My latest in PJ Media:
Amid all the high-fiving and champagne cork-popping that the establishment media has been indulging in over His Fraudulency Joe Biden’s so far successful theft of the 2020 election, The Times of London has sounded a decidedly discordant note, running a piece Saturday with the startling headline, “Trump had Tehran on the ropes: now our hope is gone.” And it’s true: If Donald Trump leaves the White House as expected on January 20, 2021, and Biden/Harris/Pelosi/Schumer/Obama/Soros follow through on their plan to reinstate the disastrous Iran nuclear deal, the best chance to topple the Islamic Republic, one of the world’s worst human rights abusers, will be gone.
It was during the Trump administration that we saw Iranian protesters chanting: “We don’t want an Islamic Republic!” “Clerics shame on you, let go of our country!” Some chanted: “Reza Shah, bless your soul!” Reza Shah was the Shah of Iran from 1925 to 1941 and the father of Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, the Shah who was overthrown in the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Reza Shah admired Turkey’s Kemal Ataturk and set Iran on a similar path of Westernization and secularization. In chanting this, the protesters are emphasizing that they do not just want economic reforms, as has been the line of the establishment media in the West. Nor do they want an Islamic Republic that is less corrupt. They don’t want an Islamic Republic at all.
In April 2018, thousands of Iranians in a soccer stadium chanted “Reza Shah!” In June of that year, Iranians celebrated a World Cup victory by once again chanting “Reza Shah.”
Was it just a coincidence that the Iranian people began to make their deep dissatisfaction with the Islamic Republic known while Donald Trump was in the White House? Maybe. It is he who began the erosion of the acceptance that the mullahs had won around the world and he who began to put pressure on them with new sanctions that did not, contrary to the confident predictions of establishment foreign policy “experts,” solidify the Iranian people in hatred of America. Instead, they turned the Iranian people against their vicious and inhumane regime, once again vindicating Trump’s flouting of the conventional State Department wisdom.
There is much more. Read the rest here.

Biden will again strengthen the mullahocracy to continue crushing and persecuting Iranians who yearn to be free and democratic.

Spencer, I agree that Trump was right about Iran (and Israel). But Republicans must soberly review why they lost the presidency. Conspiracy theories and incitement to violence against governors and election officials will not do.
Brando says
No,it is not a Conspiracy Theory, since with FAR LESS evidence serious HISTORIANS today affirm:
that in the 1960 Presidential Election between KENNEDY and NIXON,
there was fraud. Kennedy won helped by the MAFIA, he should Not have become president.

Roland: If you really want to confront the truth of things, go to the article of December 7th, here at JW, entitled “Iran: Foes of regime hoped Trump’s pressure could bring down Islamic Republic, ‘now our hope is gone.'”
There I provided a link in response to “Rarely’s” skepticism about my and so many others’ skepticism respecting the 2020 election. Owensgate also provided an important link.
I submit (not meant in an Islamic way) that you are falling for the lie put forth by the MSM and other mendacious entities (e.g., the Democratic Party) that asserting that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump is just conspiracy nonsense. And please do note as well how completely incurious the Democratic Party and MSM are about the 2020 election outcome even though massive, and I mean massive, evidence exists that the election was stolen, but yet each of which pursued for three plus years a phony Russian collusion hoax by the Trump campaign which was based on a fake dossier paid for by the Clinton campaign and now, hey, nothing to see here, folks, time to move on. Can you be this gullible? Can you be this uninformed?
I challenge you to read the Roberts’ article, heavily sourced, I provided a link to and still conclude that maintaining that the assertion that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump is just conspiracy stuff, looneytown garbage, etc. Yeah, do so. and I hope, unlike “Rarely,” who did not have the gumption to reply, you will. Give it a shot.
As for violence, did you bother to notice that once Biden by way of massive fraud in the early hours of November 4th was declared by the MSM to be the winner, virtually all the violence that was anticipated by sundry businesses in sundry cities and towns DID NOT OCCUR. It is the Left, not the Right, that is a menace to liberty in America. It is the Left, not the Right, that has developed an enormous proclivity for violence. Hopefully, you can at least grasp this.
I will be waiting for your reply AFTER you read the Roberts’ article. The 2020 election, and I say this as the lawyer that I am, was, beyond a reasonable doubt, which is the criminal not civil standard of proof, stolen from Trump.
Your turn and hopefully you will do better than “Rarely,” who conveniently vanished when challenged.

Frankly, I’m proud of President Trump for standing strong and not allowing these miscreants to coerce him into submission. It’s about time that the USA has a President with a backbone.

