West Golden--Football star. Playboy. Dead to me.

Nothing puts the final bullet in a girl’s rep like a leaked sex tape. Especially one starring her and the cocky quarterback who’s had it out for her since day one. Yep, you guessed it. That girl is me.

At Cypress Prep, West is king, but all I see when I look at him is the wicked prick who gets off on trying to break me.

His plaything.

Go ahead. Give him a round of applause for winning that last round, but know this--hell hath no fury like a girl from the south side with a baseball bat.

Hurt me once, shame on you. Hurt me twice… over my dead body.
***
NEVER HIS GIRL is the highly anticipated continuation of the KINGS OF CYPRESS PREP series. This is book two in a trilogy and should only be read after completing book one, THE GOLDEN BOYS.

This saga contains strong bully themes. So, if you’re not into romances where hate turns into love (… eventually), and if you don’t like your heroes of the unapologetically alpha variety, this might not be the series for you. There is no rape or dubious consent whatsoever. However, due to adult themes and sexual situations, this one’s only for the 18+ crowd.

This series is sure to give you GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL vibes, and the angst will have you burning through the pages to find out what happens next. One-click and get lost in this series today!

Bullies all over the place!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: ❤️💙💜💛💚
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📔📙
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 👤👤👤👤👤

The setting: Cypress Prep Academy

The Hero(s): West Golden (a.k.a. KingMidas) – The first born of the Golden Triplets. Seniors, football stars and they run the schools. West has feelings for Blue but he kicked her out after they were intimate and then a video was posted of them in the act. Everyone thinks he posted it.

The heroine: Blue Riley (a.k.a. Southside; a.k.a. NewGirl) – Blue is from the wrong part of town and has had a hard life. Her mother left, her Dad is a drunk and her older brother is out of the picture. Blue let West in once and was burned badly and won’t be giving him another chance.

The Love Story: West has a history of bullying Blue and after she let him in and a sex tape was posted she is regretting everything. West knows he didn’t post the video but can’t clear his name because Parker knows his deepest secret.

One thing I hate about these love stories when blackmail is involved is the fact that we all know blackmailers are never satisfied. They always escalate and the person being blackmailed has to eventually make a decision to be a puppet on a string or just out the secret before the blackmailer does. Frankly I think it is weak to let someone pull your strings, but at this point in the story we don’t know how bad the secret is so it is hard to say what you would do in that situation.

I really liked how this story went and how the issue was resolved in the end. Both West and Blue were strong characters and had each other’s backs after the initial issue. I love Pandora’s constant updates as well (The Gossip Girl of this book). She seemed to have a definite point of view of the events she posted about and wasn’t afraid to call foul when she thought things didn’t quite appear as one would think at first glance.

I am thinking Pandora is either Dane’s “friend” Joss (VirginVixen) or possibly even Sterling, since he seems a bit like a dark horse. Dane (PrettyBoyD) and Sterling (Mr. Silver) are the other two triplets with West. Note – these are just wild guesses since it never came out who Pandora is.

Also, the side storyline about West’s Dad being a bad guy is certainly intriguing and only in a romance novel could there be the coincidence of whatever happened to put Southside’s brother in jail being connected to Vin Golden. Though the next in the series should bring more of what is going on there to light. Hopefully in the end, the brother Hunter will get out of jail where he must be enduring some heavy beatings or worse. However, as of the end of this book we know that Vin is a force to be reckoned with and our couple will not have an easy time of it in the next book. Later, Peeps...

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

➽ KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

NEVER HIS GIRL: ➡️is the second full length romance book in the series 'Kings of Cypress Prep', by authors Rachel Jonas & Nikki Thorne. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'

Holy Crap!! This series is so good. It kick started off where the first book left off, another slow burn which got its hooks into me taking me hostage as the storyline took me down paths I never expected to take and like an adrenaline junky I was loving this intense ride! What a way to bring in the 'New Year' So many twist and turns, so many hurdles these two had to jump through to just be together.

