kindles were harmed during the reading of this story. I just wanted to shout NAUGHTY WORDS from the rooftops) and I may or may not have texted Erica and had to vent!!

Prepare yourself my friends... you won't want to stop until you’ve devoured every single syllable of this great story. Holly, Liam, sweet Matty, Sam,Terry, River and even Jax. All the amazing secondary characters. I love them all. I absolutely can’t wait for more from this crew.

My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!

I have to say that this is my first book by Erica Marselas, but certainly won’t be the last. I finished the book in one sitting, and I really want to write so many things, yet I cannot find the right words. Captivating, all-consuming, insanely hot and way unpredictable…a stunning story that left me speechless and wanting for more.

Liam was the perfect hero, burdened by his own demons, broken in some ways, the dark knight, wicked and attractive at the same time, with a heart bigger than his ego and with enough love and courage to be able to match the most famous heroes of world fiction. He on the abyss, and she his hand for salvation.

Holly, the gentle and strong Red, brave enough to reach for what she wants and fight for her happiness no matter what.

He and she together, a living fire that burns instantly from the first moment. With an incredible connection, a raging passion, they slowly write the pages of their sweet love story. A story where the past and the present are intertwined, darkness and light, pain and hope for a better future.

Betrayals and secrets surround both of them. Selfishness that rises and tries to cover everything else, and selflessness that goes beyond the imaginable. Will they sink or will they rise above and thrive after all the secrets are revealed? Will love be enough to heal wounds, bury the past, and overcome all that madness?

This is more than a simple love story, much more than a second opportunity romance… It traverses topics such as love, family, loyalty, deceptions, betrayal, envy….so many tiny pieces, so skillfully intertwined that make this book absolutely amazing. To say that this author has a gift with words is simply an understatement. When I started reading the first chapters, I thought that this was one more sweet, slow paced, and second opportunity romance…one among so many others, no angst, no drama…. I honestly didn’t see the thunderbolt coming. I literally had to re-read that part and I was like…Holy Smokes, really????

Definitely, All in is one of the best stories I have read this year, so beautifully written, with great insights, powerful exchanges and seamless dual narrative. I honestly didn’t want it to end, and simply cannot find the suitable words to recommend this book highly enough.

Book 2 in the Keep Breathing series and can be read as a standalone. Loved Holly and Liam. The chemistry and attraction between them was so good. It was so hot and intense. They have a history between them that was both heartbreaking and heartwarming to experience. They spent one night together 3 years ago that will change them both in good and bad ways. Love their story so much. Erica has a way of creating characters and worlds that feel so real. You get engrossed in the story that you are reading and that is what happened to me. I was pulled in from page one and I didn’t want it to end. Love her work and can’t wait to read what she has coming next.

Erica Marselas always charms with her contemporary romances! Our story centers on Liam Morgan of Morgan Securities- a man who has worked hard to conquer his demons, who has learned to channel his pain and frustrations in less destructive ways. But we soon learn he’s traded one addiction for another- now coping through strings of one night stands. His womanizing ways soon get him in some trouble, just about the time he meets a tempting woman in red. Only, turns out they’ve met before- in a steamy one stand that resulted in a darling 2 year old he didn’t know he had. His Red, Holly, didn’t know the mysterious man who gave her the greatest part of her life would be her new boss. Now they not only have to navigate their own romantic history in a professional setting but also have to figure out how to integrate Liam into little Matty’s world. But does Liam want to be All In with Holly?

Even though fate keeps thrusting these two together, this second chance, secret baby romance is NOT an easy road for them. Liam has so many demons, and has been burned, so he’s so hot and cold with poor Holly- who just wants to do her job and to give her son the father she never thought he’d have. Their attraction is explosive and they have sizzling chemistry, but their emotional connection is more tumultuous. Liam doesn’t trust easily, and Holly can’t be risky with her job and her son. I loved watching these two try to figure things out- it was refreshing to see a couple behave as adults and try to be responsible for a child, to co-parent. The romantic side of their relationship clicked really easily, a bit of instalove. I wanted Holly to make Liam work more for it after he’s a jerk, but Liam seemed so fragile in places, and Holly is so nurturing, I get why she was so hopeful and patient. This keeps the drama lower despite the dramatic context of their relationship. The relationship that squeezed my heart the most, though, was sweet Matty and Liam. Watching this broken man open his heart to this little boy, and seeing the shy and reluctant Matty trust his new dad so easily. UGH- ovary explosion.

