Priceless Ink is book 5 in The Cortell Brothers series. It is recommended they are read in order.

Sofia
I couldn't do it. All I saw when I looked at Graham was my life going down the drain.
He didn't love me, which he made perfectly clear last night.
The corset was too tight and I was on the verge of a panic attack.
So, I ran...right into a sexy biker. He tore my dress and drove off into the sunset with me.
But that's where this romance ends.

Joe
Imagine my surprise when a sexy bride came running out of a church, right to my bike.
She was hot as hell, and when she asked me to take her away, I was more than willing to oblige.
But then she opened her mouth and I found out who she really was.
She was irritating as hell, so I screwed with her just to have some fun.
The funny thing was, as much as I wanted to send her home, something inside me just wouldn't allow that.

“What’s wrong with it?”
“Not sure. I need to have my brother tow it to his shop.”
“You can’t fix it?” she screeched.
I slowly looked up at the now hysterical woman in front of me. “I’m not a mechanic.”
She pressed her hands to her head and started pacing in her four inch heels along the side of the road, practically hyperventilating. “I can’t believe this. I’m such an idiot! What was I thinking? I should have just married the bastard. At least then I wouldn’t be stuck on the side of the road in my freaking underwear!”
“Are you alright?” I asked, standing slowly. It was like she was a wild animal about to bolt.
“Oh, I’m just peachy,” she snapped. “I ran out of my wedding that cost more than my life. My parents are going to kill me, and my fiancé was fucking my bridesmaid. And now, I’m stuck on the side of the road with a sexy biker who probably planned to take me home and do unspeakable things to me. But sure, I’m wonderful.”
My eyebrows shot up my forehead at her rant. “So, you think I’m sexy?”
“That’s what you took out of that?”
I shrugged. “Seemed to be the only thing relevant to me.”
She screeched and slammed her foot down on the ground. “Why are men so infuriating?”
“Because it’s in our DNA?” I asked, unsure of the answer I was supposed to give.
“Do you think this is funny? I just ran out of my wedding. My very expensive wedding. I was going to be on page six!”
“And that’s important?”
“Are you kidding?” she shouted. “My wedding was going to be the highlight of the season.”
“Summer?”
She rolled her eyes and groaned. “This is hell. That’s what this is. I’m in hell because I ran out of my wedding.”
“But you said your fiancé was fucking your bridesmaid. Sounds like you got the better end of the stick when you ran.”
“Oh, sure, of course you would think that. You don’t care about what anyone thinks. Just look at you.”
I quirked an eyebrow at her and crossed my arms over my chest. “And just what the hell is that supposed to mean?”
She narrowed her eyes at me. “Oh, don’t make me say it.”
“I think I will. You seem to know exactly what kind of person I am. So, please, tell me what you think I am.”
“Fine,” she snapped. “Your body is covered in tattoos. Do you know what your skin will look like in twenty years? Your hands are covered in grease-“
“Because I was just looking at my bike…”
“And your hair is floppy and…and…not styled. You wear a leather jacket and ripped jeans. Your whole personality screams that you don’t care what others think. I bet you don’t even have a job!”
“And you do?” I asked, already pretty sure about the answer.
“No,” she huffed. “But I’m not supposed to have a job. My job was to marry someone that would be good for my father’s business.”
I nodded. “That sounds like an admirable job. I’m sure not everyone is cut out for that type of work.”

This was definitely priceless. The banter and back and forth had me laughing so loud my family thought I was going crazy. This was one amazing ride that I could not put down for the life of me, until I was completely done. The chemistry is out of this world and the story is just fun, sexy, and flowed well that I didn't notice the time while I was reading.

Priceless Ink is book 5 of the Cortell Brothers Series. The focus is on Joe Cortell and Sofia. This book could be read as a standalone but I recommend starting at the beginning of the series to have a better understanding of the other characters and what is going on at this point in time with their family and small town.