❝ I'm always aware of him, like he's always aware of me-two opposite sides of a magnet, drawn to each other because we're so vastly different. ❞

This was completely different compared to the first book where bullying was the main focus, this one there was zilch as its main focal point was on West trying to redeem himself after the leaked sex tape and trying to stop Blue from slipping through his fingers. This wrung so many feels out of me and I can't wait to see how the authors go about wrapping up the last book!!

Am I the only one who would love to read her brother and Ricky's stories?

If you've had your eye on this series and haven't taken that leap yet, this comes highly recommended by yours truly (4 thumbs up by me). 👍👍👍👍

im sorry, but this was a yawn.

i feel like i should like this more cause the grovelling was great, and i appreciated the relationship development between the leads. but damn if the hero wasnt daft. how hard is it to connect the dots? his brain just kept buffering. also, the sexual tension was searing. but i feel like the sex was so vanilla, and it was over like in the blink of an eye.

so, i’d like to retract my statement and say that im no longer into this. the tropes and clichés were getting too... idk in your face or hardcore. the story went from predictable interesting in book 1 to predictable boring in this book. still gonna read the finale though (when the audiobook comes out). just because. i wanna see if im right about something.

the best bully romance... i have ever read?

the grovel

every romance reader’s favourite bitch. we don’t get to see her often. to really see her. we get the half-arsed, skimmed over version of her that is truly disappointing.

but oh bitch. she was full throttle here. and i was honestly living my best life😎

i kid you not, West spends more than half the book grovelling. Blue’s backbone is seriously made of steel. she knew her limits, when things weren’t right for her even if parts of her wanted to give in. she knew her worth and when she deserved more. and when i read this passage, i internally shouted “halle-fucking-lujah” bcos SOMEONE finally gets it:

My mind, heart, and my emotions are still warring with one another. On one hand, I want to believe he’s different, and everything that happened was just a series of misunderstandings. However, I’m not quite that gullible. I need time to process. Need to see a difference and not just be told there’s a difference.

the way i was so happy. finally a heroine who knows her worth. who knows she needs to see a change in the hero and not revel in his pretty, empty words. this is what i crave in a bully romance people!! gimme that redemption arc. forgiveness takes time, it isn’t a one and done thing— it’s a gradual process and this book nailed it, honestly.

i had low expectations, honestly. i hoped that he grovelled for at least half the book (and that was me being optimistic af) and he grovels for even longer than that😭

and bcos of all the grovelling, i really warmed up to West. way more than i was expecting. it kinda caught me by surprise when i was suddenly all soft and rooting for him to succeed. it definitely changed my opinion of him— im not fully there yet, but im praying book three will finally make me fall in love with him. im getting there... but not quite yet. his communication skills improved a lot though. we love an alpha male who can communicate😌

and Blue was still Blue. her kick-arse, stubborn self and i loved her. Blue also punches West in the face in front of their entire class. ghosts hims after they spend the night together. and wrecks the shit out of his expensive af car with a baseball bat. so that was the icing on the cake to his incessant grovelling.

this is arguably the best mf bully romance i have ever read??? everything you could want from a bully romance is in this book— bad bitch heroine, top-tier grovelling, some back and forth bullying antics, a redeemable hero and some typical bully romance cliches. seriously, this and Tryst Six Venom is where it’s at.