Holly is the most PATIENT, laid back, and generous heroine I’ve ever read. Both in the past and the present, she gracefully and kindly handles whatever comes her way. From allowing Liam to be part of Matty’s life to accepting parts of Liam’s past to even handling the jaw dropping drama that happens in the future once she reconnects with him- WOAH. She has the patience of a saint. Nothing phased her or caused her to dramatically react. There were moments when she would have been totally justified, but she handled everything with such maturity. And while Liam was a womanizer and cold in places, I immediately felt and appreciated his heart. He’s just had to battle so much of himself, and most of the emotional and personal obstacles in both the past and present in this story were his issues, so he had more to overcome, and thus he also grew more as a character.

Erica is a super engaging writer- this book is a quick and captivating read, and the chemistry and steam are delicious. But, what I loved most is how Erica plays with the trope. We have some unexpected twists and turns, which not only keep us on our toes but also give more unique opportunities to challenge these characters, all while giving a well-loved trope a new spin. All in all, a fun and feel good read- a bit of drama, a lot of steam, fun banter, and an adorable baby-daddy bond? What more could you ask for!

Review by Jen Skewes

I instantly became a fan of Erica Marseles’ after reading Barely Breathing, the first book in this series. I thought that book gave me all the feels and toyed with my emotions, but she took All In, to another level. A one-night stand turned into a secret baby is a story that I love, but this book is so much more than that. It is filled with angst, betrayal and drama

Liam is the CEO of his family’s business and while he has turned this company around he still feels like he needs to prove himself. He’s trying to turn his life around, by throwing himself into work. Despite his recovery and how well he is doing with the company, he is still fighting his past demons daily. He was hurt in the past and that has prevented him from not only having a relationship but also being able to trust people. So, for him countless one-night stands will do just fine.

He meets Holly outside a bar one night but refuses her offer to go inside and have a drink. No matter how attracted he is to her, or how much he can feel the chemistry. Walking into that bar is the wrong move so he walks away. But they meet again, when Holly is recommended to Liam as a new designer for his company’s offices. He hasn’t stopped thinking about her since that night, but then she drops a bomb on him and completely turns his world upside down. Holly has a son, and you guessed it!! Liam is the father. Shock is an understatement when it comes to his reactions. But he cannot deny the instant connection that he feels not only with his son but with Holly as well. Maybe Liam finally has what he has wanted but just never knew. Will they become this happy family, or will something get in the way?

Liam is this hero that is damaged from his past demons, and I always love a damaged hero. He is hot and sexy but has a huge heart. And his relationship with his son Matty was everything!!
I think Matty and Holly coming into his life healed him in a way. Don’t get me wrong, he was still broken, still has his issues, but the two of them in his life made him happy in a way that he has not been in a long time. I loved everything about him.

Holly is one of the most loveable heroines. She is beautiful, smart, kind, strong and her determination to fight for what she wants will make you love her. The way she handled things with Liam, and everything else that was thrown their way, just proved how amazing this woman was.

Liam and Holly were so good together. Oh, the things it did to me when he called her Red. That man was sex on a stick!! He also managed to completely melt my heart with how sweet he was with Matty. And that little boy stole the show. I was rooting for this damaged soul and this sweet woman and her son to find so much happiness. All In sucked me in from the beginning. It was hot, sweet, and sexy all wrapped up on one. It will break your heart and make it a big pile of goo at the same time. It is filled with enough angst, drama, betrayal and lies to keep you on the edge of your seat, and your heart in your throat. There’s a character or two that I was not a fan of at all and wanted to throw my iPhone at some point because of said person. But every emotion was so worth the ride!! All In was riveting, flawlessly written and one of those books that went it was over I wanted to go back and read it all over again. Major book hangover!!!

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK ALL IN.

It is my first read from this author but man...was I living under a rock so as to never encounter her books.
This book was everything....I ever want in a Romance novel...so much drama and characters to be envied upon by other books.
*
An overload of hotness which will just burst your kindle into ashes...
A hero who has worked hard overcoming his demons but still screws up sometime.
A heroine who is a responsible, all work no play type, yet one night she threw caution to the wind and ended up with a consequence for her whole life.

I love me some suprise baby romance...there is *always some angst, secrets, betrayal, heart warming union...but this book was a step ahead *for all that...
A perfection from the start to the end.