Joe is definitely the most emotional Cortell brother. He's sensitive, protective, caring, but he can also be your worst nightmare if you piss him off. That man has quite the temper on him when pushed. He's the youngest so it seems like his family under estimates his abilities, can be really judgy about his life, and often they try to baby him or handle him with kid gloves. But he's a lot more responsible and level headed then people give him credit for. It broke my heart when he went through his funk.

Sofia comes off as a rich, snobby, prude. But that was just a defense mechanism as well as a product of how she was raised. She was sheltered and although she said she was raised with manners she was often times rude and had no filter. I felt that Sofia never truly grew a backbone and never blossomed to her full potential. Sure she lost her materialistic, and uppity attitude, but she never really see her gain any real life skills.  We never find out what her plans were and if she ever found a career. But she was selfless when it came down to protecting Joe and his family, so she is loyal.

Joe's MC was just dropped like a hot potato. Did Sofia ever do the charity work she discussed with them? Didn't they ever worry about Joe's whereabouts? It would have been a fun twist in having the club appear for the actual show down, since he considers them like family and they accepted Sofia.

FINALLY, Ma Cortell addressed her involvement in what happened with Robert and Ana all those years ago. Although we don't know what was said per se, at least it was finally brought up and not swept under the rug. I thought she was really sweet with Sofia. She was a little less overwhelming in this book and actually supportive, especially when it came to Sofia's family issues. Speaking of Sofia's family, they deserved more then what they got in my opinion.

I found this book to be more light hearted compared some of the previous books. There is a mix of humor, classic Cortell brothers banter, and LOTS of family drama. We also get a lot more of the women mingling then before and that was a nice change. It looks like Andrew Cortell's book is up next and will wrap up the series. I can't wait to find out who puts his arrogant butt in check!

Oh, these Cortell brothers. Joe Cortell has been keeping us laughing ever since Eric's book with his millennial speak ("spill the tea," "you salty bro?" "she's quiche AF") and his sometimes not so wise posts on the town Facebook page. He's been a charming, loveable, and frequently wise little brother. He perplexes his siblings by being part of a motorcycle club and owning a tattoo parlor--but let's be real, he's 24, he's doing pretty good. The older Cortell's just have a tough time taking him seriously. And there is the underlying theme of this book.

Sofia is literally a damaged bird from a gilded cage. Manipulated, bullied, and forced to "behave" by her overbearing parents, Sofia is a sad girl until she decides to break away. Little did she know her life and Joe Cortell's lives are about to change.

What we get from there in Priceless Ink is pure Giulia Lagomarsino, humor, and emotion that causes tears. The brothers have to take a step back from being over-protective of the family's baby, Joe. Andrew, Joe's closest brother, has to face some of his own truths. It's a fantastic story. And Derek (from Reed Security) does make an appearance, and it is epic!
I am so looking forward to Andrew's story, but I'm not at the same time because I can't bear to think my time with the Cortell Brothers is coming to a close. Couldn't Ma Cortell have had a couple more kids?

Priceless Ink is the fifth book in The Cortell Brothers series and is my favourite... so far.

I absolutely loved this book. The characters are so well depicted that you can hear and see them in your mind. Sophia drives Joe nuts as he drives her away from her disaster of a wedding. His family is wonderful; her, not so much. This story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
I read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book with no obligation.

Love Joe

Sofia ran....but she was used to certain things. Expensive things, but she felt something when she met Joe.

Joe was not sure about this woman. Her demands, her want for fancy things, her shorty behavior, but he saw something more.

These two were good for one another, Sofia became a real person, not a robot, but Joe's family didn't trust her. Would their distrust destroy them? Or would Sofia prove them right?

God, I loved Joe.

Oh my goodness this book was so much to read! What do you do when you see a bride run out of a church with a wedding dress on? What else’s, load her on your motorcycle and run with her!
Sofia is the polar opposite of joe and watching these two together, you will definitely get your laughs! I absolutely loved it!

Fun, sexy mexy, plenty of action and yes at times tears.

This is by far the best series and the offspring series I have read this year.

The complex threads that Giulia weaves her stories, and her characters keeps you coming back for more. You will be riveted to the pages and find that hours have passed by the time you manage to pull yourself away.

