An overwhelming majority of Orthodox Jews will vote for President Trump over former Vice President Joe Biden, according to a new poll.

Eighty-three percent of Orthodox Jews said they will vote for Trump, and 13% said they will vote for Biden, according to a poll commissioned by Ami Magazine. Four percent of respondents said they are undecided.

“EXCLUSIVE: In a new national poll commissioned by @Ami_Magazine, 83% of Orthodox Jews say they’re voting for President Trump, while 13% are voting for VP Biden,” Ami’s senior White House correspondent Jake Turx tweeted. “This marks a 29% swing in favor of Trump since 2016.”

The poll was conducted with 1,000 Orthodox Jews from 22 states and has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points. The magazine said it relied on “the most currently available internal data, which breaks down America’s Orthodox Jewish constituency as 66% ultra-Orthodox or Haredi, 23% Modern Orthodox, 6% Traditional and 5% identifying either as Orthodox without a specific denomination or preferring not to say.”

The poll also found that 76% of respondents believe the media treats Trump unfairly, with 14% saying he is treated evenhandedly.

“Political surveys of only Orthodox Jews are rare. A survey of Orthodox Jews conducted in January, provided to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, found that 66% of Haredi voters reported having voted for Trump in 2016, compared to just 32% of Modern Orthodox voters,” the Times of Israel noted.

In 2017, 54% of Orthodox Jews voted for Trump, according to a survey from the American Jewish Committee. Approval of the president’s work in office has risen among the community, with Ami Magazine finding last year that approval for the president sat at 89%.

A national poll average shows Trump trailing Biden by 9.2 points.