As this was my first read from her...I was not at all prepared to blown away by the book...but this type of suprises are always welcome...

I won't say much about the story because every word here can be a spoiler for you...
Suspense in the end was to die for...
Nothing was constant in the book but the chemistry and attraction between Holly and Liam was always there...

No matter the past...when he knew there was an existence of his part in the world...he was ALL IN.

No review would be completed without talking about our sweet little Mattty...he was cutest and very shy. HE WAS ADORABLE And although he was a must to the storyline, he made the book so much more interesting and fun to read.

What a story!! Liam and Holly met years before shared a night and never saw each other again until 3 years later. Liam couldn’t quite remember her but felt drawn to her. She had a secret of her own and surprise Liam was all in after some clarification. But there was a shocking surprise and twist to this story that made you hold your head and wonder what in the world and what’s going to happen next. Things weren’t quite the same between Liam and a particular person but things were solid between him and Holly. There was no breaking them up.

description

Liam Morgan works for his father in Morgan Securities’ Florida’s office. He has been trained for this since he was born with his brother. He has the “please-the-father” complex, thus pushes himself harder, most especially with his troubled past. He has a twin brother, Landon, who manages their California office. Liam meets Holly at a comic convention and has a one-night stand with her. Three years later, Liam hires Holly to decorate his office, and things became complicated as he learns what happened after that fateful one night.

Holly Jenkins works hard as an interior designer and is the ever-dependable friend. As she excuses herself from work and saves her friend from being stranded at a comic convention, she led to meet Liam and have a one-night hook-up. This hook up turned Holly’s world upside-down. This event led her to shift from a career woman into becoming a single parent, with no way of letting her caped superhero costume know all of this until three years later and in an unexpected position.
Holly Jenkins do NOT have one night stands, especially not with total strangers I meet at the bar.
– Holly, All In

A chance opportunity brought the two of them together, which is even more potent than the first time they laid eyes on each other. This time, they have a lot more at stake as there are a lot of different forces at work that wants them apart and, in the process, break a little boy’s heart.

The author ensured that readers would not get lost even if one comes into this book as a first time read. Characters from Book 1 have sufficient backgrounds to show their relationship with Liam and Holly. The POV is from both Holly and Liam, which I enjoy – no second-guessing and confusion.

I appreciate “honest characters” from the start. Holly did not hide the fact that she and Liam met early on or gave birth to Matty. She does not second guess her purpose as a career woman and a mother. Holly shared some “truths” to Liam, but the rest of her truths, even I wouldn’t know how to breach the subject on someone who doesn’t even remember anything. I feel for her dilemma, and Holly wants to do right on what happened.

Liam’s past has sad and dark. He would be high or livid not to feel or remember anything the next day. I can understand his apprehension when it came to accepting Holly and Matty, his son, immediately when he couldn’t recall meeting Holly. There was “something about her” that he could not shake off, which is a good sign, and there were more serendipitous moments that tell us that they are for each other.
When she called me family, my first instinct was to bolt. Everyone in my family has let me known, but after spending only a week with her and Matty, they are the closest thing to family I have.
– Liam, All In

This book would not be rank high on my list without conflicts outside of Liam and Holly’s control. There were a lot and coming from all angles in the book. On top of this, they are well-thought that merged well with the story but still BLOWS YOUR MIND!

Although Holly’s side seems to be warming up to Liam coming into Matty’s life, the same wasn’t the case for Liam’s family. They threw harsh words and trouble because of Holly and Matty’s sudden appearance. It’s sad since it is familiar with well-off families. With his family on him and his “demons” catching up, Liam is in a dire situation of losing Holly and Matty. In the end, he will have to decide – to defend his new family against the rest of his world.

Holly hesitated to immediately accept Liam, even if he was very vocal of his commitment to them. She was thinking more as a mother, wanting to keep a stable environment for Matty. Liam had also admitted before that he couldn’t see himself in a relationship, what more for a father’s role?
I’ll go slow, but I can’t promise I won’t make it absolutely torturous for her, in hopes she crumbles to my persuasion.
– Liam, All In

The above is not all – an even bigger revelation/confession sprung up outside Liam and Holly’s bubble that throws the whole story off the kilter! My jaw dropped as I read it out, wherein things are NOT what they seem from the start. I am still amazed that authors can get me this shocked.