You will laugh your arse off when you are not sweating through the action.

My rating for this book is 4 star. I hate a little bit sofia character because of how spoiled se is but i feel bad because how her parents treat her. no one deserve to be treat like this. Now its time for Joe to be the one who are being gossip from the whole town. I hate how andrew treat Sofia like that. I understand he think that sofia will go back to graham but he at least need to support joe about this. I wonder what if the role for virgin is joe instead of sofia. Cry a little bit when reading this book.

Priceless Ink is the 5th book in Logomarsino’s Cortell Brothers series and IMHO the best so far. It just barely misses a 5 star rating for reasons I’ll reveal in a spoiler at the end of my review.
The youngest brother Joe is our male lead in this story. Joe is a good guy at heart but like the next youngest Cotrell brother Andrew, he often has acted more like an adolescent than a man in his late twenties. Joe has recently opened his own tattoo shop. He and Andrew live above it in a small apartment. Joe is also a member of The Shadows, a motorcycle club that does good works around their small Indiana town. Joe is given a mission to meet with some charitable organizations in nearby Chicago. On his way home while stopped at a traffic light he sees a young woman dressed in a wedding gown rushing towards him waving her arms at him. The young woman is twenty-four year old runaway bride Sophia our female lead.
Sophia is the classic bird kept in a gilded cage Her parents are wealthy. She has been groomed since birth to become the wife of someone who can form an advantageous business alliance with her father. Her role in life is to stand beside some wealthy man, look pretty and throw dinner parties when needed. Her father views her as nothing more than a tool to leverage his wealth. Her mother is an absolute soulless witch who controls her every move to the point of locking her in her room and denying her food when she isn’t pleased with Sophie’s behavior. Sophie has no money of her own, no job skills and no real friends. She feels trapped in this life she was born into. Although its revealed Sophie went to college we’re never told what her major was. It’s clear she knows how to do absolutely nothing for herself since servants have catered to her every need her entire life. When Sophie discovers Graham the man she’s being forced to marry fucking one of her bridesmaids the night before their wedding she confronts him. He makes it clear that he doesn’t love Sophie anymore than she loves him. It’s a marriage of convenience and he has no problem with them having an open marriage as long as they are both discreet. Sophie is sick of a life of being what everyone else wants her to be and told what to do. When she realizes marrying Graham will just be trading in one gilded cage for another she panics and runs out of the church on her wedding day. Towards a sexy tattooed biker in leather.
From the time Joe spirits Sophie away from the church she behaves like a spoiled bitch, looking down her nose at Joe, thinking she has him pegged and then his family and town. Despite her attitude Joe finds himself attracted to Sophie. He decides she needs a crash course in reality. While Sophie hates sleeping on Joe’s lumpy couch in his small bachelor apartment and the menial job he gets her working in Mary-Anne’s bakery (where she’s totally inept at performing even the most simple tasks), Sophie discovers she likes the freedom of making her own decisions and that hard work and shopping at thrift stores is well worth the cost of that freedom. Of course she also begins to fall in love with Joe. Joe’s family continues to warn him not to get in too deep with Sophie, not knowing the full story of what her life at home was like they’re all sure that she’ll eventually tire of slumming with Joe and chose to return to her former life breaking his heart. His brother Andrew is the worst of the offenders but honestly his entire family is pretty disappointing in the way they refuse to fully embrace Sophie as one of their own. Their attitude begins to form a major rift between Joe and the rest of his close knit family.
Watching Sophie bloom from an arrogant spoiled young woman to one who begins to understand and appreciate what’s truly important in life while she falls in love with Joe and proves worthy of the faith he has in her true character, watching her slowly bond with the Cortell women (especially Carly who is a real hero in this one) is at times sad and at others hysterically funny. The only problem I had with the story is you know the minute everything seems to be blue skies and rainbows, you can tell exactly what is going to happen in the rest of the story. Not that it isn’t enjoyable. Just too predictable.

Opposites attract is the perfect way to simply describe Joe and Sophia’s relationship.

