With cold weather comes time for wearing a cozy crochet pocket shawl. We’ve rounded up a bunch to help you find the perfect free crochet shawl with pockets pattern. The Thermal Pocket Shawl above was designed by Witherun Style. It uses between 1000 – 1500 yards of a worsted weight yarn. The one in the photo was made with 5 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver and a 5.5mm hook. It measures 60″ x 20″ before fringe is added. Note- When this post was created, this pocket shawl was a free pattern. It’s now available to purchase on Etsy here.
Crochet Shawl With Pockets
The above crochet shawl with pockets was designed by Carrie Chambers over at Crochet with Carrie. This pocket crochet shawl measures approximately 56″ L x 16″ W, uses a 6.0mm crochet hook, and takes 700-800m (~766-874 yards) of worsted weight #4 yarn. That’s quite the range, so just make sure you have 875 yards to make this one with fringe. You can get the free pocket shawl pattern on her website along with a video tutorial here.
Perfectly Pretty Pocket Shawl
The Perfectly Pretty Pocket Shawl above was designed by Selina Veronique, and the one in the picture above was made with 2 skeins of Caron Simply soft in Soft Blue. This pattern is very beginner friendly, and also includes a video tutorial to help you out. You can get the it here.
The Gotto Godda Wrap
The Gotto Godda wrap above was designed by Carlie, and has a lovely stitch pattern and border. The length varies depending on your height, and the width is approximately 18 inches wide. You can get the pattern for this crochet wrap with pockets on Carlie’s website here.
Sabrina Pocket Wrap
This crochet pocket shawl is called the Sabrina Pocket Wrap and is designed by Terri. It’s 18” W x 62” L and uses about 850 yards of medium #4 yarn. The one in the picture was made with Caron One Pound in Medium Grey and a 6.5mm crochet hook. You can get this pattern free on her website here, and you can also purchase the pdf on Etsy here.