Readers – brace yourselves for this part. I am still reeling from it as I write this review, even when I know both Liam and Holly made it work.

On the other side, there is some light, humorous banter injected from Liam and Holly’s friends, namely Jax, River, and Sam from Book 1. They all add great comic relief from the emotional turmoil between Liam and Holly. They were also critical in getting Holly and Liam together, keeping Liam calm and rational. Terry, Holly’s friend, is a fierce friend and aunt to her son, Matty.

The in-between moments of Liam getting to know Matty is one of the cutest ones I can remember, like having a child be on top of his shoulders as they walk around a zoo?! Precious! Liam is a natural with Matty, and he does it with natural ease.

In the end, the author rounded out the loose ends of the story and tied up a lot of the problems above. It was a rough read since I was frustrated with Liam’s family members’ actions that impacted Holly and Matty. It was selfish but necessary twists to ensure that Holly and Liam’s connection comes out stronger to overcome the biggest hurdle in their lives.

I loved the book! Things had their way of resolving themselves when Liam and Holly focused on themselves versus listening to the rest of the world. If they met earlier, I don’t think they would handle things, and they did a few years in the story. They have matured immensely and have taken over the story to be stronger and braver individuals to be parents to Matty and partners to each other.

I am excited about whose story the author will be telling in the next book, and it gives us a big hint in the end. It got me uber excited!

All In (Keep Breathing #2) by Erica Marselas
4 stars
M/F Romance
Triggers: Addiction
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Liam is known for being unattached. He loves his life, but had to work very hard to get where he is. With a family that is less than supportive, but friends who would lay down their lives for him, Liam knows how lucky he truly is. His company is doing well and even though his dad doesn't have very much faith in him, Liam knows that he took a company that was on the brink of bankrupcy and turned it in to the profitable company it is today.

Holly knows that her life isn't what she planned. But, she wouldn't change anything in her life for anything. She has supportive parents, a great best friend and has a great 4 year old son. Also, now that her career can take off, she's excited to be working on fun, large projects. When her good friend recommends her for a job, the last person she expects to see if Liam.

As Holly and Liam navigate their working relationship, their personal relationship has several ups and downs. This storyw as a test in patience. I wanted Liam's family to grow up - yes, all of them. And, I wanted his brother to suffer. I know, I know, family isn't chosen. But, in Liam's case, he can choose people he wants to be around.

I am very much looking forward to the next book, but hope that we get more closure about Liam's family and especially his brother's issues. It felt a little incomplete.

All in is how you will feel after reading Chapter one of Erica Marselas' latest contribution in the Keep breathing series. Note this can be read as a standalone.

In Liam, Erica introduces to one of her most complex characters to date, a man who struggles, fails, and has to rebuild himself and the lives he's impacted around him. Holly is the perfect counterpoint, strong, kind, and loving by nature, she also runs into a monumental challenge that changes her forever.

Without giving away anything, their journey will leave you breathless. Filled with emotional ups and downs, surprises you won't see coming, and one of the cutest kids you'll ever encounter, All in delivers in every chapter.

Grab this wonderful find and jump all in with both feet.

This isn’t me. I have never been the girl who throws caution to the wind.

I’m not reckless and I don’t do things on a whim.

Fighting a losing battle with everything in her life and after her friend leaves her hanging, straight-laced Holly Jenkins thinks ‘what the hell’ and heads to the bar coming face to face with Thor! (Okay, so, it’s a very handsome man in a costume, let's not split hairs here).

After a few shots of tequila, ‘Thor’ sweeps Holly off her feet and he’s determined to show Holly how hard he can slam his hammer.

“I know I’m a stranger...but I promise I don’t bite.”

Fast forward 3 years and it seems ‘Thor’ left more than a few bite marks on Holly, as Holly’s world now revolves around her adorable two year old Matty. Holly has also started her own interior design company and her new client could be about to change everything once again.

One chance meeting and now her new boss, Holly is shocked to the core when she meets the man under the cape, as Thor turns out to be Liam Morgan, CEO of Morgan Securities! Holly doesn’t want anything from Liam other than to tell him about Matty, the question is...how do you tell your sexy, charming boss that’s also not shy in showing his feelings towards you, that he’s a daddy?

We’ve been dating, but this is...more...this is everything.

After the bomb is dropped, can Holly breathe and allow herself to be truly happy believing that everything has come full circle with her superhero.

