Muslim Brotherhood sponsor Qatar is tightening its relations with Turkey in order to shore up its regional clout. This is noteworthy in light of the fact that Turkey’s relationship with Egypt has suffered because of Turkey’s affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood, “as well as the dispute over gas resources in the Mediterranean. Egypt has made plans to jointly control recently discovered gas fields in the eastern Mediterranean with Israel, Greece, and Cyprus — excluding Turkey in the process.” In the case of Qatar:
Since the summer of 2017, Qatar has faced a boycott from several neighboring countries over its alleged support of extremism, a move initiated by Saudi Arabia. Since then, ties between Doha and Ankara have become increasingly close.
Like Turkey, Qatar supports the Muslim Brotherhood, and the two countries both have ambitions in Libya. “From Qatar’s perspective, Libya is a country where it can confront Saudi Arabia indirectly and hamper its plans.” Both countries seek a Muslim Brotherhood regime in Tripoli, and so both of their defense ministers have just “signed a military agreement with the Muslim Brotherhood Government in Tripoli.” Part of that agreement involved setting up a military training camp to train Muslim Brotherhood troops.
One of the priorities of Muslim Brotherhood supporters and operatives worldwide is to destroy the freedom of speech, using the “Islamophobia” canard. Turkey and Qatar are working toward exactly that. Doha’s Ambassador to Ankara Salem Mubarak Al-Shafi stated:
True Islam plays a role in strengthening the relations between the Islamic world and the West to reduce stereotypes and false beliefs and to combat prejudice, intolerance toward Islam and Muslims in all respects. Following the recent developments and the escalation of the wave of Islamophobia, the State of Qatar has renewed its complete rejection of any form of hate speech based on belief, race or religion, condemning the growing rise of populist discourses that incite insult to religions.
“Turkey, Qatar cooperation to be strengthened with new agreements, envoy says,” Daily Sabah, November 22, 2020:
Cooperation between Turkey and Qatar will be strengthened through several agreements that cover the defense industry, education, military and trade, Doha’s Ambassador to Ankara Salem Mubarak Al-Shafi said….
Underlining that Turkey and Qatar cooperate on regional issues as well as economic ones, Al-Shafi said the countries’ policies towards Libya are coherent. Stating that the recently signed cease-fire between the rival parties, namely the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) and the Tobruk-based House of Representatives, allied with putschist Gen. Khalifa Haftar, was welcomed by Qatar, the envoy also said that it supports all efforts that contribute to the war-ravaged country’s stability, sovereignty and unity. Al-Shafi said they hoped that the peace talks would result in an extensive political solution that establishes a country where the rule of law is respected and civilian institutions are established. Stressing that Doha has supported the internationally recognized government from the start, Al-Shafi said it was a position shared by Turkey.
“We aim to bring peace, enhance the prosperity and stability of Libya and provide benefits for both sides,” he added….
Assessing the rising discrimination, hostility, anti-Islam and anti-Muslim sentiments in Europe, Al-Shafi underlined that fighting intolerance against Islam and Muslims is of critical importance nowadays.
Stressing that Qatar and Turkey both intensely promote Islamic culture the envoy said, “Turkey and Qatar have many projects and initiatives to sustain economic resources of educational and cultural Islamic institutions which aim to remove the negative perception of Islam and increase the awareness of global values.”
“True Islam plays a role in strengthening the relations between the Islamic world and the West to reduce stereotypes and false beliefs and to combat prejudice, intolerance toward Islam and Muslims in all respects. Following the recent developments and the escalation of the wave of Islamophobia, the State of Qatar has renewed its complete rejection of any form of hate speech based on belief, race or religion, condemning the growing rise of populist discourses that incite insult to religions. Undoubtedly, the period we are in is very critical. With a global crisis and a profound misunderstanding of Islam, the use of religion in the wrong contexts is often confused with political motives that at times cause events and loss of life. Therefore, it is extremely important to work patiently by correcting misunderstandings,” Al-Shafi continued….