I’m with you, curious george. Trump has the mind and spirit of a superhero. He never backs down even though he has opponents most everywhere, including turncoats like Kasich and Whitman and a bevy of wussy Republicans at every level of government, never mind the decrepit Democrats and the mendacious MSM.
I sometimes sense that America is fading away and Trump was our last hope. I want to be wrong about this.

Curious George, I sure hope that either this lawsuit prevails, or that the challenges to the individual state certifications get sustained by SCOTUS. I doubt that the Texas lawsuit would be thrown out, as it would be a legit state vs state issue. On top of that, if the 17 states lend their weight to it, that would force SCOTUS to take it.
But SCOTUS would first have to resolve whether those certifications themselves were invalid or not before going to the question of what Texas alleges – that it nullifies the Texas electoral vote.
Incidentally, wonder what happened to Pennsylvania where Alito pulled in the date that someone had to explain to him how the Pennsylvania constitution wasn’t violated? Couldn’t find anything on that

1. The Democrat party
2. Mainstream Media bias

5. Weak Republicans.

Trump won that election, and with all the evidence of corruption coming out it doesn’t take a genius to see as to what went on, even I can see it. This was fraud on an industrial scale and
if it is not overturned we will all be going down a very, very dangerous road.
Wellington says
A very dangerous road indeed, john smith. I dread it.

Phil Copson says
“But Republicans must soberly review why they lost the presidency. Conspiracy theories and incitement to violence against governors and election officials will not do.”
———————————————————————————————
Whatever are you chuntering on about, Roland ? The Republicans did not “lose” – Donald Trump won the Presidency in a landslide, and – (in marked contrast to the behaviour of the Left throughout Trump’s Presidency) – neither have they turned to widespread violence, destruction, looting, and murder – and nor will they.
The corruption of the Democratic Party is known the world over, and in 2020 has culminated in a well-planned attempt to subvert the Presidential election.
It is beyond belief that right at the very last moment – (and beyond, in some areas…) – an avalanche of near 100% Biden votes could arrive to reverse the course of the election.
Far from being a “conspiracy theory”, this attempt to subvert the election and deny the democratic rights of the American people is one of the best-attested coup attempts ever.
The amount of factual evidence of systematic fraud is unassailable and virtually endless, from the fact that more votes were returned in some areas than there are registered voters / that votes were submitted in the names of the dead / by those with no state residency / by those too young to vote / by people without US citizenship / that millions of unrequested ballots were deliberately sent out in order to be “harvested” by Democrat activists and misused, so that registered voters arriving to vote in person were told that they had already voted and weren’t allowed to vote.
In addition to the faking of Biden votes, the apparent numbers were also inflated by scanning the same ballot papers multiple times, together with other ploys such as closing polling stations early to prevent votes being submitted in majority-Trump areas, finangling the dead-line in Dem areas to give them time to “find” sufficient Biden votes to overturn Trump’s lead, etc etc.
These are some of the traditional means of faking the count: In the 2020 election, these were turbo-charged with the assistance of the media in gas-lighting the electorate by systematically down-playing or censoring Trump’s many and remarkable achievements in office, whilst simultaneously attempting to suppress the vote by pretending that Biden was substantially ahead in the polls and that there was therefore no point in voting for Trump.
The Big Tech companies worked to boost Biden by actively suppressing the circulation of information on Biden’s career-long underhand dealings with foreign regimes, and the consequences to American workers and to world security of the initiatives that Biden promoted – NAFTA, the Iran nuclear “Deal”, the carte blanche to China to supplant American manufacturing industry, etc.
The final trick was to use computerised vote counting that could be programmed to slice-and-dice the numbers in any way required. These machines had already been proven to have been used to falsify the figures in other elections, and – to their credit – some US states refused to allow the use of Dominion machines in 2020.
It has been demonstrated that in states where Dominion machines and/or the associated software was used, the vote was recorded as heavily in favour of Biden: In states where this software wasn’t used, Biden’s average vote share was just 46%. QED.
Unlike “Russiagate” etc, the above is supported by over a thousand sworn affidavits, expert witnesses, computer records, and video evidence.
For too many on the Left, democracy is simply a system which they exploit to gain office and subvert to maintain power.
In the event that Trump’s victory is correctly upheld by the US Supreme Court, it is very much to be hoped that the slip-shod US electoral system is reformed to ensure that basic safeguards are introduced and enforced, such as accurate voter records, in-person voting to be the standard, identity checks, a strictly-enforced dead-line, non-partisan polling-station and counting-centre staff, full supervision of the count including filming, manual counting, swingeing fines and imprisonment for companies, organisations, and individuals attempting election interference, and all states to be bound by a set of nationally agreed regulations on the conduct of the election. It is beyond ridiculous that different states can follow different rules regarding the conduct of a national election.
(There is a mythical figure in the human psyche; a dreamt-of benevolent being who intervenes to save the innocent from disaster: In medieval times, men wrote stories about a far-distant Christian King “Prester John”, children are told about Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother and the genie in Aladdin’s Magic Lamp, and the American West gave us the “The Outsider” – the taciturn unknown stranger who owes nothing to nobody and is driven by nobody-quite-knows-what, who one day rides quietly into town and ruthlessly and efficiently sets about single-handedly clearing out the corrupt local mayor and his side-kicks, driving out the bad men, generally cleans-up the town and – refusing all reward – gives it back to the awed and grateful towns-people.
“Taciturn” and “The Man With No Name” aren’t terms that readily spring to mind when thinking of Donald Trump, but he’s the closest thing America and the Free World has to “The Man In The White Hat”.)
Wellington says
An excellent summation, Phil Copson.
Phil Copson says
Thank you, Wellington.
(Marshall McLuhan famously said of television that “The medium IS the message.”:
Of the supposed result of the 2020 US election – in which a candidate who rarely appeared, never answered any serious questions, and whose “rallies” were attended by numbers between zero and around thirty, is supposed to have beaten a sitting President whose rallies resembled rock concerts, took more minority votes and more votes in total than any previous US President ever – I would say that for anyone looking for evidence of fraud – “The outcome IS the evidence.”)