Or

Is Liam really just playing dress-up at being a superhero?

I need her. Need to feel every inch of her. She’s a balm. My latest addiction, one I don’t mind getting addicted to. She is an addiction that can heal me.

Not every battle is physical and sometimes those demons hunt your every waking thought until there is nothing left. The painful memories have you clutching onto anything to kill the void that eats you up inside.

Liam Morgan is walking on the straight and narrow and throwing everything into his successful business. Then Holly enters his life and knocks him to the ground with Matty...his son.

Clicking instantly with Matty, Liam falls into the super daddy role and knows he is falling deeply for Holly too. They are his shining hope now, filling in the damage holes within his life Liam is starting to dream and with Holly feeding into his strength, Liam knows that he can outrun his demons.

But how will our superhero cope when everything starts to unravel? When unknown villains threaten to take away his reason for fighting each day?

“I also want to make sure I please my boss.”

“You don’t have to worry, Ms. Jenkins, you tend to always leave me satisfied.”

Holly & Liam….<3 Oh my gosh!! Geez...oh this couple...wow yeah, they certainly ticked the office romance box for sure! I loved the dynamics between Liam and Holly, beautifully written and a steamy emotional read.

I loved reading Liam’s story after knowing of him from book 1 and meeting Holly with her son Matty-who will put a smile on your faces with his antics and such tender sweet moments. Jaxson and River, oh and Sam too are along for the ride...and let’s just say that it’s a good thing, as in this story every hero needs back-up.

Holly's roommate calls her in desperation to come and pick her up but when she arrives her roommate is no longer in need of her rescuing. So Holly makes her way to the bar where she partakes bit too much and meets Liam. Holly and Liam hit it off at the bar and find themselves back in his room. The next morning Holly wakes alone with a note saying thanks for the good time. And that wasn't all he left. A little over three years later Liam and Holly run into each other again on the street. Liam cannot give into her outside of a bar so he walks away only to have his company hire her as an interior designer for his building. Holly is in shock that she has found Liam again and she always said that if she ever saw him again she would let him know that he was a father.

Secret/Surprise babies are my jam. One of my favorite troupes and this is probably hands down one of my favorites. Each and every reaction or feeling that Liam and Holly went through felt real. It felt like how it could have played out in real life. It didn't feel like contrived feelings or actions for the sake of drama in a romance novel. I. LOVE. IT. You could feel Liam's struggles and my heart ached for him. But each and every time he proved how strong and amazing he is. Holly is a dang superhero, single momming it and then being as supportive and understanding as she is when she learns of Liam's demons. I want to be her when I grow up. And the relationship with Liam and Matty - holy ovary explosion. So dang sweet. All the hearts. Then we have the conflict/plot twist and I really have no words. I didn't see that coming at all but I loved it. I also loved each character's reaction to it. So flippin' good. I cannot say enough about this book. I guess I missed book one but it didn't take away anything from this story. I highly recommend All In. Do it.

I received an ARC for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Surprise Baby! I love these stories, and this one threw me for quite a twist! Erica does it again and delivers a fantastic story.

Liam Morgan owns Morgan Securities and has been sober for the last 2 ½ years. His go-to was pain pills and alcohol. After finding out he has been a father for the past two years, he is determined now more than ever to stay sober. Liam also hopes to rekindle some romance with the child’s mother.

Holly Jenkins worked as an interior designer and had to break the news to her new boss that well he is the father of her child. Awkward! Surprisingly it goes very well, and Matty takes to Liam. When Liam starts acting hot and cold to her, she wonders if it’s her or something else?

All In had quite a lot of twists and turns. Holly is a better person than me. I don’t know if I would have been able to handle everything she did with such grace and patience. Liam may have some demons, but he has an amazingly good head on his shoulders, considering how his family has treated him.

I must say little Matty, and Terry’s relationship stole the show. Matty is Holly and Liam’s, and that boy is super shy, so I loved it when Terry would fake pout a hug, and Matty would giggle. I could see that happening and would laugh at Terry’s pouty ways of Matty not giving her snuggles, hugs, or a kiss quite yet!

Erica Marselas is back with “All In” this is the second book in the keep breathing series and it’s everything I hoped it would be and more no one tells a story like Erica Marselas she knows how to reel you in and keep you hooked from start to finish!

Liam Morgan is trying to turn his life around he’s battling his inner demons by trading one addiction for another by countless one night stands and concentrating on his work Liam is CEO of Morgan securities and his routine works until her meets her...