I'm gonna SPOIL YOU ROTTEN, so read at your own risk, but everyone needs to be warned against this melodrama 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

The following text will contain a quick recap of events from book 1 and book 2, simply because I didn't think it was necessary to do in my previous review, but here it'll hopefully demonstrate why I'm so PISSED OFF

So in book 1 the hero finds a picture of the heroine naked on his father's secret phone and is convinced she's one of his numerous side pieces. He hates her instantly and swears to destroy her, cause he's too weak to go against daddy dearest, but oh well. At least it's realistic I guess. The H sees that h is new at his school, gains her trust only to turn against her 15 minutes later (WHY not come at her straight away? 🤡 ) The h is ashamed to admit she's a scholarship kid, so she gives a vague response that her tuition is "taken care of", which assures the H he was right in assuming his father slept with her. So the BULLYING BEGINS! Aside from pushing her against the wall and always being in her space, the H didn't do a lot of bullying himself. Instead he sent his loyal mean girls to terrorize her. They pushed her, almost drowned her (h can't swim and was saved by H), almost killed her (she had nut allergy and unknowingly drank some of it, almost didn't make it, but was again saved by H). The H starts this fucked up back and forth, where he hates her, but then kisses her, but then he hates her again, but then he kisses her again... The h tries several times to force H to admit why he hates her, but like a dipshit romance hero that he is, he doesn't budge and the melodrama continues. H's dad then confesses of sleeping with the h, of loving her but leaving her, of h being a manipulative bitch using the H to get to his dad ec. The hero believes his dad and we are nearing the end of the book. H ignores h, h seeks him out to talk, H convinces h that the truth will be revealed after they have sex (bitch wat?) and h agrees. After the fact H tells h she can go, and the next day there is a sex tape leaked with H and h doing the devil's tango. h is crushed but vows to destroy H.

Considering everything that went down between H and his father, I was sure H recorded and leaked the sextape, as a tool to destroy the h. It was still a BULLY romance, right? hehehe, well guess again.

In Book 2 we quickly realize the hero didn't do it, the head mean girl, who is conveniently a bitch and obsessed with H, is guilty of everything, she is BLACKMAILING H to keep quiet. And the hero somehow magically forgot about the convo with dad, doesn't believe his words and simply GOT SCARED of his deep emotions, that's why he sent the heroine away after sex like the dick that he is. 👀👀💀 This kind of backpedaling negates EVERYTHING that led up to book 1 cliffhanger and in the stupidest way. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

So, he keeps quiet about the truth of the sextape, while h is bullied by the whole school, her younger sister is attacked at school and then later at the mall by haters because of it, h is put on PROBATION (she really needs this scholarship). What could be the secret that the mean girl holds over H's head, you ask? What could be worth so much suffering on h's behalf, especially since at this point, the H admits to himself that he cares about h and tries to win her back. Very lamely, might I add 😶 I thought he either A) killed someone; B) assaulted the girl in question; C) raped her. Yes, I know, I have vivid imagination 😂 but this secret was described as being able to DESTROY the life of this rich boy, so it had to be good, right? RIGHT??????

Wrong! *insert evil dying laugh here* The H slept with some girl at the party, got her pregnant, she didn't tell him and got an abortion, then called him hysterically some time after because she was depressed. This girl turned out to be the daughter of the Head Coach for the college team the H wants to play next year in college. 👀👀👀👀👀😶🙃💀 ALL OF THAT SUFFERING ON THE HEROINE'S PART AND FOR THIS?????

Also, H is supposed to be this alpha male, the king of school, but his inner thoughts about relationships, intimacy, girls and feelings leave nasty aftertaste in my mouth. If you're an asshole, at least have the balls to go after what you want regardless of what society deems "manly". Don't act like a dick, then think like a zeta male and expect the readers to swoon at you. Although, judging by the amount of great reviews...which is a mystery to me, H found his tribe.

There is a Book 3 in this series, but every review says it's even worse than this one, so in words of Ariana Grande "Thank you, next!"

Web-Photo-Editor In hindsight, it seems we were doomed from the start, destined to cause one another unspeakable pain, even when we don’t mean to. All because, maybe… I was never meant to be his girl.”

"Never His Girl" is the second book of the "Kings Of Cypress Prep" series by the best-selling author Rachel Jonas. Told in dual perspectives , get ready to meet Blue and King Midas again!!

