Imagine the outcry if a non-Muslim leader said Muslims were not welcome at the site of an ancient Muslim holy place. But no one will take any particular notice of this.
“PA mufti: No room for non-Muslims on Temple Mount,” by Khaled Abu Toameh, Jerusalem Post, December 16, 2020 (thanks to Henry):
The Palestinian Authority Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein, on Tuesday warned of attempts by Jewish groups to establish a presence on the Temple Mount….
“We affirm, time and again, that the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, with its entire area of 144 dunams [144,000 sq.m.], is Islamic and only for Muslims,” he said. “There is no place for non-Muslims in any way in this mosque, whether through schools, churches or other places of worship.”
Jordan, meanwhile, has again condemned visits by Jews to the Temple Mount as a “reckless provocation and a violation of international law and the legal and historical status quo.”
In a statement, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said that it “denounces the continued Israeli violations at al-Aqsa Mosque/al-Haram al-Sharif.”
Referring to visits by Jews to the compound, the ministry said: “Under the protection of the Israeli forces, extremists recently stormed the holy site. These rejected and reckless provocations are a violation of international law and the legal and historical status quo, which breach Israel’s obligations as the occupying power in east Jerusalem.”…

Muftis of Jerusalem don’t have a great track record in the truth department. Think, as an example, Haj Amin al-Husseini.
As for non-Muslims having no place in any way respecting the al-Aqsa Mosque, just extrapolate this to the world at large, i.e., non-Muslims have no place anywhere on earth unless as completely perpetual dhimmis.
So, I say to this Mufti and to the Islamic world at large, screw you. Now it’s time for a beer and a pork and sauerkraut sandwich.

This muftis is yet another example of the historic intolerance exhibited by Mohammedans against “Kafirs”

I believe this same SooperSmart mufti proclaimed that the al-Aqsa mosque/barracks had been there since the time of ADAM AND EVE! Funny that subsequent Old and New Testament authors and Romans did not mention that odd building on the south perimeter of the Temple Mount with all the arabic-speaking dudes with hats bowing down to a then-non-existent town in the western arabian wastes!!! They mentioned just about everyone else hanging out in that region without a problem. Hmmmm…
Of course, even 1930s tourist pamphlets state that the building was erected after Omar Badr conquered Jerusalem in the 630’s a few years after Mo died (who NEVER set foot there at all).

Mufti of Jerusalem: Temple Mount ‘is Islamic and only for Muslims, there is no place for non-Muslims’
……………….
Never mind that this is the holiest place for Jews, and has had a historical Christian presence as well.
The sick fact is that if this *hadn’t* been the Temple Mount that Muslims never would have built their supremacist Mosque there in the first place.
Infidel says
Israel should do what Turkey did to Hagia Sophia, or better still, what India did in Ayodhya, and just level the al Aqsa mosque, and have it rebuilt in Ramallah. Build the third temple of Solomon, or a third temple, and open it up for all Jews to worship. The last is what India is currently doing in Ayodhya for Hindus: building a new grand temple in Ayodhya, while allocating 5 acres of land in a Muslim area far from that city for an alternate mosque. Since this was spelt out by India’s supreme court, the mohammedans just had to shut up and swallow it.
gravenimage says
Infidel, I take your point–but Hagia Sophia was built as a Christian Cathedral, and the Temple Mount is just that. So if Israel *did* level the Al Aqsa Mosque, if would not be like Turkey seizing Hagia Sophia and turning it into a Mosque. Same situatiion with India–this Temple was Hindu to begin with.
Infidel says
Graven, I get your point as well – I was suggesting that the party in power – in this case the Jews – do what the Hindus did – and level the building, build a new grand synagogue in its place, and build the mosque in Ramallah, using some of the money they’ve witheld from the Palis due to their jihadist activities.
The analogy started and ended w/ the party in power – be it muslim, Jew or Hindu – using its power to do what is in its best interests. I wasn’t going into the original statii of the temples in question

Thank, Infidel.

It’s time for reciprocity, muslims shouldn.t be allowed outside of “muslim” countries.