Holly has just started a new job as Liams interior designer but this is not the first time she has met Liam she met Liam 3 years ago where they had one night which resulted in much more than just “a little bit of fun”

I absolutely adored this story Liam and Holly gave you all the feels I really felt for Liam not only is he battling his own demons with addiction but he has also been hurt in his past Holly was such a strong character she stood by Liam through everything even when he became hot and cold towards her Holly was Liams Rock their sexual chemistry was undeniable and I especially loved Liams bond with Hollys adorable little boy it was enough to make your overies explode! this book is an emotional rollercoaster that I will not forget if you like secret baby second chance romances then I highly urge you to add this book to your tbr list and order on release day

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

M/F Romance

Liam is known for being unattached. He loves his life but had to work very hard to get where he is. With a family that is less than supportive, but friends who would lay down their lives for him, Liam knows how lucky he truly is. His company is doing well and even though his dad doesn't have very much faith in him, Liam knows that he took a company that was on the brink of bankruptcy and turned it in to the profitable company it is today.

Holly knows that her life isn't what she planned. But she wouldn't change anything in her life for anything. She has supportive parents, a great best friend, and has a great 4-year-old son. Also, now that her career can take off, she's excited to be working on fun, large projects. When her good friend recommends her for a job, the last person she expects to see is Liam.

As Holly and Liam navigate their working relationship, their personal relationship has several ups and downs. This story was a test in patience. I wanted Liam's family to grow up – yes, all of them. And I wanted his brother to suffer. I know, I know, family isn't chosen. But in Liam's case, he can choose people he wants to be around.

I am very much looking forward to the next book, but hope that we get more closure about Liam's family and especially his brother's issues. It felt a little incomplete.

I got this ARC for a review. I LOVE the cover and I really liked the book, when you think the worst is over, there is just another wave coming. The more pain, the more reward.

Holly and Liam (dressed as Thor) met at a Comic Con, got drunk at the bar and took their festivities and sorrow to the hotel room. Having never exchanged last names, they would basically never find each other again. Then whoops, someone did not "wrap their hammer" and the other got knocked up. Three years later, Holly is back in town and just got a new job as an interior designer for Morgan Securities. The night before her first day of work her BFF Terri had her go out to The Tilted Keg for a night of celebration. Liam's baggage is weighting heavy on him and he took a run . Ending up outside The Tilted Keg and became entranced by Holly, calling her Red due to the red dress she was wearing.

The next day they find out that she works for him. A little while later she shares her little secret with him and everything gets better from there. The baggage will be unloaded and examined. There are some turn of events that I do not see coming, in the end it was very good.

****Jax and River make an appearance, Memories of You will be the next book by Erica Marselas sharing Ryan Davis' story, so its said his wife has been missing and she is soon found, more info is TBA*****

I love baby romances, and this book was a great one to read. Holly is a generous person, who went to pick up her friend from a Comic Con convention. There she meets "Liam" and they have a one night stand, which results in a surprise pregnancy. Two years later, Holly is working as an interior designer, and she just so happens to come work for Liam, her one night stand and father of her child.

I really loved how Marselas created some depth with Liam. He is a tortured soul, struggling with his own internal demons, and he has many. So many that it makes him run hot and cold with our heroine Holly, not knowing whether to trust her or not. It can be a little disheartening and confusing here until you get glimpses of his past. There's a lot going on in the story with Liam's business, his romantic past, his relationship with his twin brother, and his own personal past with addiction. Holly is caring, a good mom to her son, and extremely loyal to Liam. She continually proves that she wants to be with him, and that she is on his side regardless of who has doubts about him and his abilities. The daddy and son bond is endearing to read, and you root for Liam as he pursues his HEA. Marselas plays with this (second chance) baby daddy romance, but includes so many twists and turns, the book keeps you guessing.

This was a good read full of emotions and surprises, witty banter and a three year old that will melt your heart.

Liam has spent the last year and half fighting his demons, growing the company he has taken over from his father. Non committal one night stands seems to be his latest addiction. When faced with a surprise that could change his life, we see a much different side of the stern uptight boss. Could this be just what he needed?

Holly is doing what she can to make a name for herself in the design business and is over the moon when she gets the opportunity to work for Morgan Securities. Raising her little guy Matty isn't always easy but he is the best thing that has happened to her. Never expecting to find the man she only saw once and only had a first name for, she is shocked when she bumps into him on the street and then again at her newest job.