I have read a lot of books throughout the last 5 years and I can assure you that there has never been another book that drove me as crazy as this one!! The level of anticipation I had for this one was uncountable and I am pretty sure that I scared the author by the amount of times I asked her about this book!!🤣🤣

I am sure that after that ending of the first book, everyone is crazy to get a lot of answers. So was I. And I am glad to tell you that some of my questions did get answered in this one but many more new ones arose too! But then that's the point of having a third book! This author has done it again! I am back to square one , i.e. obsessing about the next book of this series! The ending was perfect and has the right amount of suspense to make me crazy about the next installment. Then Pandora’s entry on top of that just drove me crazy to know what is going to happen!

A definite recommendation to all the Dark Romance Lovers out there!! This series has everything my book-loving heart desires! If themes like Bully Romance , Second chance romance and Suspense are your dope , then don’t hesitate to one click this one!

OMG this was even better than the first one.

The plot just thickens and thickens and naturally SO DOES ALL THE DRAMA I CANNOT STOP EATING UP 🙃🙃

I LOVE how this is so so SO much bigger than West and Blue. What started off as them hating each other due to a misunderstanding is now something much darker and seedier 👀👏🏻

Again, inhaled in 24 hours 😂😂 left no crumbs.

I just WISH it was spicier 😩🤣 that’s my biggest gripe. And the spice was a lil more detailed, what can I say I’m thirsty.

I might come back and add more thoughts later as this is just word thought vomit at this stage having just finished and I’m a lil chaotic 😂😂

Ehh its not you,

its not me either.

Its the virus.

Or maybe it is you?

This After waiting forever. It wasnt bad really compared to my other 2 star rated books but it lacked what book 1 had. For a standalone it would have been great i guess, just didnt give me the feels or content or characters or angst or anything from the first. Even Pandora was missing. Its Prolly the virus. The plot was predictable and uninteresting. Looks like book 3 is heading in the same direction. However book 1 will be one that i will prolly re read In the future.

On a side note- Like come on, your sex tape gets leaked and you're telling thats how things play out? I mean you arent a celebrity. This is not something that happens to every 2nd person and then a pep talk and you get over it. Also the guy who is in love with the girl didnt once think, like oh! random people have seen him doing it to his future wife. In fact he finds it funny his brothers find it hot. Like arg! Id think a decent hero would have hated it if the world saw his girl getting fucked. For real. I mean its a SEX TAPE! Or is this now normal?
Sorry but...

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this book is in a league all on its own!! Everything was absolutely PHENOMENAL and I cannot wait for the last book!! Ahhh!!

Blue and West are both still dealing with the fallout of West's cruel actions, and he's realizing a little too late just what he had. He's trying like hell to rectify his mistakes, but once trust and hearts are broken it's unbelievably hard to mend. And between how strong-willed both of these characters are, it's a toss up on who will give in first.

The emotions were really ramped up in this book, as well as the mystery aspect, which I loved! I connected to everyone so much more here than I did in the first book, and the character development was just outstanding! And that cliffhanger?!? HOLY HELL. It's going to be a long, cruel wait for book three!

I highly encourage you all to read this series, but you HAVE to read them in order. Be prepared to have your mind blown!!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Omg omg omg.
What on earth did I just read???
Just as epic as the first book, you'll be transfixed from cover to cover, and be gobsmacked from the bombshells that don't stop dropping.
I've sat here trying to think of the best way I could talk about this book without spoiling the journey. But there just isn't a way as so much is exposed I don't think my head will stop spinning until the next book.
I'll leave you with this.... it was everything I was expecting and more. Definitely a must click.

you know that feeling when you love the heroine of a book but the hero is way too much of an asshole? and the girl totally deserves better? but then the guy realizes he's an idiot and... just... completely redeems himself?

..
yup, that was this book.