One of the very few prophecies of Mohammed:
[T]he Messenger of Allah (Mohammed) observed: Verily Islam started as something strange and it would again revert (to its old position) of being strange just as it started, and it would recede between the two mosques just as the serpent crawls back into its hole.” – http://sunnah.com/muslim/1/280

Mufti also visited Hitler in Germany. Never-before-seen Photos of Palestinian Mufti With Hitler Ties Visiting Nazi Germany
The six pictures of Haj Amin al-Husseini visiting Nazi Germany are opening on the auction block at $10,000
Published on 15.06.2017
A new catalog published by the Kedem Auction House contains a valuable historical item: six previously unknown photographs from a visit by the mufti of Jerusalem to Nazi Germany.
‘The Kedem photos are apparently unknown even to historians and researchers of the Nazi period.’
Nazi SS commander wished Grand Mufti success in fight ‘against the Jewish invaders’
Who was Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem?
Netanyahu clarifies: Nazis, not mufti, decided on Final Solution
Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini’s connection to Nazi Germany has made headlines several times in recent years thanks to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who used him as an example of Palestinian attitudes toward Israel to bolster his claim that Israel has no Palestinian partner.
Granted, Netanyahu exaggerated when he claimed in 2015 that Husseini had persuaded Hitler to launch the Final Solution, but the storm that erupted over that statement did raise awareness of Husseini’s Nazi ties.

Westman says
Muslims only have access to the Temple Mount, after the 1967 war(Naksa), because Israel agreed to it. Israel could have kept all of Jerusalem and some of Jordan.
Egypt tried to defeat Israel in 1973 and after initial “little victories” almost lost their army. Israel surrounded it in the Sinai and could have totally destroyed Egypt’s army but instead chose to accept Egypt’s call for peace. In the initial battles, it has been claimed, Israel discussed dropping a nuke on the Egyptian army but decided they could win with conventional weapons. We should never dismiss Israel’s willingness to use those weapons if it’s a matter of survival and the target is sufficiently remote.
So soon the Arabs forget their defeats.
The regional problems for Israel are Iran and Turkey. Israel may have no choice except destroying Fordow to stop the insane Mullahs from getting nuclear weapons. This might give the Iranian citizens the opportunity to overthrow the hated regime. It could also lead to Israel considering an all-out war with Iran that wouldn’t last 8 years or 8 months.
If Israel defeated Iran, it would be “game over” for Muslim control of the Temple Mount. Israel would never pay such a high price for its security and accept threats or conditions from any Muslim source. It’s likely that the US would stand against any third party that wanted to join Iran.
I fully expect the Dome Of The Rock and Al-Aqsa will be removed in my children’s lifetime.

Just what may turn out to be a stupid question, but is Jerusalem even mentioned in the Koran, except in the flying donkey story?
Michael Copeland says
“Jerusalem is not directly mentioned by name in the Qur’an, nor is it mentioned by its Arabic translation (Al Quds).” (wikipedia)
The flying donkey went to “the furthest mosque”, no place-name mentioned.

These times we live in are just insane , if you let muslims do and say whatever they want without countering them with unconfortable truths , their insanity grows only bolder . There is no way that keepeng silent on muslim supremacism , is a healthy response , at some point Islam will feel so enboldened in the face of non muslim indifference and fear of beeing called islamophobes , that all hell will brake loose.

This is all very true. Even a rudimentary peruse of the quran will show what islam is all about. That people get their face’s from in front of their televisions and READ is too much to ask.

To the contrary of what the mufti says, Temple Mount and Jerusalem have never been considered ‘haram’ as with Mecca and Medina which forbid the entry of dirty kafirs.
Dirty kafirs have generally always been allowed at Temple Mount, because Muslims know it is of minor importance.
Caliph Abd al Malik tried to make a ‘new temple’ to found the religion of Islam and unite Jews and Christians under it. That attempt failed. The Muslims were then stuck with a building and tried to claim Mohammed was there during his dream of going to paradise on a flying donkey (The ‘Miraj’). Caliph Abd al Malik commissioned an Islamic scholar to write false hadiths to justify the use of the Dome of the Rock by Muslims.
Even today, few Muslims visit the Dome of the Rock, whereas, two million pilgrims go to Mecca every year.

The mu=slimes, their bullsh*t “religion”, their pedophilic “messenger of allah” are all a plague to civilization on our planet. I’m afraid a new crusade maybe in our future. This time, the result will hopefully be the end of islam.

According to the Daily Mail yesterday, archaeologists have found a temple site just below the Temple Mount, which may date back to 2000-1500BC, ie the time of Abraham.

It’s sad when you believe your own lies like this mufti obviously does…
Temple of the Mount belonged to Jews and Christians before his cult was dreamt up by a pedophile in a cave.
Even sadder is he is the mufti of a non-existent people from a fairyland story.