Could the consequences from one night be the beginnings of a wonderful relationship they weren't looking for? Could the secrets still buried have everything crumbling to the ground? Or will a new found love and devotion be enough to keep them moving forward?

This was my first read by Erica Marselas and I am sure there will be more.

This story will forever remain etched into my heart!

Is a ten-star rating possible?! This story is about Liam and Holly; the story begins with a flashback where Liam and Holly meet, the night that they had a one night stand. Flash forward to three years later, where we find that Liam has been recovering from addictions for three years, and Holly a single mother of a two and half-year-old; Matty.

Holly and Liam meet again outside a bar, but when Holly asks him if he wants to drink, he immediately stiffens, turns her offer down and goes home. Their next meet turns out to be their place of work; Holly is the new interior designer, and Liam is the CEO of the company at which she now works! Holly is scared about telling Liam but tells him in the first week, they get a paternity test, and the fatherhood is confirmed! As soon as Liam accepts this information, he starts to fall in love with his son and slowly, slowly even for the boy's mother! Find out what happens, by purchasing 'All In' now!

In love with the book, the story is so sweet! I enjoyed seeing the main characters' infatuation with each other!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I fell in love with Liam in book one Barely Breathing, but in book 2 All In...man I was borderline obsessed lol. Just kidding but seriously he is everything I need in a man. He’s passionate, loving, hot as heck, the bedroom scenes steamy and he’s unselfish...but he wasn’t always this beautiful man. He has deep rooted demons that sent him into a state of addiction and one night stands until she walks into his life.
Holly is the perfect example of the woman who has her entire life planned out. She never makes a hasty decision, always thinking everything through thoroughly before taking the next step. Always put together and in control, until that one time with that one man, in that one place that changes her life forever.
I recommend this book without a hesitation. It’s is a stand alone but I think it’s even better if you read book one first. Otherwise spoiler for book one lol. But seriously don’t miss out grab your copy ASAP. If you love a story about some who is a the brink who fight their way back from the fiery pits then this is the book for you. The twist that is in store for you...oh man.

I have to say that I really didn't see All In coming whatsoever.  I'm a sucker for secret baby stories and this one certainly came off original at the end of the day. Liam has some serious demons, and it took him to some bad places but he got out of it but still uses sex for a crutch, making him the king of one night stands. Holly is a single mother who had a one night stand, and as fate would have it, she ends up on a new job to design Liam's company so surprise! Fortunately Liam took it well, and they started trying to navigate through this new territory with the super cute tiny human Matty trying to steal the show, things weren't necessarily easy. Liam blows hot & cold all over the place, and while I would have harmed him for it, Holly has the biggest heart, with the patience of a saint. And just when things are going well, BAM! A HUGE twist comes out of left field (I just so happen to be watching the Atlanta Braves trying to get into the World Series which is why I keep using those terms) that could destroy everything. So, if you want to know how it all played out, well, you'll have to hit those one click buttons while I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORY TO ALL!

This was my first book from Erica Marselas and oh my god it was so good I devoured it.

A few years ago Liam met Holly at a comic con and one thing lead to another lead to a baby. But he disappeared and left her little to go on.

How shes back in town after moving to live with her parents and raise her son. Her son is a toddler but she can do it on her own and she does.

She runs into Liam one night and is too shocked to say anything. Buuuuttt then he hires her after a recommendation from a friend. Holly cannot not tell him that he's a father. And that info blows up his world. This isn't the first time he's been told he's a father so he's pretty cautious.

But when its confirmed Liam changed his ways. So used to women wanting him for his money and after being burned he's become this one night stand man. But like he wants to be better for his son and for Holly.

This book definitely had some twists and turns and I would be lying if I didn't swoon at the father he had become.

BTW this book is slightly more about Holly but like I just really liked Liam so in my head its about him.

All In by Erica Marselas is the second book in the Keep Breathing series and utterly captivating!

The universe sure has it out for Holly and Liam but I loved every second of the bumpy and emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey!

Holly is just trying to do her best, be the best daughter, best friend, best mom, and she is brilliant at it, with a kind heart and open arms, wanting the best for those she loves.

Liam has a lot of baggage yet does a remarkable job of trying to carry that load. With the support of his best friends he does what he can to stay on track, to try and make his family proud, to try and overcome the demons that haunt him.

