So much chemistry and spice and its fantastic. I think so much was thrown into this book that could've been stories of their own. A serial killer, a stripper, a pedo, an abuser, a bully. I think Shadow deserved more care. Continuously had her heart broken and then gets murdered and Knox didn't even shed a tear for her. I was so hoping that knox would've taken Aspens virginity. I didn't want Leo in the picture at all. The sex scenes were incredible. Very well written. Read this book within 24hrs. I highly recommend this author. My only suggestion is to limit the amount of storyline in a book. Some characters were just not necessary, brought no added value to the book. I was heartbroken at the end however there is a happy ending so keep reading till you get to it. Oh, and P.S - Aspen did you need to do your diploma? That was only 4 YEARS of your life! Lol just saying...

My first time reading this author and I wasn’t disappointed. Loving this genre at the moment, but it’s becoming so repetitive. This story actually still had depth, it’s own plot with minimal similarities to some of the other run of the mills.
Well done, great character personality development, however I only went with 4 stars as I really struggled to visualise the characters.
Well worth the read, and I can’t wait to see what else this author has written.

This book was okay, sometimes I found it hard to read because of what the characters said. I found some things Knox said a bit naff. Also I felt the storyline a bit muddled. The ending felt rushed to me. Overall okay writing, would like more character development and angst.

This book was.... there really are no words to adequAtely describe what I read. But I’ll try. It’s a book of darkness and tortured pasts And pained present and hopeful futures. It’s a book that is taboo and forbidden, but is done in a way that is entertaining and captivating.

Ms Jade does it again and like all the other times I’m floored by her ability to stitch together the english language to create such a masterpiece. The way the emotions are given to you page after page. It grabs a hold of you and doesn’t let go until right at the end.

Knox and Aspen. My goodness. These two are fire together. I love their chemistry. The way they feed off each other. How they both give each other exactly what they need and more.

Love them so hard!!!

It’s not surprising…Ashley Jade has done it again. She’s written an exceptional story with equally exceptional characters.

Aspen, despite her hardships, is fierce. Her ability to face things head-on and overcome any conflict that comes her way is the main reason why I love her so much. She rises above any obstacle and holds her own under challenging circumstances.
If you love a strong female who fights for what she wants, I’m convinced you’ll fall for her as well.

Knox is guarded, calculated, malicious at times, but if you dig beneath the surface, you’ll get a glimpse of something deeper, something you can’t quite explain or understand until you get to the very end of the story, and then it all makes sense.
There’s a fine line between love and hate…I hated to love him, but loved to hate him. He’s a complex character who had me wondering if something was wrong with me for falling so hard for him.

That’s the brilliance behind this book. The author makes you think. Makes you feel. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, digging for clues, until the very last page.

If you love stepbrother/bully romance, you’re certain to enjoy this.