Islamophobia is Gas Lighting and Psychological Projection
The fake slur of ‘Islamophobia’ is a perfect example of GAS-LIGHTING … pretending that another person is MENTALLY ILL in order to dismiss his valid concerns. Those who criticize Islam are almost always sane and rational, rather than mentally ill or ‘phobic’.
The slander of ‘Islamophobia’ is also a PSYCHOLOGICAL PROJECTION from Muslims … transferring one’s own guilty behaviors onto ‘others’ and scapegoating them for it. Muslims actively hate non-Muslim kafirs as a religious duty.
In fact, AL WALAA WAL BARAA is the Islamic MIRROR IMAGE of what ‘Islamophobia’ is supposed to be … thus showing that the ‘Islamophobia’ smear is a PROJECTION of Muslims’ KAFIR-O-PHOBIA … their hatred directed against non-Muslims.
AL WALAA WAL BARAA (‘comradeship’ with Muslims and ‘hostility’ towards dirty kafirs) is an authentic, canonical, compulsory and universally required teaching of Islam that ALL Muslims are obligated to believe and practice for eternal salvation.
AL WALAA WAL BARAA is actually KAFIR-O-PHOBIA … hatred and hostility directed by Muslims against the dirty kufaar ‘for the sake of Allah’.
A leading Muslim expert on Sharia law declared that Muslims have a duty to HATE KAFIRS:
-Imam Abdul-Latif ibn Abdur-Rahman Rahimullah said, “It is not possible for someone to realize Tawheed (Islamic faith) and act upon it, and yet not be HOSTILE against the mushrikeen (i.e. wrong worshippers). So anyone who isn’t HOSTILE against the mushrikeen, then it cannot be said that he acts upon Tawheed nor that he realizes it.” [ad-Durar as-Saniyyah 8/167]

“the escalation of the wave of Islamophobia”
Using other words, “more of the world learns the truth about Islam and Muslims”

I agree, Emilie. I see any “wave of Islamophobia” as being a good thing. As you say, I think it might mean that, at last, more people are waking up to the loathsome nature of Islam. I hope that that is what it means. It’s about time. I’ve been waiting for more of the populations of all our countries to wake up to the reality of what islam is like for a long time, so any growth in Islamophobia is a good thing. To me, it is amazing how Muslims seem to think that they can treat non-Muslims appallingly (terrorist attacks, etc) and yet think non-Muslims should still think Islam is just fine and dandy.
Boycott Turkey says
This is sickening Turkey crying Islamophobia while destroying historic Churches and trying to earase Greek Christian history from Turkey and they get no punishment no criticism yet they want to use islamophobia to carry on persecution of Christians so if victims of Islam speak out they get punished this is so unjust and unfair butchers playing the victims and getting away with it Turkey should be sanctioned thrown out of NATO and tried for war crimes what kind of a world is this ?

With any luck, the “Islamophobia” is just getting started.

One mistake that the Trump administration made was not getting on the same page as the Saudis and Emiratis wrt Qatar. While the president himself expressed agreement w/ the Saudis on this point, the rest of the government did what they could to resolve things b/w Qatar and the other Arabs, overlooking Qatar’s ties to various Jihadist forces. I’d hope that if Trump stays, he’ll reverse that policy completely. I have no idea where Biden stands on this, and I daresay neither does he!

Turkish State should fight against the Armenophobia and Kurdophobia which is so common among both secularist and Islamic Turks. But given that the Turkish State is the sole responsible for the hatred toward Armenians and Kurds in Turkey, I don’t expect them to take steps to fight racism and hatred.

Turkey and Qatar vow to work together to combat ‘the escalation of the wave of Islamophobia’
…………………..
Two Muslim polities that treat religious minorities like crap. This is nothing but projection.
OLD GUY says
Two countries that do nothing to stop the escalation of islamic violence are so concerned about their image and what other people have to say about it. If Turkey and Qatar want to change the image of Islam they need to hold the radical islamic terrorist responsible and shut them down.