The two of them together? A heck of a lot of chemistry, and a lot of twists and turns to nagivate that really bolster the story and strengthen the character development!

If you're looking for a coming into one's own and learning how to be happy with yourself and who you are kind of story, look no further! You'll be cheering for Holly and Liam, just like I did!

P. S. Can we all agree that Matty is ADORABLE?!

OMG I loved this book

Erica has written one of my favourite tropes secret baby/Second chance and this story doesn't disappoint

The story start 3 years ago when Holly goes to meet her friend and gets stud up, Holly meets Liam and this is when things heat up, Boom one hot night and a note in the morning "it was Fun" Fast forward 3 years and they meet each other again, well Holly (Red) remembers him but Liam not so much.

Holly get a job working for Liam as an interior designer for his building and an office romance ensues. We learn about Liam's trust issues his drug and Alcohol problem. Holly has her own issues but she is such a strong character and a perfect match for Liam. This story has twist and turns at every page, What a bombshell, I can honestly say I was not expecting that and it actually brought tears to my eyes.

This book was well written and look forward to the nest book by Erica

I didn't think it could get any hotter than Barely Breathing but All In will have you fanning yourself throughout the whole time your reading this book. This is Liam and Holly's story and your in for one great ride.

Saying that it isn't your atypical romance. Girl doesn't just meet boy and they fall in love and live happily ever after sorry nope that isn't that kind of story. Holly is one sassy lady who doesn't take nonsense from anyone even someone like Liam. Liam is not the guy you take home to your mother. And while you may feel like shaking him about he is a real sweetheart someone you cant help but fall in love with yourself.

I loved this book it was beautifully written with wonderful characters some even popping up from book one. I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a good romance and who always wants to go back for more.

5 star review of All In (Keep breathing #2) by Erica Marselas

Erica Marselas is a new author to me and I have no idea why I have not come across her before. All In was well written with characters that whose story you cannot help but become invested in.

I really liked Liam and Holly, they were easy to relate to and this was a fast paced story that ticked the boxes for me. A one night stand between Liam and Holly results in a life changing event for Holly, however since Liam does not leave a way to contact him, Holly has no way to share her news with him.

Fast forward three years and fate steps in and they meet again.; the chemistry between them is still there. Liam has demons and I admired how supportive Holly was once she learned about them; I also loved how determined Liam was to overcome them.

The relationship that develops between Liam and Matty was heart warming . There was also a twist that I didn’t see coming an that added an additional layer to my enjoyment.

Erica Marselas has meshed the second-chance romance and secret baby tropes so gloriously in this book. But where those sometimes come across as too saccharine sweet for me, Erica challenges the expected and intertwines this story with drama, betrayal, and incredible passion. Liam and Holly do not have an easy road in this book, both of them working through the pain to what will hopefully be their healing conclusion. I loved Holly, although I definitely didn’t relate to her. In her position, I would’ve been all drama and a hot mess express, but she endured all of the challenges and managed to help heal Liam and guide him into his relationship with the adorable Matty. If you haven’t read any of Erica’s other books, the Keep Breathing series is a fabulous place to start, I promise you’ll want to dive into all the rest once you do!

WOW! Not that I expected anything less, but still WOW! Erica Marselas has a way of writing that is fresh, emotional and raw and I LOVE it.

This is the second book of her Keep Breathing series and as with the first book this one too will take your breath away. In this story we get to be a part of Holly and Liam’s story. Liam is broken, and vulnerable and Holly is just strong enough to help him heal and show him what unconditional love is. This story is beautifully written and really hits you in the feels, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, because life sometimes has dark and raw moments. This story is real, and you feel like you are a part of it.

I love Erica’s writing style, do not miss out on this series because it’s just that good.

This is the 2nd book in this awesome series and is Liam and Holly’s story. Liam is the CEO of Morgan Securities and is a womanizer who has trust issues, and when he and Holly meets, they end up having a one-night stand which had results. Now 3-years later they bump into each other, and Holly has been hired by his company as an interior designer and she had no clue that he would be her new boss. I loved how Liam opened his heart to Matty their little son. The chemistry between Liam and Holly is explosive and undeniable, but can this broken man heal and move on? This is a beautifully written story which is an addictive page turner, as well as having angst, secrets, twists, and love. I highly recommend this for all readers.
