Reports reveal that Israel bombed Iranian targets near Damascus on Sunday. It was retaliation for an Iranian attack on an Israeli-owned ship in the Gulf of Oman.
Iran becomes bolder daily due to the weak American administration. The rest of the West shrugs as Iran’s adventurism increases. Iran refuses to even come to the table for talks with Biden’s handlers on a nuclear deal, a deal that be a windfall to the regime. Iran is seeking to make up for the time it lost during the Trump administration by demanding an immediate lifting of sanctions, and then negotiating a new nuclear deal.
Israel, however, has been guarding its border with Syria on the Golan Heights, due to the Iranian regime’s increasing threats.
“Israel strikes Iranian targets in Syria in response to ship attack,” Reuters, March 1, 2021:
Israel reportedly bombed Iranian targets near Damascus in Syria late Sunday night leading to speculation that the airstrikes were in response to what is believed to be an Iranian attack on an Israeli-owned ship in the Gulf of Oman last Thursday.
The Syrian army said on Sunday evening that an Israeli airstrike targeted parts of southern Damascus in escalating attacks that regional intelligence sources say target Iran-linked assets.
A Syrian Army statement said the attack came from the Golan Heights and that it had downed most of the missiles, in the second such strike in less than a month on the outskirts of the capital.
An Israeli military spokesman declined to comment on the report. The strikes on Sunday night come just days after an Israeli-owned commercial vessel…

But I thought that Damascus was guarded by an invincible S-400 air defense system! Guess the Syrians forgot to plug it in again.

Disagree … the mullahocracy doesn’t understand human military force. They feel that Allah is on their side and a miracle will happen.

no, but they *do* understand when they’re outgunned and weaker than their opponents. time for a treaty!

If Iran insists on living in the 7th century, then the NATO Countries should help them do that.

Christine Douglass-Williams summarizes this story perfectly: “Iran becomes bolder daily due to the weak American administration.”
The frail, declining Bribed-en presidency is a target for all of America’s enemies. They feel they ‘JUST MIGHT’ get away with it when they knew they would pay a steep price in any attempt under President Trump.
Now the world has become a VERY dangerous place since BigTech stole the election.

Kudos to Israel for standing up for herself. But she will probably be castigated for not rolling over.