YOU GUYS. I WASN'T EXPECTING THIS. i didn't like West (H) very much in the first book, but here?

without giving too much away, Blue (h) and West's (H) relationship ended on a very bad note on The Golden Boys. things seemed to be almost ruined between these two, but then my boy West had an ✨ epiphany ✨ and decided to fight, once and for all, for the girl he loved.
let me tell you about some things i really liked:

1. THE GROVELING
there's something so satisfying about seeing an alphamale suffer and doing everything he can to earn the h's forgiveness. West knows he doesn't want to lose Blue, so he's desperate for a chance to talk to her. he even gets his brothers and best friend to give him advice about what to do. considering he's such a proud man, this was so cute!

"Dane, Sterling and Joss have appointed themselves as some sort of relationship council, advising me on what to do next, and they all support the decision not to give up. Joss thinks it's romantic, the guys think it'll show commitment. I'm not sure about any of that shit, but I know I feel compelled to keep showing up.
Despite having fucked up so bad, I need her to know I'm capable of sticking around, of being consistent. I need her to know I'm capable of sensing what another human needs and becoming that. Even if it goes against who I am. For her."

gaaaaaaaaah. don't mind me i'm crying.
on the other hand, Blue knows what she's worth and she doesn't make things easy for West, which just makes it all the better ✨ because then we've got him almost begging for her attention. i'm not kidding when i say this book has some of the best groveling i've ever read. i hope that, if you read this, you enjoy seeing him suffer as much as i did 🤭

2. COMMUNICATION, PEOPLE
at one point in the book these lovebirds get together and just. talk. about. everything. miscommunication must be one of the things (if not THE thing) i hate the most about NA books, so to just see these two admitting everything to each other?

YES. also there's a lot of mystery/drama surrounding this trilogy's plot and so far we've seen the two main characters working separately for answers, but when they finally talk about things, they become some sort of allies and i was ALL FOR IT. i don't know why but it gave me flashbacks to the YA paranormal books i used to read when i was a teenager, where we would see the MCs falling in love and working together to bring down the bad guy lol. i guess i don't read many mystery books anymore, so i liked to see this again. i sincerely hope they remain allies throughout the third and final book, because together they can be the ultimate power couple 😎

"We're in this together now," she reminds me. "As long as we don't forget that, and do what we can to protect each other, we're okay."

3. THE ROMANCE
my babies are so cute in this one. i swear, once they stop hating each other, they are both so loveable 😭

"His stare is almost too intense to look into, but I don't let myself shy away from it. It isn't lost how easy this feels with him. How our pieces seem to fit together when we let them, when we're not hellbent on hurting one another."

and underneath that hard exterior West is a complete softie for this girl and her family. i can't tell you the amount of nice things he does for her. there were some hints of this on the first book, but here he just took it to another level for sure 😭 literally everything from defending blue's little sister, standing up to any guy who wanted to pick on blue, going the extra mile to get her muffins without nuts because she's allergic to them. like ????? where do i get a guy like this?

and there were also a lot of steamy scenes between the two 🥵

"Tell me what you want," he says breathlessly, making me dizzy as possibilities swim through my head.
"I... don't know. I-"
"Tell me... what you fucking... want," he says sternly this time, cutting in when my response isn't direct enough.
His deeply spoken words have my chest heaving against his. All because, within those syllables, I feel his need for me. It's more than real. It's tangible, a living, breathing thing that exists in this room with us.
"If you can't tell me... show me," he suggests.
(...) I lift my hands to his smooth, firm shoulders, and as I press them down, he lowers until his knees touch the carpet."

4. Once again, THE SIDE CHARACTERS
we got to see a lot more of Dane, Sterling and Joss in this book (H's brothers and best friend) and i can safely say i love them all so much. it was funny to see them all so invested in West and Blue's relationship.