We’ve seen a lot of Joe in the previous books and he’s usually bringing with him the seamless humour that Giulia blends into her romance books. It’s been nice finally seeing things from his perspective and getting to know the man behind the actions which typically involve his brother’s lives being on the town’s Facebook page. It takes a lot of courage to lay bare some of the things Joe revealed about himself and to stand up for what you think is right, damn the consequences, and Joe does this not just to Sofia but his family as well and I came to really admire him after the actions he takes in certain parts of this book. I really enjoyed getting a deeper insight into Joe and his relationship with his brothers.

Now I’ll admit I really struggled to like Sofia for a good part of this book but I think it takes the reader, like with the Cortell family, a while to warm up to her and see what Joe sees from the beginning. I agreed with the descriptions other characters gave Sofia she was a snob, bratty, and spoiled. I had sympathy for her character sure, the life that she was living with its complete lack of choice, is one I wouldn’t wish on anyone but her actions and derogatory remarks towards the people and town who have stepped up to help her left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t until her interactions with Joe’s family increased and the interesting dynamic between her and Carly presented itself that I started to like her more. The more of that side of her we saw, the more I think I started to see what Giulia had Joe see in her and by the end of the book my opinion had changed.

That isn’t to say I didn’t like Joe and Sofia’s interactions from the beginning, because I did. From the moment they meet they clash and the resulting banter, sass, and humour was really enjoyable to read. It had the feel of a Giulia Lagomarsino book whilst also presenting a couple that had you wondering just how on Earth are they going to work together? And if you could see it happening at all.

As with this series, at least in my opinion, the Cortell family love is the shining star of any of its instalments. The way these brothers (and now their partners) band together for one another is next level. The family love is unlike anything I’ve come across in other series about families and it adds so much more to the experience that comes from reading one of The Cortell Brothers books. There comes a part of this book when the brothers come together to help Joe and it was hilarious, totally reminding me of the awkward and funny situation those Reed Security boys would find themselves in, then when all the women come in and rally around Joe showing the guys how it’s done the smile would not leave my face. Having Derek, Claire and Joe’s parents make more of an appearance and the way this family comes together is amazing.

This hasn’t been my favourite instalment of the series but it a strong addition to the story of this family and I still enjoyed it. I can’t wait to see where Andrew’s story goes and what kind of chaos this family will find themselves in next. As always, I’ll be counting down the days.

How to pick the right place to start reading a new author?

Just pick a book, begin and to heck with the consequences! Priceless Ink was a great choice on where to begin with a new author. Giulia Lagomarsino was a new author to me but now I am destined to step backwards and gobble all I have missed. Giulia has an amazing writing skill that makes the scenes leap off the pages. Add to that relatable characters with heart and spirit and I was swept into the dynamic world of the Cortell Brothers.

The thing I hope for in a romance story is that if there is family involved, that the family will be there in the end...maybe even bound tighter together than when the story began.

While this is a love story between Joe and Sofia you couldn’t tell it from the start. Opposites attracting is an understatement, yet when duty calls a true alpha will always step out of his comfort zone to support another. Even if that other comes with baggage he has never seen or experienced before. Sometimes the journey traveled really is better when shared.

Watching a man follow his heart makes for a great story. Watching a woman discover her true worth is what makes the spirit soar. And with each turn of the page I was more involved with our couple. Not to mention Giulia brings the sizzle to full force with these two. Talk about hotness sparks leading to some “oh damn baby” moments...yes they are here.

And when all else fails, when circumstances force issues they cannot control… that is when family matters. This is Book 5 of the Cortell Brothers Series. I can only imagine what I have missed in the other 4 stories, but I will be visiting them soon. Cause even when they may not be sure, this family stands together no matter.

Action packed in so many ways with an unexpected happily ever after, Priceless Ink is one for my record books and I hope yours also. Giulia Lagomarsino you provided a wonderful story and I look forward to reading more!

To say these two are from different worlds is putting it mildly.