I am wondering why the Democratic Strategists had Hunter Biden make a statement yesterday about his tax returns. Now that the election is over and they think they have won, is it time to introduce the much suppressed before the election Biden story. Will the Marxist traitors now connect the dots with Ukrainian, Russian, China, Bidenn money laundering and demand Joe be removed and let Kamala be President-elect. Soros is a sly old, disgraceful excuse of a person who would plan such a coup. Why else did they make an announcement that most people in the know already knew? Are they once again planting more seeds of destruction?

Iranian Dissidents: With a Trump Loss, ‘Now Our Hope Is Gone’
……………
Very depressing.
Westman says
Quite, GI.
I imagine the Israelis are thinking, “We are now alone”, when it comes to defending Israel. Imagine the pressure that will be placed on Biden to stop any support and cut Israel loose.
This could be reversed if the Iranian leadership oversteps in Venezuela and triggers the Monroe Doctrine. Overwise, this “new” US admin may be the impetus that leads to an Iran-Israel war.

I now am certain that election fraud has gone on for much longer than just this election. The recent fraud that has been exposed was a result of panic in specifically targeted democrat locations. In times past the fraud was spread around and not really noticeable but that made it effective and not very noticeable. That would explain why I have gone in to democrat strongholds conversing with the natives and haven’t been able to find too many people that voted democrat or support democrat policies and certainly not a majority.
President Trump was right on target with his fake this and fake that. I am now convinced that what I have suspected all along is in fact reality. The American people are living a giant fraud. All of what we thought to be true is fake.
And this is probably happening in places other than the USA.
Wellington says
There is much merit in what you say, tgusa. So much of life is phony and whatever faults Trump has (and I for one think his virtues far outweigh his faults), one of them is certainly not being a phony. There is nothing phony about Trump and that is so refreshing. Besides, he really did fight for the common American, more than anyone since Reagan.
tgusa says
Completely agree Wellington. Sadly most today know very little about Reagan. The man who is one of the most accomplished and influential politicians of the second half of the 20th century. You cant highlight real when you are pushing fake. Truth? Well, that just wouldn’t do.
As they do now in Egypt future archeologists will unearth Reagan’s tomb and ask, who was this mysterious and hallowed leader?
tgusa says
And one quick thing regarding Reagan. US Navy Destroyer recently shot down a missile launched from in the Marshall Islands targeting Hawaii. The Marshall base is named The Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site. How did Biden vote on Reagan’s 1983 strategic defense initiative, SDI? I would bet that in those days he laughed with democrats labeling it, Star Wars. Crazy. An impossibility. This Christmas in this world today all Americans can thank Reagan for his vision way back then.

I fear for Canadians and the world if Biden / Soros pull this off. I still believe in good vs. evil and Trump will stay as President.

Unconfirmed Reports: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Is Dead
Unconfirmed reports from Iran say the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, returned his soul to his maker. According to the same reports, an official announcement will be made only after the transfer of powers to his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, are completed (Health Deteriorating, Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei Transfers Power to Son).
Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, 81, was the supreme leader of Iran since 1989. He previously served as the president of Iran from 1981 to 1989. Khamenei is the longest serving head of state in the Middle East, as well as the second-longest serving Iranian leader of the last century, after Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

What a bunch of american-centrist drivel. Many Iranians have protested vehemently against their regime, while Trump was still doing reality shows. To think the feelings of Iranians is so intimately tied to America, is just the epitomy of American hubris.