"My discomfort has her similing bigger now. "You can't just leave us hanging, West. You left something out. Something major," she teases, resting on her fist while eyeing me.
"Honestly? I kind of want to hear this, too," Sterling jumps in. "I mean, if you two weren't getting it on, but you were naked, something sure as hell went down."
"Did she go down?" Dane guesses.
"No... you went down! Didn't you, West!?!?" Joss cuts in with a gasp. I can hear the amusement in her voice and I kind of fucking hate her right now.
I'm shaking my head as a I turn to gaze out the window, avoiding any and all eye contact. This is about to get real fun. Only, in reverse.
"That's it, isn't it?!?!" she squeals.

but Blue's side isn't left behind. her best friends, her sister and even her ex are the most supporting people ever. this girl can't catch a break AT ALL, but to see that she has a lot of people she can rely on just makes me so happy 😭 i swear i want books for each one of these characters. i'd read them all (but let's start with Joss and Dane's romance plz thank you)

OVERALL, there wasn't much i didn't like about this book. it was intriguing, hot, cute, funny, and very well written. it's not a 5-star for me because i do feel it could've been longer instead of having a third book to sort everything out (there are still many things to resolve!). but i'm confident the next one will be good, too. i usually have no faith in sequels and this one turned out to be even better than the first one.

i seriously recommend everyone to read these books if you like feisty heroines and loveable alphas 💖

(audiobook) With the way the previous book ended, I couldn’t wait to read the next. And here we are, after the end of book 2, and it’s still so intense I can’t wait to read book 3. Well played.

There was a serious shift in the characters and their relationship, compared to what they were in book 1. It’s progressive and slow, but the way West acts by the end of this book is the complete opposite of how he acted before. There’s even a couple of swoon-worthy moments that I won’t spoil, but that will make you fall hard, I promise.

Blue and West are still quite young and inexperienced and they make a lot of mistakes that could make you cringe. But, considering their whole situation–that you’ll have more info on along the way–those faux-pas make sense. They have, more or less, no parental figure to take for example, no adult whatsoever around them. Not completely realistic, but logical given their backstories. Not that most of the adults here are trustworthy anyway.

While there was a hint of a suspenseful subplot before, it becomes an important element of the story near the end, that will no doubt be a major plot point in the last book in the trilogy–if the cliffhanger is any indication. It also answers some questions from book 1, showing that the authors gave a lot of thought to the whole plot.

Since Blue and West spend a lot of time apart from each other, they interact with other characters. Friends, family, professors… They are seen through the main characters’ point of view–and Pandora’s–who are too focused on their relationship to give them more thought. With a couple of exceptions, the other characters aren’t developped as well as the main ones. It doesn’t lessen the pleasure though.

Thanks to the narrators’ performance, you can’t help but feel for West and Blue. West’s redemption arc is more powerful with the male narrator’s raw emotions and trembling voice, and Blue’s anger and strength are rendered beautifully by the main female narrator. The third narrator is given more and more expressive snippets along the way and she shows more of her talent.

It can still be a disturbing story, the authors don’t shy from heavy subjects, but they’ll sure make you feel something. On to book 3!

Quickie

- Series: Kings of Cypress Prep #2 (directly follows book 1 and ends on a cliffhanger)
- Hashtags: #sports romance #young adult romance #opposites attract
- Triggers: bullying, public humiliation, alcoholism, parental negligence, cheating, mention of abortion
- Main couple: Blue Riley & West Golden
- Hotness: 5/5
- Romance: 4/5
- + two things I enjoyed a lot: West is showing more of his gentle side and it’s everything; a more suspenseful plot lines has appeared and it’s gripping
- – those poor kids have really shitty parents…

“I want you, in a way that has nothing to do with wanting to fuck you.”

Never His Girl by Rachel Jonas & Nikki Thorne is a dark second chance high school bully sports romance, is the second book in the Kings of Cypress prep series and is told in duel POVs. Book one must be read first in order to understand the storyline.

After the cliffhanger book one left us on, I just knew I had to start book to right away ! This book was just as angsty, and suspenseful as the last one with the right amount of drama. It also continued to have those secrets lurking in the background that finally start to unravel ! I also found myself falling more in love

I loved this book and look forward to reading the next one on the series !