Joe Cortell, the baby of the Cortell brothers, always ready with a joke, a smile or just to cause trouble, he’s the baby brother and has the job down to a T. Joe is always ready to help out his brothers, even if they don’t want his kind of help. He supports them all the time and when he needs their support, they let him down.

Sofia Lancaster comes from a very prominent Chicago family. However, even with the riches that her family has, she is not a happy woman. She has been catered to her whole life and doesn’t really know what to do in the real world. Needless to say, when she ends up in the small town living above a tattoo shop, she is beyond herself.

I love the Cortell brothers and while I’ve loved each of their books, I think Priceless Ink was probably my favorite. I still think that Joe’s love life should have been shared on the town FB page though. Joe and Sofia couldn’t come from more different worlds, but Joe is exactly the person for Sofia. He’s sweet, generous, funny, loyal and if you end up on his bad side, be prepared for some not so nice treatment. I love reading these books, they are full of funny scenes, wonderful characters, a loving family, and great love stories. The Cortell brothers are close, and they think they do no wrong, but the women in their lives prove to them that they each have some learning to do. Corduroy should really get his own book too, he is a part of the Cortell brothers by acquaintance and he is helpful when it comes to their relationships as well, LOL. I give this book a 5-star review and I am looking forward to Andrew’s book. If you’re looking for a book that will have you laughing, crying, wanting to yell at some brothers to support the main character, you will love Priceless Ink. It had me laughing from the beginning of the book, but there were some rough parts as well. Overall, it’s an awesome read.

Review Blitz link here: https://reesesreviews.blogspot.com/20...

Let me start off this review by saying I have not read the books in this series so Priceless Ink was my first exposure to Guilia Lagnomarsino's books or the Cortell family. That being said I don't feel like I was confused by the story or characters at all.

Joe and Sofia come from completely different worlds. Joe is a working-class biker with a close-knit family who lives in a small community and would do anything for his friends. Sofia comes from a rich family who sees her as nothing more than a pawn in the game of getting more money.

When Sofia sees her fiance having sex with one of her bridesmaids the day before her wedding she is filled with the dread that this will be her life. In a mad dash, she rushes from her wedding and jumps on the first bike she sees, and escapes. Joe couldn't believe the sight of the tiny woman rushing from the church in a huge wedding dress demanding he "go-go-go." At first, he thinks she's the most beautiful woman he's ever seen until she opens her mouth. She's entitled, rude, and every bit of an upper-class bitch.

Sofia has never done anything reckless in her life. Never done anything just for herself. Now she's free and coming to realize she has no skills beyond being a trophy wife. Joe's life is such a shock to her system she feels like she's drowning. When she decides to stay for a little while and figure herself out she comes to see her true self. Only problem? Joe's family doesn't like her and she's quickly falling hard and fast for him.

Priceless Ink was a great story from beginning to end and I couldn't be happier for signing up to read this amazing story. Priceless Ink is a must-read. Beginning to end laughs, intense sexual chemistry, and adorable dates.

I have been waiting for Joe's story and Giulia Lagomarsino delivered! Joe Cortell, resident gossip king who seemingly, innocently posts the private events in his siblings' lives. OOPS. He's misunderstood, literally, for his millenial speak that only Andrew can understand, but also because of his membership in a biker club and his profession as a tattoo artist. He didn't expect to give the runaway bride a ride, but he wishes he didn't when she opens her mouth.

Sofia Lancaster was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She's used to being catered to hand and foot, and she'll get more of the same when she marries Graham. But, after she catches him with her bridesmaid, she decides to rebel and run away.

Joe can't stand the way Sofia talks down to him and teaches her many lessons along the way. What he didn't expect was that her innocence and naïveté would grow on him and when her personality changes for the better, he finds himself falling for her.

Oh how I have waited for Joe to fall in love! Once he discovered just how cruel Sofia's family was to her, he makes it his quest to protect her. I was just as livid as he was at the way the rest of his family treated her and applauded his tirade at them. But when the entire family banded together to figure out that cryptic letter Sofia left and set out to solve its puzzle, I cried. I cried because this is the Cortell way that I've grown to love. They joke and play pranks on each other, they fight and make up, but one thing is very clear--the love and respect they have for each other and their partners.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

What happens when a spoil brat of a socialite runs out of her wedding and ends up on the back of a sexy biker’s bike – A Cortell family drama that’s what.

