7 Anti-Racism Educators Your Company Needs Now

Within the last few weeks, requests for racial equity educators has skyrocketed. Companies have been evaluating their culture and recognize that much more could be done to foster inclusion for employees and ensure everyone is being treated equitably. And while there are a number of excellent books that highlight topics of racism, privilege and power (Me and White Supremacy, So You Want to Talk About Race and How to be an Antiracist), many are looking for more. For those of you looking to enlist the help of subject matter experts, below is a list of Black educators and consultants who specialize in increasing understanding and awareness about racial equity.

1.    Kim Crowder: Kim is a diversity, equity and inclusion consultant with more than 16 years of experience in marketing and communications. Kim provides webinars, workshops, keynotes, coaching, and customized packages. Much of her current works centers around the Black community and how employers can strengthen their relationships with Black employees. 2.    Torin Perez: Torin is a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant who has spoken at more than 50 colleges, conferences and organizations, with some of which being Fortune 100 companies. Torin co-led the launce of Bloomberg LP’s first Black employee resource group and is a renowned and recognized leader having received many accolades and awards for his leadership work and contributions. 3.    Dr. Kimya Nuru Dennis: Kimya is a community activist, sociologist and criminologist who founded 365 Diversity LLC. Kimya offers trainings, workshops, evaluations and assessments for your school, business or organization. 5.    Theresa M. Robinson: Theresa is a speaker, workshop facilitator, coach and author. Theresa has over 15 years of experience training and coaching organization leadership to create environments that are equitable and inclusive for all. 6.    Netta Jenkins: Netta is a diversity, equity and inclusion expert, keynote speaker and consultant who is available for speaking engagements, diversity and inclusion organizational assessments, and webinars. Netta has won multiple awards and has received recognition for her corporate diversity efforts. 7.    Aiko Betha: Aiko is the founder of RARE Coaching & Consulting, LLC, where the focus is on executive coaching and diversity, equity and inclusion consulting services.