**5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️**

Plot: oh god where do I start. I felt that there wasn’t just one plot, there were so many and it wasn’t too much either. The plot made this story so great. I was honestly shocked towards the end. A bunch of twist just came at you like fire balls.

West: west my bby changes so much in this book. You not only see character development, but you also see a different side of him that you never thought you would see. The first book he’s this brooding, angry at life, teen who’s out for the new girl (blue), but in this book you see a sweet, caring, determined man who realizes his rights from his wrong. And while I loved the mr.grinch west, I most definitely loved seeing west become vulnerable.

Blue: my sweet blue ;( she goes through so much in this book. My heart broke for her in every scene. And although many would think that some of the plots would be her downfall, you thought wrong. Through it all blue stays strong like the bad ass she is. Obviously she shows emotions when things get hard, but she stood her ground. In this book you see blue as this is hard, trust issued girl, that just needs a break from problems. I loved her in this book and I loved how she just stood through it all.

Cons: I didn’t really have a lot of cons, the only thing I would put on my list **********SPOILER***************
***********************************************************************************DONT LOOK DOWN **********************************************************

Is west getting that girl pregnant. I did not like that twist at all, some may not have a problem with it but I just thought it was a useless plot.

UMMM....WHAT IS LIFE?!?!?! Just kidding...kind of. This book....holy crapola, what can I say?! Best book of 2020? It just might be, if not, then DEFINITELY TOP 5...and that is saying something because I have read a lot of good books this year, but Rachel Jonas took this one and just absolutely crushed it.

Never His Girl picks up right where that brutal cliffhanger from The Golden Boys left off and talk about an EXPLOSIVE opening. I do not want to give too much away and no spoilers because I will absolutely not ruin this book for you, but let me just say this...YOU ARE NOT READY. The drama, the lies, the twists and turns, the steam and groveling, lord help me (pretty sure I was panting at one point), but anyways...Blue and West. Talk about a power couple....this is the first book I have read where the female character gives it as good as she gets, both mentally and physically, and it was everything I did not know I needed. The dynamic between these two is FIRE and the push and pull, just damn. I cannot say enough good things about this book...but since I am running out of words without giving anything away.

I will leave you with these parting words...YOU WANT TO READ THIS BOOK THE DAY IT RELEASES. If you have not started The Golden Boys, go grab it RIGHT NOW so that you are all caught up come December 26th when Never His Girl releases. Bravo, Rachel Jonas, BRAVO!!

Gosh, this just keeps getting deeper and deeper into something that I can’t explain.
I can’t ruin it. I’m not even sorry.
I love Blue. I’m like 50/50 on EVERYONE ELSE.
My mind is still reeling from the bombs dropped in these pages, and knowing that there is still more to come is just killing me.
I’m ready for the rest. I need answers.

I tore through book one in about two days and really didn’t think it could be topped. Never His Girl BLEW Golden Boys out of the water! I read it in one sitting and I swear my heart was pounding nonstop. I can almost always give a few “it was great but” notes in a review, but the only thing I didn’t like was the ending. Without giving anything away, it sets book three up in a way that seems like things will take a bit to get stared. That said, I’ve yet to be disappointed in one of Rachel’s books, so I’m going to leave this one at five stars because I don’t see myself being disappointed one bit with book 3.

Holy freaking what!!!! This story just gets even more intense. It had me hooked from the first page and damn I’m so glad we get to see a different side to our West! The relationship between Blue and West grows in this book and some secrets start to come to light but I have even more questions and soooo much hate for Vin Golden!!!!!!! And yep you guessed it we still don’t know who Pandora is!

Było okej, ale nie porwało mnie. Przeczytałam 2 część tylko dlatego, że chciałam się dowiedzieć jak rozwiąże się pewna kwestia..