Sofia has been raised to do exactly what is expected of her by her rich parents, she eats what she is told, talks when she should, dresses impeccably and acts the way a ‘good lady’ should. She was expected to marry a man her father decided she should. When she discovers something about her fiancé the night before her wedding, she decides to take action.

Joe was sitting on his bike minding his own business when a gorgeous bride comes running up to him and begs for him to take her away. From the moment Joe cut the wedding dress off Sofia with his knife you knew things were going to get heated.

As usual with any of the Cortell brothers, love does not come easy. Several fights, many arguments, a controlling father, a spiteful mother, a disrespectful husband, six brothers, five women and even an interfering police officer, this book has it all, but will Sofia get the life she wants or the one that has been chosen for her. Will Joe realise the truth before it is too late.

Priceless Ink is the fifth book in the Cortell Brothers series and follows the story of the youngest brother Joe. It took me a while to warm to Sofia and I could understand the other brother’s feelings towards her, but after a while the true her came out. Giulia has produced a masterpiece as usual, I laughed, I cried, I wanted to kill just about all of Joe’s brothers. The end came far too quickly.

Sofia comes from a very powerful family who has a lot of money, and they've kept her basically a prisoner who knows how to do nothing for herself. And if she even wanted to try, she would be shut down in very mean ways, even at 24 years old since her parents basically own her. She's told how to walk, talk, or not talk, smile, clothes to wear, and no choice in who she's supposed to marry. It all comes to a head when she catches the man she's supposed to marry (not want to marry) cheating on her, and instead of walking down the aisle the next day, she makes a break for it. She ends up on Joe Cortell's bike, and he takes her with him, but things didn't start out great once she opened her mouth. She really did say some of the worst things, and Joe was trying to teach her lessons of life. Somewhere along the way, she realized that she was okay with these things as she was free. That didn't change the fact that she didn't make a great impression on his family, in fact, she totally got in a physical altercation with Carly, which had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. Of course anything to do with the Cortell Brothers are filled with moments that keep me laughing, angst to mess with my emotions, family fights to get the blood pumping and an all around good time will be had by all. However, controlling people like her parents never leave well enough alone when it comes to their property, so hit those one click buttons to see how it all plays out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Priceless Ink is book 5 in The Cortell Brothers from Giulia Lagomarsino and it's Joe's story. I was so excited for Joe's story.

When I read the blurb for Joe and Sophia's story I couldn't wait to read it. Joe's in a MC and Sophia is a runaway bride, so many things could happen there. Sophia is running away from a life she didn't want. She's basically being forced to marry a man she doesn't want to. Joe just happens to be at the right place at the right time. Sitting at a red light in front of the church when a beautiful woman comes running out. There are moments in everyone's life that changes them forever, for these two it's this moment. These two are opposites in every way. They grow on each other and love starts to form.

No Cortell Brothers book would be complete without the Cortell Brothers. These brothers and their relationship is really what makes these books. They make me laugh and make me angry but I adore them.

Why am I giving this book 4 stars? I really didn't like Sophia. I couldn't relate to her and out of all the heroines in the series she's my least favorite. It's hard to give a book 5 stars when the heroine just isn't my cup of tea. I don't think anything is wrong with her, I just didn't care for her.

Priceless Ink is a great addition to the series. It kept me reading from start to finish. And I really am dying for the next book in the series. I love these brothers.

This the fifth book in this wonderful series and while it can be read as a stand alone if I was you I would read the entire series in order as all of the preceding characters have their part to play in this latest story and knowing the family dynamics also helps you to understand Joe better

Joe is the youngest of the Cortell's the baby the one always treat with kid gloves but he far tougher than his family give him credit for especially when he finally finds something he is willing to fight for That thing is Sofia he first meets her when she flees her wedding day a wedding her father has planned to help his business She has been brought up to obey and always do the right thing but she is finally realising the right thing isn't always what is best for her Joe's family aren't to sure about Sofia but Joe shows his backbone when he stands up for her and makes his choice Now her father may be coming back after her but she has the Cortell's standing behind her and no one messes with them when they are defending family which is what Sofia has become. As usual you have the usual banter that is Guilia's mark on any of her books as she is a true student of human nature and it shows in all her books

Out of all the Cortel brother's series, this book has turned out to be my favourite.
Honestly in the beginning I couldn't seem to develop interest into it to finish it in one go like I had went with the other books in the series, but after like 40% of the book, I couldn't stop reading.
This series was all about family, standing beside each other always and that had been continued in all other's too. Somewhere in between this one we lost it but well Carly set them all straight. We should be glad for her.
I missed how nothing about this story went on the town's Facebook page, not Joe but someone else should have done it for him😂
And that one event of every book where they would do anything for each other, even with the useless banter in between, that's the most beautiful thing about this. Taking up the whole town to hospital with Eric for him to make up with Kat, or sending them behind Charlie to stop her from leaving the town or bringing back Sophia.
And at last, three grandbabies came as a big surprise, I was really happy for Kat and Eric for this after they had lost Angel. I cannot wait to now how the hacker Andrew will the right girl for him.

I really enjoyed this book which is the 5th book in the Cortell Brothers series. Introduced in the Reed Security series, the Cortell Brothers series tells the stories of the (obviously) Cortell Brothers. Joe is the joker of the family. Laid back, easy going, always cheerful. Sophia seems to be the Princess from the Golden Tower, but all is not as it seems. Free for the first time in her life to experience how people on the other side of the kingdom live, Sophia gets a huge helping of life as the rest of us know it.

Joe is determined to help her in spite of how his family feels about Sophia. I really liked how the characters reacted to what is going on and taking a good look at how others are treated, even though it is with the thought of someone's best interest at heart. One thing I love about these books is I feel like I have come back to town for a visit with old friends since everyone shows up to catch me up on what's been going on with them. What a great feeling, but I hate coming to the end of the book. It feels like my vacation is over and I have to return to everyday life.

'Priceless Ink' is the fifth book in Giulia Lagomarsino's "The Cortell Brothers" series. We've gotten to know bits and pieces of Joe's personality from his brothers through all the previous storylines but this time we get to know his thoughts and his point of view on things. I was like the rest of the Cortell family, I didn't have a very high opinion of Sofia for quite some time. That is until I realized her life was like an onion, full of layers, and quite a few brought tears to my eyes. Joe really believes strongly in standing up for what he perceives as right regardless of what other people think, including his own family. I think because Sofia was so totally opposite, including her snide and disrespectful comments to those only trying to help her. Even though they were total opposites in personality the chemistry they had between them was palpable, the banter back and forth every time they clashed was full of emotion, and of course, the story is filled with the character's humor that Ms. Lagomarsiino is known for in her books.

Sophia was forced into a marriage she didn’t want, her father reminding her it would help his business contacts, then at the last minute realises she can’t go through with it and runs, straight into Joe.
Something about the runaway bride has Joe helping her, but the more he learns about Sophia the more he realises the life she led and didn’t have any choices.
Sophia can’t believe how much on life she missed out on, being controlled by her family and not allowed to do anything for herself, she can’t see herself going back to that life and a life without Joe.
Finally, Joe’s had enough, and lets his family know that Sophia is his life, and they can take it or leave it.
Finally, happy and having a new life and family, Sophia never expected her father to show up and demand that she goes back, she was happy and not leaving but again she underestimated her father. Sophia’s father underestimated the Cortell family who doesn’t like messing with someone in their family and Sophia was their family.
Another great addition to the series.

Joe and Sophia

Princess in distress. That's what she looked like and Joe couldn't help rescuing her. Her being the beauty in a huge wedding dress running across the street begging him to help her. What's a guy to do? If he'd know what a stuck-up princess he'd gotten he may have thought about it.

So what was she supposed to do now? No money. No clothes. No work experience. She'd been raised to be a trophy-wife. But her husband-to-be was worse than even she thought. Her parents wouldn't help. Who would? This tatted biker bad-boy?

Neither one was prepared for the other. They had a lot to learn. The reader's fun is going along for the ride. The family usually accepts girlfriends, will they this time? Watching her see how the others live, those with less money? Will she grow up, change?

The family, as usual, will interfere with Joe's decisions. Who will he listen to and what will he decide? There is plenty of steam, lots of interaction with the family, and some unbelievable situations.

4.5 star

The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below, I would recommend reading those books(s) first.
Maintenance Required (The Cortell Brothers #1)
Collateral Damage (The Cortell Brothers #2)
Wanted Dead Or In Love (The Cortell Brothers #3)
Textbook Approach (The Cortell Brothers #4)

This is Sofia and Joe’s story. Sofia met Joe when she ran from her own wedding. She asks Joe to help her and he does but her attitude leaves a lot to be desired. She has to learn how to survive on her own. She is used to the rich life her parents gave her but now she has to get a job. Joe teaches her some lessons but fall for her in the process. She fall for him but when her father comes for her what will she do? Protect herself or Joe? Can she survive if she has to leave Joe? Will he come after her? Or will he just let her go?

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. But all and all it was a great story.

I highly recommend this book.

Giulia writes an interesting rich girl and biker boy romance story that will have you hooked from the start.
Sofia is from one of the wealthiest families in Chicago. She was to marry Graham, who was also a wealthy person. Well on the eve of her wedding she catches him with one of her bridesmaids.

Joe is the biker boy who owns the tattoo parlor it a small town. He belongs to a MC but they are not the typical MC group. He is also from a large family of guys. Joe is a nice guy and is single

What happens the day of Sofia's wedding will change both Joe's and Sofia's life. Joe happens to be riding pass the church and sees Sofia running out screaming at him to get her out of there. She climbs on the back of his bike and leaves.

What happens when Joe sees Sofia for the person she is, a spoiled princess? Sofia assumes the worst in Joe and tells him what she thinks of him and his lifestyle. Things get off to a rocky start. Joe says things to hurt her and he doesn't seem to care.
Things start to heat up and they both start to like each other but do not admit it. Will they give in to their urges?
The tension between the two of them was extremely evident with the way the author wrote their dialogue. This book is full of twists and heartbreak but worth the read.

Priceless Ink is the fifth book in The Cortell Brothers series, but it was fine reading it as a stand-alone. This was a new-to-me author and I was excited to have the chance to read it. It was well-written and fast-paced. The characters and the storyline were developed. My attention was caught in the beginning and in fact, I stayed up late to finish it because I could not put the book down. It was down-right hilarious, entertaining, emotional, and full of snark between the characters. I laughed the entire book and had a smile on my face until the very end. The main characters were charming and so easy to relate to. Sofia started out being a snob and rude, but she finally came to realize that money was not as important as the people in her life. Joe was such a sweet guy and loved helping everyone. I loved how he kept his cool and just ignored Sofia’s behavior in the beginning. I enjoyed reading this book and the previous books look pretty entertaining also.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

These books do need to be read in order.
This is Joe, the youngest Cornell’s story.
He is in the city On business when a women runs out of the church across the street tripping of her dress jumps on and tells him to hurry and go.
Sophia thought she wanted to be the trophy wife she was born to be but after catching Graham with her maid of honor and his speech that they were married in name only
She backed out and fled.
Arriving at Joes she was quite the diva and her and Joe clashed like titans, but they developed a relationship and Sophia finally decided she wanted Joe but the going wasn’t east she had to earn her place in his family plus she couldn’t hide from her family forever.
Everytime I read one of these stories I say it’s my favorite... well I’m saying it again. This is my favorite. I’ve always loved Joe and Sofia was great and her and Carly’s friendship was more than funny.
If you like
Opposites attract, runaway bride,
Light MC, And a funny, sexy romance...this is for you! I cannot wait to see what’s next.
